Abstract

Kebijakan kurikulum 2013 antara lain menuntut pendidik untuk menentukan materi ajar yang sesuai dengan mencapai tujuan pembelajaran peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian yakni mendeskripsikan keselarasan kurikulum 2013 dengan buku teks bahasa indonesia materi teks deskripsi kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini yakni buku teks bahasa Indonesia materi teks deskripsi kelas VII SMP yang akan dikaji keselarasannya dengan kurikulum 2013 (Permendikbud No.37 Tahun 2018) tentang KI (kompetensi inti) dan KD (kompetensi dasar). Fokus penelitian yakni mendeskripsikan keselarasan kurikulum 2013 dengan buku teks bahasa Indonesia materi teks deskripsi kelas VII SMP. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yakni teknik baca catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni teknik analisis data mengalir. Hasil penelitian yang telah dipaparkan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku teks bahasa Indonesia materi teks deskripsi terbitan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan tahun 2017 yang berjudul, Bahasa Indonesia Kelas VII SMP sudah sesuai dan memiliki keselarasan dengan KI (kompetensi inti) dan KD (kompetensi dasar) kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

The low critical thinking ability of students in the chassis maintenance and power transfer learning so that the required competencies are not achieved. This study aims to analyze critical thinking skills in chassis maintenance and power transfer learning which is taught using the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematical (STEM) learning model and the conventional learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental type of research. The population in this study were students of class XI TKR 1 and XI TKR 2 as many as 69 students. Data collection techniques used documentation technique and test technique. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis to know the category of students’ critical thinking skills and inferential analysis, including normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis by using a t-test to know the comparison of students’ critical thinking skills in learning chassis maintenance and power transfer which is taught using the Science, Technology, Engineering, And Mathematical (STEM) learning model and conventional learning models. This study shows that descriptive analysis obtained a Mean of 83.49 that was classified into a very high category and very effective category. The t-test proves the data. The tvalue value is 8045, and the ttable is df 67 = 2,000, so it can be decided that H0 is rejected. Ha is accepted because tvalue > ttable, so it can be concluded that the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematical (STEM) learning model is effectively used to improve critical thinking skills compared to using conventional learning models.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kompetensi guru Bahasa Indonesia menggunakan Alat Penilaian Kompetensi Guru (APKG-2) melalui analisis video pembelajaran. Kompetensi guru memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang bermakna dan pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode model evaluasi kesenjangan (discrepancy evaluation), dengan data berupa dua video pembelajaran yang direkam dari SMPN 3 dan SMPN 6 Semarang. Instrumen APKG-2 digunakan untuk menilai berbagai aspek kompetensi guru, seperti pelaksanaan pembelajaran, interaksi kelas, penguasaan materi, serta evaluasi proses belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru pada video 1 memperoleh skor rata-rata 81, sedangkan pada video 2 sebesar 89, keduanya termasuk dalam kategori AB (lebih dari baik). Namun, ditemukan kelemahan dalam inovasi metode pengajaran, optimalisasi media pembelajaran, serta pelaksanaan evaluasi yang lebih menyeluruh. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan kualitas perencanaan pembelajaran, mendorong profesionalisme guru, memperbaiki prestasi dan motivasi siswa, serta mendorong inovasi metode pengajaran dan relevansi kurikulum untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran

Abstract

A group  called  SARILA  in Kauman,  Dadapayu,   Semanu,  Gunung­ kidul,  had  a problem  of low production   quality  and  capacity  in their  busi­ ness  of making  patilo  and  fried  cassava  chips  because  the  work  of cutting and scraping  the basic  material  for their products,  cassava,  was done manu­ ally by using  simple  tools that caused  the cassava  to break  when  cut so that the  resulting   chips  were  also  in  broken  conditions   and  the  manual  work caused the workers  to quickly become  exhausted.  Therefore,  the main objec­ tive of one voucher  program  was to enable the workers  to do their work me­ chanically  instead  of manually.It had  to be able  to design  and  produce  an easily-operated   cassava processing  machine  with a frame strong  enough  to withstand  vibrations  and do two kinds  of work,  cutting  and scraping  cassava,  easily,  accurately,  and simultaneously.    An  ergonomic   table  also  had  to  be  developed   to  ensure long-lasting   use  of the machine  in the  cassava  processing.   The  machine  at last successfully  produced  is 90 em in length,  60 em in width,  and 90 em in height,  designed  high enough  to enable the operator  to do the work easily in a standing-up  position.  Stainless  steel  plate  material  is applied  on all parts having direct  contact  with the cassava  processing.  The frame of the machine is made of 5-cm rectangular  steel profiles  to ensure  its being  strong  enough to withstand  operation.  An electrical  motor  with  a power  of  Y2  HP and pul­ ley-and-belt  transmission   aids the operation.   Such  transmission   enables  the cutting  and scraping  parts to operate  simultaneously   at different  speeds. The position  of the cutting tool can be adjusted  for desired  thickness.  Except the frame, all parts of the machine  are designed  according  to a knock-down  sys­ tem for easy replacement  of broken parts.The  result  of a performance   test  on the  machine  has  shown  that  itcan  be  operated   easily  without  the  operator   becoming   quickly  exhausted. Compared  to what is produced  in the old ways, the product  looks better; it is smoother,  and there  is less cassava  fibers.  The   product  capacity  of the ma­ chine  is about  50 kg every  50 minutes  from  its cutting  process  and  50 kg every  75 minutes  from  its scraping  process.  During  operation,   there  is no vibration on its frame. It shows that the construction design is strong enough to withstand the vibration of the motor rotation and cassava processing.Keywords: cassava, multipurpose machine, cutting and scraping

Abstract

Objective: This research investigates the use of the traditional song "Lir Ilir," popularized by Sunan Kalijaga, as a teaching tool to enhance students' spiritual and moral awareness at SD Al Hikmah Surabaya. It aims to explore how integrating this cultural element into classroom activities fosters students' understanding of moral values. Method: The study employed an interactive approach by integrating "Lir Ilir" into teaching activities, including discussions of the song's meaning, group singing, art projects, and storytelling. Challenges, such as explaining the symbolism within the lyrics, were addressed through the use of visual media and in-depth explanations. Results: The implementation demonstrated that using "Lir Ilir" as a teaching tool effectively enhanced students' moral and spiritual understanding. It encouraged active participation, self-awareness, and spiritual reflection. Despite initial challenges, the innovative teaching method successfully conveyed complex philosophical ideas through engaging and meaningful experiences. Novelty: This research highlights the integration of local cultural heritage into education, emphasizing the profound potential of traditional songs like "Lir Ilir" in nurturing a strong moral foundation among students. It showcases how culturally rooted teaching methods can create impactful and reflective learning experiences while preserving heritage values.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to examine the optimization of serial image media as an effective communicative tool for enhancing narrative writing skills among deaf students, addressing the challenges posed by limited language development and auditory impairments. Methods: A literature review approach was employed, analyzing 15 peer-reviewed articles published between 2018 and 2024. Articles were identified using targeted keywords such as "Ability to Write with Serial Images in Deaf Students" and underwent a rigorous selection process including identification, screening, and feasibility testing. Data synthesis was conducted using a narrative method to group findings based on measured outcomes. Results: The findings indicate that serial image media significantly improve the writing skills of deaf students by fostering engagement, enhancing comprehension, and strengthening memory retention. Students exhibited greater enthusiasm and motivation when learning through visual aids, which facilitated a deeper understanding of narrative structures. Novelty: This research underscores the critical role of visual media as a tailored instructional strategy to overcome linguistic barriers in deaf education. The study contributes new insights into inclusive teaching practices by demonstrating the high effectiveness of serial image media in improving narrative writing skills. Implication: The results emphasize the need for educators to integrate visual tools into language learning curricula to support students with special needs and enhance classroom inclusivity.

Abstract

Therapeutic communication is basic communication that a nursing assistant must have. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of field work practice in increasing vocational high school students' knowledge of therapeutic communication. The population of this study were students in class The sampling technique was purposive sampling technique, as many as 27 students. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental design with a pretest and posttest group design. The results of the Paired Samples Test obtained a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.015 < 0.050, indicating that there is an average difference between the pretest and posttest variables. This means that there is an influence of field work practice on students' therapeutic communication knowledge. Meanwhile, based on the One Sample Test, a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.050 was obtained, indicating that the average value of therapeutic communication knowledge after field work practice was not the same as 75. The conclusion is that the implementation of field work practices is not effective in increasing the therapeutic communication knowledge of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Lumajang for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kelayakan asesmen sumatif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas VII SMP di tiga sekolah berbeda. Asesmen sumatif dinilai berdasarkan kesesuaian soal dengan tujuan pembelajaran, kesesuaian level kognitif soal dengan capaian pembelajaran, dan kejelasan konstruksi soal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan guru Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua soal asesmen telah sepenuhnya sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran dan level kognitif yang diharapkan. Beberapa soal cenderung mengukur kemampuan mengingat (C1) padahal tujuan pembelajaran menuntut kemampuan analisis (C4) atau mencipta (C6). dari Penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan ketelitian guru dalam menyusun soal asesmen dengan mengacu pada tujuan pembelajaran dan taksonomi Bloom revisi, serta perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan mengenai penyusunan asesmen yang relevan dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a disease that can lead to complications in other organs, such as the lungs, which typically manifest after three years of DM onset. Mild symptoms often reduce public vigilance. Information and research on this topic are still rare. This study aims to determine the relationship between type 2 DM and pulmonary function disorders in individuals aged 40-65 years. This quantitative study employs a cross-sectional design. A total of 2,414 respondents were randomly selected. Cox regression analysis was used. The proportion of pulmonary function disorders in type 2 DM patients was 48.8%. A significant relationship was found, with a prevalence ratio of 1.99 (1.67-2.37; p=0.000) after controlling for age, sex, and smoking degree. Increasing awareness of pulmonary function testing in type 2 DM patients is an important consideration for preventing further complications
