Etnomatematika merupakan suatu program yang direncanakan bertujuan untuk menekuni bagaimana peserta didik dapat memahami, mencerna, dan memakai ide matematika yang bisa menyelesaikan permasalahan berkaitan dengan kegiatan keseharian mereka. Peran etnomatematika merupakan pengakuan bahwa terdapat cara yang berbeda dalam melaksanakan matematika dengan memperhatikan pengetahuan matematika secara akademik yang dikembangkan oleh masyarakat dengan melibatkan budaya yang ada. Esensialisme ialah suatu aliran filsafat yang berkontribusi,serta menghendaki terdapatnya budaya dalam pendidikan matematika. Aliran esensialisme ini berpendapat bahwa pembelajaran wajib didasarkan oleh nilai kebudayaan yang sudah terdapat dari peradaban manusia dahulunya. Filsafat esensialisme menekankan agar tidak terbentuknya proses pembelajaran yang kaku, tetapi menuju kepada kemajuan Ilmu pengetahuan yang bermakna dengan memperhatikan kebudayaan dan nilai budaya yang merupakan prinsip dalam kehidupan. Tujuan dalam penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan dan implementasi filsafat pendidikan esensialisme dengan etnomatematika. Artikel ini menggunakan metode studi literatur.Data dalam penelitian inidiperoleh dari hasil riset terdahulu yang terdapat dalam buku, jurnal, serta prosiding yang mempunyai keterkaitan erat dengan judul penelitian. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pemikiran aliran esensialisme sangat berhubungan dengan etnomatematika. Aliranesensialisme Sangat berkontribusi dalam perkembangan, serta kemajuan dalam pelaksanaan etnomatematika di sekolah.

The research results are presented based on gender, certification status, work location, and work years. Based on gender, male teachers have slightly better TPACK abilities than female teachers. Based on certification status, the TPACK ability of certified teachers is better than teachers who are not certified. Based on work location, teachers in Pekanbaru City are better than teachers in Kuantan Singingi Regency. Based on years of service, teachers with 20 years of service are teachers who have very good TPACK abilities.

Proses pembelajaran pada revolusi 4.0 saat ini menuntut proses pembelajaran secara bertahap dapat beralih dari pembelajaran tradisional tatap muka ke penggunaan teknologi informasi sesuai dengan kecepatan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat. Proses pembelajaran yang baik didukung oleh sumber dan bahan belajar yang berkualitas. Contoh yang termasuk bahan ajar adalah buku. Kualitas buku ditunjukkan dari isi dan paket penyajian buku tersebut, sehingga buku tersebut lebih berkualitas dan dapat membangkitkan minat belajar/membaca siswa. Perkembangan teknologi informasi terkini dapat mengubah paradigma dari menggunakan buku cetak menjadi menggunakan buku digital dengan isi yang lebih berkualitas, tampilan/presentasi yang lebih menarik, lebih interaktif dan lebih murah. Ada beberapa aplikasi untuk membuat buku digital yang dapat digunakan secara baik bagi pemula maupun profesional yaitu Kvisoft Flipbook Maker. Berbagai aplikasi yang dapat digunakan dalam mengembangkan buku digital antara lain 3D Pageflip Professional. Keterampilan TIK para guru di Kecamatan Kuok terbilang cukup baik. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa sebagian besar guru memiliki jejaring sosial yang dapat mereka akses dari smartphone atau laptop pribadinya. Namun keterampilan tersebut tidak mereka gunakan dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan teknologi di kelas karena guru masih terbatas dalam menggunakan smartphone atau laptop sebagai media pembelajaran di kelas. Prodi Pendidikan Kimia Universitas Riau menyediakan platform berupa pembuatan buku digital berbasis flipbookmaker bagi para guru di Kecamatan Kuok sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pada saat pelatihan beberapa guru sudah dapat menggunakan media Flipbook Maker. Namun, sebagian lainnya masih terkendala gangguan sinyal internet sehingga guru belum bisa menggunakan media Flipbook Maker saat kegiatan pelatihan ini.

The covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has affected various sectors, one of them is in the education sector. Thus, it interferes with the learning processes conventionally. A solution is needed to respond to the problem in the 21st century. Online learning is one of the alternative ways in utilizing the use of IT-based teaching materials. This study aims to improve the students’ critical thinking skills by using an e-module. The research was the quantitative descriptive method. This study was a quasi-experimental by using a nonequivalent control group design. The samples of the study consisted of 2 classes, namely XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2. The analysis results using independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0,000 0,05. The data analysis results of critical thinking skills used N-gain score test; the experimental class obtained a score of 0,72, in which it belonged to the high category. Meanwhile, the average N-gain score for the control class was 0,34, in which it belonged to the medium category. It can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the students’ critical thinking skills between the experimental class and the control class. Therefore, the implementation of a phenomenon-based learning e-module can be an alternative to improve the students’ critical thinking skills.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) faktor-faktor kesulitan belajar peserta didik, dan (2) gambaran secara umum kesulitan belajar peserta didik dalam mempelajari materi asam basa pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022 di SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA yang berjumlah 213 orang dan diambil 139 orang sebagai sampel. Sampel diambil secara simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar peserta didik ditinjau dari faktor internal yaitu faktor minat sebesar 66,88% (kategori tinggi) dan motivasi mempunyai skor sebesar 60,165% (kategori sedang). Sedangkan pada faktor eksternal, yaitu cara/metode mengajar mempunyai skor sebesar 68,64% (kategori tinggi) serta sarana dan prasarana mempunyai skor sebesar 67,99% (kategori tinggi) (2) Secara umum kesulitan belajar peserta didik dalam mempelajari asam basa pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022 di SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru pada motivasi sebesar 60,165% dengan kategori skor angket sedang, menandakan motivasi cukup mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar peserta didik, dikarenakan usaha peserta didik untuk belajar materi asam basa masih rendah.

This paper aims to see the meaning of the Balimau Kasai tradition in Riau Malay Land in the perspective of Edmund Husserl's phenomenology, namely through self-awareness gained from every experience. The Balimau Kasai tradition can be interpreted as a tradition of the Riau Malay community to purify themselves, gratitude and joy in welcoming the holy month of Ramadan. The influence of the times has made the tradition interpreted differently by today's children. They interpret this tradition as one of their own pleasures that can fade the positive values of the Balimau Kasai tradition.

The quality of a good learning environment will affect the effectiveness of a learning model in achieving several competencies in science learning. This research aimed to investigate students' perceptions of the learning environment towards the implementation of Socioscientific Inquiry Based Learning (SSIBL) model on chemical kinetics material. The sample in this study involved 36 students who took Basic Chemistry I course. The data were collected by administering the WIHIC Questionnaire (What is Happening in This Classroom?) consisting of 50 questions. In the WIHIC questionnaire that has been distributed there are 7 indicators that will determine the quality of the learning environment created including student closeness, lecturer support, involvement, investigation, task orientation, collaboration, and student equality. The questionnaire data were analyzed using the SPPS program by inferring the mean and standard deviation that had been distributed to 69 respondents. The results of the analysis showed that overall the indicators measured were in the very good category. The results of the One way ANOVA analysis state that there is no significant differences in the learning environment of students based on their school origin or university entrance route. This shows that the SSIBL model is a learning alternative that can created a good quality learning environment for all levels of student ability based on school origin and university line.

This study aims to increase learning motivation and results student learning through the application of the PBL learning model combined with the NHT strategy on the subject of stoichiometry at MAN 1 Pekanbaru. The population in this study is all students of class X MIA, amounting to four classes. Normality test use Liliefors test which aims to see whether the data used have a normal distribution and homogeneity test using the variance similarity test and test average similarity which aims to see whether the sample used is already homogeneous. Sampling is done by the cluster random sampling method obtained by two classes namely class X MIA 1 as a control class and class X MIA 4 as an experimental class. The results of testing the hypothesis using the t-test showed that there are significant differences between the control class and the experimental class on learning motivation and learning outcomes. Where is learning motivation and results learning experimental class students higher than students in the class control. Determination of the relationship of learning motivation to student learning outcomes done with a person correlation test that shows the existence of a relationship between learning motivation towards learning outcomes of students in the class applied PBL learning models combined NHT strategies on the subject of stoichiometry at MAN 1 Pekanbaru with a strong positive correlation category.

This research aims to determine the phenomenological perspective of the potang mogang mandi balimau kasai tradition. The benefit of this research can be as a reference or information reference in subsequent studies, to show readers a phenomenological perspective on the potang mogang mandi balimau kasai tradition. The connection between the Balimau Kasai tradition and the phenomenology of Edmund Husserl lies in the eidetic reduction view. The reality of Balimau Kasai has changed the focus and perception consumed by today's young generation has changed significantly. Therefore, from Edmund Husserl's point of view, this tradition needs to be reduced philosophically. The meaning of the Balimau Kasai tradition is seen from self-awareness of reality. Each person has a different interpretation of Balimau Kasai, depending on their experience with the tradition.

The tradition of the Turun Mandi Ceremony in the Minangkabau ethnic community provides a clear picture of the importance of cultural heritage and the meaning it contains. The understanding that this tradition is passed down from ancestors and held to welcome the birth of a baby at the age of 40 days reflects the richness of values and beliefs passed on from generation to generation. To understand the process of awareness and its meaning, this article uses qualitative research methods with phenomenological perspective analysis and data obtained through library research. The division of consciousness into three types, namely subjective consciousness, intersubjective consciousness, and objective consciousness, reflects important concepts in the phenomenological perspective, especially those developed by Edmund Husserl.
