Abstract

Blended learning is the same as hybrid learning, which combines the concept of traditional school teaching with online learning through personalized instruction for an entire group of students. The Systematic Literature Review follows the structure of the PRISMA framework (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta Analysis). The literature search was carried out in the web database eric.go.ed under the keyword “Digital Literacy”. Based on the extraction, 40 articles were selected for analysis. The following results were obtained: (1) The research trend on the impact of digital skills on blended learning is still dominated by the social science field; (2) The inclusion of digital devices in blended learning is dominated by the use of LMS (Learning Management System); several studies have reported combining the use of LMS with metaverse devices such as augmented reality; (3) The analysis of the differences in digital skills before and after the Covid-19 pandemic can be seen based on the use of digital platforms.

Abstract

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to identify students' misconceptions on acid-base concepts; examine the effectiveness of the Learning Cycle-6E models and cognitive conflict strategies in overcoming students' misconceptions; measure the retention of students' understanding of the concept. A descriptive and pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design was employed in the study. 30 secondary school students from a public school in the province of Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia. A three-tier instrument was applied to reveal students’ misconceptions as well as their scientific understanding. A paired t-test stastical procedure was apllied to uncover the effectiveness of the Learning Cycle-6E and cognitive conflict strategies. The retention of students' conceptual retention was measured in 3 weeks after the intervention (the implementation of Learning Cycle-6E models and cognitive conflict strategies). Several students’ misconception in the topic of acid-base have been uncovered. Also, that Learning Cycle-6E and cognitive conflict strategies are powerful in reducing misconceptions is proven. This paper also highlights that retention of students scientific understanding was also in very good criteria

Abstract

Abstrak – Nowadays, the demands of curriculum are increasing in achieving better standards of learning process. The low ability of chemistry and science teachers in developing inquiry-based and project-based learning designs is a problem that must be solved. The ability of teachers in making learning designs is one of the pedagogic competencies and professional competencies that teachers must master in their professional development. So there is a need for community service or training to teachers to facilitate this. The method of implementing this community service activity includes the presentation of material on inquiry-based and project-based chemistry learning design, discussion and question and answer, and assistance to teachers in developing the learning design, until teachers are able to make inquiry-based and project-based chemistry learning tools (including lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment instruments). The result of the training activities was an increase in the knowledge and skills of chemistry and science teachers regarding making inquiry-based and project-based learning designs. Enthusiasm and curiosity in developing knowledge about learning design make this training activity useful for participants. Keywords: Learning Design; Inquiry; Project; Teacher; Training

Abstract

One of the policies to change Curriculum 13 to the Independent Curriculum is that the RPP learning tools become Teaching Modules. Potential development and training need to be carried out because many educators have difficulty developing teaching module learning tools, especially differentiated learning. A preliminary study was carried out to analyze the partners' difficulties needs. The measuring tools or indicators used to measure partner needs use questionnaires. Based on questionnaire data, 91.43% of respondents were able to explain their knowledge regarding teaching modules. Teachers' understanding of teaching modules is supported by survey results. All teachers are able to differentiate learning tools from the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum. The high percentage of understanding of teaching modules is supported by 91.43% of respondents who have tried to create differentiated teaching modules. However, 77.14% of respondents experienced problems preparing differentiated teaching modules. Based on the analysis and discussion, the creation of teaching modules for learning tools at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo is not optimal. Socialization and training of teaching modules for learning devices in the era of the independent curriculum need to be implemented as a solution to the lack of optimal creation of teaching modules for learning devices specifically emphasizing differentiated learning aspects.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Collaborative Artistic Platforms learning model that is integrated with the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, in order to optimize the abilities of PPG (Professional Teacher Education) students at partner schools. This model is designed to improve collaborative skills, creativity and understanding of Pancasila values through interactive artistic activities. Research methods include model development, implementation in the field, and evaluation of effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research results show that this learning model is effective in increasing student involvement, their understanding of Pancasila values, as well as more creative and collaborative teaching abilities. It is hoped that this model can become a reference in developing a PPG curriculum that is more innovative and relevant to educational needs in Indonesia.
