Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of an animated video tool for listening materials in teaching Arabic language in the tenth grade at Al-Jihad High School in Buanjin, and to describe the effectiveness of the animated video tool for listening materials in teaching Arabic language in the tenth grade at Al-Jihad High School in Buanjin. This research relies on the ADDIE model, which consists of (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. This research was conducted at Al-Jihad High School in Northern Buanjin by involving 9 respondents from August to September 2022 to determine the feasibility level of the learning tool. The results of this developmental research are: (1) Animated video products that contain educational materials and animations for students and teachers, attractive presentations, and training questions; (2) The feasibility level of the multimedia learning tool based on audiovisual Arabic language for tenth-grade students was rated by media experts with an overall average of 74% in the "Effective" category, by subject matter experts with an overall average of 90% in the "Very Effective" category, individual testing with an overall average of 80% in the "Effective" category, and tests conducted by students with an overall average of 93% in the "Very Effective" category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the animated video tool for learning audiovisual Arabic language that was developed is highly feasible for use with an overall average of 85%. هذا البحث يهدف إلى وصف تطوير وسيلة فيديو الرسوم المتحركة المواد الاستماع في تعليم اللغة العربية في الصف العاشر بالمدرسة العالية الجهاد بوانجين، و وصف فعالية وسيلة فيديو الرسوم المتحركة المواد الاستماع في تعليم اللغة العربية في الصف العاشر بالمدرسة العالية الجهاد بوانجين. يعتمد هذا البحث على نموذج ADDIE وهي عبارة عن (1) التحليل، (2) التصميم، (3) الطوير، (4) التطبيق، و (5) التقييم. تم إجراء هذا البحث في المدرسة العالية الجهاد بوانجين لووو الشمالية من خلال إشراك 9 المدعى عليه في أغسطس إلى سبتمبر 2022 لتحديد مستوى جدوى وسيلة التعلم. نتائج هذا البحث التنموي هي: (1) منتجات فيديو متحركة تجتوي على مواد تعليمية ورسوم متحركة للطلاب والمعلمين و عروص جذابة وأسئلة تدريب (2) حصل مستوى جدو تعلم الوسيلة المتعددة على أساس اللغة العربية السمعي البصري لطلاب الصف عشر بو اسطة خبراء الإعلام على متوسط إجمالي قدره 74% في فئة "فعال"، من قبل خبراء المواد الذين حصلوا على متوسط إجمالي قدره 90% مع "فعال جدا"،" والاختبار من الفردية على متوسط إجمالي قدره 80 وهي " فعال"، وحصلت الاختبارات التي أجراها الطلاب على متوسط إجمالي قدره 93% في فئة " فعال جدا"، لذلك يمكن استنتاج أن وسيلة الفيديو المتحركة لتعلم اللغة العربية السمعية والبصرية التي تم تطويرها مجدية جدًا للاستخدام على متوسط إجمالي قدره 85%

Abstract

The use of educational tools plays a crucial role in the learning process and must be appropriately selected and adapted to students' needs. One such tool is the pop-up book, which can enhance students' interest in learning Arabic by providing unique and engaging visuals. This research aims to: 1) understand the development process of an educational tool based on pop-up books to support Arabic language teaching for tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 7 Luwu Timur, and 2) determine the effectiveness of this pop-up book-based educational tool. Utilizing an R&D research type with a 4D model, the study found that expert validation scores were 98.18% for content (very valid), 96.92% for media (very valid), and 94% for educational aspects (very valid). Small group trials scored 91.2% (highly satisfactory), and large group trials scored 90.12% (highly satisfactory). Thus, the pop-up book is deemed highly effective for teaching Arabic to tenth-grade students. ملخص استخدام الأدوات التعليمية يلعب دورًا حاسمًا في عملية التعلم ويجب اختيارها وتعديلها بشكل مناسب لتلبية احتياجات الطلاب. إحدى هذه الأدوات هي كتاب البوب أب، الذي يمكن أن يعزز اهتمام الطلاب بتعلم اللغة العربية من خلال توفير صور فريدة وجذابة. يهدف هذا البحث إلى: 1) فهم عملية تطوير أداة تعليمية قائمة على كتب البوب أب لدعم تدريس اللغة العربية لطلاب الصف العاشر في المدرسة الثانوية الحكومية 7 لووو الشرقية، و 2) تحديد فعالية هذه الأداة التعليمية القائمة على كتب البوب أب. باستخدام نوع البحث R&D مع نموذج 4D، وجدت الدراسة أن درجات التحقق من الخبراء كانت 98.18% للمحتوى (صحيح جدًا)، 96.92% للوسائط (صحيح جدًا)، و94% للجوانب التعليمية (صحيح جدًا). تجارب المجموعة الصغيرة حصلت على 91.2% (ممتاز جدًا)، وتجارب المجموعة الكبيرة حصلت على 90.12% (ممتاز جدًا). وبالتالي، يعتبر كتاب البوب أب فعالًا للغاية لتدريس اللغة العربية لطلاب الصف العاشر

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning process and students' mathematical problem-solving skills through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The research employed a classroom action research design, conducted over two cycles in collaboration with a mathematics teacher. The subjects were students of class IX B at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Bangkinang Kota during the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Research instruments included mathematical learning tools (syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheets) and data collection tools (observation sheets and mathematical problem-solving tests). Data analysis combined qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive statistical analysis. The results indicate that the implementation of PBL improved both the learning process and students' mathematical problem-solving skills. The average N-gain score increased from 0.42 (medium classification) in cycle I to 0.72 (high classification) in cycle II. Furthermore, the students' average score improved from 63.44 in cycle I to 84.56 in cycle II. These findings conclude that the Problem-Based Learning model effectively enhances the learning process and mathematical problem-solving skills of class IX B students at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Bangkinang Kota.

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills are essential in helping students express, interpret, and solve mathematical problems. However, these skills are often underdeveloped due to a lack of targeted test instruments aligned with relevant mathematical content. This study aims to develop a valid and reliable test instrument to measure mathematical communication skills in the context of three-variable linear equations and two-variable linear inequalities. Using a development research approach with preliminary and formative evaluation stages adapted from Tessmer's model, the instrument was systematically designed, validated, and tested. Data were collected through expert reviews, student responses, and field testing involving 30 participants. Internal validation results indicated a very high validity score (92.80%), while field testing showed that 12 of the 13 developed items were externally valid. The reliability coefficient was 0.80, categorized as very high. The final test set included one easy item, nine medium items, and two difficult items, with discriminating power ranging from sufficient to very good. These findings demonstrate that the developed test instrument is both valid and reliable, and it effectively assesses mathematical communication skills with an appropriate balance of difficulty and item discrimination.

Abstract

Stunting remains a critical issue in Indonesia’s public health development. According to the 2024 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI), the national stunting prevalence stands at 19.8%. Although this marks a decrease from previous years, it still falls short of the 2025 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) target of 14%. One of the major contributing factors to stunting is the lack of maternal knowledge regarding balanced nutrition during early childhood. This study aimed to improve mothers’ understanding of balanced nutrition for infants and toddlers through the use of flipchart media as a strategy to prevent stunting in RW 5, Tamangapa Subdistrict. The intervention involved 30 mothers and employed an educational approach using a pre-test and post-test design. Nutrition education was delivered through flipchart-assisted sessions. The results demonstrated a significant increase in maternal nutrition knowledge, with pre-test scores showing 63.3% of participants in the "poor" category and post-test results indicating 100% in the "good" category. The analysis also revealed significant associations between stunting and both household income and paternal smoking behavior. In conclusion, nutrition education using flipchart media proved to be effective in enhancing maternal knowledge and represents a viable strategy to accelerate stunting reduction at the community level.

Abstract

The 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (UUD 1945) is the highest legal foundation that regulates the structure of government, the rights and obligations of citizens, and the direction of the implementation of national and state life. The body of the 1945 Constitution contains basic principles that reflect the values of Pancasila and the spirit of independence, democracy, and social justice. This article examines in depth the principles contained in the body of the 1945 Constitution, including equality before the law, freedom of religion, human rights, the national cultural system, and national defense. This study uses a literature study method with a normative approach. The results of the study show that the body of the 1945 Constitution is flexible and able to adapt to developments in the era, and is a foundation for realizing a democratic system of government, guaranteeing the constitutional rights of citizens, and strengthening national unity within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the methods and impacts of implementing Islamic religious education based on multicultural values in shaping the character of students at the Hamzar Bayan Health Vocational School. This research is a type of qualitative research, namely a research approach that produces descriptive data in the form of data from observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. The emergence of the idea of a multicultural-based Islamic religious education program in shaping the character of students is highly desired, because so far it has been felt that the educational process has not been successful in developing people with character. It could be that one of the reasons is because education currently focuses more on intellectual or cognitive development alone. Therefore, to realize religious character education for students, schools are needed that do not only pay attention to intellectual or cognitive aspects alone, but also include aspects of soft skills or non-academic as one of the main elements of moral education. Hamzar Bayan Health Vocational School as a vocational high school which is under the auspices of the Marakitta'limat Foundation is considered to be the right place to shape the character of students, through familiarizing students with religious activities which are implemented through daily habits as well as in extra or intra-school activities. This can be seen from multicultural values such as the values of togetherness, diversity and democracy which can be seen in teaching methods, so that it can form students who are not only skilled at working in the health sector but also excel in religious achievements and have good morals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model STAD (student team achievement division) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sukajaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pre-eksperimental designs dengan desain eksperimen Pre-test dan Post-test. Pengambilan sampel ini diambil dari jumlah populasi mengingat populasi hanya ada satu kelas maka populasi merupakan sampel jenuh dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas V berjumlah 18 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan peneliti berbentuk pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 18 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) secara signifikan menuntaskan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sukajaya, yang mendukung hipotesis penelitian. Oleh karena itu, model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) terbukti sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan mendukung hipotesis (6,96) bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sukajaya secara signifikan tuntas setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran ini.

Abstract

Kesehatan lansia merupakan masalah penting yang memerlukan perhatian, terutama dalam menghadapi penyakit degeneratif seperti hipertensi. Hipertensi dikenal sebagai silent killer karena sering tidak menunjukkan gejala awal yang nyata. Berdasarkan data WHO, lebih dari 1,2 miliar orang dewasa di dunia menderita hipertensi, dan sebagian besar berasal dari negara berkembang (WHO, 2023). Di Indonesia, prevalensi hipertensi pada usia di atas 60 tahun mencapai 22,9% menurut Survei Kesehatan Indonesia (SKI) tahun 2023 (Kemenkes RI, 2023). Masalah ini diperparah oleh rendahnya kesadaran lansia dalam melakukan pengobatan rutin dan pemeriksaan kesehatan secara berkala. Kegiatan magang ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan lansia mengenai pencegahan hipertensi melalui penguatan perilaku "CERDIK". Pencapaian tujuan dilakukan melalui edukasi gizi dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, dan penggunaan media dompet edukatif. Setelah pelaksanaan penyuluhan, dilakukan evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan pada lansia setelah intervensi edukasi dilakukan. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini juga didukung oleh partisipasi aktif masyarakat dan kerja sama dengan kader kesehatan setempat. Diharapkan hasil dari kegiatan ini mampu mendorong perubahan yang lebih sehat, khususnya dalam upaya pencegahan hipertensi di kalangan lansia. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam upaya promotif dan preventif terhadap masalah hipertensi pada lansia di Desa Kampung Beru

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to explore the lecturers’ perceptions on the implementation of Content-Based Instruction (CBI) in teaching English for hospitality at Poltekpar Makassar. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with two lecturers and eight students. The results show that the respondents consider CBI as an effective pedagogical strategy, which intertwines language learning with content and makes English instruction more meaningful and transferrable in their future professions within the hospitality industry. CBI also improves language skills along with content knowledge by integrating language instruction into subjects like cooking, customer service and tourism. This method, by engaging students in real-world tasks and practical assignments, fosters contextualized learning, enhances student involvement, and stimulates critical and communicative competence in the learners. Moreover, real-life context and interactive tasks used in class foster more in-depth learning as well as greater student motivation and have increased learners’ confidence to produce in English. Thus, this study underlines CBI as an effective teaching method that equips learners with the language and the profession-relevant skills that are essential in the hospitality industry.
