Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Ghadhdhul Bashar (lowering one's gaze) in the life of Generation Z in the digital era, focusing on the youth of Dusun IV Panton, Pangkalan Susu. The study addresses the phenomenon of increasing free association and access to digital content that contradicts Islamic principles, such as unsupervised interactions between opposite genders. The research aims to explore Generation Z's behavioral patterns toward digital media and social interactions, as well as to evaluate the application of Ghadhdhul Bashar values as an educational solution. The study employs a qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and literature reviews as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the implementation of Ghadhdhul Bashar is still minimal due to a lack of religious understanding, the influence of social media, and weak environmental control. This study recommends an educational approach based on Islamic values and increased collective awareness as a strategy to implement Islamic principles in the digital era.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations at the research location, the identification of the problems found was obtained, namely: The implementation of the flower sowing culture in the coastal areas of Langkat Regency is still carried out precisely as a cultural tradition. Communities who carry out the sea jamu ritual do not yet have a qualified understanding of religion. So that the implementation of the sea herbal ritual is considered a tradition in the Malay tribe which is still preserved without regard to the legal lines in Islamic religious teachings. The results of these observations are used by the authors as a basis for formulating the problem in this study, namely how is the compatibility between culture and Islamic law regarding the implementation of sowing flowers in the Langkat Regency area? The research method used is a qualitative research method, namely the author collects data through data collection techniques in a theoretical description and facts in the field based on observations, interviews and documentation so that the results of the implementation of this research are: Efforts to standardize the sea alms ceremony tradition from elements elements prohibited by Islam, one of which is the use of offerings in the form of various kinds of food and buffalo heads or goat heads, namely by providing enlightenment to the community little by little, slowly and gradually, as was done by the scholars and religious leaders in Sei Blade. It is different from the sea alms ceremony in Sei Bilah because the community has a strong belief in things like that. In the procession of the sea alms ceremony in Sei Bilah, the ritual of burning incense and believing in the myth of the existence of sea guardians.

Abstract

This paper discusses the challenges and ethical solutions in the practice of da'wah through digital media. In the rapidly developing digital era, platforms such as social media, blogs, and video sites provide unprecedented opportunities for Islamic da'wah to reach a global audience. However, the ease of dissemination of information also poses significant challenges, such as the spread of inaccurate information, negative or provocative content, and violations of regulations. This paper discusses these challenges and suggests solutions, including education and training for da'wah (preachers), the use of trusted platforms, collaboration with communication experts, and the development of digital da'wah ethics guidelines. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that aims to understand and describe the phenomenon of da'wah ethics in digital media in depth. Literature study is used as a data collection technique to explore the principles of da'wah ethics, the challenges faced by da'is in digital media, and the solutions proposed by communication and religious experts. This methodology allows researchers to gain a rich and holistic understanding of the challenges of digital da'wah ethics and their relevance in the context of modern communication. This study analyzes the impact of digital media on da'wah practices, with an emphasis on ethical considerations in content creation and interaction. It is concluded that da'wah in the digital era requires a careful and ethical approach to maintain the integrity and credibility of Islamic teachings while understanding the complexity of digital communication.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the skills of writing procedure text through the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Class XI TKJ 2 SMK Negeri 4 Gowa. The research method used was Classroom Action Research with two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 36 students of class XI TKJ 2 SMK Negeri 4 Gowa. Data were collected through written tests on writing procedure texts, observation, and reflection. The data were analysed by using quantitative analysis technique. The results showed that the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model could significantly improve the students' procedural text writing skills. In cycle I, the skill of writing procedure text was still in the sufficient category with the percentage of classical completeness of 67.56%. However, in cycle II, there was a significant improvement, with the percentage of classical completeness reaching 91.89%. In addition, observation of learners' participation also showed a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II. The results of this study show that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is effective in improving the skill of writing procedure text.

Abstract

Pandangan MUI Kota Binjai Terhadap Peraturan Walikota No 39 Tahun 2017. Sebagaimana peraturan ini sudah berjalan sejak awal tahun 2018 sampai sekarang di lingkungan pemerintah Kota Binjai, guna untuk menurunkan angka pemakai narkoba yang marak di Kota Binjai. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengatahui Sejauh mana pandangan MUI Kota Binjai terhadap peraturan walikota no 39 tahun 2017. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan pendekatan studi kasus (case study). Metode pengumpulan data diperoleh secara langsung dari observasi dan wawancara dari ketua lembaga MUI Kota Binjai, KUA Binjai Utara, praktisi, masyarakat dan BNN Kota Binjai. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa pandangan MUI Kota Binjai mengenai peraturan ini tidak melawan syariat Islam dan bertetangan dengan peraturan perkawinan di KUA. Sedangkan dampak positifnya adalah kesadaran masyarakat terhadap bahaya narkoba yang mengakibatkan sulitnya melangsungkan proses perkawinan dan dampak negatifnya adalah tidak adanya sangsi yang mengikat sehingga masyarakat tidak takut untuk melanggarnya. Ketiga, terbatasnya waktu dan tempat yang sering menjadi penghambat porses tes narkoba untuk calon penganti.

Abstract

This research examines collaboration between Islamic institutions and Muslim influencers which can also have its own challenges. This is because the two parties have different goals, approaches and values ​​which of course can result in conflict and disruption of preaching. Another cause of challenges in da'wah is a lack of understanding in determining digital communication strategies. Moreover, we must not be left behind with developments because this can be a benchmark for success in collaborative da'wah in the era of digitalization. Therefore, it is necessary to have an appropriate da'wah strategy in order to achieve the effectiveness of da'wah. In this scientific journal, the method used is literature study. The literature method, or library research, is used to search for research information by reading scientific journals, digital book references, and published materials on the Internet. The only key to the success of da'wah development in this era is building a modern da'wah management strategy. The use of digital technology in da'wah content not only increases accessibility and reach but also creates better interaction between preachers and audiences.

Abstract

The Haji Makassar Regional General Hospital (RSUD) still faces several obstacles such as unorganized recording, so that the information produced does not meet management needs, and there is still a lack of skills in managing data. Although it has developed a LAN-based SIMRS application in several units, this system often experiences problems and cannot function perfectly, so it often does not run well. This type of research is quantitative research, which uses a cross sectional approach. The results showed that out of 149 respondents, there were 123 (83.1) people who felt the benefits of using SIMRS, and 25 (16.9) people who felt that the use of SIMRS was less useful. Then a chi-square test was carried out which showed the relationship between human (p-value = 0.014), organization (p-value = 0.002), technology (p-value 0.001) with benefits to the operation of SIMRS. Training is required for SIMRS user staff before the system is implemented in hospitals, as well as whenever there is an update to the SIMRS application. And the management of Haji Makassar Hospital should provide support to SIMRS officers in the form of adequate infrastructure and provide motivation such as awards or recognition for contributions from their hard work.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penggunaan media pembelajaran terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik di UPTD SMPN 8 Parepare. Penelitian menggunakan model Quasi Experimental Design dengan bentuk Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design yaitu desain yang memberikan pretest sebelum dikenakan perlakuan, serta posttest sesudah dikenakan perlakuan pada masing-masing kelompok. Media pembelajaran augmented reality untuk meningkatkan pemahaman materi salat telah di uji melalui dua tahap yakni Pretest-Posttest berdasarkan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas VII UPTD SMPN 8 Parepare. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, (1) Penggunaan media pembelajaran augmented reality di UPTD SMPN 8 Parepare yang mengalami peningkatan, apalagi terkait proses pembelajaran pada materi salat. (2) Hasil belajar peserta didik UPTD SMP 8 Parepare sebelum perlakuan (Pretest) penggunaan media pembelajaran augmented reality pada materi salat pada kelas ekperimen diperoleh rata-rata (mean), sebesar 71.06. (3) Hasil belajar peserta didik yang mengalami peningkatan sesudah perlakuan (posttest) penggunaan media pembelajaran Augmented reality pada materi salat pada kelas eksperimen di UPTD SMPN 8 Parepare, diperoleh rata-rata (mean) sebesar 95.83. (4) Penggunaan media pembelajaran augmented reality pada materi salat dapat meningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik di UPTD SMPN 8 Parepare. Berdasarkan hasil t-test diketahui Thitung adalah 6.715 dengan nilai probabilitas 0,000. Oleh karena probilitas 0.000 < 0,05, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menunjukkan kelas eksperimen pada pretest dengan rata-rata mean 71.06, sedangkan posttest dengan rata-rata mean 95.83, artinya terjadi peningkatan sebesar 15.741. jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran augmented reality dapat meningkatkan pemahaman materi salat terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di UPTD SMPN 8 Parepare

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' reading interest, to explain students' ability to write expository texts, and to prove the correlation between reading interest and the ability to write expository texts of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Gowa. The population of this study was 432 students. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The sample in this research was class X.7 students, totaling 36 students. The data collection technique uses a reading interest questionnaire and an expository text writing ability test. The validity test uses the product formula, there are 36 or all statements are valid because the calculated r is greater than the r table, data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the research data description show that students' reading interest can be said to be in the high category with a percentage of 36% and students' ability to write expository texts is in the medium category with a percentage of 42%. From the results of descriptive statistical analysis using the product moment correlation formula, it can be seen that the level of relationship between interest in reading and the ability to write expository texts obtained a calculated r value of 0.782. Meanwhile, the r table with N=36 at the 5% significance level is 0.329. These results show that r count > r table, indicating that there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in reading and the ability to write expository texts in class X SMA Negeri 1 Gowa for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

Community service is the main principle upheld by higher education institutions in fighting for the empowerment and advancement of society. This paper aims to illustrate the important role of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at UIN Alauddin Makassar in implementing community service programs, with a case study at Pondok Pesantren al-Ikhlash Addary DDI Takkalasi, Barru Regency. Through a qualitative approach and direct observation, this article discusses the various service activities carried out by the department in improving the quality of life and empowering the local community. The results show that the role of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature is very significant in making a positive contribution to the pesantren and the surrounding community, especially in terms of scientific development and cultural maintenance.
