Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of leadership supervision in efforts to improve the performance quality of Civil Servants (PNS) in the Economic Affairs Section at the Regional Secretariat of Langkat Regency. The research findings indicate that the effectiveness of supervision greatly depends on clear objectives, performance indicators, periodic evaluations, and open communication between leaders and staff. Although there are challenges such as ineffective communication and imbalanced workloads, proposed solutions include improving communication and utilizing technology to enhance supervision and employee performance. Optimal supervision has been shown to play a key role in improving PNS performance, with an emphasis on monitoring, evaluation, and skill development. Despite challenges like limited resources and ineffective communication, solutions such as training, open communication, and technology can improve supervision efficiency. Most PNS show a positive attitude towards management and supervision, although there is still room for improvement in communication and skill development. Going forward, it is expected that supervision will become more structured, technology-based, and communicative to support the achievement of organizational goals more efficiently and enhance public service quality.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) aims to address the communication competency gaps in preaching faced by the administrators of the Center for Muslim Student Studies and Preaching (PUSDAMM) at FBS UNM amidst the currents of pluralism and the development of digital campus communication. The solution offered is training and mentoring. This activity is conducted using a proportional method consisting of Counseling, Exercise, Demonstration, and Simulation (each 25%), followed by Reflection. The results of this Community Service Program (PkM) resulted in the implementation of a Da'wah Communication Model based on Re-linguistic principles, which significantly improved partner competencies, as evidenced by the average score increasing from 62.5 to 88.9 in three aspects: expanded conceptual understanding, the ability to design persuasive and linguistically-based da'wah discourse, and the ability to apply the model in field practice. Overall, this activity successfully strengthened the capacity for polite, contextual, and productive da'wah communication, supporting the development of students' religious character.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of ventriloquism as an innovative instructional strategy in classroom learning at SMP Negeri 2 Kotabaru. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research aims to explore how ventriloquism functions as an interactive pedagogical method and to examine its impact on student engagement, confidence, communication skills, and learning outcomes. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving teachers, students, and school stakeholders. The findings reveal that ventriloquism-based instruction significantly enhances student engagement and participation by transforming passive classroom dynamics into active and dialogic learning environments. Students demonstrated increased confidence in expressing ideas, reduced anxiety in speaking, and improved communication skills through interactions with the puppet. The use of character-based dialogue and storytelling also contributed to stronger conceptual understanding and better knowledge retention. Additionally, ventriloquism fostered a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting emotional safety and collaborative learning. From the teacher’s perspective, the innovation stimulated creativity and reflective practice, encouraging more engaging instructional design. The study concludes that ventriloquism represents a low-cost, flexible, and culturally relevant instructional innovation aligned with the goals of the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly in supporting student-centered learning and character development. Despite challenges related to training and curriculum constraints, ventriloquism shows strong potential as a scalable pedagogical strategy for enhancing learning quality in Indonesian classrooms

Abstract

Empirical facts show that every bank has made improvements in service quality, both related to customer risk guarantees, as well as service conveniences and features to create customer convenience. One of the efforts made by banks in order to optimize services is the availability of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy for improving ATM services in order to increase the satisfaction of customers at NTB Syariah Bank by taking the study area at the Bima Soekarno Hatta Branch Office (BO). This research use descriptive-qualitative approach. This research data collection method uses interviews with research informants from the service provider side, in this case, Bank NTB Syariah KC Bima Soekarno Hatta and service users (customers, entrepreneurs, BPKAD Bima City & District and other stakeholders). The analytical tool used with qualitative analysis with data validity test using triangulation. The results showed the strategy of NTB Syariah Bank Bima Soekarno Hatta BO in the five dimensions of services, including: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy have a positive effect on customer satisfaction of ATM users.

Abstract

Science learning in the 21st century demands a transformation from conventional approaches toward student-centered approaches to improve science literacy. This study aims to describe the concepts, theoretical foundations, implementation steps, as well as challenges and solutions in experimental learning strategies in schools and madrasas. The experimental learning strategy provides direct experience for students to prove concepts through scientific methods. This writing uses a qualitative descriptive method with literature study analysis and a review of best practices at MTs Darul Falah Enrekang on biotechnology material. The results show that experimental learning based on constructivism theory and experiential learning is able to significantly improve conceptual understanding and science process skills. Implementation at MTs Darul Falah proved an increase in students' average scores from 70 to 87. Despite facing challenges in the form of limited facilities and time, creative solutions such as the use of local materials and virtual laboratories proved effective. In conclusion, the experimental strategy is highly relevant for improving the quality of science learning as long as it is supported by teacher competence and creativity in resource management.

Abstract

The growing demands of twenty-first-century education require Islamic schools to integrate advanced cognitive competencies with moral and spiritual formation in ways that are pedagogically coherent and contextually meaningful. This study examines the implementation of the Multidimensional Project Model at SMPIT Al-Izzah Kotabaru as an innovative framework for merging Deep Learning principles with the Islamic educational paradigm of tarbiyah. Employing a descriptive qualitative case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with Grade 8 teachers and students, and documentation analysis, supported by triangulation to ensure credibility. The findings indicate that the model effectively bridges disciplinary boundaries by positioning scientific inquiry within spiritually grounded learning experiences. Students demonstrated noticeable improvement in collaboration, task distribution, and conflict resolution key components of 21st-century skills. Importantly, these improvements were closely associated with the internalization of Islamic values such as amanah (trustworthiness), ihsan (excellence), and khalifah fil ard (stewardship of the Earth). Through ecosystem-based projects, students perceived environmental responsibility not only as a scientific requirement but also as an expression of religious duty, thereby strengthening their sense of purpose and accountability. The study concludes that integrating Deep Learning with tarbiyah-oriented project work produces holistic learning outcomes that cultivate both intellectual depth and spiritual consciousness. The Multidimensional Project Model serves as a replicable micro-level innovation for Islamic schools implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, offering a practical strategy to unify academic achievement and character development. Further research is recommended to develop measurable indicators for spiritual competencies and to explore cross-grade expansion of the model.

Abstract

The business concept in the digital era is now changing all lines from offline buying and selling transactions to online buying and selling transactions. Through this business concept, the existence of the internet or e-commerce only makes buying and selling transactions or legal relationships that occur shorter, easier and simpler. An agreement in the e-commerce transaction takes place, will relate to the parties who make the transaction. The purpose of this study is to find out how buying and selling online transactions on online websites, such as Bukala, Bukalapak, Shopee, Facebook, WahatsApp. etc. during the covid 19 pandemic and to find out the positive and negative impacts that arise in online buying and selling transactions according to business concepts in the economy. Digital banking and e-banking are bank products that are currently in great demand by the public. Especially in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic. The PSBB policy issued by the government has limited physical economic activity. This makes many people who want to carry out economic activities that on average depend a lot on banks, being unable to do it smoothly. In general, people make buying and selling transactions by meeting directly between the seller and the buyer, and even before the existence of currency as a means of payment, buying and selling transactions were carried out by bartering or exchanging goods between people who needed the goods with each other. Along with the times, new technologies began to emerge that make it easier for someone to do their work. One such technology is the Internet. The internet has brought changes to human activities in an effort to fulfill all their needs, because the internet can open up a world that is so wide and is able to provide various information and facilities needed. The method used in the research uses normative research, namely a library research by examining library materials related to the object under study. This study uses a statutory approach and a case approach. The analysis used is in the form of qualitative analysis, namely data analysis by providing a description of the findings to answer the problems that occur. One of the facilities provided by internet media is buying and selling activities through electronic media or commonly called E-commerce. E-commerce is mostly done by anyone, especially the modern business community because it is felt that it can streamline time, so that someone can transact with anyone and at any time without meeting face to face or know each other in trade. They only base buying and selling transactions on mutual trust, so that the sale and purchase agreements that occur between the parties are also carried out electronically, therefore there is no agreement file as in conventional buying and selling transactions. Although there are conveniences provided by e-commerce, it turns out that there is also a factor that hinders the implementation of e-commerce which turns out to be problematic for the implementation of e-commerce itself. One of them is the seller's responsibility if he defaults in buying and selling through e-commerce.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach that aims to describe the positive and negative language politeness strategies used by students when communicating with lecturers in TikTok content creator @dosentraveler. The data sources in this study are twenty-eight contents from TikTok creator @dosentraveler published in 2024 to 2025. The results of this study indicate that students use fifteen positive language politeness strategies from Brown and Levinson's theory, some of which are predominantly used, namely paying attention to the likes, desires, and needs of the interlocutor, showing speech that has the same perception as the interlocutor, showing the speaker's understanding of the interlocutor's desires, and giving gifts. Meanwhile, students also use ten negative language politeness strategies from Brown and Levinson's theory, some of which are predominantly used, namely minimizing coercion and giving respect.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ standard language skills in terms of phoneme pronunciation, word usage, and sentence construction in scientific presentations of students from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Makassar. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, note-taking, and recording of students’ utterances during scientific presentation activities. Data analysis was conducted through transcription, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that students’ standard language skills in scientific presentations are generally at a fairly good level, although several inaccuracies are still found. In phoneme pronunciation, errors such as omission, addition, and substitution of phonemes occur due to regional dialect influence. In word usage, students still use foreign loanwords that are not in accordance with standard Indonesian equivalents. In sentence construction, incomplete sentences and inaccuracies in the use of subjects and predicates are identified. Therefore, consistent practice in using standard Indonesian in academic contexts is necessary.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a test instrument based on the Wordwall educational game in order to make the learning process more engaging. The research was conducted using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), which consists of the following stages: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The Wordwall-based educational game test instrument was validated by media and content experts, followed by a feasibility trial involving 37 eighth-grade students of MTs DDI Wanio. The findings indicate that the developed Wordwall-based test instrument is valid, effective, and practical. Validity was confirmed by media expert validation at 88.6% and material expert validation at 81%. Effectiveness was demonstrated by improved learning outcomes, with 81.5% of trial participants achieving the minimum mastery criteria (KKM). Teacher activity observations showed 93.75%, while student responses reached 93%. Practicality was supported by the implementation rate and user response at 86.62%.
