Abstract

Perilaku kekerasan merupakan respon kemarahan maladaptif dalam bentuk perilaku menciderai diri, orang lain dan lingkungan, Perilaku kekerasan adalah alasan masuk yang utama di rumah sakit jiwa dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Lawang yaitu 538 kasus (53,01%) dengan rerata lama hari rawat di ruang intensif psikiatri 7 – 8 hari, lama hari rawat ditentukan oleh pemendekan fase intensif pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan asertif dalam memperpendek fase intensif dan menurunkan gejala perilaku kekerasan di ruang Intensive Psyciatric Care Unit (IPCU) RSJ.dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Lawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain “Quasi experimental pre-post test with control group”. Sample penelitian ini adalah klien Skizoprenia dengan perilaku kekerasan berjumlah 60 orang yang terdiri dari 30 orang kelompok perlakuan yang diberikan latihan asertif dan standar asuhan keperawatan perilaku kekerasan dan 30 orang kelompok kontrol yang hanya mendapatkan standar asuhan keperawatan perilaku kekerasan. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa fase intensif pasien lebih cepat pada kelompok perlakuan daripada kelompok kontrol dengan nilai p <0.001 dan didapatkan penurunan gejala perilaku kekerasan yang lebih besar pada kelompok perlakuan daripada kelompok kontrol dengan nilai p <0.001.Dapat disimpulkan bahwapemberian latihan asertif dapat memperpendek fase intensif dan menurunkan gejala perilaku kekerasan pasien oleh karena itu direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan di ruang perawatan intensif psikiatri. Abstract

Depresi merupakan masalah kejiwaan yang seringkali menyerang Lansia. Depresi adalah perasaan sedih dan pesimis, berhubungan dengan penderitaan,  berupa serangan pada diri sendiri atau perasaan marah yang dalam. Kondisi lain yang sering ditemui pada Lansia yaitu insomnia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kejadian depresi dan insomnia pada Lansia di Panti Werdha Tresno Mukti Turen Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian “Cross Sectional” dengan variabel independen (kejadian depresi) dan variabel dependen (kejadian insomnia). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan Total Sampling Technique dengan jumlah sampel 34 responden. Berdasarkan uji Chi-Square didapatkan data P value/nilai probabilitas <0,05 yakni 0,000, X2hitung (22,512) > X2tabel (7,815), dan R2 = 0,514. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara kejadian depresi dan insomnia pada Lansia di Panti Werdha Tresno Mukti Turen, Malang. Perlu dilakukan  penelitian lanjutan dengan menyempurnakan uji validitas pada setiap instrumen penelitian dan menggunakan pendekatan lainnya seperti Case Control Study Design. Kata Kunci: Depresi, Insomnia, Lansia.

Abstract

Overcrowding patients is a crisis  problem in hospital and plays a significant role as a front line in hospital which performing good and bad quality of care. Length of Stay (LOS) patients admission measurement indicator toward service process and patients density marker. Length of stay has important essence in reviewing process because helping to identify the cause of action delay and elongated LOS. EDLOS is influenced by input and trough put factor. Input factor: age, coming time, main complaint and co-morbidity. Trough put factor: triage level, door to doctor, the quickness in laboratory check, the quickness in specialist consultation and patients transfer to nursing room, staffing. This study is aimed to analyze the correlation of causing factor on action delay with LOS patients admission  in Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes Public Hospital Kupang. This study uses cross sectional approach and quota sampling by the number of 200 patients and nurses also doctors. Data was collected by observation sheet. Result of this study shows that there are significant correlation between co-morbidity with LOS patients admission (p value = 0,001 and r = - 0,227), between the quickness of specialist consultation with LOS patients admission (p value = 0,001 and r = 0,238) and between patients transfer to nursing room LOS patients admission (p value = 0,000 and r = 0,699). Based on the result of linear regression test, it is concluded that factor that has very close correlation with LOS patients admission patients transfer to nursing room (p value < 0,001, regression coefficient 0,015 and correlation coefficient 0,774). Conclusion: co-morbidity, specialist consultation and patients transfer to nursing room is LOS patients admission predictor. Developing centralized bed control dan transporter is mandatory for decrease overcrowding and LOS patients admission in emergency department.

Abstract

The incident of Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) increased every year. One of effort to enhance survival rate due to the incident is by increasing the number of bystander CPR. Besides of a good knowledge and skill about CPR, the tendency of someone for willing or unwilling to behave as a bystander CPR is strongly influenced by their behavioral intention. The aims of this research was to analyze various factors that influence behavioral intention of nursing students to become a bystander CPR. This was a cross-sectional study with proportional sampling tecnique. As a sample of this study were 108 students from various nursing institution in Malang. Multivariat analysis with logistic regression was used to identify the most dominant factor which influencing behavioral intention. Logistic regression showed the following result: age p=0,341, OR=1,683; gender p=0,022, OR=3,113; CPR experience=0,327, OR=1,808 and knowledge: p=0,007, OR=3,101. The result of this study conclude that knowledge about CPR is the most dominant predictor factor in influencing behavioral intention.

Abstract

Acute Coronary Syndromes is the leading cause of short-term and long –term mortality. An aggressive treatment approach has the potential to change the prognosis of patients with ACS, although its depends on risk factors. There are several risk scores  such as Thrombholysis in Myocardial Infarction (TIMI), Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events (GRACE), and Killip. The aim of this study is to analyse the differences of correlation of TIMI, GRACE, and Killip risk scores as predictor Length Of Stay patients with Non St-Elevation Myocard Infarction ACS. The method of this study utilized an analytic observational design with the cohort retrospective. The research was conducted at RSUD Dr.Iskak Tulungagung used 98 samples of medical records patient with NSTEMI ACS in the past 8 months (January-August 2017). The data collection techniques was completing risk score of TIMI, GRACE, and Killip and Length of Stay patient in ICCU ward. The results and analyse of Spearman Rank showed that TIMI has p = 0,000 r = 0.466,  GRACE p = 0,000 r = 0.598, and Killip p = 0,000 r = 0.441 (p < 0,05), so that it can be said that there was  significant differences between the risk score of TIMI, GRACE and Killip as predictor prognosis patient with NSTEMI ACS. It can be concluded that the TIMI, GRACE and Killip risk scores have correlation as predictor prognosis patient with NSTEMI ACS, which is GRACE risk score has superior to TIMI and Killip.

Abstract

Proper, readable, and complete documentation will have an impact on the quality of care and defense of potential malpractice suits, may be used as legal evidence in the event of a claim, but much of the nursing documentation is found to be incompatible or does not contain the necessary information in the case of the judiciary, lack of records or documentation in the patient’s medical record often hampers the exercise of the protection of nursing professional rights, both legally and administratively. The purpose of this research is to know the relation of workload factor based on workload assessment with the completeness of nursing care documentation by the nurses in the room IGD RSU. Anutapura Palu and RSU. Undata Palu. This research use correlation analytic design with cross sectional approach with total sampling to 65 samples period from 25 March 2017 until 25 April 2017. in IGD RSU room. Anutapura Palu and RSU. Undata Palu. From result of bivariate analysis known that there is correlation between work load factor with completeness of nursing care documentation with p value = 0,022. The result of regression test showed that the work load factor has regression coefficient value is -15.648 (negative value), which means that the higher workload, the percentage of completeness of the documentation of nursing care will be lower.

Abstract

Undertaking stock punishment is an action to immobilized individuals that suffer mental health disorders. It is mostly done by placing woods on individuals' ankles. They are designed to restrict the patients' movements and made from wooden bars. The patients are chained or locked in a special room. A community leader, as the leader of certain people, has important roles in undertaking the stocks. It is done by considering various reasons based on the constructed understanding and emerging assumptions in the middle of society. This research aims to explore the reasons and hindrances of the community leader in releasing the stocks undertaken on individuals with mental health disorders. The applied research method is qualitative research with an interpretative phenomenology. 7 participants were selected by using purposive sampling. Then, an analysis was carried out by the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The findings dealing with the reasons for the community leader to undertake the stocks consisted of two themes. They dealt with the administered medication to recover individuals with mental health disorders and to protect them, their families, and society. Meanwhile, the hindrances of the community leader in discharging or releasing the punishment dealt with the difficulty to get psychiatric service. The conclusions are the stocks reasons deal with a lack of the community leader's understanding to care for the individuals with mental health disorders and the necessity of active participation of medical officers. Thus, the people could obtain maximum psychiatric service

Abstract

Fatigue is the primary complaint most frequently reported by patients on hemodialysis. The importance of knowing the factors related to fatigue is a strategy that can be carried out by health workers in optimally applying interventions to reduce patient fatigue problems. This systematic review aimed to determine the factors associated with fatigue in patients undergoing hemodialysis. The systematic review method began by identifying research articles in the Pubmed, ProQuest, Ebsco, and ScienceDirect databases in 2011–2020. Review protocol was using PRISMA. Based on the results of the analysis, it was obtained 23 articles that discussed demographic factors, physiological factors, socioeconomic factors, situational factors, and psychological factors that could be associated with fatigue in hemodialysis patients. There is much to learn about fatigue in patients undergoing hemodialysis, including causative factors, assessment of severity, and effective management of fatigue so that it can be used as a benchmark for determining appropriate interventions.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a health problem that will affect the health status of patients. Motivational interviewing a counseling technique focusing on clients and it is designed for helping individuals explore and accomplish ambivalence in behavior. This systematic review aimed at describing effectiveness motivationaI interviewing on self-management of diabetes mellitus type 2 patients. There are 1359 articles of 526 ScienceDirect articles, 422 ProQuest, 290 PubMed, and 121 Ebsco articles. The systematic review method began by identifying 20 articles from four electronic databases for previous studies that were published during 2011-2021. The results of the systematic review obtained that motivational interviewing can provide improved self-management and control blood glucose DM type 2 patients. The conclusion motivational interviewing can affect the patient's self-management especially on blood glucose profile, dietary compliance, quality of life, self-efficacy, HbA1c levels of DM type 2 patients.

Abstract

The pre-hospital emergency service was the first guard of nursing and treatment delivery. The pre-hospital ambulance service could be used to offer first aid to the patient or victim who experienced trauma or non-trauma with unpredictable condition. The improvement of service quality on emergency sector was required to assure that the health service was given and performed well. This research was aimed to analyze the correlation between nurse practice and pre-hospital ambulance service satisfaction in Bali. The correlative analytic research method and cross sectional approach were exerted to accomplish this research. The total sample was 271 respondents which were consisted of 144 patients and 127 nurses. The result of Spearman-rank referred p value 0.024; r 0.189 which it was indicated a significant relation between nurse practice and pre-hospital ambulance service satisfaction in Bali. The nurse practice was instituted through educational degree and training experience. The improvement of nurse practice value was in line with the pre-hospital ambulance service satisfaction value in Bali.
