Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik gerak harmonik sederhana pada sistem ayunan matematis menggunakan kit mekanika melalui pendekatan praktikum berbasis Cookbook. Permasalahan yang diidentifikasi dalam pembelajaran praktikum mekanika adalah rendahnya ketelitian mahasiswa dalam melakukan pengukuran periode ayunan serta kurangnya pemahaman mengenai hubungan panjang tali terhadap periode osilasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif-deskriptif, pengukuran dilakukan pada berbagai variasi panjang tali sehingga memungkinkan pembentukan grafik hubungan T2 terhadap panjang tali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara T2 dan panjang tali bersifat linear konsisten dengan teori gerak harmonik sederhana. Percepatan gravitasi yang diperoleh dari analisis regresi memiliki galat relatif kecil, sehingga penggunaan mechanical kit dan modul praktikum Cookbook efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas eksperimen mahasiswa. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of simple harmonic motion in a mathematical pendulum system using a mechanics kit through a Cookbook-based practicum approach. The problems identified in the mechanics practicum learning are the low accuracy of students in measuring the pendulum period and the lack of understanding of the relationship between the length of the rope and the oscillation period. By using a quantitative-descriptive approach, measurements were made at various rope length variations to enable the formation of a graph of the relationship between T2 and the length of the rope. The results show that the relationship between T2 and the length of the rope is linear, consistent with the theory of simple harmonic motion (Serway Jewett, 2014). The acceleration of gravity obtained from the regression analysis has a relatively small error, so the use of the mechanical kit and the Cookbook practicum module is effective in improving the quality of student experiments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan serta perbedaan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik setelah diterapkannya model Guided Discovery Learning (GDL) berbantuan media Amrita dan model Inquiry Learning berbantuan media Amrita pada materi suhu dan kalor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi-eksperimen melalui non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas 207 peserta didik kelas XI di SMAN 14 Garut, dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas XI-5 sebagai kelas eksperimen pertama (31 peserta didik) dan kelas XI-6 sebagai kelas eksperimen kedua (30 peserta didik). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen pertama mencapai 90% untuk aktivitas guru dan 84% untuk aktivitas peserta didik, sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen kedua mencapai 89% untuk aktivitas guru dan 82% untuk aktivitas peserta didik. Keduanya termasuk kategori sangat baik. Peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis ditunjukkan oleh nilai N-Gain, yaitu 0,75 (kategori tinggi) untuk kelas eksperimen pertama dan 0,59 (kategori sedang) untuk kelas eksperimen kedua. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan independent t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga H₀ ditolak. Dengan demikian, terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan model GDL berbantuan Amrita dan model Inquiry Learning berbantuan Amrita pada materi suhu dan kalor.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of flashcard media on improving students’ Arabic vocabulary (mufrodat) mastery at grade X of MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. The research employed a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of 30 students from class X A selected through cluster sampling. The research instrument was a 40-item vocabulary test validated through expert judgment. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired samples t-test. The results showed that the mean pretest score of 68.8 increased to 87.7 in the posttest. The paired samples t-test results indicated a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, demonstrating a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. Therefore, it can be concluded that flashcard media has a significant effect on improving students’ Arabic vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

The three main tasks of teachers are planning, implementing and evaluating learning. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of prospective physics teacher planning in preparing the scientific based LP. The research method used is a descriptive method. The subjects of this study are 9 physics semester VI academic year 2015/2016 in a micro-teaching course. The research instrument used scalar assessment with rubrics of LP display results. Data analysis techniques used descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Based on the result of research, the average value of LP 1 is 78,97 with a good category, 2nd RPP equal to 84,52 with very good category and the third LP is 96,00 with a very good category.Tiga tugas utama guru yaitu melakukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan perencanaan bagi calon guru fisika dalam menyusun RPP berbasis saintifik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 9 mahasiswa pendidikan fisika semester VI tahun akademik 2015/2016 pada mata kuliah Micro Teaching. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan penilaian skala disertai rubrik dari hasil tampilan RPP. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan  kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata penyusunan RPP ke- 1 sebesar 78,97 dengan kategori baik, RPP ke- 2 sebesar 84,52 dengan kategori sangat baik dan RPP ke-3 sebesar 96,00 dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation and various obstacles of laboratory activities in junior high schools. The study employed the descriptive quantitative method. The subjects of the study were science teachers in 41 junior high schools representing 4 areas of the Natural Sciences Teachers' Consultative Assembly (MGMP IPA) in Jawa Barat Province. The instrument employed was a questionnaire. The technical analysis of the data was conducted by calculating the average percentage of each answer choice of each statement. This research reveals that 1) the students’ motivation for conducting laboratory activities is high; 2) the implementation of laboratory activities is conducted separately by employing theoretical classroom learning; 3) the source of guidance for laboratory activities is a model of cookbook laboratory; and 4) some obstacles in laboratory activities include insufficient laboratory spaces, less standardized and insufficient number of most equipment, the availability of manuals for laboratory activities, insufficient instructions to use laboratory equipment, and teachers’ difficulties in designing, implementing, and evaluating laboratory activities. It is concluded that in general teachers and students are very enthusiastic about conducting laboratory activities in science learning, but they still have several constraints, especially in the available infrastructures.

Abstract

Students must be trained and develop problem-solving skills as part of 21st-century skills. The study aims to determine the feasibility and implementation of learning CORE-based Electronic-modules and the improvement of students' problem-solving skills on impulse-momentum material. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The instrument used is a validation sheet (expert of material and media and teachers), student worksheets, and tests. The results show CORE-based Electronic-modules after validation an average feasibility of 80% and the implementation of learning activities using CORE-based Electronic-modules an average of 84% including in the very good category. Student worksheets with an implementation percentage of 81% with effective criteria Enhancing students' problem-solving skills of 0.64 with moderate interpretation. The results of hypothesis testing using a paired obtained a tcount of 31.00 > ttable of 2.04. The results show there are differences in problem-solving skills after the implementation of CORE-based electronic modules. The CORE-based electronic modules are feasible to use in the classroom learning process and can improve students' problem-solving skills on impulse-momentum material

Abstract

The development of 21st-century learning requires students to possess critical thinking skills, especially in physics, which emphasizes conceptual understanding and problem-solving. However, classroom learning is still often dominated by conventional methods that limit students' opportunities to construct knowledge actively. This study was motivated by students' low critical thinking skills during physics lessons in class XI at SMA 1 BN Baleendah. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Discovery Learning model-based Flipped Classroom to improve students' critical thinking skills on temperature and heat material. The research used a quasiexperimental design with a nonequivalent control group. Data collection was carried out using the AABTLT with the SAS instrument and a critical thinking skills test based on Ennis indicators. The population consisted of all 11thgrade students at SMA 1 BN Baleendah. The results showed that the N-Gain score in the experimental class was 0.76 (high), and in the control class, 0.69 (moderate), indicating a significant difference between the two classes. Implementing this model encourages students to become more active, independent, and enthusiastic learners. Future studies are recommended to involve larger samples and examine additional variables such as learning motivation and digital literacy.
