Abstract

This research aims to find out the leadership of Islamic educational institutions in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hifzil Qur'an. The approach of this research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The informant in this study is the Deputy Head of Madrasah for Curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hifzil Qur'an Medan who was selected using puposive sampling techniques. The data collection technique from this mini research is observation. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the heads of madrassas in Islamic educational institutions show democratic leadership traits such as attention, discipline, initiative, wisdom, openness, and stable emotions in their daily actions. There are five strategies used to encourage the performance of teachers and education personnel, namely (1) involving education personnel (accompanying teachers) and school personnel in foundation training and related agencies, (2) providing opportunities for teachers to develop learning methods in the classroom, (3) observing or supervising classroom teaching, (4) evaluating teacher performance, and (5) giving awards or giving awards to teachers and staff.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how Educational Quality Management Improves the Teaching and Learning Process at SMPN 2 BINJAI. This type of research uses qualitative research, where data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by presenting data, reducing data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research reveal the following: Educational Quality Management, How to Improve the Teaching and Learning Process, How to Improve the Teaching and Learning Process. This research will contribute to school principals and teachers in improving the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Kurikulum 2013 menuntut kemampuan guru untuk dapat mengelola proses pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien. Artikel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kegiatan evaluasi mahasiswa PPL UINSU terhadap kemampuan guru dalam menyusun kurikulum 2013 yang dipakai di MAL UINSU Medan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui sikap guru dalam pembuatan RPP kurikulum 2013; (2) mengevaluasi RPP kurikulum 2013 yang dibuat guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara tidak langsung dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu RPP yang dibuat oleh guru-guru MAL UINSU Medan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan dua siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri atas 4 tahapan, yakni: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: persiapan dan proses yang dilakukan guru dalam membuat perangkat pembelajaran sudah sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, RPP yang dihasilkan oleh para guru berada pada kategori baik, LKS berada pada kategori sangat kurang, dan buku teks berada pada kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan peran manajemen kepemimpinan dalam mengelola lembaga pendidikan islam di pesantren modern Babussalam. Pada penelitian ini, analisis deskriptif kualitatif digunakan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah adalah salah satu bentuk kepemimpinan dalam institusi pendidikan Islam. Salah satu elemen pendidikan yang paling penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan sekolah adalah kepala sekolah. Kepala sekolah harus memiliki empat hal penting, yaitu: kepribadian dan keterampilan kepemimpinan, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, keterampilan sosial, dan pengetahuan dan kemampuan profesional. Ini karena dia adalah pemimpin lembaganya. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pendidik, manajer, administrator, supervisor, pemimpin, dan innovator adalah tugas dan peran kepala sekolah untuk mencapai tujuan yang efektif dan efisien.Kata Kunci: Peran, Manajemen, Kepemimpinan, Lembaga Pendidikan Islam

Abstract

Abstract. This study attempts to ascertain the following: (1) The impact of transformational leadership on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah; (2) The impact of ability on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah; (3) The impact of motivation on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah; and (4) The impact of ability, motivation, and transformational leadership on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah. This study used an ex post facto model and was quantitative in nature. The population under investigation consisted of 210 individuals, and the sample size consisted of 136 respondents who were selected using the Krejcie & Morgan formula or table. The study's findings indicate that: (1) At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, transformational leadership (X1) has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance (Y), with a p value of 0.021, where the value is less than 0.05, indicating that transformational leadership affects performance. In the meanwhile, the test yielded a t-statistic value of 2.317, indicating that transformational leadership has a considerable impact on teacher performance (t-statistic value > 1.96). In other words, whether leadership is transformative. The better a leader demonstrates in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, the more likely it is that teachers will perform better in fulfilling their ooko k responsibilities; At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, ability (X2) has a positive and substantial effect on teacher performance (Y) with a p value of 0.000, where the value is less than 0.05, indicating that ability affects performance. In the meanwhile, the test yielded a t-statistic value of 4.092, indicating that it is more than 1.96. This implies that instructors will be able to carry out their tasks in accordance with their capacities given their current set of skills, which will impact the enhancement of teacher performance; (3) At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, motivation (X3) has a positive and substantial impact on teacher performance (Y), with a p value of 0.000, where the value is less than 0.05, indicating that motivation affects performance. In the meanwhile, the test yielded a result of 5.771 for the t-statistic, meaning that it is more than 1.96. This implies that a teacher's performance increases with the degree to which they use work incentive.Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Ability, Motivation and Teacher Performance.

Abstract

The use of information technology has changed the way we carry out various aspects of life, including in the education sector. In this digital era, the use of news technology in educational planning management has brought considerable changes and various benefits. This study aims to determine how the influence of the use of information technology in the management of educational planning to increase educational efficiency. The research method used is the library research method, which involves collecting data and information from various sources of literature that are relevant to the research topic. This research will identify and analyze various challenges and obstacles in the use of information technology in educational planning management and the solutions offered to overcome them. In addition, this study will also analyze the impact of using information technology in increasing educational efficiency. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the potential use of information technology in increasing educational efficiency and its benefits. The findings of this study are expected to be the basis for decision making and strategic planning in the implementation of information technology in education management, with the ultimate goal of improving the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This service article entitled "The Role of KKN 17 UINSU Students in Improving the Quality of Kelumpang Kampung Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency based on Religion, Education, Economics , Technology, and Healthy" discusses the role or involvement of students, especially the KKN 17 UINSU student group, which is carried out by 30 students from six faculties, namely the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Sharia and Law. In carrying out this service the KKN 17 UINSU group implements 4 aspects namely Religion, Education, Economy, and Technology. This service activity was carried out for 30 days in Kelumpang Kampung Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency. In this journal article, scientific work uses qualitative research methods in the data collection process and research methods, namely by conducting field observations and describing activities or gruop 17 KKN programs that have been implemented in Kelumpang Kampung Village.

Abstract

Basically the 1945 Constitution has mandated that the fulfillment of the right to education is the responsibility of the state. That is, normatively the state should be the party most responsible for the fulfillment of the right to education. In any case, the state should not waive its responsibility for the financing of education. On the other hand, the state through the government must continue to disseminate education financing by referring to standard standards, especially regarding education components, curriculum, teaching and learning processes, and graduation competency targets. The use of education funding must be regulated because apart from APBN/APBD funds, education funds can also be collected from the community through educational institutions. There are 7 (seven) sources of education financing, namely: Sources of funds from the central government, regional governments, parents, foster parents, community groups, students themselves and sourced from foundations. In this research, the method used is library research by collecting information and data with the help of various materials in the library such as reference books, similar previous research results, articles, notes, and various journals related to the problem to be solved. Activities are carried out systematically to collect, process, and conclude data using certain methods/techniques in order to find answers to problems faced by activities in research. Abstract

The teacher has the main role as a leader in the learning process. For this reason, teacher awareness of the importance of the profession and work motivation in improving teacher performance. This study aims to determine the relationship between professional commitment and work motivation on the performance of teachers in Medan city madrasas at the basic education level. In data analysis, this study used quantitative methods using a correlational approach, measured using a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. This thesis uses a sample of 57 teachers in Madrasah Medan, Medan who were selected using the Slovin formula. The results of the study concluded that (1) there is a significant relationship between professional commitment to teacher performance, (2) there is a significant relationship between work motivation and teacher performance, and (3) there is a significant relationship between professional commitment and work motivation on teacher performance.

Abstract

Economic well-being is a latent problem for teachers in education, so the government is trying to program teacher certification. This study aims to analyze teacher certification as an effort to increase teacher involvement in educating students at the basic Islamic education level. As for this type of research, it includes a qualitative approach with library research methods. Sources of data and study analysis materials use scientific literature, including books, articles, seminar proceedings, and final assignments (thesis, thesis, dissertation). The data is obtained from credible sources such as Google Scholar and Sinta. The results of this study conclude that the implementation of teacher certification is expected to increase the ability of teachers which in turn has an impact on improving the quality of education in this country much better. The hope is that after certification, teachers should be able to fulfill the four elements as stated in the teacher and lecturer law article 10 and government regulations regarding national education standards article 28 namely pedagogic, character, professional and social competence.
