Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of SAVI learning model on mathematics learning outcomes. The research was done by the low learning result of the students' mathematics in the fourth grade of SDN 3 Metro Pusat. This research method is the non-equivalent control group design with the type of research that is experimental research. Technique of collecting data is done by test technique and student response questionnaire. Quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that there is a positive and significant influence on the SAVI learning model of mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 3 Metro Pusat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran SAVI terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Metro Pusat. Metode penelitian ini adalah the non equivalent control group design dengan jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan angket respon siswa. Teknik analisis data dengan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada model pembelajaran SAVI terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Metro Pusat.Kata kunci : hasil belajar, matematika, somatis auditori visual intelektual

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the positive and significant influence of active learning strategy of index card match type and image media to the students' mathematics learning outcomes. The type of this research is experiment with non equivalent control group design research design. The population of this study is the students of grade V of State Elementary School 6 North Metro, amounting to 53 students. Determination of sample research using saturated samples, where all members of the population serve as a sample. Technique of collecting data is done by technique of test and questionnaire. The results showed that there is a positive and significant effect of learning strategy of active learning strategy of index card match type and media of image to the result of learning of mathematics of Grade V students of SD Negeri 6 North Metro. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui pengaruh positif dan signifikan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe index card match dan media gambar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 6 Metro Utara yang berjumlah 53 siswa. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan sampel jenuh, dimana semua anggota populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan strategi pembelajaran strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe index card match dan media gambar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri 6 Metro Utara. Kata kunci: index card match, matematika, media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and investigate a positive and significant relationship between the scaffolding method and the independence of ABK in public elementary schools providing inclusive education throughout Metro City. This type of research is ex-postfacto correlation. The population is 50 GPK. The sample in this study is a saturated sample in which the entire population is taken, so that the researcher tests the instrument outside the population. Data collection tools are observation, questionnaire / questionnaire and documentation study. Data analysis used is product moment correlation. Based on the research data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the scaffolding method and the independence of ABK in public elementary schools providing inclusive education throughout Metro City with the correlation coefficient of 0.263 shown at a low level.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara metode scaffolding dengan kemandirian ABK di SD Negeri penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif se-Kota Metro. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu ex-postfacto korelasi. Populasi berjumlah 50 GPK. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel jenuh, dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel, sehingga peneliti melakukan uji instrumen di luar populasi  Alat pengumpul data yaitu observasi, kuesioner/angket dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan analisis data penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara metode scaffolding dengan kemandirian ABK di SD Negeri penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif se-Kota Metro dengan ditunjukkan  koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,263 berada pada taraf rendah.  Kata kunci: metode scaffolding, kemandirian ABK, pendidikan inklusif

Abstract

The goal of this research is to improve the activity and competency to write nonfiction prose by students personal experience in grade 5th at Elementary School 4 Adipuro Trimurjo. The method which used is classroom action research (CAR) by the cycles and each cycles through 4th steps activity, that is: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data sampling technique used observation sheet and data analysis in this research used qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the result of the research it is known that the income of students activity score in following the learning, it has a raising. The average score of student activity in cycles I until cycles III has improvement in every cycles. So that it can gain the score category “excellent”. For the students learning result that improve in every cycles, where is the average class can get KKM score and get the success more than 75%.Berdasarkan penelitian tindakan kelas pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 8 Metro Selatan melalui penerapan model  quantum teaching dan SEQIP dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan rata-rata aktivitas siswa serta peningkatan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa. Pada siklus I keterampilan proses IPA termasuk pada kategori sedang kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi kategori tinggi. Pada siklus I persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 43,75% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan 40,63% sehingga menjadi 84,38%. Lebih lanjut diharapkan kepada siswa agar selalu aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran serta harus lebih menguasai berbagai teori dan percobaan IPA sehingga dapat menerapkan berbagai keterampilan tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Diharapkan guru dapat mengajarkan dan memotivasi siswa untuk dapat menguasai materi-materi pembelajaran. Selain itu diharapkan guru dapat lebih kreatif dalam menginovasi pembelajaran. Diharapkan agar sekolah dapat mengembangkan model quantum teaching dan juga memaksimalkan media SEQIP sebagai inovasi dalam pembelajaran sehingga dapat diterapkan oleh guru-guru pada dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, menulis, prosa nonfiksi.

Abstract

The research was based by the low of student ability on communicating material that be learned for friend fellow and study result of students still low. The aims of research were to improve communicative ability and study result by implementation of example non-example technique. The method of research was classroom action research that consist of planning, acting, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection used observation guiding sheet and test. The data was analyzed used qualitative and quantitative analyze. The results of research showed that implementation of example non-example technique for thematics learning can improving communicative ability and study result of student. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan siswa mengkomunikasikan materi yang dipelajarinya kepada sesama teman dan hasil belajar siswa masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi dan hasil belajar dengan menerapkan teknik Example Non-Example. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklusnya, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan lembar panduan observasi dan soal tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik Example Non-Example dalam pembelajaran tematik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: example non-example, hasil belajar, kemampuan berkomunikasi.

Abstract

This research aim to improve the student activity and learning outcomes by applying the contextual approach. The method used was classroom action research which conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consist of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The collection of data obtained through the tests and non-test techniques by using a test to find out the student learning outcomes as well as the observation sheet to know the performance of teachers and students' activities. Data analysis technique used was qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results showed that the application of the contextual approach can improve the student activity and learning outcomess. It can be seen from the percentage of student activity on the cycle I was at quite category, increased to good category in cycle II. Completeness  percentage of student learning on a cycle I was 68,97% increased 20,69% to 89,66% at the end of the cycle II.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui teknik tes dan non tes dengan menggunakan soal tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa serta lembar observasi untuk mengetahui kinerja guru dan aktivitas siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dapat meningkat kan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase aktivitas siswa pada siklus I berada pada kategori cukup, meningkat menjadi kategori baik pada siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai 68,97% meningkat 20,69% menjadi 89,66% pada akhir siklus II.Kata kunci:  aktivitas, hasil belajar siswa, pendekatan kontekstual.

Abstract

This review aimed to determine the implementation of inclusive education in regular schools. The implementation of education in regular schools has many obstacles, including teachers’ lack of the ability to manage inclusive schools. Teachers in this case are an important part of schools to run programs smoothly because teachers communicate directly with students in need. Students, knowledge, skills and experience of teachers determine how well inclusive programs are run in schools, especially in the classroom. To achieve that, teachers need to have several trainings to help them prepare and carry out their plans properly. An e-literature search was conducted to identify articles published from 2015 to 2021 on the steps needed to optimize teacher skills to achieve a good inclusive environment. The electronic database used is Google Scholar. This study used review. Based on the articles reviewed, it was found that the implementation of inclusive education in regular schools was done by improving the skills of teachers through co-teaching training. Apart from teachers, schools and parents were provided with sufficient information about inclusive programs and how to do them. The seven articles' findings were reviewed by the researchers, and indicate that several things must be done in the implementation of inclusive education in public schools. The teacher is the main concern in inclusive learning because the teacher is a school device that interacts directly with students and at the same time provides teaching to students in the classroom.

Abstract

Purpose: The principal's job is very essential and governs the equal of student learning consequences. Principal performances are also in line with teachers' output and self-esteem. In this case, it can be said that the principal's working area creates a feeling of comfort for teachers. The principal performances create the feeling at home in encouraging teachers and employees to work in harmony with the rules and programs that have been delineated so that work output becomes great and pupil learning outcomes also upsurge. One of the teachers’ productivity can be seen from the teachers’ pedagogical proficiency. Pedagogical proficiency is a talent for understanding students and management of educational and dialogical learning. This study targets to determine in what way the impact of the principal’s performance on teachers’ pedagogical competence. Research Methodology: The method used is the method of search and review. The review process starts with the search engine, Google scholar and reviewing related articles about principal performance and teachers’ pedagogical competence. Results: The results from 22 reviewed articles are that the role of the principal’s performance is very influential in affecting the teacher's pedagogical competence. Limitations: Since this study includes many cases, further research could include performing to analyze how principal performance could affect teacher pedagogical competence. Abstract

This study aimed to reveal and explain the implementation of school-based management (SBM) in realizing principles of child-friendly schools (CFSs) in the era of the Covid-19 Pandemic in Public Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Bandar Lampung, Lampung Province. This research used qualitative approach with a case study method. In collecting data, the researchers used the triangulation method (indepth interviews, observation, and documentstudy). This study found that implementing SBM in realizing CFS in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era was carried out by 1) school management for the purpose of contributing to achieving transparent and efficient school management and not to discouraging children’s participation in decision making, 2) active, creative, effective and fun learning, namely teaching and learning activities and positive interactions between teachers and students in schools and 3) community participation, namely direct involvement of parents and the community in improving the quality of education and increasing understanding and commitment to children’s rights.

Abstract

The Important of the principal's leadership in implementing a character education program attracts the author to conduct research and this article discusses the results of a literature review conducted by the author. There are a number of articles on the review of principals' leadership and character education especially in the world context that can be found. The purpose of this review is to find out the principal's leadership in realizing character education in a world context. Based on the results of the literature reviews from various countries in the world, the authors find the scope of the article being reviewed is still very limited and it is very difficult to get literature that combines the two variables. The results of the literature review about the principal's leadership show that the principal's leadership in carrying out his role as a leader has an impact on teacher performance and student personality. Literature review of character education shows that the principal has a big role in realizing students' personalities. Thus, the authors are interested in following up related to the principal's leadership in realizing character education.
