Abstract

SMA Dharma Karya as educational institutions annually held the scholarships are given to students based on criteria set by the school. However, in selecting the scholarship still use manual feared scholarships target. So the decision support system built in selecting scholarship learners using weighted product. In this study, using the method of weighted product and simple additive weighting as a comparison. From the results of research on the best methods of weighted product that is on the alternative ranking 14 with a total value of 0.0067401308233662 and the best perengkingan SAW method is also on the alternative 14 with a total value of 0.82. The results of a comparison test on the data obtained 263 product value weighted accuracy of 83.03% and a simple additive weighting of 60.45%. Results have the system usability percentage of 85.6% and has been tested BlackBox Addressing that the system can perform properly selecting scholarship recipients.

Abstract

Android, platform mobile yang bersifat open source dan didukung oleh GoogleOS, pada mulanya dikembangkan oleh Google Inc. dan kemudian diselesaikanoleh Handset Alliance. Blackberry sendiri merupakan platform mobile yangmemiliki keunggulan dalam hal komunikasi karena didukung dengan push mailyang handal. Namun sistem operasi ini tidak bersifat open source sehingga tidakmemungkinkan pengguna untuk melakukan pemodifikasian terhadap handsetpilihan pengguna.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and understand about the integrated annual report (integrated report) of PT Timah Tbk by answering research question about how is the rhetorical aspect and semiotic aspects, that is the aspect of semantic, syntactic, and pragmatic. Interpretive paradigm and semiotic approach is used to analyze the integrated annual report. The data used is integrated annual report of PT Timah Tbk in 2013, 2014 and 2015. This study showed that the semiotic aspects was poured into the points of reporting in the integrated annual report of the company. The integrated annual report of PT Timah Tbk was created by the company as a rhetorical story to build a positive image and to gain legitimacy from its stakeholders.

Abstract

One of the efforts to reduce infant mortality is through exclusive breastfeeding (EBF). The target of EBF coverage in the world shows a fluctuating trend that tends to decrease. One of the innovations needed to increase exclusive breastfeeding is through prenatal breastfeeding counseling. This study aims to look at the effectiveness of prenatal breastfeeding counseling on breastfeeding practice. This research used a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a post-test only control group design approach. The study was conducted in the working area of ​​the Menteng Public Health Center in Palangka Raya in March-October 2018. Samples for each group were 20 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire. Data analysis included univariate and bivariate (Chi-Square and Odd Ratio tests). The results of comparative testing of the effectiveness of breastfeeding counseling found a significant relationship between prenatal breastfeeding counseling with breastfeeding practice p-value = 0.025 (p <0.05) with an Odd Ratio of 0.222 which means that mothers given prenatal breastfeeding counseling have the potential to give EBF practice as much as 1 / 0.222 = 4.5 times higher than mothers who were not given counseling. Prenatal breastfeeding counseling was effective in enhancing EBF practices.

Abstract

The issue of anemia in Indonesia still remains a homework for the Ministry of Health, as well as other related sectors.  According to data from the Basic Health Research (Riset Kesehatan Dasar) in 2013, there are 31% female adolescents in Indonesia who suffers from anemia.  However, this number increased to 48.9% according to data from the Basic Health Research in 2018, with the most proportion of anemia found in the 15-24 and 24-34 age groups.  These cases clearly confirms that the health state of adolescents highly determines the success of health development, especially in the effort to establish the quality of the next generation in the future.  This research uses case control design, where the case group population are students at Muhammadiyah Elementary Schools located in the city of Samarinda, East Kalimantan Province, whereas the control group population are students from Islamic Elementary Schools in the city of Samarinda, East Kalimantan Province. The statistic analysis being used is the multiple regression analysis to look for risk factor with the highest effect. This is a retrospective research, that is extracting past variable information from respondents so recall bias, which can cause wrong information, is at risk of occurance.  Furthermore, the bias that might occur is that  the respondent is bias by giving false answers.  Another mistake is in the form of other cofounding variables not included in the research, which results in risk estimation value error.

Abstract

Going concern audit opinion defined as opinion state by the auditors based on their audit, concludes that substantial doubt exists with regard to the company’s ability to continue functioning as a business entity. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of auditor quality, audit tenure, and debt default on the acceptance of going concern audit opinion. The sample used in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and have fulfilled the criteria that existed during the 2013-2017 period, a total of 20 companies. Data analysis techniques using logistic regression. The results of this study empirically prove that auditor quality and the debt default has a positive effect on the acceptance of going concern audit opinion, audit tenure has a negative effect on the acceptance of going concern audit opinion.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding within the Palangka Raya municipality is far below target, on which 14,99% (2016) and 16,76% (2017), respectively. There were several primary health has the feeding bout, only cover 2,58%. Due to a lack of mothers knowledge, regarding beneficial and proper breastfeeding practices. Todays technology presumably has the advantages as promotional media. The study was aimed to quantify the android-based application, so-called ASI-Mobile, towards mothers attitude and behavior, on exclusive breastfeeding within Jekan Raya district, Palangka Raya Municipality, Central Kalimantan. The Research was conducted in March - October 2019, using a quasi-experimental design, and the sample was 60 pregnant women, in the third trimester period, over the Jekan Raya District areas. ASI-Mobile was subjected to 30 pregnant women, while others 30 mothers by counseling, the conventional promotion type. Purposive sampling was used, their socio-economic was collected, descriptive analysis was conducted. Bivariate analysis, Wilcoxon ranked test was used to analyzed the effect of the treatments. We've have found a significant link on ASI-Mobile application toward mothers attitudes (p-value 0.046) and behavior (p-value 0.018). We concluded that the ASI-Mobile, an android-base application, is more effective towards shifting mothers attitudes and behavior on exclusive breastfeeding within our study area.

Abstract

Koperasi Sejahtera Tani Nusantara (KOSTIN) a savings and loan cooperative that aims to provide venture capital lending services for the city of Pekanbaru. Currently  realization of the loan assessment Koperasi Sejahtera Tani Nusantara still subjective and the manual is just to provide an assessment whether  a prospective customer is given a loan or not. Assessments are subjective and the manual, also influenced from the subjective to the trust factor against the prospective customer. This assessment resulted in some customers' arrears exceeded installment maturing resulting in  capital turnover noncurrent. To resolve the  problems above, so engineering designs of customer lending eligibility application is made using 7P method of assessing prospective customers from the side: personality, party, purpose, prospect, payment, profitabillity, protection. With this application is expected to co-operatives can determine the suitability of prospective customers in obtaining credit and are expected to reduce the number of customers in arrears at a later date. Based on the results of trials that have been done can be concluded that the application complies with the expected goals. Abstract

PT. Telkom Indonesia is one of biggest telecommunication company in Indonesia. Currently, there are 12 communication areas which support any kind of services from PT. Telkom. One of them is north Jawa Timur area. As the intention to give a good quality service for every customer, especially in north Jawa Timur area, PT. Telkom, however, sometimes finds an unexpected time management gap in installation process. To resolve and anticipate negative effects from that problem, PT. Telkom needs a monitoring system which can support their services.

Abstract

CV Dua Daya Express is a delivery service company. It’s based in Gresik and delivers things to many areas in Jawa, Bali and Sumatra. The company holds many transactions every month. And by that, the company sends many stuffs to customers by land. Despite of highly activities, CV Dua Daya Express only has two 2-tons-trucks. The company cooperates with another company to support the armada. They make a phone call and specifically give an information about what they currently need to deliver customer’s order. This system doesn’t have an efficiency and takes big effort from the staff. CV Dua Daya Express needs a new system for the effectiveness of delivery service.
