Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between work value support, subjective career success (SCS), and career commitment (CC). In this study, work value support is classified as intrinsic work value support (IWVS) and extrinsic work value support (EWVS). A survey method is employed to collect 252 usable questionnaires from public servants of the Central Bureau of Statistics in West Sumatera. The Smart PLS path analysis model is used to assess the measurement model and structural model. This study found that only IWVS had a significant positive impact on SCS. The results also indicate that career commitment is a partial mediating between IWVS and subjective SCS. Interesting findings show that CC is fully mediating the relation between EWVS and SCS. This finding may be used to help practitioners understand the various perspectives on career success and formulate career management policies to maintain and support their employee development.

Abstract

Based on the results of the Field Study at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic Machine Tool Workshop practice, duringthe metal cutting machining process, there is an interaction between the tool and the workpiece. The friction experienced bythe tool is caused by the flowing grunt surface and the surface of the workpiece that has been cut. As a result of this friction, the tool suffers from wear. The wear of this tool will increase to a certain extent. The length of time it takes to reach this wearlimit is defined as tool life. The factors that affect tool wear are temperature and cooling media on the average value of aresponse. From the data, it can be seen that the decrease in wear from temperature from 800 to 1000 0C there is a significantdecrease in the average response. For the refrigerant media factor, the difference in influence between salt, bromus oil, andSAE 20 oil was also seen, where salt provided the highest average HSS tool wear value, followed by bromus oil, and the lowest wear was SAE 20 oil of 0.066 mm. This indicates that the tool wear is lower and the tool is harder than the tool before heattreatment quanching at 1000 °C

Abstract

Malnutrition, especially the stunting category, is a big problem for the people in Pasaman today, because it has a broad impact on aspects of life which include health, social, culture and the economy. This study aims to identify the knowledge of the people in Pasaman about fulfilling nutrition at 1000 HPK and knowing the eating patterns of the Pasaman community at 1000 HPK. This study used qualitative research methods. Data was collected through participatory observation techniques and in-depth interviews. With the number of informants as many as 35 people. The results showed that in general, the community's knowledge of fulfilling nutrition in 1,000 HPK had received counseling and socialization from the village midwife and Posyandu cadres. However, this knowledge has not been seen in the people's diet at 1,000 HPK. The practice of daily eating patterns during the 1,000 HPK era was still the same as the  habits that occurred before there was counseling. Food for pregnant and lactating women is prioritized is a matter of taste and preference, not about the nutritional content of food. Likewise with baby food 0-6 years, mothers already know that babies must be given exclusive breastfeeding, but there are still some mothers who do not give breast milk, because they think that breast milk is not filling for babies.

Abstract

Jelawat fish (Leptobarbus hoevenii Blkr.) is one of the fish that is in great demand by the public. This production has problems with the body shape of fish fry which has many asymmetries and abnormalities. The cause of this cannot be ascertained, but the assumption is due to the influence of high pressure and water currents. For this reason, there needs to be clear research so that the exact cause is known. This study aims to see the fluctuations of asymmetry and abnormality in jelawat fish (L. hoeveni Blkr.) as a result of semi-intensive spawning. This research method is a sampling method on fish from semi-intensive spawning that is 2-3 cm in size. Then meristic measurements were taken and asymmetric fluctuations and abnormalities were calculated. The results of the study found that the value of number asymmetric fluctuations (FAn) ranged from 0.451 to 0. 864, while the magnitude asymmetric fluctuation (FAm) ranges from -0.044-0.053. For an abnormality of 1.05%, absolute length growth of 3.15 cm/head, absolute weight growth of 0.55 grams/head and survival rate of jellyfish larvae 99.5%.%, The results of water quality measurements were temperature range from 26-28.1oC, pH 6.7-7, dissolved oxygen of 4.7-5.3 mg/L, carbon dioxide of 5.3-8 mg/L and ammonia content in maintenance water of 0.001-0.011.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of adding probiotics to feed on the growth of African catfish (C. garipenus). The study used a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications, including feed without probiotics (A/control), Probiotic dose 4 ml/kg feed (B), Probiotic dose 8 ml/kg feed (C) and Probiotic dose 12 ml/kg feed (D). The test fish that will be used are African catfish seeds measuring 4.22 cm - 4.71 cm. The main test material that will be used is probitic (Lacto-Bact) in the form of flour which is dissolved in distilled water at a dose of 2% kg of feed. The containers used in this research were 12 aquariums measuring 70x40x30 cm with a water volume of 24 L. The parameters observed in this research included feed conversion ratio (FCR), absolute weight growth (PBM), absolute length growth (PPM), survival, proximate test of feed and water quality. The results of the research showed that there was a very significant development in the length and average length. The initial weight of fish at stocking ranged from 0.83-0.89 g/head and increased by 184.89%-333.88% to 2.37-3.81 g/fish. The initial average length of the test fish at the time of stocking ranged between 4.22-4.72 cm/fish and increased by 59.14% - 67.39% to 6.72 - 7.89 cm/fish. The FCR value ranges between 1.33-3.23. PBM values ranged from 1.54-2.93 g/head. PPM values range between 2.50-3.18 cm/head. The SR value ranges between 81.39% - 88.89%. The highest protein content in treatment D was 23.6015%. Feed protein for all types of feed treatment varies relatively in the range of 17.5058%-23.6015%. The results of the water quality analysis of the rearing media show that the water quality is still within the appropriate range for rearing African catfish.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is one of the most common diseases encountered in primary healthcare services and can be caused by various microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, and fungi. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of home visits in the management of ARI patients at Primary Health Center Batoh. The methods used include two home visits with a six-day interval, anamnesis, physical examination, and completion of a family folder consisting of a family genogram, family map, and family function evaluation using APGAR and SCREEM. The first home visit was conducted to collect basic patient data, provide health education, and identify risk factors in the home environment. The second visit evaluated patient adherence to therapy and changes in clinical conditions. The results of the study indicate that home visits help in monitoring patient conditions, providing more effective health education, and increasing family involvement in patient care. Additionally, home visits enable healthcare providers to identify risk factors in the home environment that may worsen the patient’s condition, such as smoking habits and poor sanitation. The discussion in this study highlights that a holistic approach through home visits can improve treatment effectiveness and patient adherence to medication. In conclusion, the home visit program has proven to be an effective strategy in managing ARI in primary healthcare services and has the potential to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Enhancing the implementation of this program is expected to become an integral part of family medicine approaches in primary healthcare facilities.
