Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of career development strategies and work motivation on employee performance, with organizational commitment serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, involving a population of 500 employees from a state-owned public transportation company. Data were collected from 100 selected respondents using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results showed that career development strategies had a significant positive effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of 0.45, and on organizational commitment, with a coefficient of 0.50. Work motivation also positively influenced performance (coefficient 0.38) and organizational commitment (coefficient 0.42). Furthermore, organizational commitment was found to significantly mediate the influence of career development strategies on performance (coefficient 0.30) and the effect of work motivation on performance (coefficient 0.25). These findings indicate that enhancing career development strategies and work motivation can lead to improved employee performance, particularly through the strengthening of organizational commitment. This study also reinforces previous research highlighting the importance of career development programs and employee motivation in improving performance and fostering employee loyalty to the organization.

Abstract

In the digital era, public services have transformed through applications such as PLN Mobile. The effectiveness of its complaint feature is influenced by complaint quality, handling speed, and user satisfaction, with digital literacy serving as a moderator. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the effectiveness of the complaint feature on the PLN Mobile application within the PLN UP3 Cikokol working area.Using purposive sampling, the study involved 120 respondents who are customers of PLN UP3 Cikokol. Data analysis was performed using PLS-SEM with smartpls 4 software. The results indicate that complaint quality, handling speed, and user satisfaction significantly influence complaint feature effectiveness. Notably, complaint quality has the strongest impact on user satisfaction compared to other relationships in the model. Furthermore, digital literacy does not significantly moderate the influence of complaint quality, handling speed, or user satisfaction on feature effectiveness. This suggests that the PLN Mobile complaint feature is sufficiently inclusive, ensuring its effectiveness is accessible to all users regardless of their digital proficiency levels.

Abstract

Teacher professional identity and agency play crucial roles in shaping educational practices, particularly in faith-based education, where values, beliefs, and institutional expectations intersect. This study employs the Delphi method to explore the perspectives of educators, administrators, and scholars on the formation and enactment of teacher identity and agency within faith-based educational settings. Through iterative rounds of expert input, key themes emerge, including the influence of religious doctrine on pedagogical decisions, the negotiation of personal and institutional values, and the role of community engagement in reinforcing professional identity. The findings highlight the dynamic, context-dependent nature of teacher agency, underscoring the need for supportive institutional structures that foster autonomy while maintaining alignment with faith-based principles. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of how educators navigate their professional roles within religious educational contexts, offering insights for policy and teacher development programs.
