Abstract

ABSTRACT When human life is still simple, they can find their daily needs easily. With the progressiveness of era, their life is complex. They do not have a lot of time to look for what and how goods or services that they need. For solving the problem, it occurs advertising activities, id. est. an activity introduces a product to public through advertising media such as newspaper, magazine, radio, television, film, internet, etc. Apart from information tool, an advertisement also functions as persuasive tool, therefore the copy writers try to make their advertisement as attractive as possible with expectation it can influence the consumers’ attitude and behavior. Advertisement in printed media consists of two elements, namely pictures and verbal symbols that form words, idiom, phrase or sentences. The writer will discuss English in tagline of advertisements, which tends to be persuasive function, from the linguistics point of view.   Keywords : tagline, advertisement, newspaper.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the differencies in immunological response of the four first-line antiretroviral combination, that is lamivudin-Zidovudin-Nevirapin, lamivudin-Zidovudin-Evapirenz, lamivudin-Stavudin-Nevirapin and lamivudin Stavudin-Evapirenz, which were based on increase in CD4 of patients and the factors influencing it in patients HIV / AIDS in Dr. H. Mahdi Marzoeki Bogor. The study was conducted retrospectively using data from Medical Record (MR) patients from March 2006 until March 2010 on patients who had CD4 examination every 3-4 months for using antiretroviral. Provided for descriptive analysis and statistical analysis were 335 patients and 73 patients resfectively . The results showed that the increase in the average patient's CD4 count were different for their four combinations of antiretroviral drugs, but on the basis of statistical tests using ANOVA showed that differences in CD4 cell increase were not significant. Factors patient's age, number of opportunistic infections, CD4 early and drugs used to treat opportunistic infections did not affect the increase in CD4 of patients.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan respon imunologi dari empat kombinasi antiretroviral lini pertama yaitu Lamivudin-Zidovudin-Nevirapin, Lamivudin-Zidovudin-Evapirenz, Lamivudin-Stavudin-Nevirapin dan Lamivudin-Stavudin-Evapirenz berdasarkan peningkatan  CD4 pasien dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya pada pasien HIV/ AIDS di Rumah Sakit Dr. H. Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor.  Penelitian dilakukan secara retrospektif menggunakan data dari Catatan Medik (MR) pasien dari bulan Maret 2006 sampai Maret 2010 pada pasien yang mempunyai hasil pemeriksaan CD4 setiap 3-4 bulan selama menggunakan antiretroviral. Diperoleh 335 pasien untuk analisis deskriptif dan 73 pasien untuk analisis statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan CD4 rata-rata pasien berbeda dari keempat kombinasi ARV, tetapi berdasarkan uji statistik menggunakan ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan kenaikan CD4 tidak bermakna. Faktor-faktor umur pasien, jumlah infeksi oportunistik, CD4 awal dan obat yang digunakan untuk mengobati infeksi oportunistik tidak mempengaruhi kenaikan CD4 pasien.

Abstract

Budaya organisasi dan karakteristik sistem informasi akuntansi manajemen merupakan konsep yang populer sekaligus kompleks yang diidentifikasikan sebagai faktor yang dapat menyukseskan maupun menggagalkan tercapainya kinerja manajerial. Fenomena yang terjadi pada organisasi di Indonesia adalah kinerja manajerial yang belum sempurna. Demikian pula budaya organisasi dan karakteristik sistem informasi akuntansi manajemen belum menunjukkan kondisi yang ideal. Maksud dan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencapai kebenaran melalui pengujian (konfirmasi) adanya pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap karakteristik sistem informasi akuntansi manajemen serta dampaknya pada kinerja manajerial. Hasil penelitian diharapkan menjadi bukti bahwa model yang ditawarkan dapat menjadi solusi pemecahan masalah pada kinerja manajerial. Data yang digunakan diperoleh melalui survei dengan mendistribusikan kuesioner pada Kopaga Sauyunan, diolah secara statistik dengan menggunakan SEM-PLS. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode explanatory research untuk mendapatkan jawaban mendasar sebab akibat dengan menganalisa penyebab terjadinya masalah pada kinerja manajerial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) budaya organisasi berpengaruh terhadap karakteristik sistem informasi akuntansi manajemen dan (2) karakteristik sistem informasi akuntansi manajemen berpengaruh terhadap kinerja manajerial.

Abstract

MI Nyatnyono 02 West Ungaran District of Semarang Regency is used as a model to create a school of mosquito larvae free. The method of these activities used participatory action research. The Detik program is the realization of Jumantik, foster and train students to monitor larvae around school and their own home by filling up the form. The activities involved 50 students of fourth and fifth graders. They were coached with dengue prevention learning materials. The activities were carried out for five days consisting of training and coaching, the competition to create bulletin boards and environmental movement by planting mosquito repellent plants such as lavender and geranium. The students fulfill the form once a week. The teacher as Jumantik in charge then submits the monthly summary report to the Puskesmas to complete the periodic inspection of larvae data within 3 months and then follow up. MI Nyatnyono 02 kecamatan Ungaran Barat, kabupaten Semarang digunakan sebagai model sekolah bebas jentik. Metode kegiatan ini adalah penelitian tindakan participatory. Program Detik (Detektif Jentik) adalah realisasi dari Jumantik (Juru Pemantau Jentik) yang membina dan melatih siswa untuk memonitor jentik dilingkungan sekolah dan rumah mereka dengan mengisi blangko. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 50 siswa kelas 4 dan 5. Mereka dibekali materi pembelajaran pencegahan demam berdarah dengue dan pemberantasan sarang nyamuk. Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama 5 hari yang terdiri dari pelatihan, pembekalan, lomba majalah dinding dan gerakan cinta lingkungan dengan menanam tanaman pengusir nyamuk seperti lavender dan geranium. Siswa mengisi blangko seminggu sekali dan menyerahkan kepada guru sebagai penanggung jawab jumantik disekolah. Selanjutnya diserahkan ke Puskesmas melengkapi data pemeriksaan jentik berkala setiap 3 bulan sekali dan kemudian ditindak lanjuti.

Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this research was to improve students? speaking ability in describing place using Think-Pair-Share (TPS) technique for the tenth grade students in class IPA 3 of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Pontianak. This research was a classroom action research. The result showed that the use of Think-Pair-Share technique made the students become more active in speaking activity, particularly in describing place by using English and gave positive response or feedback during teaching and learning process. Think it out in Think activity helped students to use and practice their vocabulary in terms of adjectives which relevant with the topic given. Partners? correction in Pair activity in which students were allowed to give correction of their partner?s mistakes in pronouncing English words helped them to practice their pronunciation as well to pronounce the words with better pronunciation. Turn-taking description in Share activity helped students to practice oral description by using better pronunciation, relevant adjectives and simple present tense correctly. These findings were also supported by the result of students? speaking scores in which the mean score improved from 59,1 in Cycle 1 to 72,6 in Cycle 2 then it was 79,6 in Cycle 3. In conclusion, Think-Pair-Share technique improved students? speaking ability in describing place, particularly in the aspects of pronunciation, the use of adjectives, and the use of simple present tense.Keywords: Speaking Ability, Think-Pair-Share technique, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Autonomy or the capacity to take charge of one's learning is seen not only as a favorite topic but also as a crucial necessity in language learning.In Indonesia, the principle of autonomous learning was implemented in the 2013 curriculum. This research aimed to capture the practice of learner autonomy and its role in the learning process through a strategy which is used in practicing autonomy. Metacognitive strategy, which has a planning process, monitoring process, problem-solving process, and evaluating process is necessary for learners' autonomy. The qualitative research method was used in conducting this research. Three data collection methods were used in capturing the data in all metacognitive's process. Each method has its dimension in collecting the data. A participatory observation was used to collect data from activeness dimension. A student questionnaire was used to find out awareness dimension while an interview was used for responsibility and ability dimensions. The data from these data collection methods were triangulated. This research has the flexibility to be conducted in any institution where the 2013 curriculum is implemented. SMP N 32 Semarang was chosen for this reason. Based on the research, the learners are autonomous, they are active, aware, responsible, and able to take control of their learning in all metacognitive strategy processes (planning, monitoring, problem-solving and evaluating), yet they are not completely free from teacher’s guidance, they need it in making a plan, monitoring, solving problem, and evaluating their learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh leverage, Price to Book Value (PBV), dan Return On Asset (ROA) terhadap Earnings Management pada perusahaan manufaktur industri bahan dasar dan kimia sub sektor logam yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 11 perusahaan. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif dan sumber data  berupa data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan tahunan. Data yang dikumpulkan diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel leverage dan ROA berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap earnings management. Sedangkan PBV menunjukkan pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan  mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mendorong konsumen memutuskan untuk membeli buah lokal selama masa pandemi Covid 19.  Penelitian dilakukan pada masa pandemi Covid 19 tahun 2020 dengan pendekatan  kuantitatif.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner pada 322 sampel, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis faktor Pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner terhadap responden penelitian selama masa pandemi Covid 19 pada tahun 2020. Sampel ditarik dengan dengan simple random sampling dari populasi konsumen yang mengonsumsi buah lokal selama tahun 2020, 322 responden bersedia melakukan pengisian kuesioner.  Hasil  penelitian diolah dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 26.  Hasil penelitian  membuktikan hipotesis dengan nilai signifikansi 0,00 bahwa faktor yang diteliti memiliki korelasi untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut.  Selain itu, hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa dari 10 faktor yang diteliti yaitu keragaman buah lokal, kualitas buah lokal, kebersihan buah lokal, kesegaran buah lokal, harga buah lokal, gaya hidup sehat, tingkat pendapatan, keinginan dan kebutuhan, bentuk buah lokal, dan warna buah lokal kemudian tereduksi menjadi dua variabel yaitu variabel persepsi kualitas dan variabel preferensi konsumen.
