Abstract

Split stone is a type of irregular stone formed from sedimentary rock deposits and sandstone due to weathering and the influence of abrasion in rivers, so split stones are formed. The utilization of split stone as an embankment can be optimized by varying the angle of inclination of the embankment itself. Coastal dikes were built to mitigate tidal floods that occur in coastal areas and cause physical, material, economic and natural losses. Rob flood is a natural disaster characterized by the release of sea water to land. Rob flooding is caused by land subsidence, tidal waves and the absence of wave barriers. From the results of this research, it was found that the dike with the smallest angle is the most optimal embankment if used on the coast, because the more surface area of the embankment that breaks the waves, the less likely the sea waves overflow into land.   Keywords: embankment, split stone, rob flood, coastal.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the reason of Hasan, the protagonist being anatheist and how the spiritual changing process from a devoted muslim into an atheistand how Islamic thougth denies ateism. The problems in this research are 1) whatcausing Hasan becoming an atheist; 2) how Hasan spiritually changes from adevoted muslim into an atheist; 3) how Islamic thought denies atheism.This studyuses qualitative descriptive method in literature review. Based on the study, it isconcluded that the causes of Hasan’s spiritual changing from a devoted muslim intoan ateist are his weaknees in Islamic thinking tradition and love factor which doesnot follow religious norms and ethics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze seismic wave propagation and amplification in the Java subduction zone using a numerical modeling approach. The method integrates forward modeling and seismic inversion within a two-dimensional finite difference framework to simulate wave behavior in heterogeneous subsurface conditions. Secondary data, including seismic velocity, density, and earthquake parameters, are used to construct the subsurface model. The results show that seismic wave propagation is strongly influenced by variations in subsurface properties. High amplification occurs in regions characterized by low shear-wave velocity and thick sediment layers. Quantitatively, amplification exceeds 2.0 in areas with shear-wave velocity below 2000 m/s, while regions with higher velocity (>3000 m/s) exhibit lower amplification values. The application of multi-parameter inversion improves the resolution of subsurface structures and enhances model accuracy. The spatial distribution of amplification identifies zones that are more susceptible to strong ground motion, confirming the dominant role of subsurface heterogeneity in controlling seismic response. This study provides a quantitative and dynamic framework for understanding seismic wave behavior and offers a robust basis for seismic hazard assessment and earthquake risk mitigation in the Java subduction zone

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini mengeksplorasi interseksionalitas antara kerusakan lingkungan dan ketidakadilan sosial dalam puisi Dongeng dari Utara karya Made Adnyana Ole. Menggunakan kerangka ekokritik, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana teks sastra berfungsi sebagai "arsip forensik" yang mengungkap penindasan berlapis berdasarkan gender, kelas sosial, dan geografi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa degradasi ekologis di wilayah "Utara" merupakan manifestasi kapitalisme predatoris yang memarjinalkan nelayan dan petani. Krisis ini mengakibatkan alienasi ruang hidup dan terputusnya warisan ekologis antargenerasi. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa restorasi alam harus inklusif terhadap keadilan sosial guna mencegah gentrifikasi hijau oleh elit kekuasaan. Abstract: This article explores the intersectionality between environmental degradation and social injustice in the poetry collection Dongeng dari Utara by Made Adnyana Ole. Using an ecocritical framework, the study analyzes how literary texts function as a “forensic archive” that reveals layered oppression based on gender, social class, and geography. The findings indicate that ecological degradation in the “North” region is a manifestation of predatory capitalism that marginalizes fishermen and farmers. This crisis leads to the alienation of living spaces and the disruption of intergenerational ecological heritage. The study concludes that environmental restoration must be inclusive of social justice to prevent green gentrification by the ruling elite.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membedah nilai sosial dan identitas kebangsaan dalam lirik lagu Syubbanul Wathan karya KH. Abdul Wahab Chasbullah melalui kacamata sosiolinguistik. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menganalisis diksi dalam konteks sosial-politik era perjuangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan istilah religius merupakan simbol perlawanan ideologis terhadap kolonialisme. Secara sosiolinguistik, hibriditas bahasa Arab dan Indonesia mencerminkan identitas religiusitas yang berakar pada nasionalisme. Lagu ini berfungsi sebagai instrumen mobilisasi sosial melalui kekuatan tutur yang persuasif. Simpulannya, Syubbanul Wathan berhasil membangun identitas kebahasaan transformatif yang menyatukan nilai keagamaan dan kebangsaan sebagai penguat kohesi sosial.

Abstract

Abstract:Thestudy investigatesand evaluates impactsof performance evaluation and company’s culture on job satisfaction and employees’ performance. Methodof data collection is using questionnaire. Data was analyzed by path analysis with decomposition model of causal influence between variables. The resultsindicate thatthe influence of two variables -performance evaluation and Company’s culture have direct and indirect effect to employees’ performance. The other variable (job satisfaction) has direct effect to employees’performance.

Abstract

Abstrak— Perkembangan teknologi Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) telah menjadi salah satu inovasi paling signifikan dalam revolusi digital, khususnya di bidang industri kreatif. Teknologi ini memungkinkan mesin menghasilkan karya visual, audio, maupun teks yang menyerupai hasil buatan manusia melalui proses pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) dan analisis data masif. Dalam konteks desain grafis, kemunculan platform seperti Midjourney, DALL-E, dan Adobe Firefly telah mengubah cara kerja praktisi desain di Indonesia. Generative AI kini digunakan tidak hanya sebagai alat bantu ideasi, tetapi juga sebagai kolaborator dalam menciptakan komposisi visual yang kompleks, cepat, dan inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam bagaimana pemanfaatan Generative AI berdampak terhadap peningkatan produktivitas sekaligus menimbulkan implikasi etika kerja pada praktisi desain grafis di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Generative AI secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, mempercepat proses ideasi, serta memperluas ruang eksplorasi kreatif. Desainer yang mengintegrasikan teknologi ini mampu menghasilkan karya dengan variasi desain yang lebih kaya dalam waktu yang lebih singkat. Namun, peningkatan produktivitas tersebut tidak lepas dari munculnya berbagai tantangan etis yang harus dihadapi. Isu seperti orisinalitas karya, kejujuran profesional, tanggung jawab moral terhadap klien, serta transparansi dalam penggunaan AI menjadi sorotan utama. Beberapa desainer menganggap AI sebagai “partner kreatif” yang membantu mengoptimalkan potensi ide, sementara sebagian lainnya menilai bahwa ketergantungan berlebihan terhadap AI dapat mengikis makna artistik dan nilai orisinalitas dalam karya seni. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan Generative AI memberikan dampak positif terhadap produktivitas, tetapi juga menuntut adanya kesadaran etis yang tinggi dari para praktisi.

Abstract

This study examines the physical, electrical, and magnetic properties of iron sand from Bayuran Beach to evaluate its potential as a functional material in advanced technology applications. Iron sand samples with particle sizes between 100 and 300 mesh were analyzed using the two-point method, LCR meter, and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). The XRD results indicate that the samples are dominated by the magnetite phase (Fe₃O₄). The 150 mesh sample showed the highest resistivity of 3.38 × 10⁹ Ω·m and a maximum capacitance of 0.16 nF. The magnetic susceptibility value reached 3.34 × 10⁻⁴ m³/kg, with a magnetic mineral content of 79.80% and a density of 2.52 g/cm³. These findings indicate that Bayuran iron sand has strong potential as a soft magnetic material for inductor cores and magnetic field sensors, microwave absorbers for electromagnetic applications, and dielectric substrates in electronic systems. The capacitance variation between dry and wet conditions also indicates its potential as a humidity sensor. Furthermore, the presence of the Fe₃O₄ phase opens up opportunities for further development as an electrode material in supercapacitors or other energy storage devices through morphological engineering. Overall, this local iron sand is a promising candidate for development into a natural resource-based functional material.

Abstract

The Fe₂O₃–TiO₂ composite sintered at 900 °C exhibits a phase transformation from Fe₃O₄ to Fe₂O₃, which significantly affects the functional properties of the material. Composition variations (0:100 to 90:10) result in clear differences in densification, porosity, resistivity, and piezoelectric response. An increase in the Fe₂O₃ fraction strengthens densification but decreases piezoelectric voltage due to limited dipole movement. In contrast, the dominance of TiO₂ favors high resistivity while producing a maximum voltage of 0.01 V at a 10:90 composition. These results confirm that the balance of the Fe₂O₃–TiO₂ ratio determines the optimal combination of properties, as well as underscore the potential of this composite as an environmentally friendly lead-free piezoelectric material for sensor and energy device applications.

Abstract

One application of Grover’s Search Algorithm to large, unsorted databases can be found in seismic data, which is a collection of data with no specific order or structure that continues to grow over time. The Grover’s algorithm was implemented to detect tectonic activity in Indonesia based on earthquake magnitude and depth parameters. The data used consists of 5000 earthquake events in Indonesia from 2019 to 2024, obtained from United States Geological Survey (USGS). The target criteria were defined as earthquakes with a magnitude  and a depth km. The research focused on the amplitude amplification mechanism through the application of a quantum oracle and a quantum diffusion, which increased the probability of finding target data in each iteration. The implementation was carried out using Python and Qiskit. Simulation results showed that both Grover’s algorithm and the classical search method successfully identified 353 target data points. However, Grover’s algorithm required only 3 iterations, whereas the classical method required 5000 iterations. The distribution of target data indicates dominant tectonic activity in North Maluku, papua, and the western Sumatra subduction zone. Grover’s algorithm further demonstrates a computational advantage thorugh a quadratic speedup, reducing the time complexity from  in the classical approach to  in the quantum approach.
