The data shows that students' perceptions of the use of Google Translate in translation are positive, also that Google Translate provides many benefits, for example, students can translate faster and complete their assignments. Although there are still weaknesses in the translation results with Google Translate, Google Translate can save time in translating Arabic materials.

Abstract

This article was created to see the burdens experienced by two wives of former Solo Terrorist Network convicts, ranging from economic burdens to mental burdens due to facing stigma from society. The Solo terrorist network is the largest terrorist network in Indonesia, almost every terrorist act in Indonesia is connected to the Solo terrorist network. The data source used is primary data in the form of interviews with the wives of ex-convicts. So far, studies on the Solo terrorist network have focused on the perpetrators, who were all men. However, no one has yet discussed the victim of the terrorist act, namely the wife of the former Solo network terrorist perpetrator. The results of this research show that the wife of an ex-convict experiences multiple burdens but must be forced to be strong because she has to be both father and mother to her children, she also inevitably has to be able to heal the mental wounds on herself and her children.

Abstract

This research takes the topic of social capital in selecting Al-Quran reading methods in Dukuhseti Village. In society, there are many types of Al-Qur'an learning methods that are very familiar, including: the Iqro', Ummi, Qiro'ati, Yanbu'a, Bahdadi, al-Karim methods and so on. In Dukuhseti Village, there are two methods used by the local community in the process of learning the Al-Qur'an, namely the Yanbu'a and Qiro'ati methods. With the development of the times, differences in views emerged in the local community towards these two methods which ultimately had an impact on the emergence of gaps between communities regarding each method of learning the Al-Qur'an. In general, both methods have similarities that offer ease and fluency in reading the Koran. This research aims to find out why in the Dukuhseti Village community the use of two Al-Qur'an learning methods emerged, namely Yanbu'a and Qiro'ati. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data, data reduction, data presentation, data verification and conclusion drawing are carried out. The theory used in this research is the theory of social capital (trust, norms and networks) proposed by Robert D. Putnam. The results of this research indicate that the social capital that influences the community in Dukuhseti Village in using Al-Qur'an learning methods is that the community's trust in learning institutions can increase students' interest in learning the Al-Qur'an. Then, people choose the Yanbu'a and Qiro'ati methods based on the influence of the surrounding environment. It's like there are non-binding regulations in the community to make it mandatory to register their children to study in the Yanbu'a and Qiro'ati methods.

Abstract

As a group who are considered weak, it is not surprising that the cases of violence against women tend to happen repeatedly in Indonesia. Although there are a plethora of violence such as physical violence, psychological violence, sexual violence, and economic violence, these days physical violence remains the number one case in society. Generally economic violence is completely an invisible form of violence in society. This is essentially deemed a small matter, in which one of the causes is the concept of authoritarianism embedded in society. This study aims to investigate the forms of economic violence frequently experienced by women and its impact on women’s mental health. A qualitative method was employed with a case study approach. A purposive sampling was presented in this study with the sample consisting of two people. The findings showed that there are several varieties of economic violence against women such as inhibiting the development of women’s career, taking women’s financial well-being without permission, controlling family assets strictly, and obligating women to create a financial report. In addition, this violence has a significant deteriorating effect on women's mental health including frustration, conflict, fright, stress, and threats. As the last point, it was found that there is a relevance between economic violence and other types of violence
