Abstract

Abstrak. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas perempuan pesisir dalam mengolah limbah laut menjadi produk kerajinan yang bernilai ekonomi dan ramah lingkungan, melalui program pelatihan eco-craft berbasis partisipatif. Program ini dilaksanakan di Desa Laikang, Kabupaten Takalar, Sulawesi Selatan, dengan melibatkan kelompok ibu-ibu PKK sebagai mitra utama. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi lima tahapan utama, yakni sosialisasi dan identifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan teknis pembuatan produk eco-craft dari cangkang kerang, sisik ikan, dan kayu laut. Program ini memberikan dampak sosial-ekonomi dan ekologis yang nyata, dengan terciptanya komunitas usaha berbasis perempuan, meningkatnya literasi lingkungan, dan berkembangnya inovasi lokal yang berkelanjutan, Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan agar model ini direplikasi di daerah pesisir lain dengan dukungan kebijakan dan kolaborasi lintas sektor.Kata kunci: Eco-craft, Pemberdayaan Perempuan, Kerajinan pesisir, Pengabdian Masyarakat.

Abstract

Abstrak. Perubahan iklim menimbulkan tantangan signifikan bagi sektor pertanian di Sulawesi Selatan, khususnya di daerah irigasi Saddang yang menjadi sentra produksi padi utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kapasitas adaptasi petani terhadap perubahan iklim melalui penerapan Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA). Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods) dengan survei terhadap 150 petani, wawancara mendalam, dan observasi lapangan di empat kecamatan dalam kawasan irigasi Saddang. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif, statistik inferensial, dan triangulasi tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penerapan CSA masih berada pada kategori moderat, dengan variasi antar wilayah tergantung pada ketersediaan infrastruktur irigasi, dukungan kelembagaan, dan akses informasi iklim. Faktor penentu kapasitas adaptasi meliputi pendidikan, pengalaman bertani, keanggotaan kelompok tani, serta dukungan pemerintah daerah dan penyuluh pertanian. Di sisi lain, keterbatasan modal dan ketergantungan terhadap input eksternal menjadi kendala utama. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kelembagaan lokal, peningkatan literasi iklim, dan integrasi kebijakan adaptasi berbasis komunitas untuk memperkuat ketahanan petani menghadapi perubahan iklim. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pengembangan strategi CSA berbasis konteks lokal yang relevan bagi perencanaan pembangunan pertanian berkelanjutan di wilayah irigasi Sulawesi Selatan.Kata Kunci: Climate Smart Agriculture, kapasitas adaptasi, perubahan iklim, petani, daerah irigasi Saddang, Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat peran guru madrasah ibtidaiyah sebagai agen perubahan berwawasan pendidikan lingkungan. Program ini berupaya meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kepedulian lingkungan ke dalam proses pembelajaran melalui pelatihan pembuatan eco-enzyme sebagai media yang mendukung pengelolaan limbah organik. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap utama: (1) analisis kebutuhan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat pemahaman awal guru; (2) pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam proses pembuatan eco-enzyme; dan (3) tahap implementasi dan evaluasi untuk menilai efektivitas kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan konsep pendidikan lingkungan, yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan nilai dari pre-test sebesar 44,4% menjadi 55,6% pada post-test. Peningkatan tersebut mengindikasikan efektivitas kegiatan dalam memperkuat kompetensi pedagogis dan kesadaran ekologis guru. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada penguatan peran guru sebagai agen perubahan dalam mewujudkan sekolah berwawasan lingkungan dan diharapkan dapat menjadi model praktik baik (best practice) pendidikan lingkungan berbasis partisipasi guru di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Increasing population density in Indonesia, unmanaged urbanization, and climate change have created ideal conditions for the proliferation of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. Controlling the Aedes sp. mosquito population is not only a health issue, but also a complex ecological and social issue, requiring an integrated strategy involving science, technology, and public education. This study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) that aims to examine educational strategies, their roles, and future development directions for Aedes sp. control. The study was conducted following PRISMA guidelines using the Scopus database for the period 2015–2025. A total of 30 articles were identified, 18 of which met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed thematically to identify patterns, effectiveness, and contributions of educational strategies to changes in people's ecological behavior. The results of the study indicate that school-based educational strategies, community training, public campaigns, and citizen science approaches play a significant role in increasing environmental literacy, social participation, and individual and group ecological responsibility. The integration of local culture and sustainable education policies strengthen the program's success by ensuring broader social acceptance. Existing research remains fragmented and has not fully integrated the dimensions of education, ecology, and public health. Therefore, future research is recommended to develop a transdisciplinary approach through collaboration between educational institutions, government, and local communities to create an adaptive, evidence-based, and sustainable vector control system.

Abstract

The burden of disease related to environmental conditions remains high in many communities, making improving environmental literacy a crucial prevention strategy. This study, conducted a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of the Scopus database (2015–2025), aimed to identify educational interventions used to improve environmental literacy in the community, as well as factors supporting and inhibiting their effectiveness. A selection process yielded 17 articles for analysis. Results indicate that community-based interventions, including face-to-face counseling, health cadre training, community digital education, citizen participation in environmental monitoring, and culture-based education, often contribute to increased knowledge, awareness, and practice of disease prevention. The success of these interventions is influenced by community trust in information sources, self-efficacy, the availability of environmental facilities (trash cans, clean water, sanitation), and local leadership. Conversely, skepticism, the normalization of unhealthy behaviors, fatalism, limited infrastructure, and leadership conflict are key barriers. This study confirms that environmental literacy alone does not guarantee behavioral change without social and structural support. Future research recommendations include quasi-experimental research, long-term impact evaluations, and comparative studies across cultural contexts to strengthen evidence for implementation.

Abstract

The implementation of Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum requires teachers to adapt to more flexible, student-centered, and competency-based learning approaches. However, teacher readiness remains a major challenge, particularly in non-urban contexts, where limited professional capacity may hinder effective curriculum enactment. This study employed a quantitative, cross-sectional survey design to examine factors influencing teacher readiness for Merdeka Curriculum implementation in public elementary schools in Rilau Ale Subdistrict, Bulukumba Regency. A total of 109 teachers were randomly selected from 25 schools. Data were collected using a validated Likert-scale questionnaire, with reliability coefficients exceeding 0.80 (Cronbach’s alpha). Descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analyses were used to analyze the data. The findings indicate that teachers’ understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum predominantly falls within low-to-moderate and very low categories, while preparedness in developing instructional materials is largely moderate. Assessment and evaluation competence emerged as the weakest dimension of readiness. Multiple regression analysis revealed that curriculum understanding, instructional material preparation, and assessment competence jointly had a significant effect on teacher readiness (R² = 0.368, p 0.001). These results suggest that teacher readiness is shaped by interconnected cognitive and instructional capacities, while a substantial proportion of variance is influenced by contextual factors beyond the scope of this study. The findings highlight the need for targeted professional development, particularly in assessment literacy and instructional design, to support effective Merdeka Curriculum implementation in non-urban educational settings.

Abstract

This research aims to increase the technical capacity and environmental care attitude of laboratory assistants of the PGSD FIP UNM Department through the use of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technology. The background of this research is based on the importance of awareness and environmentally friendly behavior in sustainable laboratory management, as well as the need for innovative technology-based learning approaches to support such behavior change. The method used was an experiment with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, which involved 30 laboratory assistant respondents. The research instruments were in the form of questionnaires, observations, and knowledge tests. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test to determine significant changes before and after treatment. The results showed that the use of AR and VR significantly increased technical capacity and formed an attitude of caring for the environment, shown by the classical average score of 4.38 on a scale of 5 and the dominant mode on a scale of 5. These findings support the use of immersive technology as an interactive, realistic, and positive learning media in building an academic culture that cares about environmental sustainability

Abstract

This study aimed to explore whether the Index Card Match learning model could boost student engagement in science lessons for fourth-grade pupils at UPT SDN 83 Mangindara. We took a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on how the model was applied and its impact on student activities. The research happened at UPT SDN 83 Mangindara in Takalar Regency during the 2024/2025 school year, involving 22 fourth-grade students 7 girls and 15 boys. Data came from observations, tests, and documentation, analyzed through qualitative descriptive methods. The findings showed that using the Index Card Match model in science classes did enhance student learning activities at UPT SDN 83 Mangindara. In Cycle I, activities were low in the first meeting (categorized as "Less" or K) and stayed that way in the second. But by Cycle II, things improved: the first meeting hit "Enough" (C), and the second reached "Good" (B). Meanwhile, the teacher's performance was solid from the start, rated "Good" (B) in both meetings of Cycle I, and it held steady at that level through both meetings in Cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan PKM pelatihan asesmen berorientasi 21th Century Learning Design (21CLD) pada implemengtasi kurikulum merdeka untuk guru sekolah dasar. Tujuannya yaitu sebagai upaya pengotimalan dan pengendalian mutu penilaian di Sekolah Dasar khususnya bagi sekolah-sekolah yang sudah menerapkan kurikulum Merdeka. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat (pkm) ini dilaksanakan dengan 3 tahapan utama, yakni pendahuluan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi (hasil). Pendahuluan dilakukan dengan pendekatan dan sosialisasi untuk menjalin Kerjasama dengan pihak mitra (KKG). Pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan guru. Pelatihan secara langsung dilaksanakan dengan pemberian materi pelatihan secara bertahap untuk selanjutnya dilakukan pendampingan melalui grup WA. Hasil yang diperoleh Pertama, seluruh aspek kompetensi memiliki nilai p > 0.05, menunjukkan bahwa varians data pre-test dan post-test dapat dianggap homogen. Kedua, Nilai normalized gain menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada semua aspek kompetensi, dengan kisaran G antara 0.56 hingga 0.68. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan efektif dalam membantu guru meningkatkan kemampuan mereka mengembangkan asesmen yang berorientasi pada pembelajaran abad ke-21 sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya berupa pengembangan kegiatan yang berkelanjutan, pendampingan pasca pelatihan, penerapan pada tingkat sekolah yang lebih luar, melakukan penelitian lanjutan yang mengukur dampak asesmen abad ke-21.

Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the essential competencies in physics education because it enables students to analyze phenomena, evaluate evidence, and draw logical conclusions in scientific learning. However, students’ critical thinking skills in physics remain relatively low, partly because instructional practices are still often dominated by single-method and teacher-centered approaches. This study aimed to develop and evaluate a multi-methods discovery-learning strategy to enhance senior high school students’ critical thinking skills in physics. The study employed a research and development approach using the ASSURE instructional design model, followed by a quasi-experimental posttest-only control group design. The participants were 64 eleventh-grade students in the physics specialization program at a public senior high school in Majene, Indonesia, divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 32 students in each class. The instruments included expert validation sheets, a learning implementation observation sheet, teacher and student response questionnaires, and a critical thinking skills test. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, Aiken’s V, and an independent samples t-test with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results showed that the developed strategy met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Expert judgment indicated that the learning materials and instruments were valid, while teacher and student responses confirmed the strategy's practicality. Furthermore, the t-test results revealed a statistically significant difference in critical thinking scores between the experimental and control groups. The novelty of this study lies in the systematic integration of expository, practicum, trial, and simple research methods within a structured discovery learning framework. In conclusion, the multi-methods discovery learning strategy is effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills. It makes a meaningful contribution to physics education by providing an integrative, student-centered instructional approach.
