Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Desa Mandalle, Kecamatan Bajeng Barat, Kabupaten Gowa ini sasarannya adalah masyarakat setempat, ibu-ibu rumah tangga dan karang taruna desa tersebut. Sebanyak 85% penduduk desa Mandalle berprofesi sebagai petani, sisanya bekerja sebagai PNS dan pedagang. Keadaan ekonomi masyarakat desa Mandalle belum dapat dikategorikan sebagai masyarakat menengah ke atas atau masyarakat mampu. Berbagai persoalan yang terjadi pada mitra seperti tidak berkembangnya keterampilan pada kalangan ibu-ibu rumah tangga di desa Mandalle yang bukan semata karena keterampilan yang kurang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan permintaan mereka, namun juga karena kepada mereka belum ditransformasikan kewirausahaan dan manajemen usaha. Selain itu, ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Desa Mandalle Kecamatan Bajeng Barat memiliki mind-set dalam pemikiran mereka, bahwa bekerja adalah menjadi kewajiban para suami. Dalam upaya untuk memberdayakan dan meningkatkan penghasilan keluarga, dibutuhkan kerjasama dari pasangan suami dan istri. Salah satunya adalah dengan istri membantu suami berwirausaha. Hanya saja, mereka beranggapan bahwa usaha mandiri atau berwirausaha dalam pandangan mereka adalah sesuatu yang sangat beresiko dan membutuhkan modal besar. Pengabdian Masyarakat yang akan dilakukan adalah dalam bentuk penyuluhan. Penyuluhan dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya memiliki kemampuan entrepreneurship dan manfaat yang bisa di peroleh dari pengembangan kewirausahaan. Kegiatan ini akan diadakan secara terpusat di kantor kelurahan desa Mandalle. Peserta kegiatan adalah ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang telah dipilih dan pemuda karang taruna desa Mandalle yang berjumlah kurang lebih 30 peserta. Target luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini, yaitu: peserta mampu memotivasi diri untuk memiliki jiwa kewirausahaan dan termotivasi memiliki usaha dengan modal yang minim. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah peserta kegiatan masih memiliki kekhawatiran untuk memulai usaha karena terkendala modal. Peserta juga masih belum memiliki keberanian untuk memulai usaha karena khawatir dengan pesaing yang sudah lebih dulu memuali usaha

Abstract

The main objective of this community service program is to provide sewing training that utilizes fabric waste (patchwork) for housewives who have stunted children. Through this training, it is expected that the housewives will not only gain sewing skills but also earn additional income, enabling them to improve their children’s welfare by providing nutritious food to prevent stunting. Several toddlers in Kedungan Village, Pedan Subdistrict, Klaten, are known to be affected by stunting. There are various factors contributing to stunting among these children, one of which is economic limitation. In Kedungan, the majority of mothers of stunted toddlers work full-time to support the family’s economy. As a result, childcare and attention to nutrition are not optimal. This condition is worsened by limited financial resources, which restrict access to nutritious food. Kedungan Village and its surrounding areas are known as centers of small-scale T-shirt and tailor home industries. This home industries produce fabric waste every day, which usually ends up in the trash. Therefore, our Community Service Team provides a solution and contributes through a program aimed at empowering mothers of stunted toddlers by processing fabric waste into handicrafts with economic value. The expected outcome of this community service program is that mothers with stunted toddlers will gain sewing skills and learn to process fabric waste into sellable products, thereby increasing their family income. The methods used in this program include surveys and interviews. The results of this community service program show that the activities ran smoothly. The materials were delivered effectively; participants understood the lessons, actively asked questions, and followed the training according to the instructor’s guidance. The products created by the housewives through this program include doormats, hair scrunchies, bags, and pillowcases. The output of this community service program (PKM) is the marketing of these products through an official website under the brand name “Omah Gombalmu”.

Abstract

Kepuasan user rekam medis elektronik di Rumah Sakit Panti Waluyo Yakkum Surakarta sudah cukup baik tetapi masih terdapat kendala dalam penggunaannya. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi downtime sistem dan maintenance tidak terjadwal yang berpotensi menghambat pelayanan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meninjau tingkat kepuasan user terhadap sistem RME di instalasi rawat inap RS Panti Waluyo Yakkum Surakarta menggunakan metode End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan user masuk dalam kriteria "Puas" untuk empat dimensi, yaitu keakuratan (accuracy) dengan persentase 50%, ketepatan waktu (timeliness) sebesar 45%, isi (content) sebesar 44%, dan kemudahan penggunaan (ease of use) sebesar 39%. Sementara itu, dimensi tampilan (format) mendapatkan tingkat kepuasan dengan kriteria "Cukup Puas" dengan persentase 45%. Kesimpulan, user RME di instalasi rawat inap RS Panti Waluyo Yakkum Surakarta secara umum merasa baik dalam penilaian berdasarkan dimensi isi, keakuratan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan ketepatan waktu. Namun, pada aspek tampilan (format) mendapatkan nilai cukup puas dikarenakan bentuk laporan belum lengkap informasi yang diisi oleh pengguna RME di sistem SIMRS. Kata kunci : EUCS, instalasi rawat inap, kepuasan pengguna, rekam medis elektronik User satisfaction with electronic medical records at Panti Waluyo Yakkum Hospital, Surakarta, is quite good, but there are still obstacles in its use. The obstacles faced include system downtime and unscheduled maintenance that have the potential to hinder patient services. The purpose of this study was to review the level of user satisfaction with the EMR system in the inpatient installation of Panti Waluyo Yakkum Hospital, Surakarta, using the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that the level of user satisfaction fell into the "Satisfied" criteria for four dimensions, namely accuracy with a percentage of 50%, timeliness of 45%, content of 44%, and ease of use of 39%. Meanwhile, the display dimension (format) received a satisfaction level with the criteria of "Quite Satisfied" with a percentage of 45%. In conclusion, RME users at the inpatient unit of Panti Waluyo Yakkum Hospital, Surakarta, generally felt good in the assessment based on the dimensions of content, accuracy, ease of use, and timeliness. However, in the display (format) aspect, the score was quite satisfactory because the report format was incomplete information filled by RME users in the SIMRS system. Abstract

This research seeks to examine how incorporating civic values into multicultural education can promote tolerance and enhance social unity among students at SMPN 4 Ponorogo. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were gathered via in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analyses concerning civics educational practices and school policies that promote citizenship values. The results indicate that the integration of civic values is achieved through three key strategies: (1) the incorporation of citizenship values in teaching that highlights respect for diversity, equal communication, and conflict resolution; (2) the enhancement of an inclusive school environment via collaborative activities among diverse backgrounds that foster empathy and social consciousness; and (3) the establishment of positive social interactions that cultivate solidarity and enhance relationship networks among students. These approaches effectively cultivate accepting mindsets, collaborative abilities, and receptiveness to diversity as vital components of democratic citizenship. The incorporation of multicultural education and civic values greatly enhances the development of a harmonious, democratic, and socially united school atmosphere. The research suggests reinforcing dialogic learning initiatives, improving intercultural partnerships, and creating more structured school policies to guarantee the ongoing internalization of citizenship values.

Abstract

Hydroponics wick system is a hydroponic system by utilizing the wick to absorb water and nutrients by utilizing capillarity power. This axis serves to connect the nutrient solution in the tub with planting medium. This study aims to : (1) determine the effect of the mix AB nutrient on plant growth in hydroponic lettuce; (2) determine the effect of Liquid Organic Fertilizer on plant growth in hydroponic lettuce; (3) the effect of substitution of hydroponic nutrient with a liquid organic fertilizer on plant growth in hydroponic lettuce. This study uses a completely randomized design with 5 treatments and repeated 4 times, resulting in 20 experimental units. The results showed : (1) administration of 5 ml/l A and 5 ml/l B gives the best results in growth of mustard plants; (2) provision of 3 ml/l A and 3 ml/l B + 100 ml/l POC also gave a good response to the growth of mustard plants; (3) administration of 2ml/l A and 2 ml/l B + 150 ml/l POC also gave a good response to the growth of mustard.

Abstract

This study is meant to check out how giving different types of organic fertilizer, like Nutrizim granules, Nutrizim crumb, and liquid rabbit urine, affects the growth and yield of large chili peppers (Capsicum annuum L.). The research method used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with five treatments and four replicates. The study was conducted from late May to early October 2024 in an open field at Pondok Pesantren Bhakti Bapak Emak, Jombang. The results showed that (a) the application of Nutrizim Granule and Crumb fertilizers significantly affected the growth of large chili plants (plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, and stem diameter). However, it did not significantly affect the yield of large chili plants (Total Fruits, Fruit Length, Fruit Diameter, Fruit Weight, Fruit Weight Per Plant, and Fruit Volume). (b) The application of Nutrizim Granular and Crumb Fertilizer combined with liquid rabbit urine organic fertilizer significantly affected the growth of large chili plants (Plant Height, Number Of Leaves, Number Of Branches, And Stem Diameter). However, it did not significantly affect the yield of large chili plants (Total Fruits Per Plant, Fruit Length, Fruit Diameter, Fruit Weight, Fruit Weight Per Plant, And Fruit Volume). Even though, large chili plants treated with the experimental treatments were able to produce a total of 8.46 fruits per plant, fruit length of 7.79 cm per fruit, fruit diameter of 1.05 cm per fruit, fruit weight of 6.00 g per fruit, fruit weight per plant of 47.39 g, and fruit volume of 6.55 ml per fruit.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of various types of synthetic organic fertilizers on the growth and yield of upland water spinach (Ipomoea reptans). The research was conducted in open field conditions using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three treatments: P1: control (urea); P2: Nutrizim granular organic fertilizer; P3: Nutrizim crumb organic fertilizer, each replicated three times. (a) The use of synthetic organic fertilizers had a significant effect on growth parameters, including number of leaves, plant height, and fresh weight of upland water spinach. (b) The plants treated with Nutrizim granular fertilizer produced a fresh weight yield of 36.15 tons/ha, which was not significantly different from the control treatment (47.61 tons/ha), with a yield difference of 11.46 tons between the Nutrizim granular fertilizer and the control. Thus, the use of Nutrizim granular organic fertilizer can support the growth and yield of upland water spinach.

Abstract

Physical changes, health problems and psychology during menopause are the reasons for the high level of anxiety in women. Women who have negative perceptions will have high levels of anxiety about menopause. Many studies have been conducted on menopause, but it is not yet known what variables have been widely analyzed. Objectives, Researchers intend to 1) find out the development of research on anxiety in menopausal women, 2) map the development of research on anxiety in menopausal women. To answer these questions, the bibliometric analysis method uses Vosviewer on secondary data from previous research results. Meta data sources are taken from Google Scholar with the keywords: menopause, description, perception, anxiety. Publis or Perish is used to harvest and screen the desired variables for analysis. The years 2017 to 2023 were selected. 500 published articles of research results have an h index and have been cited, articles are selected from reputable international journals and internationally registered in the international home database. The results found that the development of research related to the topic of anxiety in menopausal women has not receded, but still exists. The complexity of the problems of menopausal women to experience anxiety is very diverse and affects the survival of women. With the presentation of the results of the descriptive analysis, it can be said that research related to menopausal anxiety will continue to increase over time, with various variables that appear in menopausal women. For further researchers, they can continue the study on the variables of the influence of menopausal women's anxiety on women's physical disorders.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan dan menganalisis: bentuk dan makna ritual Bissu, para waria sakti di Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, menggunakan teknik catat, rekam, dan wawancara. Lokasi penelitian ini, yaitu Kecamatan Watampone, Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian akan dilaksanakan selama 12 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa bentuk ritual yang kerap dilaksanakan oleh para Bissu, antara lain maggiri (kebal senjata tajam), massulo/sulo wara (bakar diri), sere wara (berjalan di atas api), dan mattompang arajang (mencuci benda-benda pusaka kerajaan). Setiap ritual tersebut memiliki makna yang sangat mendalam, seperti pernyataan sikap bahwa sebenarnya antara manusia dengan besi, api, dan alam adalah satu (menyatu).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of bilingual education at Semesta Bilingual Boarding School Semarang, focusing on teacher competence, pedagogical challenges faced, and improvement strategies applied. The research method used was a qualitative approach through direct observation and semi-structured interviews with the principal and teachers. The results of the study show that the implementation of bilingual education in this school has been running well and is supported by modern infrastructure such as interactive boards and Chromebooks. Teachers demonstrate strong professional and pedagogical competencies, although there are still variations in English proficiency and the application of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). The main challenges include the uneven linguistic abilities of teachers, the adaptation of new students to the bilingual system, and the suboptimal use of technology. Improvement efforts are carried out through regular training, workshops, seminars, and strengthening the teacher performance monitoring or evaluation system. This study concludes that the success of bilingual education is not only determined by language skills, but also by a continuous teacher professional development system, institutional support, and contextual instructional design. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pendidikan bilingual di Semesta Bilingual Boarding School Semarang, dengan fokus pada kompetensi guru, tantangan pedagogik yang dihadapi, serta strategi peningkatan yang diterapkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan bilingual di sekolah ini telah berjalan dengan baik dan ditunjang oleh infrastruktur modern seperti interactive board dan Chromebook. Guru menunjukkan kompetensi profesional dan pedagogik yang kuat, meskipun masih terdapat variasi dalam penguasaan bahasa Inggris dan penerapan pembelajaran berbasis Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). Tantangan utama meliputi ketidakmerataan kemampuan linguistik guru, adaptasi siswa baru terhadap sistem bilingual, serta pemanfaatan teknologi yang belum optimal. Upaya peningkatan dilakukan melalui pelatihan rutin, workshop, seminar, penguatan sistem monitoring atau evaluasi kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan pendidikan bilingual tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kemampuan bahasa, tetapi juga oleh sistem pengembangan profesional guru yang berkelanjutan, dukungan kelembagaan, dan desain instruksional yang kontekstual.
