Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah; mendeskripsikan implementasi, kebijakan, dan dampak dari program Sekolah Ramah Anak ata SRA. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti memilih informan yang berperan dalam terwujudnya SRA di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri atau MTsN Samarinda. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Setelah data terkumpul kemudian peneliti analisis menggunakan Miles, Huberman dan Saldana. Hasil temuan implementasi program SRA di MTsN Samarinda telah berjalan dengan baik, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan berbagai upaya yang telah dilakukan oleh pihak terkait melalui pemenuhan indikator SRA yakni: adanya kebijakan SRA, pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan terlatih konvensi hak anak, proses pembelajaran, sarana dan prasarana, partisipasi anak, dan partisipasi orangtua/wali, alumni, organisasi kemasyarakatan, dan dunia usaha. Selain itu, terdapat dampak positif dari pelaksanaan program SRA yakni, dapat meningkatkan prestasi peserta didik, membentuk karakter peserta didik, memberi pengetahuan tentang responsif gender, dan mampu memberikan kenyamanan, dan keamanan bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of Islamic boarding school recognition on the function of community empowerment in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. Qualitative research method, type of literature study. Data comes from books, journals, laws, government regulations, and other scientific articles. The results obtained are the challenge of Islamic boarding schools in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 is to improve the quality and development of human resources. The function of community empowerment in Islamic boarding schools is to improve the welfare of the Islamic boarding school and the community through human resources development activities, such as training and fieldwork practices, increasing economic strength and potential, implementing social activities, utilizing technology, and other activities according to the capacity of the Islamic boarding school. The role of Islamic boarding school recognition in the implementation of the empowerment function in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, which is to become the legal basis for the implementation of the overall community empowerment function, as well as providing assistance, both facilities and infrastructure, finance, technology, and skills training. Keywords: Islamic Boarding School Recognition; Community Empowerment; Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Character education constitutes putting essential values on students through a set of learning and valuable assistance in such a way that students are able to understand, experience, and integrate core values into their personality. At the same time, such education also embeds a character and promote values to preserve the distinct character when living the daily lives. Applying a model or notion of character does not guarantee that the students would be more creative immediately. However, actually they really need a fundamental concept for building of considerable character. To deal with it, Prophet Muhammad basically has developed a model of good character education in a hadith. This study is a library research with qualitative method. Data were collected by identifying related problems from books or articles through three steps: (1) data recording, (2) data combining, and (3) data analyzing to get the point and then converted into narratives in terms of character education according to the perspective of hadith. This educational model hopefully can change students’ behavior, attitude, and culture to create a civilized community.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low understanding of mathematical concepts at MIN 26 Aceh Besar. Data obtained from 26 students show that 27.88% of students can solve problems with the indicator of restating a concept, 41.35% can solve problems with the indicator of identifying examples and non-examples of a concept, and 30.77% can solve problems with the indicator of identifying objects according to specific properties in line with the concept. The low understanding of these concepts is due to the lack of students' desire to learn the material presented and their failure to pay attention to the material explained by the teacher. This study aims to determine the impact of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach assisted by unit cube props on the conceptual understanding of fifth-grade students at MIN 26 Aceh Besar. This research uses a quantitative method with a true-experimental design. The population in this study comprises all fifth-grade students at MIN 26 Aceh Besar, while the samples are class Va, consisting of 26 students, and class Vb, consisting of 23 students. The instrument used in this research is a test to measure students' conceptual understanding. The data collection technique is a test in the form of a pre-test and post-test. Data analysis techniques include converting ordinal data into interval data using the Method of Successive Intervals (MSI), creating frequency distribution lists, calculating average values, conducting normality tests, homogeneity tests, equality of two means tests, regression tests, and hypothesis tests. Based on the analysis results, the average score obtained in the experimental class pre-test is 12.59 and in the control class is 11.17. Meanwhile, the post-test average score for the experimental class is 18.598, and for the control class, it is 13.672. The analysis results show that t_{calculated} = 9.425 and t_{table} = 1.677; since t_{calculated} > t_{table}, Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted.Keywords: Realistic Mathematics Education, Unit Cube Props

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that the media used in the learning process did not yet exist and only used learning resources from printed books. The results of the researcher's analysis of the printed books used showed that the books only contained descriptions of general material, and the teachers did not connect the material with local wisdom in the area where the students live. The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the design for developing video learning resources based on the local wisdom; (2) to explain the feasibility of learning resource videos based on local wisdom, and (3) to explain the practicality of developing learning resource videos based on the local wisdom. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), using the Alessi and Trollip models. The research results show that the learning resource videos based on local wisdom at MIN 29 Aceh Besar have met the very appropriate category based on the validation results of the material, so a score of 87.5% was obtained and the media validation results obtained a score of 90.8% with the criteria "very feasible". Meanwhile, the practical results of three class teachers obtained scores, namely: the class IV-A teacher scored 100%, the class IV-B teacher scored 100% and the class IV-C teacher scored 100% with the criteria "very worthy". Based on the research results, the video learning resources based on the local wisdom at MIN 29 Aceh Besar are very worthy of further development.

Abstract

This research was mainly based on the number of Minangkabau students who migrated and continued their studies in Yogyakarta so that they required self-adjustment that was different from their place of origin. The purpose of this study is to discover the relationship between social support and self-adjustment among Minangkabau students in Yogyakarta. The null hypothesis states that there is a significant positive relationship between social support and self-adjustment. The higher the social support rises, the higher the individual adjustment makes. The lower the social support obtained, the lower the adjustment will be. The subjects of this study were Minangkabau students in Yogyakarta. The sampling technique in this study used the accidental sampling technique. The method used in this study is quantitative, while the data collection tools used are the social support scale and self-adjustment scale, the data analysis method using analysis prerequisite testing (normality test and linearity test) and hypothesis testing using the correlation of Pearson's product moment with the help of SPSS 23.0 for windows. Based on the research results that have been obtained, it can be seen and concluded that the hypothesis proposed in this study can be accepted, as evidenced by the results of the correlation coefficient of 0.502 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between social support and adjustment to Minangkabau students in Yogyakarta. [Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya mahasiswa Minangkabau yang merantau dan melanjutkan studi mereka di Yogyakarta sehingga membutuhkan suatu penyesuaian diri yang berbeda dengan tempat asalnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan dukungan sosial dengan penyesuaian diri mahasiswa Minangkabau yang berada di Yogyakarta. Hipotesis awal pada penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan penyesuaian diri. Semakin tinggi dukungan sosial maka semakin tinggi pula penyesuaian diri individu. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah dukungan sosial yang didapat maka semakin rendah pula penyesuaian dirinya. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Minangkabau yang ada di Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif sedangkan alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala dukungan sosial dan skala penyesuaian diri, metode analisis data dengan menggunakan pengujian prasyarat analisis (uji normalitas dan uji linearitas) dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan korelasi dari Pearson product moment dengan bantuan SPSS 23.0 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah diperoleh, maka dapat dilihat dan disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima, dibuktikan dengan hasil koefisien korelasinya sebesar 0,502 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan penyesuaian diri pada mahasiswa Minangkabau di Yogyakarta.]

Abstract

The behavior known as "body shaming" is often taken for granted. Many people believe that it is acceptable to comment about other people's bodies and physical appearance; however, they do not understand that their actions can harm another person or contribute to the development of psychological disorders in that person. Each person is unique, and one of the distinguishing characteristics of him/her is his/her freedom to choose his/her own body, including the right to be fat, thin, or any other body type. The purpose of this study was to determine the phenomenon of body shaming among Bimbingan Konseling Islam (BKI) female students of class 2017 at IAIN Surakarta (now UIN Raden Mas Said). This study used a qualitative descriptive technique. The four women who volunteered to participate in the study were all familiar with the idea of shame. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The findings reveal that (1) bullying is similar to body shaming, (2) body shaming can prohibit people from participating in social activities because it makes them feel insecure, and (3) negative responses to body shaming can cause unpleasant sensations. Keywords: Body Shaming, Students of IAIN Surakarta, Phenomenon.

Abstract

Internalization is the unification of attitudes, opinions, and behavior in personality. The purpose of the study was to explore the process of internalizing character education in madrasa culture at MA Raden Rahmat to determine the process of internalizing character education through madrasa culture. The study used a qualitative approach with research design using interviews and direct observation. The results of the research include: character building carried out through madrasa culture to form students who are honest, disciplined, responsible, caring, polite, environmentally friendly, mutual cooperation, cooperation, peace-loving, responsive and pro-active; Madrasa culture at MA Raden Rahmat includes: praying dhuha and dhuhur in congregation, istighasah and tahlil, reading certain surahs of the Qur’an, working with coins, morning apples, fashion crafts. Meanwhile results also showed supporting factors such as good examples are reflected by the teachers, and get appreciation from the community. Whereas the inhibiting factors are the lack of adequate facilities, differences of opinion and views between teachers and students, the psychological condition of children, and the lack of cooperation between teachers and parents. ABSTRAK Internalisasi merupakan penyatuan sikap, pendapat, tingkah laku dalam kepribadian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali proses internalisasi pendidikan karakter dalam budaya madrasah di MA Raden Rahmat Selorejo, Mojowarno, Jombang untuk mengetahui proses internalisasi pendidikan karakter melalui budaya madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desainnya menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi secara langsung. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penanaman karakter yang dilakukan melalui budaya madrasah untuk membentuk siswa yang jujur, disiplin, tanggungjawab, peduli, santun, ramah lingkungan, gotong royong, kerja sama, cinta damai, responsif dan pro-aktif; budaya madrasah di MA Raden Rahmat antara lain: shalat dhuha dan dhuhur berjamaah, istighasah dan tahlil, membaca surat-surat tertentu, giat koin, apel pagi, dan prakarya tata busana. Namun dalam praktek ini terdapat faktor pendukung seperti keteladanan yang baik dicerminkan oleh para guru, dan mendapat apresiasi dari masyarakat. Adapun faktor penghambat yakni kurangnya fasilitas yang memadai, perbedaan pendapat dan pandangan antar guru dan siswa, kondisi psikologis anak, dan kurangnya kerjasama antarguru dan orang tua. Abstract

Orang tua yang hidup dengan tunagrahita secara tidak langsung dapat mempengaruhi perilaku menyimpang pada anak-anak mereka. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pengasuhan yang tidak sempurna. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah dalam rangka: : (1) menginvestigasi peran stakeholder dalam membina karakter anak dari keluarga dengan tunagrahita di Desa Karangpatihan, Balong, Ponorogo, Jawa Timur; (2) meninvestarisir perkembangan karakter agama pada anak dari keluarga dengan tunagrahita di Desa Karangpatihan, Balong, Ponorogo. Studi ini memanfaatkan metode kualitatif yaitu studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis dengan teknik analisis interaktif. Hasil studi ini adalah perubahan peran stakeholder dikenali melalui perkembangan psikologis anak yang berasal dari keluarga dengan tunagrahita. Tandanya adalah mereka berlaku sopan terhadap sesama, terutama yang senior. Penyediaan sarana telah difasilitasi oleh kepala desa, sehingga ada perubahan positive pada anak tunagrahita, seperti disiplin, mandiri, jujur, hormat, dan santun berbicara serta berperilaku, kasih sayang, peduli, percaya diri, baik dan rendah hati, serta toleransi. Perubahan yang diperoleh oleh anak-anak dari keluarga dengan tunagrahita dalam kategori tinggi adalah sekitar delapan anak dan sekitar empat anak dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

Moral degradation that currently occurs in students, especially at the elementary school level. Character education in the realm of education in the level of elementary school is very important to instill because basic education is the beginning of the application of morals in human life. Character education from the hadith perspective in mathematics subjects in elementary schools is believed to contribute in the academic realm in character improvement. The purpose of this study is to examine character education in the perspective of hadith in elementary school. Method used in this study is library research where the primary source of information and data is documents, such as relevant journals and books. Based on the literature review collected, it was found that the absolute source of knowledge is the Qur’an and hadith. In both sources, there is no dichotomy of knowledge. The results showed that character education from the hadith perspective in mathematics subjects in elementary schools using LKPD was valid, practical, and effective.
