Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba menerapkan Kaba Minangkabau sebagai media pemertahanan bahasa ibu, kesusastraan dan pengajaran dalam keluarga di Minangkabau. Pengajaran ini bermakna bahwa dengan terus mempertahankan eksistensi Kaba dalam masyarakat, maka secara otomatis pelestarian bahasa ibu juga akan terus bertahan dalam perkembangan zaman. Bahasa amai atau ibu yang ada dalam kaba Minangkabau jika terus dipertahankan sebagai sebuah inovasi akan menjadikannya sebuah bahasa yang lebih mulia. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa bahasa daerah  atau bahasa Minangkabau adalah sebuah bentuk kekayaan budaya yang dapat dimanfaatkan, bukan hanya sebagai sebuah kepentingan pengembangan  melainkan sebagai sebuah eksistensi bahasa itu sendiri. Penerapan Kaba Minangkabau  sebagai media pelestarian bahasa ibu ini sudah lama diterapkan pada proses belajar dan mengajar di program studi Sastra Daerah Universitas Andalas Sumatera Barat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagian besar mahasiswa Sastra Daerah menggunakan bahasa Minangkabau dalam berkomunikasi dan dalam situasi komunikasi ini mahasiswa Sastra Daerah mampu mengembangkan pengalaman empiris untuk pengembangan kearifan hidup dalam kaba baik secara individual maupun secara kolektif di kampus ataupun di masyarakat. Secara tidak langsung juga bahasa amai atau ibu yang ada dalam kaba Minangkabau dapat terus dipertahankan sebagai sebuah inovasi akan menjadikannya sebuah bahasa yang lebih mulia.

Abstract

 Abstract               The development of technology, especially information technology (internet), gradually unintentionally gives influence to education either directly or indirectly. The influence is clearly visible one of them to the method of learning. Learning methods that used to be done only face-to-face in the classroom and make the educator as a center of information (conventional) gradually begin to change towards learning that is also on-line based on the internet as an information center (E-Learning internet based). In STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat E-Learning internet based learning method itself has been introduced and implemented since 2014, but has not been maximally optimized. This is because the method does not have a standard in its implementation, and also conventional face-to-face learning method can not be abandoned completely, hence there is overlap between the two. Accordingly, this study developed a model of learning that combines the concept of conventional learning with the concept of E-Learning internet based called Blended Learning. Blended Learning model is expected to be a solution to the above problems, so that the learning process can be implemented effectively. This research is research and development research (R & D) with the outcome is a product that is learning model design. AbstrakBerkembangnya teknologi khususnya teknologi informasi (internet), berangsur angsur tanpa disadari memberikan pengaruh terhadap pendidikan baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Pengaruh tersebut terlihat jelas salah satunya terhadap metode pembelajaran. Metode pembelajaran yang dulunya dilakukan hanya secara tatap muka di dalam kelas dan menjadikan pendidik sebagai pusat informasi (konvensional) berangsur mulai berubah ke arah pembelajaran yang juga bersifat on-line yang berbasis kepada internet sebagai pusat informasi (E-Learning internet based). Di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat metode pembelajaran E-Learning internet based sendiri sudah diperkenalkan dan diterapkan sejak tahun 2014, tetapi belum telaksana secara maksimal. Hal ini disebabkan karena metode tersebut belum memiliki standar baku dalam pelaksanaannya, dan juga metode pembelajaran tatap muka secara konvensional belum bisa ditinggalkan secara utuh, karenanya terjadi tumpang tindih antara keduanya. Sehubungan dengan itu, pada penelitian ini dikembangkan sebuah model pembelajaran yang menggabungkan konsep pembelajaran konvensional dengan konsep E-Learning internet based yang disebut dengan Blended Learning. Model pembelajaran Blended Learning ini nantinya diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi atas permasalahan tersebut di atas, sehingga proses pembelajaran dapat terlaksana secara efektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian riset dan pengembangan (Research and Development/RnD) dengan luarannya adalah sebuah produk yaitu desain model pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan mesin pendingin udara di Indonesia sangat tinggi karena iklim tropis yang menyebabkan Indonesia memiliki dua musim, yaitu musin kemarau dan musin penghujan. Namun pada beberapa tahun ini, musim kemarau atau secara awam dikatakan musim panas, terasa lebih panjang dibanding musim hujan. Sistem refrigerasi dipilih untuk kebutuhan pendingin udara di Indonesia khususnya dan asia pada umumnya. Sistem refrigrasi terdiri dari evaporator, condenser, kompresser dan katup ekspansi. Efek pendinginan terjadi di evaporator, dimana cairan refrigerant berubah menjadi uap atau yang disebut dengan proses evaporasi. Pada penelitian ini, evaporator dirancang menggunakan beberapa diameter tube  pipa evaporator, yaitu :  0,005435 m, 0,007036 m, 0,008103 m,  0,008407 m, 0,009398 m, 0,010338 m, 0,011278 m, 0,00125 m, 0,012954 m dan 0,014224 m. Perancangan evaporator untuk biaya perancangan yang optimum dipilih pada rancangan dengan Din 0,009398 m dan Dout 0,0127 dengan panjang tube 5,08 m karena ukuran dan panjang tube yang tidak terlalu besar dan panjang.

Abstract

Learning English, especially speaking skills, requires a variety of accurate strategies. The aim is to make it easier for students to learn English, the more ways they can learn it the easier it is to master it. However, it is important to remember that learning English is not learning knowledge that requires high logical reasoning, memorizing formulas, mastering tenses, grammar, and formal English grammar, and so on. But learning English is nothing more than a skill that is continuously practiced until it is accustomed, any language learned requires the practice of speaking the language learned.

Abstract

Politeness in language is a soft skill that needs to be instilled in children, especially elementary schools, because the times and technological advancements require soft skills of the younger generation to develop. As a result, many children have ethics that are far from what parents and their environment want. For this problem, this reason is used as a form of coping or a way of giving attention to elementary students so that politeness in language can be maintained well. Partners in this service are PKK mothers who have children at the elementary level who live in the Citra Bungoidal housing complex. With this language courtesy training it is expected that elementary students especially those living in Citra Bungo Pasang housing will have the modesty of language in their daily lives. The language politeness of elementary school students is expected to be not only polite to parents, but also to friends, and others who are the opponents. Based on the partner's problem, the proposed solution will be implemented in two stages, namely, the first stage by providing material on language courtesy, and strategies for speaking to elementary students who live in the Citra Bungo Village housing Sungai Tarung Village, Koto Tangah District. The material is presented using power points and infocus. After the language courtesy material was given to elementary school students living in Citra Bungo Village, Sungai Tarung Subdistrict, Koto Tangah Subdistrict, students were told to interact with their friends and parents. This is done to see whether the student understands and can apply it in communication. The results of the language courtesy training given to elementary school students residing in Citra Bungo Pasang housing were observed two weeks after the material was purchased. The results were very satisfying, because elementary school students residing in the Citra Bungo Pasang housing complex which had often said rudely had changed. Because these elementary students reminded each other not to say rude.

Abstract

Literacy is very important for parents during a pandemic like today. Parental policy in observing information is highly demanded to understand whether the news obtained actually happened or was just a lie. Knowledge to understand related information with covid-19 really helps parents to organize the mindset and mental patterns of children. Because the information that is growing related to Covid-19 is very damaging to the mind and mental health of children. This happens because the child indirectly hears the danger of Covid-19 from people who are there surroundings, as well as from electronic media so. As a result, the child will feel afraid, because it is not accompanied by a clear explanation to the child about what he hears. For this reason, parental knowledge literacy plays a very important role in the development of children's thinking and mental patterns. The results of this workshop can be seen that the importance of linguistic literacy that needs to be known and controlled by the community, especially parents, to avoid the dangers of the Covid-19 outbreak and can affect the formation of children's thinking and mental patterns.

Abstract

Raising of local language needs to be implemented especially for children. In order to do so, we use reading poetry and poem training for students of TK Nasyiatul Aisyyah Mungka, 50 Kota. With the practice of reading poetry and poem in this Minangkabau language, students of TK Nasyiatul Aisyyah Mungka, 50 Kota will be able to speak and communicate with their local language. Local languages have long been used by many Indonesian authors, both in works of fiction and poetry. It is expected that this method will increase their awareness Of Minangkabau language. They will also appreciate the beauty of the poetry a nd poem in the Minangkabau language

Abstract

This research is motivated by still found learners who have no motivation to learn. One of the efforts made to improve learners’ motivation is in learning by giving information service. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of information services with quantum learning model using music to improve learners’ motivation is in learning. This research uses quasi experiment, with quasi experiment form is non-equivalent control group design or non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of this study are the learners’of Islamic Senior High School 1 Payakumbuh as a group of experiments and the learners’ of Islamic Senior High School 2 Payakumbuh as a control group. The research instrument used is Likert Scale model, then will be analyzed using Paired Samples t-test and Independent Samples Test with SPSS version 20.00. The result of the research shows that: (1) there is a significant difference of learning motivation of the students in the experimental group before and after being given information service with quantum learning model using music; (2) there is a difference of learning motivation  learners’ in control group before and after given information service without a quantum learning model using music, and (3) there is a difference learning motivation  learners’ between the experimental group provided with information service with quantum learning model using music and control group given information service without quantum learning model using music.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to describe the marginalized of the murder news and the process of inclusion of the murder news in the Posmetro Padang daily newspaper. The research applied a descriptive qualitative method. The object of this research was the inclusion strategy of the murder news in the paper. This occurred through three strategies; they were the differentiation strategy, objectivation-abstraction, and assimilation-individualization. The results of this research are the most journalists of murder news in Posmetro Padang daily newspaper try impartially and the perpetrators, as if the offender is a party that is good and right, while those who fall victim as a marginalized and regarded as the bad news. The inclusion of seven murders news that has been analyzed and published in the Posmetro Padang daily newspaper.

Abstract

PENERAPAN PLC MITSUBISHI FX2N-SERIES SEBAGAI PENGGANTI SELTIME-1000 UNTUK KONTROL TIMER PROSES PRODUKSI BAN PADA MESIN TIRE CURING PRESS. Sistem monitoring dan pengontrolan proses produksi pada Mesin Tire Curing Press Curex-B di PT. Elangperdana Tyre Industry menjadi bagian yang sangat penting, karena di mesin dan area inilah proses pembentukan ban sesuai dengan desain dihasilkan. Penggunaan timer proses curing tipe SELTIME-1000 untuk pengontrolan timer proses produksi ban di mesin Tire Curing Press Curex-B memiliki beberapa keterbatasan antara lain sulitnya proses input data produksi, dan apabila terjadi kerusakan pada Seltime-1000 sulit untuk diperbaiki sehingga akan berakibat berhentinya proses produksi pada mesin tersebut. Salah satu solusi untuk masalah di atas adalah dengan retrofit sistem kontrol timer proses Seltime-1000 dengan PLC Mitsubishi FX-series dan monitor layar sentuh (Touch Screen Monitor) tipe GOT-F940LWD sebagai alat untuk memonitoring proses curing dan untuk input data proses produksi curing. Pada penelitian ini telah berhasil melakukan perancangan sistem kontrol PLC dan monitor layar sentuh di mesin Tire curing Press Curex-B. Dengan sistem ini mempermudah dalam proses input data produksi dan mempermudah dalam penanganan trouble mesin, maka dapat disimpulkan perancangan sistem PLC dan monitor layar sentuh dapat digunakan untuk menggantikan fungsi dari timer proses curing tipe Seltime-1000 yang sudah tidak diproduksi lagi oleh produsennya.
