Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat strategi kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pembelajaran Guru di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo, factor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran guru di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo dan Solusi dari Kepala Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pembelajaran Guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi kepala Madrasah dalam peningkatan mutu guru,yaitu: 1) Keadaan mutu guru yaitu jumlah guru keseluruhan 68 orang, berijazah S1 50 orang, S2 18 orang . guru yang PNS 52 orang, dan guru yang GTT 14 orang. Semua guru membuat Silabus, RPP, penilai dan Jurnal. 2) Strategi Kepala Madrasah dalam peningkatan guru, a) Menyelenggarakan penataran (workshop) Madrasah. b) Memberi kesempatan kepada guru untuk meningkatkan pendidikannya. c) menyarankan guru agar melanjutkan ke S2. d) mningkatkan sikap profesionalisme guru. Yaitu kepala Madrasah menjalankan supervise untuk penilain guru setiap satu semester , dan e) menyarankan agar guru selalu rajin membaca, dan belajar, 3) kendala yang dihadapi kepala Madrasah dalam peningkatan mutu guru, antara lain: kemampuan teknologi guru yang kurang, kedisiplinan guru kurang jarak rumah dengan Madrasah jauh. (4) solusi yang diberikan oleh kepala Madrasah dalam peningkatan mutu guru yaitu menganjurkan guru agar kursus komputer, memberikan pembinaan, motivasi, ,dan saran agar guru berangkat lebih pagi dari rumahnya.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif al-Qur’an melalui tafsir al-Azhar, sehingga pemahaman terhadap pendidikan karakter lebih bervariasi dan lebih komprehensif. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) yang datanya didapat dari kajian literature dengan pendekatan secara teoritis dan filososfis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam Q.S Luqman ayat 12-19 Tafsir Al-Azhar karya Hamka tersebut adalah nilai syukur, nilai larangan kufur, nilai tauhid, nilai larangan syirik, nilai memuliakan kedua orang tua, nilai taat kepada kedua orang tua, nilai percaya hari pembalasan, nilai perintah salat, nilai melakukan yang ma’ruf dan mencegah yang munkar, nilai sabar, nilai larangan sombong, nilai kesederhanaan dalam kehidupan sosial.

Abstract

Conflict doesn't only occur in a society or organizational group; it can also arise within each individual. Dealing with conflict requires accurate handling through conflict management. By examining and delving into conflict management strategies, it can help minimize conflicts in society, organizations, and educational institutions. This study aims to examine conflict management strategies from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. This study employs a qualitative approach with literature study/data collection techniques originating from books, articles, and journals that discuss conflict management strategies from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. The study's findings indicate that conflict management is a strategy for groups, organizations, and individuals to anticipate disputes and disagreements among individuals. Conflicts can stem from human and organizational factors. Approaches that can be implemented in conflict include using compromising styles, avoiding styles, dominating styles, following the will, and collaborative styles. Conflict management strategies that can be implemented from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith include negotiation, verification, consultation, arbitration, and reconciliation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the firmness of educators in giving sanctions to students at MAN 1 Buol, this study also aims to ensure tthat the giving of sanctions continues to prioritize educational principles, in accordance with government regulations and the code of ethics of educators, and involves good communication between educators, parents and students. The research method used in this study is a secriptive qualitative method with a field approach to describe the phenomenon in depth. Date were collected through observation and interview, with five educators and five students, and using documentation related to the research. The results of the study showed that the firmness of educators in giving sanctions includes three aspects: enforcement of rules, self control, and creation of a harmonious atmosphere. Sanctions are given in stages, starting from light sanctions (verbal warnings, confiscation of goods), moderate sanctions (calling parents, statement letters), to severe sanctions (suspension or expulsion from School). The impact of the firmness of giving sanctions is an increase in student discipline, although it is necessary to be aware of the sanctions given are not in accordance with the rules set, such as trauma from students.

Abstract

This study was conducted to reveal the effectiveness of the age limit for accepting new students on the learning performance of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at MIN 1 Bolaang Mongondow. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach and involved teachers and students as informants. The results showed that the age limit for accepting new students had a significant effect on learning performance. Students who enter school at the age of 7, in accordance with the regulations, tend to have better cognitive and emotional maturity, enabling them to follow lessons more effectively. Conversely, students who enter school before the age of 7 often face learning difficulties and require additional support. The study also identified differences in academic performance between students admitted within the age limit and those admitted outside the age limit. Older students (7 years old) demonstrate better readiness for learning, while younger students tend to have lower cognitive levels and require more support in the learning process. Based on the results of this study, the author recommends that teachers, parents, and students improve the quality of teaching and learning by adapting teaching methods, providing extra support for younger students, and fostering self-confidence and independence in students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis Peran Al-Qur'an dan Hadist sebagai Landasan Pengendalian Pendidikan Moral dalam Pembentukan Karakter Siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tinjauan literatur. Hal ini melibatkan analisis informasi dan data yang berkaitan dengan kajian strategi pengendalian pendidikan sekolah dari sudut pandang Al-Quran dan Hadits. Berdasarkan studi literatur maka penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya menanamkan nilai-nilai keagamaan melalui kurikulum yang mengintegrasikan ajaran Al-Qur'an dan Hadist. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan mengadakan pelajaran agama yang mendalam serta kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang berlandaskan pada ajaran Islam. Penerapan sistem disiplin yang adil dan transparan di sekolah, sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip yang diajarkan dalam Islam. Dalam konteks ini, guru berperan sebagai teladan yang baik dan mampu memberikan bimbingan yang positif. Serta pentingnya kolaborasi antara orang tua, guru, dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan atmosfer pendidikan yang sehat. Dengan melibatkan semua pihak, diharapkan akan tercipta sinergi yang mendukung pengendalian pendidikan yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, pengendalian pendidikan dalam perspektif Al-Qur'an dan Hadist menekankan pada keseimbangan antara pengetahuan, moralitas, dan pengembangan karakter, sehingga menciptakan generasi yang tidak hanya cerdas secara akademis, tetapi juga berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of data, information, knowledge, and wisdom-based learning in Islamic Religious Education and its impact on the development of students' character and understanding of religion. Data-based learning is intended to tailor the material to the individual needs of students, while relevant and contextual information helps students understand religious values more deeply. Furthermore, wisdom in teaching decision-making plays a crucial role in shaping students' positive character. The results of the study indicate that the application of data, information, knowledge, and wisdom-based learning can create a learning environment that effectively supports the development of students' character and religious understanding. Holistic learning, integrated through educational elements such as objectives, educators, students, educational tools, and the learning environment, has a positive impact on enhancing the quality of religious education and character formation. This study provides new insights into strengthening by optimizing the use of data, information, and wisdom in teaching.

Abstract

This paper aims to express the values of local wisdom that belong to the people of Gorontalo, Indonesia. The values of local wisdom need to be explored to anticipate the symptoms of religious radicalism that began to emerge in the life of the people of Gorontalo city. Using phenomenology method, this study analyzes the data obtained through interviews, observation, documentation, and focus group discussions. The results of the study show that Gorontalo people have many local wisdom values, such as huyula; dulohupa;Modungohe ta Uda’a; Mopiyohu to bisala wawu huhutu; dan Tombulu. In the local wisdom found the value of mutual cooperation, deliberation, adherence to custom , tolerance, love for the motherland, moral education, self-purification, deepening of Islamic teachings, benevolence, and virtue. This study concludes that Gorontalo people have internal strength as social capital to anticipate the symptoms of religious radicalism.

Abstract

Curriculum renewal is a strategic agenda in responding to the challenges of globalization, technological developments, and the demands of 21st century competencies. This article discusses the urgency of curriculum transformation in Indonesian education with a focus on the implementation of the Independent Curriculum as an effort to improve the quality and relevance of learning. The main objective of this study is to explore the dynamics of curriculum renewal implementation in various geographical contexts and identify the determinants of its success. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site case study type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation from 15 informants in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas, then analyzed thematically. The results of the study indicate a significant implementation gap between regions, influenced by teacher readiness, institutional support, and infrastructure. These findings enrich the understanding of the importance of a contextual approach and policy differentiation in curriculum implementation. In conclusion, curriculum renewal will only be effective if supported by adaptive policies, ongoing training, and equal access to educational technology. Further research is recommended to use a longitudinal approach and data triangulation to deepen understanding of the process of sustainable educational transformation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas efektivitas konseling berbasis pendidikan agama islam dalam mengatasi masalah social peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Kabila Bone, Kabupaten Bone Bolango, Provinsi Gorontalo. Fokus permasalahan penelitian mencakup: (1) efektivitas konseling berbasis pendidikan agama islam di SMP Negeri 1 Kabila Bone, (2) efektivitas konseling tersebut dalam mengatasi masalah social peserta didik, serta (3) kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam proses pelaksanaannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adala untuk mengetahui sejauh mana konseling berbasis pendidikan agama islam dapat membantu peserta didik dalam menghadapi dan menyelesaikan masalah social yang terjadi di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru bimbingan dan konseling, guru mata pelajaran pendidikan agama islam, serta peserta didik yang mengalami masalah social. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling islam yang dilaksanakan berdampak positif terhadap peserta didik dalam mengatasi masalah social seperti bolos pelajaran, ketidakhadiran tanpa keterangan, dan perkelahian,. Proses konseling dilakukan dengan pendekatan religius melalui pembacaan doa, penanaman nilai tawadhu, kesabaran, serta motivasi keagamaan. Melalui konseling ini, peserta didik mampu mengelola emosi, memperbaiki hubungan social, serta meningkatkan kemampuan adaptasi dan pengendalian diri. Dengan demikian, konseling berbasis pendidikan agama islam efektif sebagai sarana penanganan masalah social peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Kabila Bone Kabupaten Bone Bolango.
