Abstract

This research aims to find out the leadership of Islamic educational institutions in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hifzil Qur'an. The approach of this research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The informant in this study is the Deputy Head of Madrasah for Curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hifzil Qur'an Medan who was selected using puposive sampling techniques. The data collection technique from this mini research is observation. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the heads of madrassas in Islamic educational institutions show democratic leadership traits such as attention, discipline, initiative, wisdom, openness, and stable emotions in their daily actions. There are five strategies used to encourage the performance of teachers and education personnel, namely (1) involving education personnel (accompanying teachers) and school personnel in foundation training and related agencies, (2) providing opportunities for teachers to develop learning methods in the classroom, (3) observing or supervising classroom teaching, (4) evaluating teacher performance, and (5) giving awards or giving awards to teachers and staff.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Internalization of Islamic Worldview Culture of Learners through Madrasah Climate at MASAmaliyah Sunggal. This research aims to reveal; 1) Planning ofInternalization of Islamic Worldview Culture of Students throughMadrasah Climate in MAS Amaliyah Sunggal; 2)Implementation/process of Internalization of Islamic WorldviewCulture of Students through Madrasah Climate in MAS AmaliyahSunggal; 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors of Internalization ofIslamic Worldview Culture of Students through Madrasah Climate in MAS Amaliyah Sunggal. This research uses a type of qualitativeresearch, with a critical discourse analysis approach, research datacollection is obtained by observation, interview and documentationtechniques. To check the validity of the data using triangulationtechniques, namely with credibilty, transferability, dependability andconfirmability. Abstract

Evaluation is the initial process for planning the way forward. Still, in practice, it was found that most teacher performance evaluation programs did not positively impact improving the quality of education. This study describes the strategic planning, organisational structure and implementation outcomes of the teacher performance evaluation programme at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and document analysis and validated by triangulation using a qualitative descriptive approach. Strategic planning, supported by specific objectives, standardised procedures, and professional development efforts, emerged as the main approach to the program's success, according to the findings. This high-level assessment combined national policy objectives with a region-specific approach, blending theoretical models with realities on the ground. An organisational model detailed how systematic implementation was carried out, assigning responsibilities to evaluators and administrators. However, limited teacher involvement in developing evaluation instruments and unclear communication of results were identified as remaining problems, resulting in dissatisfaction and mismatched expectations. This study highlights the importance of collaborative planning, transparent feedback mechanisms and evaluator training to build trust and improve program effectiveness. The study provides a comprehensive model of teacher assessment through self-evaluation, motivational incentives and strong regulation, which allows for practical applications to support educational institutions in improving assessment processes and enhancing teaching quality

Abstract

Service activities greatly influence the achievement of quality and smoothness of organizational activities and influence the achievement of overall organizational goals. The services provided do not only provide assistance to customer needs, but also provide good service to customers. This research aims to determine the extent of task competence that the head of administration must have in improving the quality of administrative services in madrasas. The research was carried out using a descriptive qualitative phenomenological method with multisites, namely MAN 2 Padangsidimpuan Model and MAN 1 Padangsidimpuan. Based on the results of data verification, there are seven findings from this research, namely regarding the duties of the head of administration which describe competencies, namely; a) ability to manage administration, b) ability to lead TU staff, c) ability to plan work programs, d) ability to realize plans, e) ability to evaluate work results, f) ability to carry out main tasks and functions, and g) Skilled at work. The seven findings of this research are developments of existing theories. Where the seven findings are classified into three types of competence, namely technical competence, managerial competence and professional competence.

Abstract

strategi pendidikan‘Aisyiyah dalam pendidikan kaum Muslimah di Kota Medan, upaya yang dilakukan ‘Aisyiyah dalam pendidikan kaum Muslimah di Kota Medan, hambatan ‘Aisyiyah dalam pergerakan pendidikan kaum Muslimah di Kota Medan, dan faktor pendukung ‘Aisyiyah dalam pergerakan pendidikan kaum Muslimah di Kota Medan. Paparan dalam penelitian menghasilkan bahwa: (1) Strategi pendidikan ‘Aisyiyah dalam pendidikan kaum Muslimah di Kota Medan adalah melalui tiga peran, yakni perannya melalui konsolidasi pendidikan berbasis organisasi, konsolidasi pendidikan berbasis pimpinan dan kader serta pendidikan berbasis kerjasama organisasi. (2) Upaya yang dilakukan adalah membangun pendidikan pelayanan umum biro konsultasi keluarga sakinah ‘Aisyiyah dan melakukan evaluasi terhadap pemasyarakatan keluarga sakinah. (3) Faktor pendukungnya yakni terlaksananya pendidikan Qoryah Thoyyibah, pembinaan dan pelatihan kader di baitul arqam dan darul arqam, terlaksananya pembangunan pendidikan kader muballigh, dan terbangunnya pendidikan konsolidasi serta progresivitas manajemen profesional ‘Aisyiyah. (4) Hambatannya adalah adanya ketidak seragaman pendidikan ustaz-ustaz dalam menyampaikan dakwahnya, banyaknya terjadi kekerasan, menjamurnya pemahaman-pemahaman tentang strategi Islam, tingginya tingkat perceraian, meningkatnya penggunaan narkoba, kurang optimalnya pendanaan ‘Aisyiyah, tergandanya jabatan (rangkap jabatan).

Abstract

The role of leadership in the management of Islamic educational institutions is very crucial to achieving the institution's vision and mission. Effective leaders not only act as directors, but also as inspirers and motivators for all staff and students. Good leadership is able to create a conducive environment for learning and teaching, as well as ensuring that Islamic values are integrated in all aspects of education. In addition, leaders must have strong managerial skills to manage resources efficiently, improve the quality of education, and overcome various challenges that may arise. Strong and visionary leadership is the key to the success of Islamic educational institutions. In this research we used qualitative research methods with valid data in the form of documentation. The conclusion of this research is that the principal is able to carry out his role well as the highest leader in the madrasah he leads.

Abstract

The research entitled "Facilities and Infrastructure Management Strategies to Increase Students' Interest in Learning at MTSS SKB 3, Minister for Development of Tongue Tanah" aims to analyze facilities and infrastructure management strategies in order to increase students' interest in learning at MTSS SKB 3, Minister for Development of Tongue Tanah. Interest in learning is an important factor in the success of the educational process, and adequate facilities and infrastructure can play a big role in encouraging this interest. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the management of facilities and infrastructure at MTSS SKB 3 Ministers has been managed well, but there are still several challenges in meeting optimal facility needs. The strategies implemented include improving more varied learning facilities, routine maintenance of existing facilities, as well as optimizing the use of classrooms and laboratories for teaching and learning activities. This improvement in facilities and infrastructure has been proven to increase students' interest in learning, which is reflected in their activity during the learning process, both individually and in groups. This research suggests that the management of Islamic education at MTSS SKB 3 Minister of Development of Lidah Tanah continues to innovate in managing educational facilities and increase participation of all school elements to achieve optimal educational goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan komunikasi siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan tipe NHT pada materi SPLTV kelas x. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa/siswi kelas X sebanyak 4 kelas yang berjumlah 120 siswa. Dipilih sampel sebanyak dua kelas, yaitu kelas X-1 dengan jumlah 30 siswa untuk eksperimen 1 dan kelas X-2 dengan jumlah  30 siswa untuk eksperimen 2. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji-t. Hasil temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan tipe NHT pada materi SPLTV kelas x. Dengan menggunakan hasil uji-t, yakni di peroleh nilai yang signifikansi 0,508.2) Tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan komunikasi siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan tipe NHT pada materi SPLTV kelas x. Dengan menggunakan hasil uji-t, yakni di peroleh nilai yang signifikansi 0,189. 3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan komunikasi siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan tipe NHT terhadap hasil belajar siswa  pada materi SPLTV kelas x. Dengan menggunakan uji korelasi, yakni di peroleh nilai yang signifikansi 0,000. ABSTRACT   This study aims to determine the differences in the problem solving and communication skills of students who are taught with the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model and the NHT type in the SPLTV class x material. This research is a quantitative research, with a quasi- experimental type of research. The population is all students of class X Academic Year as many as 4 classes totaling 120 students. Two classes were selected as samples, namely class X-1 with a total of 30 students for experiment 1 and class X-2 with a total of 30 students for experiment 2. Data analysis was performed by t-test. These findings indicate that: 1) There is no significant difference in the problem-solving abilities of students taughtby the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model and the NHT type in the SPLTV class x material. By using the results of the t-test, which is obtained a significant value of 0.508.2) There is no significant difference in students' communication skills taught by the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model and the NHT type in the SPLTV class x material. By using theresults of the t-test, which is obtained a significance value of 0.189. 3) There is a positive relationship between problem solving and communication skills of students who are taught with Jigsaw and NHT cooperative learning models on student learning outcomes in SPLTV class x material. By using the correlation test, which is obtained a significance value of0.000.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan model pembelajaran STAD lebih baik dari pada model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian kuantitaif, dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MAS YMPI Tanjungbalai yang terdiri dari 2 kelas, dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah Kelas XI-IPA1 (kelas eksperimen 1 sebanyak 25 orang) dan. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan analisis varians (ANAVA). Hasil temuan: Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif dengan pembelejaran Snowball Throwing lebih baik dari pada model pembelajaran STAD dengan Fhitung = 7,994 > Ftabel = 4,04. Simpulan penelitian ini menjelaskan terdapat perbedaan model pembelejaran Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) dan Snowball Throwing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether the ability to think creatively with the STAD learning model is better than the Snowball Throwing learning model. This research is a quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental approach. The population of this research is all class XI MAS YMPI Tanjungbalai which consists of 2 classes, and the sample in this study is Class XI-IPA1 (experimental class 1 as many as 25 people) and. Hypothesis testing is done by analysis of variance (ANOVA). The findings: Creative Thinking Ability with Snowball Throwing learning is better than the STAD learning model with Fcount = 7,994 > Ftable = 4,04. The conclusion of this study explains that there are differences in the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) and Snowball Throwing learning models on students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran ICARE untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa di era pandemi covid.19 di SMP Tunas Bangsa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII. Pada penelitian ini, teknik analisis data yang dilakukan menurut Miles dan Huberman, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Subjek penelitian pada tingkat kemampuan berfikir kritis tinggi sudah mampu memyelesaikan soal matematika siswa dari indikator 1 sampai dengan indikator 4,Dan dapat simpulkan bahwahasil penelitian kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran (ICARE) siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Tunas Bangsa Tahun Ajaran 2021-2022 dikatakan mampu dan baik. ABSTRACT                This study aims to find out how to apply the ICARE learning model to improve students’ critical thinking skills in the covid.19 pandemic era at Tunas Bangsa Junior High School. This research is a descriptive qualilatitative research. The sampel iof this research is class VIII students. In this study, data analiysus techniques perfromed according to Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and data collection techniques by interview, observation, and documentation. The result showd that (1) the research subjects’ math problem from indicato 1 to indicator 4, and it can be concluded that the result of reseach on students’ critical thinking skill by applying the Learning Model ICARE for class VIII junior high school students Private Tunas Sangsa Nation for the Acadmic Year 2021//2022 is said to be capable and good.
