Abstract

Perkembangan informasi teknologi telah mengubah perpustakaan sekolah dari konvensional ke digital, memudahkan akses sumber belajar. Perpustakaan digital meningkatkan minat baca siswa dengan konten variatif seperti e-book dan video pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan peran perpustakaan digital dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa Gen Z, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pemanfaatannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dan pendekatan studi kepustakaan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan digital berperan penting dalam meningkatkan akses informasi dan motivasi membaca siswa, terutama melalui penyajian konten yang menarik dan mudah dijangkau. Namun, implementasinya masih menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, literasi digital yang rendah, serta minimnya integrasi perpustakaan digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa optimalisasi perpustakaan digital membutuhkan strategi holistik yang mencakup pengembangan koleksi, pelatihan literasi digital, integrasi pedagogis, serta perluasan akses teknologi. Dengan strategi pemilihan konten yang menarik, penambahan koleksi, integrasi dengan pembelajaran, peningkatan kompetensi literasi digital warga sekolah, dan penyediaan akses inklusif, perpustakaan digital dapat menjadi instrumen efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi siswa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The Pancasila and Rahmatan Lil Alamin (P5PPRA) student profile strengthening program with the theme "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" is designed to integrate Pancasila values and the principle of diversity in learning activities that are relevant to students' daily lives. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, then observation, interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of the study show that the implementation of P5PPRA in MIN 2 Palembang City has been carried out through systematic planning, which includes the preparation of a thematic curriculum, teacher training, and continuous evaluation. The theme "Bhineka Tunggal Ika" is implemented through project-based learning, group discussions and collaborative activities to encourage students to understand the importance of diversity and unity.

Abstract

This study examines the role of religiosity in student character formation within vocational education by analyzing the mediating effects of learning motivation and literacy. Employing a quantitative correlational design with an ex post facto approach, the study analyzes survey data collected from 381 students enrolled in public vocational secondary schools in Indonesia (N = 381). Religiosity is conceptualized as a multidimensional construct encompassing belief, practice, experience, and social consequences, while student character is defined as an integrated set of cognitive, moral, and socio-emotional dispositions. Data were analyzed using regression-based mediation analysis within a structural equation modeling framework, indicating that religiosity has a positive and statistically significant direct effect on student character. In addition, learning motivation and literacy function as significant mediating variables, demonstrating partial mediation in the relationship between religiosity and character formation. These findings suggest that religious values influence character development not only through direct moral orientation, but also indirectly by strengthening students’ motivational engagement and interpretive capacities. By empirically testing a mediated model of character formation, this study advances a mechanism-oriented understanding of how values, motivation, and literacy interact in vocational education. The findings contribute theoretically to research on character education and religious education, while practically underscoring the importance of integrating ethical values, motivational support, and literacy development in holistic vocational education models.

Abstract

This study examines the relationships among Quran memorization activity, emotional intelligence, prophetic character, and student discipline in pesantren, with prophetic character operationalised through the FAST framework as a mediating mechanism. Employing a quantitative causal explanatory design, data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered to 95 students at Pondok Pesantren Jamiatul Qurro Palembang. Structural Equation Modelling with a partial least squares approach was used to analyse direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The findings indicate that Quran memorization activity and emotional intelligence both have significant positive effects on prophetic character and student discipline. Prophetic character emerged as the strongest predictor of discipline β = 0.412, p < .001 and significantly mediated the effects of Quran memorization β = 0.157, p = .002 and emotional intelligence β = 0.186, p < .001 on disciplined behaviour. These results suggest that discipline in religious educational settings is best understood as an internally regulated outcome shaped by moral internalisation and emotional self-regulation. The study contributes to character education literature by empirically validating prophetic character as a central mechanism linking religious practice and psychological capacity to behavioural outcomes in pesantren education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the innovation strategies of private Madrasah Aliyah principals in realizing sustainable education. The study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method to understand the experiences and leadership practices of madrasah principals in designing and implementing educational innovations. The research was conducted at three private Islamic high schools, namely MAS Nurul Huda Sukaraja, MAS Al-Ikhlas Pametung Basuki, and MAS YPI Sumberharjo in Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency, South Sumatra Province, which were selected purposively based on the sustainability of innovation programs and the active involvement of madrasah principals in policy-making. The research data consisted of the innovation strategies of private Madrasah Aliyah principals in realizing sustainable education, which included academic innovation, religious innovation, and vocational innovation, as well as the leadership experiences of madrasah principals in designing and implementing these strategies. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, and then analyzed thematically through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the madrasah principals' innovation strategies were developed through three main orientations, namely academic innovation, religious innovation, and vocational innovation. Academic innovation focuses on improving the quality of learning and the continuity of graduates' studies to higher education, religious innovation is directed at strengthening Islamic values and the social role of alumni, while vocational innovation emphasizes the development of life skills to increase the independence and competitiveness of graduates in the world of work. These three strategies are implemented contextually in accordance with the characteristics of the madrasah and the needs of the environment. This study concludes that the innovation strategies of private Madrasah Aliyah principals contribute significantly to the realization of sustainable education, thus emphasizing the importance of innovative leadership in the development of Islamic education that is adaptive and relevant to the demands of the times.

Abstract

Pernikahan merupakan institusi yang memiliki dimensi sosial, budaya, dan kesehatan yang kompleks. Dalam menghadapi tantangan pernikahan di era modern, bimbingan pra-nikah menjadi instrumen penting dalam mempersiapkan calon pengantin agar memiliki pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai hak dan kewajiban dalam rumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi program integrasi bimbingan pra-nikah di KUA Talang Ubi Kabupaten Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir, khususnya dalam penyampaian materi pendidikan pra-nikah, pendidikan multikultural, dan pendidikan kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan penghulu, penyuluh agama, serta calon pengantin, observasi langsung dalam sesi bimbingan, dan analisis dokumen yang relevan. Analisis dilakukan melalui teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan menggunakan pendekatan triangulasi untuk memastikan validitas hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyampaian materi pendidikan pra-nikah masih didominasi oleh metode ceramah satu arah, yang menyebabkan rendahnya partisipasi aktif peserta. Keterbatasan durasi bimbingan juga menjadi kendala utama, sehingga materi yang disampaikan tidak dapat dieksplorasi secara mendalam. Sementara itu, pendidikan multikultural belum mendapatkan porsi yang cukup dalam bimbingan pra-nikah, meskipun perbedaan budaya menjadi salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap keharmonisan rumah tangga. Penyampaian materi kesehatan juga masih terbatas, terutama karena kurangnya keterlibatan tenaga medis dalam memberikan edukasi mengenai kesehatan reproduksi dan perencanaan keluarga. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perpanjangan durasi bimbingan, penerapan metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, serta peningkatan kerja sama dengan tenaga ahli di bidang kesehatan dan multikulturalisme. Selain itu, program bimbingan pasca-nikah juga disarankan sebagai langkah lanjutan untuk mendukung keberlangsungan rumah tangga yang harmonis. Dengan perbaikan dalam penyampaian materi dan pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif, program bimbingan pra-nikah di KUA Talang Ubi diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi peningkatan kualitas bimbingan perkawinan di Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of the current research is to examine the extent to which social media and online games support Piaget’s notion of adolescents’ ability to think abstractly, reason in a structured way, and develop metacognition. The study relies on a qualitative descriptive method based on the most recent literature from the last five years. The study concluded that social interaction in virtual environments is a space where higher-order thinking, self-reflective thinking, and the ability to think hypothetically and deductively are developed. The ability to think formally and to reason is enhanced through social media and online games, where players must collaborate and engage in discussions. Consequently, what Piaget viewed as the symbiotic relationships between social interaction and knowledge construction should now include the emergence of new digital socialization technologies. Educational practitioners and parents are encouraged to guide the purposeful use of virtual socializations to foster adolescents’ cognitive development.
