Namun ditemukan 77,14% responden mengalami kendala ketika menyusun modul ajar berdiferensiasi. One of the policies to change Curriculum 13 to the Independent Curriculum is that the RPP learning tools become Teaching Modules. Potential development and training need to be carried out because many educators have difficulty developing teaching module learning tools, especially differentiated learning. A preliminary study was carried out to analyze the partners' difficulties needs. The measuring tools or indicators used to measure partner needs use questionnaires. Based on questionnaire data, 91.43% of respondents were able to explain their knowledge regarding teaching modules. Teachers' understanding of teaching modules is supported by survey results. All teachers are able to differentiate learning tools from the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum. The high percentage of understanding of teaching modules is supported by 91.43% of respondents who have tried to create differentiated teaching modules. However, 77.14% of respondents experienced problems preparing differentiated teaching modules. Based on the analysis and discussion, the creation of teaching modules for learning tools at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo is not optimal. Socialization and training of teaching modules for learning devices in the era of the independent curriculum need to be implemented as a solution to the lack of optimal creation of teaching modules for learning devices specifically emphasizing differentiated learning aspects.

Abstract

Abstract:21st century skills have become a hot topic in recent years. Indonesian graduates today need more skills to compete in this era. One of the skills in the 4Cs is collaboration, which is the process of group learning to discuss differences in views and knowledge through discussion, suggestions, and appreciation for differences of opinion (Greenstein, 2012). Collaborative skills, such as group work and discussion, are very important for students. It helps them channel their energy to achieve a shared vision for solving problems (Hidayati, 2019). Collaborative skills need to be applied so that students are accustomed to socializing and ready to work with anyone in their future lives. This study aims to observe the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in science subjects to improve the collaborative skills of students in class IX C of SMPN 7 Malang. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which is carried out in two cycles. The results of the study show that the application of the PBL learning model is proven to be effective in improving students' collaborative skills. This is evidenced by the increase in the percentage of the four indicators of collaborative skills assessment, namely working productively, respecting each other, compromising, and sharing responsibility

Abstract

This systematic literature review examines learning models in mathematics and science education that improve Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The review focuses on studies from 2000 to 2023, addressing Indonesia's need to enhance HOTS in response to low performance in global assessments like PISA. Using the PRISMA method, 20 studies were analyzed based on criteria such as HOTS focus and relevance to primary and secondary education. Findings reveal that Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) is the most commonly used model across disciplines, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is also widely applied, particularly in senior high schools, encouraging creativity through real-world problems. Discovery Learning, though less frequent, is effective in fostering independent inquiry in chemistry education. The study concludes that inquiry-driven and problem-solving models are key to developing HOTS, especially in secondary education, where cognitive demands increase. These models should be integrated into curricula to meet the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
