Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid economic growth in Indonesia. To develop business in the modern era, companies must be able to compete in the business world. This research aims to understand how skills, work discipline and work environment influence employee productivity. The population of this study are employees of a Korean company located in Bekasi Regency and producing bicycle tires, with a population of 2,700 employees in 2022. However, this research focuses on the group B tire building section which consists of 82 employees in 2022. Research reveals that skills, work environment and work discipline provide a positive influence and significant increase in employee productivity. In other words, improving skills, work discipline and a conducive work environment can increase productivity in the company

Abstract

This study continues the previous practical work, emphasizing the importance of machine maintenance, problem improvement, and production facility maintenance to maintain quality and productivity. The maintenance team aims to find the right system to reduce machine breakdowns and maintenance costs. Automation, such as the Automated Packing Line, was chosen to optimize production with minimal labor. This study analyzes the effectiveness of automation machines in the Packing Line area and evaluates the role of labor in continuous improvements to calculate Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Results show that the OEE of the traying machine in the Automated Packing Line is 79%, still below the standard of 85%. After improvements were made, the OEE value increased to 87%

Abstract

XYZ adalah salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak pada bidang otomotif di Indonesia, produk yang dihasilkan adalah produk Engine Valve pada kendaraan mobil. Engine Valve adalah salah produk bagian dari mesin yang berfungsi sebagai katup masuk dan buang pada sistem mekanisme atas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa bagaiman cara mengurangi produk cacat pada produk Engine Valve di PT. XYZ. Dengan menerapkan metode Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA). Pada Tahap Plan, dilakukan perencanaan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis defect yang paling dominan pada produk Engine Valve dan mencari akar penyebabnya. Melalui Diagram Paretto, lima jenis defect dominan diidentifikasi, penelitian fokus memperbaiki jenis defect pemotongan tidak rata yang paling dominan. Diagram Fishbone digunakan untuk mencari faktor-faktor penyebab defect tersebut. Pada tahap Do, setelah mengetahui penyebab defect, ditetapkan sasaran perbaikan dan tujuan tindakan. Identifikasi produk cacat dilakukan dengan bantuan tools 5W+1H. Tahap Check melibatkan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut menggunakan Failure Mode Effect and Analysis (FMEA), yang menghasilkan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) tertinggi pada posisi jig berubah, tekanan angin tidak stabil, dan cacat pada material proses forging. Tindakan yang direkomendasikan mencakup usulan pembuatan checksheet khusus untuk pengontrolan jig dan tekanan angin mesin CNC. Pada tahap Action, dilakukan pengendalian kualitas dengan memberikan usulan monitoring dan pengukuran kinerja karyawan. Tingkat kualitas produk dievaluasi melalui pengecekan dengan menggunakan checksheet, dengan peninjauan pada proses pemeriksaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis terkait kualitas pelayanan di Perusahaan Umum Daerah (Perumda) Tirta Bhagasasi KCP Bojongmangu. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang diambil dengan mewawancarai 12 orang informan pelanggan dan kepala cabang Perumda Bojongmangu, kemudian dilakukan proses analisis. Berdasarkan lima indikator yang digunakan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa, 1) indikator reliability: petugas Perumda Bojongmangu sudah memiliki kemampuan dan keahlian dalam menggunakan teknologi serta prosedur pelayanan yang mudah; 2) indikator responsiveness, petugas dalam pelayanan masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi khusunya kecepatan penanganan kerusakan pada pipa; 3) indikator assurance, Perumda Bojongmangu memberikan jaminan dengan cara menjaga K3 yaitu kualitas, kuantitas, dan kontinuitas distribusi air bersih; 4) indikator empathy, kondisi demografi daerah Bojongmangu menjadi kendala pendistribusian air yang merata; dan 5) indikator tangibles, para pelanggan berharap pihak Perumda dapat menggunakan pipa dengan kualitas yang lebih baik lagi. Dari kelima indikator pelayanan tersebut dikatakan bahwa semuanya perlu dilakukan peningkatan lagi dan dilakuan proses peninjauan ulang kembali agar kepuasan pelanggan lebih meningkat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and benefits of mobile banking in reducing customer queues from an operational management perspective at Bank XYZ. The research employed a qualitative approach using interviews and descriptive techniques. The results indicated that six frontliners agreed mobile banking effectively reduces queue volume. This is supported by the increasing number of users utilizing the application for various transactions such as fund transfers, cash withdrawals, and bill payments. Additional benefits include improved employee efficiency and reduced operational costs. For customers, mobile banking offers convenience by allowing transactions anytime and anywhere without visiting a bank branch.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) teaching model employed by religious education lecturers at Pelita Bangsa University. Integrating STEM in religious education is expected to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the practical application of knowledge in both professional and everyday contexts. A qualitative research design was used, with data collected through interviews and surveys distributed via Google Forms. Data analysis involved four stages: data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The study sample consisted of 13 religious education lecturers from the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program at Pelita Bangsa University, all of whom taught Islamic religious education courses. The findings indicated a marked improvement in students' critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, particularly in their ability to apply technology during the learning process. Furthermore, all survey responses related to lecturers' preparedness and competence in implementing the STEM model showed consistently high ratings. The results suggest that integrating STEM into religious education enhances students' cognitive abilities and technological skills. The high competence and preparedness of the lecturers further support the effectiveness of this approach. This research highlights the potential of STEM-based learning in religious education and emphasizes the importance of lecturer readiness in its successful implementation. The STEM teaching model proves effective in improving students' thinking and problem-solving abilities in religious education at Pelita Bangsa University. The high levels of lecturer competence and preparedness further strengthen the implementation of this approach.

Abstract

The FMCG manufacturing industry faces complex challenges in the supply chain, where supplier performance evaluation is a crucial factor in maintaining production continuity. PT XYZ currently conducts supplier evaluations in a general manner without considering specific segmentation, making it less effective in identifying strategic suppliers and managing risks. The Purchasing portfolio matrix classifies raw materials into strategic, leverage, bottleneck and non-critical groups based on supply risk and profit impact. Meanwhile, the Supplier Potential Matrix (SPM) adds the dimensions of supplier capability and willingness in innovation and collaboration. The combination of these two methods can enhance the effectiveness of supplier evaluation, support procurement strategies, and ensure more optimal business relationships. The weighting of each criterion will be carried out using the Best-Worst Method. Next, the scoring process is conducted based on 13 agreed criteria for each evaluated supplier, totaling 148 suppliers. The results of data processing will be used for segmentation using a hybrid PPM-SPM model. Recommendations are provided for selecting the appropriate supplier relationship management strategy for each supplier segment.

Abstract

In today’s competitive manufacturing industry, maintaining high production efficiency and minimizing machine downtime are critical challenges, particularly in the food sector. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of ten CBP product packaging machines at PT. XYZ using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. The research employs a quantitative approach based on primary data collected through direct observation and interviews. The OEE method measures machine performance through three indicators: Availability, Performance, and Quality. The results show that the average OEE value from October to December 2023 is 94%, exceeding the world-class standard of 85%. The dominant loss affecting effectiveness was Equipment Failure Losses (50%), followed by Rework and Defect Losses (22% each). These losses are primarily caused by machine wear, material issues, and operator handling errors. The findings indicate that the OEE method serves as an effective tool for monitoring production efficiency and planning preventive maintenance. Regular operator evaluations and standardized maintenance procedures are recommended to sustain high equipment performance levels.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini dirumuskan masalah tentang bagaimanakah penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pada mesin Press. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa penerapan TPM pada mesin Press, menganalisa faktor yang mempengaruhinya dan memberikan rekomendasi tindakan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi mesin. Pengukuran kinerja mesin Press ini  dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). OEE adalah salah satu aplikasi progam TPM dan merupakan suatu metode perhitungan nilai efisiensi kinerja suatu proses/peralatan. Dari hasil perhitungan nilai OEE, diperoleh rata-rata OEE dari bulan Juli 2024 sampai September 2024 sebesar 83,12%. dengan nilai terendah pada Performance Rate yaitu sebesar 86,83%, Selanjutnya mengidentifikasi akar permasalahan yang menyebabkan Performance rate rendah dengan menggunakan diagram Fishbone. Setelah diketahui akar permasalahannya, langkah selanjutnya menentukan tindakan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi mesin Press tersebut.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu Ikatan Pencak Silat Indonesia (IPSI) Cikarang Selatan menyusun bagan tanding turnamen pencak silat sehingga lebih terorganisir dan terintegrasi dengan sistem pendaftaran online yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual sehingga sering menyebabkan keterlambatan, kesalahan penempatan peserta, dan jadwal pertandingan yang tumpang tindih. Selain itu untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada pengurus dan panitia turnamen pencak silat mengenai tata cara penggunaan kecerdasan buatan (artificail intelligence) untuk membuat bagan tanding yang efisien dengan metode pengacakan sederhana menggunakan aplikasi digital berbasis kecerdasan buatan yang dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan edukasi pada mitra tentang penggunaan aplikasi, kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penyusunan bagan secara signifikan dari rata-rata 60 menit menjadi sekitar 15 menit dengan penghematan waku lebih dari 70%. Selain lebih cepat, tumpang tindih jadwal pertandingan dan kesalahan input dapat dihindari sehingga proses penyusunan lebih akurat dan dapat diandalkan. Bagan yang dihasilkan juga lebih teratur, dan siap dipublikasikan. Keunggulan lain dari sistem ini adalah fitur pendaftaran peserta secara online, yang memungkinkan panitia mengolah data langsung tanpa perlu mengetiknya lagi. Pelatihan yang diberikan kepada pengurus IPSI menunjukkan bahwa peserta cepat memahami sistem dan dapat menjalankannya secara mandiri. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil mencapai tujuannya dalam membantu pengurus IPSI menemukan cara yang lebih baik untuk mengelola turnamen. Sistem ini masih dapat dikembangkan untuk memasukkan fitur tambahan seperti cetak hasil bagan secara otomatis, pembaruan jadwal secara real-time, dan integrasi laporan turnamen yang lebih lengkap.    Kata kunci: Pencak silat, IPSI, turnamen, digital, AI, PHP, real-time. ABSTRACT This service aims to assist the Indonesian Pencak Silat Association (IPSI) of South Cikarang in compiling a pencak silat tournament bracket so that it is more organized and integrated with the online registration system, which was previously done manually, often causing delays, participant placement errors, and overlapping match schedules. Additionally, it provides socialization and training to the administrators and committee members of the pencak silat tournament on how to use artificial intelligence (AI) to create an efficient match schedule using a simple randomization method with a digital application based on artificial intelligence created with the PHP programming language. The method used was socialization and education of partners on the use of the application. The activity showed that this system can significantly increase the efficiency of charting from an average of 60 minutes to about 15 minutes, with a time saving of more than 70%. In addition to being faster, overlapping match schedules and input errors can be avoided, making the charting process more accurate and reliable. The resulting charts are also more organized and ready for publication. Another advantage of this system is the online participant registration feature, which allows the committee to process data directly without having to retype it. The training provided to IPSI administrators showed that participants quickly understood the system and were able to run it independently. Overall, this activity successfully achieved its goal of helping IPSI administrators find better ways to manage tournaments. This system can still be developed to include additional features such as automatic printing of bracket results, real-time schedule updates, and more comprehensive tournament report integration.
