Abstract

Penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran sangat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Media konkret khususnya menarik minat siswa, membuat pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan, dan meningkatkan motivasi serta pemahaman materi. Observasi di UPT SPF SD Negeri Bawakaraeng III, khususnya di kelas I, menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa dalam penjumlahan dan pengurangan masih rendah, terlihat dari ulangan harian yang kurang memuaskan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek siswa kelas IB sebanyak 21 siswa pada tahun 2024. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui siklus, dimulai dengan identifikasi masalah, perencanaan alternatif solusi, dan pelaksanaan tindakan pembelajaran sesuai kurikulum. Pada siklus II, observasi menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas siswa dengan media konkret, dengan hasil 91%. Dari 18 kegiatan, 6 mendapat skor 3 dan sisanya skor 4, total 66 poin, yang setara dengan 91% dari skor maksimal, tergolong "baik sekali". Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media konkret meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa masih rendah, namun pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata meningkat dan tergolong "baik sekali".

Abstract

Pendidikan matematika di sekolah dasar memegang peran penting dalam membentuk dasar kemampuan berpikir logis dan kritis bagi siswa. Pada kelas III, siswa mulai mempelajari konsep-konsep matematika yang lebih kompleks, seperti operasi hitung dasar, pengukuran, dan geometri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan PBL dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas III di sekolah dasar, serta mengetahui dampak penerapan model ini terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan PTK yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi.  Teknik Analisis Data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari sepuluh siswa pada siklus pertama, empat orang memperoleh nilai di atas KKM (atau 40%), sedangkan enam orang memperoleh nilai di bawah KKM (atau 60%). Dari siswa siklus kedua, 80% siswa melampaui dan melampaui KKM, sementara 20% siswa tidak mencapainya. Siswa kelas tiga di UPT SPF SDN Kompleks IKIP1 Makassar mengalami peningkatan prestasi akademik, menurut laporan tersebut. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas tiga di UPT SPF SDN Kompleks IKIP1 Makassar memperoleh manfaat dari strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL) ketika mempelajari matematika

Abstract

The rapid development of educational technology has brought significant changes to science learning, primarily by integrating virtual laboratories. These tools provide interactive and student-centered experiences that are more accessible than conventional labs. This study explores the importance of PhET-based virtual labs in enhancing students' understanding of energy and work concepts in a Basic Science Concepts course, emphasizing their relevance in modern, inquiry-based science education. This research analyzes university students’ perceptions of the usability and quality of PhET simulations used in the course. Using a quantitative survey method, data were collected from 161 randomly selected university students through a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results show an overall satisfaction rate of 71.68%, indicating a positive response categorized as "good." Students particularly appreciated the user-friendly interface and dynamic visualizations that encouraged independent exploration and more profound comprehension of abstract concepts. The study concludes that PhET-based virtual labs are practical supplementary tools in science education. Despite limitations such as reliance on self-reported data and short-term evaluation, the findings highlight the potential of virtual labs to enhance conceptual learning. Future research should investigate long-term learning outcomes and compare virtual, traditional, and blended learning environments to optimize instructional strategies.

Abstract

Peningkatan pengetahuan guru merupakan bagian dari pengembangan kapasitasnya dalam pembelajaran. Guru SMP Negeri 2 di Kabupaten Majene menjadi sasaran Program Kemitraaan Masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan pada pelatihan ini ada dua yakni kegiatan edukasi denga metode ceramah tentang cara pembuatan media pembelajaran. Tahap kedua yakni pelatihan pembuatan bahan ajar dengan menggunakan materi atau dokumentasi tentang permasalahan lingkungan yang terjadi disekitarnya. Fokus materi yang diberikan adalah pembuatan bahan ajar dengan menggunakan aplikasi canva. Sebanyak 25 guru yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini. Hasil program ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam membuat bahan ajar dengan tema permasalahan lingkungan yang ada disekitarnya.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of the Discovery Learning model on the environmental literacy of students in the Primary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD) at the Faculty of Education (FIP), Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM). Utilizing an experimental quantitative approach, the study evaluates changes in students’ understanding and skills before and after the implementation of a learning model focused on discovery and exploration. The results indicate a significant increase in the average scores from pretest to posttest, as evidenced by descriptive statistical analysis and confirmed through a T-test with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of less than 0.05. These findings affirm that the Discovery Learning model is effective in enhancing students’ environmental literacy, which encompasses not only theoretical knowledge but also critical, analytical, and reflective thinking skills. The practical implications of this research recommend the integration of the Discovery Learning model into the environmental education curriculum, suggesting a more interactive and student-centered learning approach, and highlighting the importance of continuous education and lifelong learning.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe and interpret the Analysis of the Implementation of the School Health Triad (UKS) and Adiwiyata in five elementary schools in Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency. The purposive sampling method was used to select schools, and data was collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation. This research focuses on the evaluation of the implementation and Adiwiyata based on the participation of students, parents, health agencies, teachers, and school staff. The results show that although efforts have been made, the implementation has not been optimal due to constraints such as lack of space facilities and lack of health education. Health services are still limited to activities from the health center without the active involvement of teachers. Meanwhile, the Adiwiyata program has not been fully integrated into the curriculum, but reforestation activities have been carried out with the participation of school residents and the local government. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive techniques that include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, by ensuring the validity of the data through triangulation methods. This study concludes that efforts for the implementation of UKS and Adiwiyata have been made, but it is still necessary to solve several obstacles to improve health and the environment in schools, such as the separation of the UKS room from other rooms is needed to be more effective, training and coaching for Supervisors is also important so that in the implementation of health counseling, the involvement of the health center is not always needed, in addition, The school is expected to become an Adiwiyata school, because the implementation is almost similar

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education focusing on environmental awareness at SD Inp. Tappanjeng, identify the challenges faced, and explore efforts to overcome these challenges through the application of a green school concept. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with primary data obtained from interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as secondary data from related documents. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis following the steps of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested using source and technique triangulation. The results of the study show that character education on environmental awareness is implemented through curriculum development, integration across all subjects, school culture, learning processes, and school health programs. The main challenges encountered include the low level of environmental awareness among students at home due to a lack of education from parents and insufficient support and practical examples from them. Efforts to address these challenges include routine discussion programs and parental involvement in school activities such as cleanliness competitions, recycling, and tree planting. Collaboration between the school and families has been effective in enhancing students' environmental awareness, emphasizing the importance of synergy between education at school and at home.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the overview of the utilization of the Teacher and Education Personnel Space Platform (GTK) and teacher motivation in elementary schools in the Turikale district, Maros regency. It also seeks to determine the description of the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers in Turikale district, Maros regency. Additionally, it aims to assess whether there is an influence of the utilization of the Teacher and Education Personnel Platform (GTK) and teacher motivation on the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers in Turikale district, Maros regency. The results of this study indicate that 1) The utilization of the Teacher and Education Personnel Platform (GTK) and teacher motivation is consistently aligned with all indicators of its utilization within the favorable category group. 2) The pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers in Turikale district, Maros regency consistently falls within the dominant high category. 3) Based on data analysis, it is found that the value of The influence of the utilization of the Ruang Guru Platform and Educators (GTK) and teacher motivation on the Pedagogical Competence of Elementary School Teachers in the Turikale District of Maros Regency is indicated by a value of 6.317 with a significance level of 0.004, showing that there is a significant influence among the three variables in this study. This difference is also supported by the results of the hypothesis test, where the significance value of 0.004 < 0.05 indicates that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. There is an influence of the utilization of the Ruang Guru Platform and Educators (GTK) and teacher motivation on the Pedagogical Competence of Elementary School Teachers in the Turikale District of Maros Regency.

Abstract

Sasaran dari studi kasus ini adalah untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan metode Resource-Based Learning (RBL) pada materi pembelajaran IPA Pengetahuan Lingkungan kelas V UPT SPF SDN Mangkura Kota V Makassar (2) Mendeskripsikan siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan menerapkan Resource-Based Learning (RBL) ), Model Pembelajaran berbasisi Sumber daya (3). Membuktikan pengaruh perubahan pemahaman siswa selama proses pembelajaran dalam konteks ilmu pengetahuan lingkungan. Studi ini merupakan jenis studi kuanatitatif dengan rancangan penelitian pra-eksperimental berskema kelompok pre-test post-test. Sebanyak 36 siswa menjadi sampel dalam prosedur pengambilan data dimana strategi yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis inferensial dan teknik analisis deskriptif adalah strategi analisis data yang akan diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menampilkan pencapaian awal siswa (pre-test) rata-rata berada pada tingkat kurang dan meningkat setelah diberikan perlakuan (post-test) rata-rata berada pada tingkat baik. Dari hasil uji statistik diketahui terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan lingkungan hidup siswa kelas V di UPT SPF SDN Mangkura V Kota Makassar antara sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan metode pembelajaran berbasis sumber daya. Kesimpulannya pembelajaran berbasis sumber daya, Resource-Based Learning (RBL) berdampak terhadap pengetahuan siswa tentang ilmu lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the experience of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students in field lecture activities in the mangrove forest ecosystem of Mamampa Tourism Village, Ujungloe District, Bulukumba Regency. This activity is part of the Environmental Education (PLH) course and integrates ecosystem learning and community service. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through field observations, student reflective journals, documentation, and in-depth interviews with students, lecturers, and various local stakeholders (village heads, tourist visitors, managers, tourism agencies, and NGOs). The results of the study show that hands-on experience in the field forms a more contextual understanding of the concept of ecosystems and increases students' environmental awareness, especially in terms of waste management and mangrove conservation. This study recommends a wider integration of nature-based learning in the PGSD curriculum.
