Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of leadership style on the performance of UD. Pinguin Bandar lampung. The collection of data ‘re done through questionnaires and conducted on 45 employees of UD. Pinguin Bandar lampung. Analysis of the data in this study using SPSS version 18. This study does not use sampling techniques because the samples study entirely of the population which called the census data and testing techniques used in this study include the validity of the test, the Cronbach alpha reliability test, the classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis, to test and prove the research hypothesis. The analysis showed that variable leadership style (X) = 0,001 <  = 0,05 shows the influence of variable leadership style on the performance of employees of UD. Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine what kind of leadership style is applied by management in improving employee performance at the Head Office of PT. Bank Lampung and whether it has a good impact in improving employee performance, because still many employees at the Head Office of PT. Bank Lampung have not applied discipline to the rules, both written and unwritten rules. The research method used by the researcher is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research was conducted at the Head Office of PT. Bank Lampung with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The results of the research showed that the leadership style used by the leaders or managers at the Head Office of PT. Bank Lampung in improving employee discipline is an autocratic leadership style, because the model of this autocratic leadership style further enhances supervision to monitor what activities are carried out by employees. This autocratic leadership style is very effective in increasing the level of employee discipline because the leader can further improve supervision and monitor the activities of subordinates or employees. Employee indiscipline is caused by an incompetent leader so that many employees ignore the rules, both written and unwritten, therefore the leaders or managers at the Head Office of PT. Bank Lampung applies an autocratic leadership style in improving employee discipline, because one of the factors that affect performance is the level of employee discipline. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of service quality during the Covid-19 pandemic at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Panjang Branch. This company is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) which is engaged in port services that provides port facilities and infrastructure in order to support the smooth flow of ships. This research type is an associative research that aims to analyze the influence of one variable with another variable. This study uses descriptive analysis techniques and multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study were customers of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Panjang Branch in Bandar Lampung in 2021 as many as 380 customers. The sampling method used random sampling with a total sample of 80 respondents. Primary data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires. The results showed that simultaneously service quality had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. The value of the coefficient of determination can be seen from the Adjusted R Square of 0.577 which means that 58.87% of the customer satisfaction variable can be explained by the quality of service. While the other 42.13% difference is influenced by government regulations which are not included in this study. Keywords: service quality, customer satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of management strategies in improving employee performance at PT. Agta Sinar Jaya in Bandar Lampung, to explain the relationship of work discipline to the performance of employees of PT. Agta Sinar Jaya in Bandar Lampung, and to explain the evaluation of management strategies in improving the performance of employees of PT. Agta Sinar Jaya in Bandar Lampung. The type of research used is field research, which is descriptive in nature with a qualitative approach to obtain data that is relevant to the research being conducted. The required data was obtained through interviews conducted with a company director and several employees who were the source of research data at PT. Agta Sinar Jaya. The research results shown that management strategies in improving employee performance at PT. Agta Sinar Jaya still has not been implemented properly, because of the rolling position system, so that employees don't understand their respective new positions and need time to adapt first so they can do their jobs well. Management strategy on discipline in improving performance at PT. Agta Sinar Jaya, there are still about 80% of employees who are not disciplined. Evaluation of management strategies in improving performance at PT. Agta Sinar Jaya, in general, employees work well after attending debriefing and training and applying discipline by giving rewards and punishments. Keywords: performance, management, strategy

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of strategic management on the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Lampung Province. MSMEs have a significant role in regional and national economic growth, but the challenges faced by MSMEs often affect their overall performance. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting data/information through interviews with several MSME actors/owners operating in Lampung Province. The in-depth and structured interviews focused on strategic management aspects, including strategic planning, strategy implementation, control and performance evaluation. In addition, MSME performance data is also collected, such as sales growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and market share. The results of this study indicate that MSMEs that implement strategic management well tend to achieve better performance than those who focus less on this aspect. Good strategic planning allows MSMEs to have a clear long-term vision and goals, while effective strategy implementation helps them to better face market challenges. Tight control allows SMEs to respond quickly to changing situations, and regular performance evaluations allow them to improve weaknesses and capitalize on existing potential.
