Abstract

In an era where Artificial Intelligence is reshaping various sectors, education must evolve to equip students with the skills required to tackle complex future challenges. Mathematics, as a fundamental subject, plays a crucial role in fostering Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), which are essential for problem-solving in diverse real-world contexts. This study investigates student errors in solving HOTS problems on number patterns at SMPN 23 Pekanbaru, utilizing Newman's Error Analysis framework. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through written tests and interviews. The study involved 26 students from class VIII D during the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data analysis was conducted inductively, classifying errors according to Newman's stages. The findings revealed that the most frequent errors occurred during the comprehension stage (69%) and encoding stage (54%), largely due to students' inadequate understanding of number pattern concepts and limited exposure to varied HOTS problems in the classroom. These results highlight the need for a broader range of HOTS problems in mathematics education to better develop students' higher-order thinking abilities. The study recommends that educators diversify problem types, offer guided problem-solving activities, and engage in action research to refine teaching methods and enhance student outcomes.

Abstract

The implementation of GCG can improve company performance, especially financial performance and reduce risks that may be carried out by the Board of Directors to makedecisions that benefit themselves, and in general Corporate Governance can increase investor confidence. Meanwhile, the low implementation of Corporate Governance canreduce the level of investor confidence and can be a factor that prolongs the economic crisis in Indonesia. Healthy business practice is the implementation of organizational functions based on good management principles (good corporate governance) in the context of providing quality and sustainable services. In the phenomenal growth of corporate governance, social power and organizational influence have both contributed to taking responsibility for balancing their own interests. Corporate governance is related to the ways in which financial suppliers to companies ensure that they get returns on investment (Amanah, Dhiana and Fathoni: 2018). A set of mechanisms by which outside investors protect themselves against takeovers by managers and controlling shareholders. The guideline is the company's mechanism for determining which ones should reduce agency costs and better align the interests of the board and capital suppliers (Dimopoulos and Wagner: 2016). Corporategovernance as the system of laws, rules, and factors that control the operations of an organization. These norms and laws have shaped the relationship between the board ofdirectors, shareholders and managers as well as to resolve agency conflicts (Kalemli- Ozcan and Fan: 2016).

Abstract

Background: Maternal and infant health is still one of the issues that receive special attention related to improving the quality of human life in the world. Every hour, one woman dies during childbirth or due to causes related to pregnancy. There are still many pregnant women who are less aware of the importance of examination as an effort to detect pregnancy risk factors. Lack of knowledge and attitude, makes pregnant women less aware of the emergence of symptoms of certain dangerous diseases, either indirectly causing maternal death. Objective: The purpose of the study was to determine the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women after being given education through the Ebumil android application. Methods: The study used a quasi-experimental approach. The sample was 120 pregnant women who were divided into two groups, namely the intervention group (which was given education through the ebumil application and the control group (which was not given education through the ebumil application) using a simple random sampling technique. The research variables were knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women. The research instrument data was a knowledge and attitude questionnaire. The analysis test used was the paired t test. Results: The results of the study showed an increase in knowledge in the intervention group of 80.03 (post 1) and 90.50 (post 2) while the control group did not experience an increase in knowledge of 40.98 (post 1) and 40.50 (post 2). There was an increase in attitudes in the intervention group of 78.16 (post 1) and 90.25 (post 2) while the control group did not experience an increase in attitudes of 42.84 (post 1) and 42.35 (post 2). The results of the paired t test statistical test obtained a p-value of 0.000 <α=0.05, this states that there is an effect of providing education through the application ebumil on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about pregnancy care. Conclusion: The conclusion is that there is an effect of providing education through the ebumil application on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about pregnancy care and there is an increase in the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women after being given education through the ebumil android application. It is hoped that pregnant women can respond and take the best steps in maintaining their pregnancy with the online knowledge that has been obtained. Abstract

Background:Early detection and screening of risk factors among pregnant women are essential efforts to identify potential risks during pregnancy. The impacts of these risks may include miscarriage, obstructed labor, antepartum hemorrhage, stillbirth, pregnancy-related poisoning, premature birth, low birth weight, and maternal mortality. Given the high incidence of risky pregnancies, healthcare workers are unable to identify all cases individually. Therefore, the involvement of the community in detecting pregnancy risks is crucial. A tool is required to allow pregnant women or community members to independently assess pregnancy risks, with results that can be accessed by healthcare workers through the JIHP education application. Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women after receiving education through the JIHP Android application. Method:A quasi-experimental design was used for this study, with a sample of 100 pregnant women divided into two groups: the intervention group (who received education through the JIHP Android application) and the control group (who did not receive education via the ebumil application). Simple random sampling was applied. The study variables were the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women, and data were collected using questionnaires on these two aspects. The Wilcoxon test was used for data analysis. Results:The findings indicated a significant increase in knowledge among the intervention group, from a pre-test score of 81.10 (post 1) to 91.50 (post 2), while the control group showed no increase, with scores of 45.75 (post 1) and 45.50 (post 2). Similarly, attitudes improved in the intervention group, with scores rising from 79.40 (post 1) to 90.25 (post 2). In contrast, the control group showed no change in attitudes, with scores of 45.80 (post 1) and 45.75 (post 2). The Wilcoxon test yielded a p-value of 0.000, which is less than α = 0.05, indicating a significant effect of the education provided through the JIHP application on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women regarding risky pregnancies. Conclusion:The study concludes that education through the JIHP application significantly influences the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about high-risk pregnancies. Furthermore, there was a notable improvement in both knowledge and attitudes following the education intervention. It is expected that pregnant women will be able to apply the online knowledge gained to make informed decisions in managing their pregnancies.   Keywords:knowledge; attitude; Jaga Ibu Hamil Pesisir application

Abstract

This research aims (1) to determine the implementation of the Qira’ah method in Arabic language learning for eleventh-grade students at SMA 3 Negeri Palopo, and (2) to identify efforts to improve Arabic language learning for eleventh-grade students at SMA 3 Negeri Palopo through the Qira’ah Hikayah method. The research procedure was conducted over two cycles, using Kurt Lewin's model, with each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Each cycle comprised two meetings. The data collection methods used were action observation, tests, and field notes. The results of this study show that (1) the steps in implementing the Qira’ah Hikayah in this research are: 1. The researcher presents the material, 2. The researcher asks the students to repeat what has been read, 3. The researcher then asks the students to read the material one by one, 4. The researcher provides questions based on the material read, and 5. The researcher asks the students to submit their answers. The assessment results are calculated by dividing by two (50%). (2) The percentage in cycle I shows that out of 36 students, 3 students completed the tasks, resulting in a percentage of 8.33%, while 33 students did not complete the tasks, accounting for 91.6%. In cycle II, there was an improvement in student learning outcomes, with a percentage of 94.4%. Thus, the increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II was 86.07%. Therefore, in cycle II, the students' reading skills improved, leading to a conclusion of completion

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter mandiri penting dalam pembentukan karakter siswa yang bertanggung jawab terhadap proses dan hasil belajar, sesuai dengan elemen Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang diterapkan melalui Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai karakter mandiri dalam Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada siswa kelas IV-B di SD Negeri 031 Tarakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Informan penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas IVB, guru kelas, dan guru koordinator P5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Subjek S1, dengan tingkat kemandirian tinggi, telah menunjukkan kesadaran diri dan regulasi diri yang baik dalam mengenali potensi, mengelola emosi, dan bertanggung jawab atas pembelajaran. Subjek S2, dengan tingkat kemandirian sedang, memiliki kesadaran diri yang cukup baik namun masih memerlukan bimbingan dalam pengelolaan emosi dan kemandirian. Subjek S3, dengan tingkat kemandirian rendah, masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam mengenali potensi diri dan mengatur emosi. Penerapan nilai karakter mandiri dalam Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada siswa kelas IV-B di SD Negeri 031 Tarakan telah berjalan cukup baik, meskipun masih memerlukan cara peningkatan terutama dalam aspek regulasi emosi dan pengendalian diri siswa. Oleh karena itu, penguatan elemen kesadaran diri dan regulasi diri perlu terus diupayakan untuk mendukung terbentuknya karakter mandiri sesuai dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Implementing an independent curriculum in Indonesia urges teachers to develop learning modules. However, conditions in elementary schools indicate that teachers still need to receive training related to teaching modules following the independent curriculum. Therefore, this study aims to develop a product in the form of a valid and effective STEM-based learning module and Pancasila Student Profile. The type of research is Research & Development (R&D) regarding the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. The developed product was tested on fourth-grade students at one of the elementary school levels. The results of product quality materials are assessed from expert judgment, language, media, and practitioners. The learning module developed obtained an average score of 94.5%, categorized as very feasible. The results of student responsiveness to the learning module obtained an average of 85.5% with an exciting category. The learning module has succeeded in streamlining learning outcomes and student character formation. The implementation of the learning module successfully reflects the character formation of the Pancasila Student Profile in critical reasoning, independence, and cooperation. Thus, in elementary schools, learning is needed that is oriented to the STEM model and efforts in forming the character of the Pancasila Student Profile so that the compiled modules are considered to be used in the learning of fourth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka meningkatkan kapabilitas Bendahara Pengeluaran – Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah (SKPD) dalam menatausahakan pengelolaan keuangan daerah sehingga dapat menjalankan perannya secara profesional, bertanggung jawab dan auditable. Peningkatan kapabilitas yang diperoleh oleh para Bendahara Pengeluaran diharapkan berdampak pada pengelolaan keuangan daerah Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan sehingga dapat berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan ketentuan Undang-Undang, serta diharapkan penatausahaan dan pelaporan yang dijalankan sudah sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Standar Akuntansi Pemerintahan (SAP). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan cara ceramah dan materi tutorial yang dilaksanakan di Perkantoran Pemerintah Daerah Kabupatan Pangkajene dan Kepulauan. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menperlihatkan bahwa para bendahara penerima SKPD berhasil melaksanakan penatausahaan bendahara penerimaan dengan baik sehingga dapat menunjang tugas dan wewenang mereka sebagai bendahara pengeluaran.

Abstract

Produktivitas kerja merupakan suatu kaitan antara output yakni hasil kerja dengan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menghasilkan produk/jasa oleh seorang tenaga kerja. Produktivitas merupakan salah satu ukuran yang sering dipakai, sebuah organisasi tidak akan dapat berkembang apabila produktivitas kerja karyawannya juga tidak mengalami peningkatan apalagi dengan semakin tingginya tingkat persaingan saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengawasan dan kompensasi finansial terhadap produktivitas kerja pada karyawan UPTD Pengelolaan Pendapatan Daerah di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai UPTD PPD Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi berganda diperoleh formulasi Y = -3,892 + 0,435 X1 + 0,625 X2. Hasil penelitian secara parsial variabel pengawasan (X1) dengan nilai sig t (0,001) dan kompensasi finansial (X2) dengan nilai sig t (0,000) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja (Y). Secara simultan variabel pengawasan dan kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja, diperoleh nilai f hitung sebesar 100,694 dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% (0,000 < 0,05). Uji koefisien determinasi dengan nilai R2 sebesar 87,30%, sisanya 12,70% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak masuk dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pengawasan dan kompensasi mempunyai pengaruh dalam peningkatan produktivitas kerja karyawan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan instrumen tes tipe PISA untuk menfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa fase D pada materi statistika. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi, angket respon siswa, serta instrumen tes. Analisis data penelitian meliputi analisis validitas, reliabilitas, serta indeks kesukaran dan daya beda. Metode penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan dengan dua tahapan preliminary dan formative evaluation. Tahapan preliminary melalui 3 kegiatan yaitu: analisis kebutuhan, analisis peserta didik dan analisis kurikulum, sehingga hasil kegiatan ini berupa masalah serta memberikan solusi berupa desain produk awal (prototype) soal yang dikembangkan. Selanjutnya tahapan formative evaluation terdiri dari self evaluation yaitu peneliti melakukan evaluasi terhadap soal yang dikembangkan. Selanjutnya, expert review dengan cara memberikan instrumen tes pada 3 ahli yaitu 3 dosen pendidikan matematika untuk dapat memberikan penilaian terhadap soal yang dikembangkan, sejalan dengan ini dilakukan pengujian terhadap 3 orang siswa dengan kemampuan heterogen untuk memperoleh keterbacaan soal disebut tahap one-to-one, selanjutnya tahap small group, produk diujicobakan pada 6 siswa dengan kemampuan heterogen. Siswa diminta mengerjakan, mengamati, dan memberikan saran serta komentar terhadap soal mengukur KBKM siswa fase D pada materi statistika melalui angket respon siswa. Tahapan terakhir yaitu tahap field test, produk diujicobakan kepada 30 orang siswa sehingga diperoleh soal valid, reliabel serta memiliki daya beda dan indeks kesukaran yang baik.
