Abstract

   Corn represents one of the agricultural comodities in Grobogan regency. However, the average corn production in Grobogan is only 4,92 ton/Ha. It is below the standard production determined by the government which ranges from 5,5 to 6 ton/ Ha. The aim of this study is to know the efficiency of production factors in farm bussiness, especially corn farm in Grobogan regency. The samples are 90 divisible respondents in Purwodadi, Torohand Kradenan. Then, the purposive cluster of area random sampling was applied for having the samples and quantitative descriptive approach was used for having the findings. After analyzing the data, it is shown that the variables influence the efficiency of production factors in farm bussiness are land area, seed production, and fertilizer production. Furthermore, those variables are inefficient in the busssiness farm. It is based on the calculation that shows the following findings: technical efficiency is 0,9996633, the price efficiency is1,53563, and the economic efficiency is 1,5346. Knowing that the variables involve in the farm bussiness, especially corn have not been efficient yet, the government roles are needed, and agriculture policy should be issued for protecting the peasants.

Abstract

This research aims at analyzing the influence of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operating Expenses of Operating Income (BOPO), inflation, exchange rate, and the amount of money supply (M1) to the interest rate of three month deposits of the State-Owned Bank in Indonesia in 2007-2015. This research uses the error correction model analysis. The result obtained is the CAR that has a significant effect on the long term and has no effect on the short term, BOPO has a significant influence on the long term and short term, inflation has the significant effect on the long term and has no effect on the short term, the exchange rate has an influence on the short and long term, the money supply has no effects on the short and long-term on the interest rate on three month deposits of the State-Owned Bank.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Biaya Operasional Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Inflasi, Nilai tukar dan Jumlah Uang beredar (M1) terhadap suku bunga deposito berjangka tiga bulan Bank Persero di Indonesia 2007-2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis model koreksi kesalahan. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu CAR memiliki pengaruh signifikan pada jangka panjang dan tidak mempunyai pengaruh pada jangka pendek, BOPO memiliki pengaruh signifikan pada jangka panjang dan jangka pendek, Inflasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan pada jangka panjang dan tidak memiliki pengaruh pada jangka pendek, nilai tukar memiliki pengaruh pada jangka pendek dan jangka panjang, jumlah uang beredar tidak memiliki pengaruh pada jangka pendek dan jangka panjang terhadap suku bunga deposito berjangka 3 bulan bank persero.

Abstract

In the long term, batik SMEs to compete in the local and global markets can not only rely on production capabilities rooted in local sources of uniqueness, but must have efficiency of economies scale for resource access and innovation. In a competitive environment, entrepreneurs in the batik industry have an important role to improve the efficiency. This study analyzed the role of entrepreneurs in the economic efficiency. This study applies production model to describe the entrepreneurs role on economic efficiency. The study was conducted by interviews to 100 Batik SMEs managers-owners in the Batik Centre in Solo, Pekalongan and Rembang. The entrepreneurs role in innovation in term of product innovation, marketing innovation, and business alliances (cooperatives). Data analysis was performed using Stochastic Frontier and Deterministic Regression Analysis. The empirical results of the technical inefficiency effects model suggest that the entrepreneurs role in product innovation, marketing innovation and business alliances are important factors affecting economic efficiency of batik SMEs. The role of entrepreneurship in marketing innovation has the highest elasticity of the production and sales of batik, and then followed by the role of entrepreneurs in new product innovation and business alliances.

Abstract

Abstract

Agriculture takes an important role for economy by more than 14% of economic contribution. Nevertheless, it has indirective effects, where it has commonly a negative impact, but somehow in the long term, offers a better environmental service. This study, therefore, aimed to evaluate both impact by estimating the Indonesia food barn to estimate how far the impact to environment through the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC). In order to improve the environmental quality in the long term, the sustainable practices through ecolabelling product have to be conducted. Thus, the evaluation of consumers’ WTP for ecolabelling product has been observed through 300 respondents depicting their preferences. Following by AHP analysis to construct the priority of strategies to develop the sustainable agriculture. Based on the results, EKC model showed it initially leads to environmental damage, but at a certain level, people begin to increase environmental awareness by a decrease of methane (CH4) about 0.12%. It is proved by their WTP where 82.6% respondents were willing to pay for ecolabelling product. Finally, to support sustainable agriculture, reforming the market access is a top priority (0.312 points) which aimed to progressively encourage the farmers’ supply. Otherwise, the pricing strategy becomes the consumers’ main perspective to buy (0.264 points).
