Abstract

      Astronomi merupakan cabang ilmu yang mempelajari benda-benda langit di luar atmosfer bumi. Materi astronomi tidak dapat dipelajari secara langsung karena tidak dapat dihadirkan di dalam kelas. Melalui media pembelajaran diharapkan fenomena-fenomena alam yang berhubungan dengan peristiwa astronomi dapat dijelaskan kembali dengan lebih menarik. Produk dari penelitian ini, salah satunya dengan dikembangkanya program komputer berupa visual novel pada materi astronomi subbab bintang, tata surya, dan lubang hitam menggunakan Ren’Py Launcher. Media pembelajaran berupa cerita bergambar yang di dalamnya menjelaskan mengenai materi astronomi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa linear sequential model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Media divalidasi oleh pakar media dan pakar materi. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui metode angket dengan instrumen meliputi angket uji kelayakan media, angket uji kelayakan materi, dan angket responden mahasiswa. Pengolahan data hasil angket menggunakan metode penskoran dengan Skala Likert. Hasil pengolahan data pengujian kelayakan oleh pakar media menunjukkan penilaian baik demikian pula pada pengujian oleh pakar materi dengan perolehan skor sebesar 81,43% dan 86,43%. Hasil yang ditunjukkan oleh angket responden mahasiswa menunjukkan hasil baik dengan persentase 77,0%. Media pembelajaran selanjutnya disebarkan melalui internet menggunakan layanan Cloud Service Google Drive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan LKS berbasis multiple intelligences dalam pembelajaran IPA fisika di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), menguji tingkat kelayakan dan keterbacaannya, mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa SMP setelah menggunakan LKS. Dalam penelitian digunakan  metode Research & Development. Penelitian dilakukan dengan desain uji coba One Group Pre-test and Post-test dan dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas VIIIG SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Hasil uji kelayakan  menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasis multiple intelligences yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak” digunakan sebagai pedoman belajar siswa. Hasil uji keterbacaan menunjukkan LKS  yang dikembangkan  dalam kategori “mudah dipahami” oleh siswa. Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan  bahwa siswa mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar dalam kategori “sedang”. Berdasarkan hasil angket dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa memberikan tanggapan yang baik terhadap penggunaan LKS berbasis multiple intelligences dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aim to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model toward ability of problem solving and scientific communication of high school students on dinamic fluid materials, and to know the student’s response toward the implementation of guided inquiry learning model. The research design is use quasi experimental and the type is nonequivalent control group design. The data of this research are collected by test, observation, and questionnaire. The result showed that the implementation of guided inquiry learning model positively influence the problem solving and scientific communication ability of high school students. The influence of the implementation of guided inquiry learning model to the problem solving ability of students is 62,74%, while the influence of the implementation of guided inquiry learning model to the student’s scientific communication ability of 86,73%. The student’s response toward the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model is very good that is 81,15.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika dan kemampuan komunikasi siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Pengambilan sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah quasy experimental design dengan jenis nonequivalent control group design. Sampel diambil menggunakan purposive sampling pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kaliwungu Kabupaten Kudus tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dengan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen yang mendapat perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas kontrol yang mendapat pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran ceramah. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah meliputi kemampuan merumuskan masalah, merencanakan penyelesaian, melaksanakan penyelesaian, dan meninjau kembali hasil. Sedangkan kemampuan komunikasi yang diteliti meliputi kemampuan komunikasi lisan dan tulisan. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan kemampuan pemecahan fisika adalah sebesar 0,54 dengan besar pengaruh 30%. Hubungan antara model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan kemampuan komunikasi ditunjukkan dengan angka korelasi biserial sebesar 0,35 dengan angka pengaruh sebesar 12,75%.   This research aims at determining the influence of guided inquiry learning model to physics problem solving and communication ability of Junior High School students. The sample collection research was taken two classes of eight grade SMP N 1 Kaliwungu Kudus Regency academic year 2016/ 2017 using purposive sampling. This research applied quasy experimental design with nonequivalent control group type. Samples were taken using purposive sampling in 1 Kaliwungu Kudus Senior High School year 2016/2017 with VIIIB which received treatment using guided inquiry learning model as experimental class and VIIIA which received direct learning model treatment as control class. The problem solving ability include problems formulating, planning solution, execute solution, and examinate result. Communication ability include oral communication and written communication. The result of analysis data shows that the influences of guided inquiry learning model to physics problem solving ability is 0,54 with number of influences 30%. The relationship between guided inquiry learning model and communication ability is indicated by the biserial correlation rate of 0.35 with the influence rate of 12.75%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the problem solving ability of  the 9th grade students of  Banyubiru 1 and 2 Junior High School in 2019/2020 in the material of wave, and sound. This is a survey research with descriptive qualitative analysis. The instrument used was an integrated test with Polya's model problem solving steps and interview guidelines. Test questions tested consists of 2 problem descriptions. The result shows that the ability of the students  problem solving ability was still at the low level which is at 68.97%. Whereas,  90.32% of students' score are still below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) in science subject. Students are able to achieve 2 indicators of Polya model problem solving namely understanding the problem and making plans.  However, students have not yet been able to achieve the other 2 indicators, namely  implementing the plan and checking again. The students found the difficulties in interpreting the Problem-type questions. They got difficult in understanding the intentions of the problem so that there is an error in compiling a strategy that results in students experiencing confusion in writing each answer. So training is needed in working on problem solving problems.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers' perceptions of practicum in physics learning, the implementation and obstacles of implementing physics practicum in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year and the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The research method is descriptive quantitative. The instrument used was a google form questionnaire. Samples were taken using simple random sampling technique, obtained 50 SMA / MA physics teachers in Central Java and East Java. The results showed that all teachers have the same perception that the application of practicum in learning physics is important. However, during the online learning period the teachers rarely applied practicum. Some teachers even argue that they haven't thought about how to implement online practicum. More than 50% of teachers have tried to do practicum during online learning. The types of practicum used are various, ranging from virtual laboratories, simulations, video demonstrations and hands-on. The implementation of practicum in online learning experiences various obstacles, both hardware (practicum material tools, computers / notebooks, smartphones, networks) and software, namely practicum procedures that are not understood by students and students' activeness control mechanisms.

Abstract

Diffraction is one of the properties of light in the form of a bending event in the direction of the propagation of the waves through a narrow gap. Research on natural materials as an alternative to grating has been carried out with varying results. Natural ingredients in the form of scallion stems (Allium fistulosum) and banana heart (Musa paradisiaca) were chosen as the diffraction lattice preparations because they have fibers that resemble scratches on the diffraction grating produced by factories. Special care is given to each preparation to obtain the fiber. By using Tracker and analysis of the level of accuracy, the results obtained value m, and an accuracy of 95.81% for the diffraction grating of scallion stems, and the value of d = and accuracy of 90.01%. The results of this study indicate that scallion stalks and banana blossoms have potential and can be used as diffraction grating to explain light diffraction phenomena.

Abstract

Scientific literacy skills are very important in the era of globalization, where science and technology are rapidly developing, especially in developed countries. Science and technology in particular have a very big role in improving the quality of a country's education. The low scientific literacy of students in Indonesia makes Indonesia rank 70 out of 79 countries participating in international scientific literacy assessments. Students 'scientific literacy skills must receive special attention, namely by looking for causes and efforts to improve students' scientific literacy, especially in Indonesia. The research objective is to determine the causes of low scientific literacy and how to improve it to assess the integrity of students' scientific literacy by mapping the research results from previous research at the science education level for both junior high and high school students. The type of research method used is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. This research method is carried out by reviewing and identifying journals systematically with data results in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis.
