Abstract

Abstrak. When many industries are stagnant, many people are laid off, and graduate students are unable to find employment, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are items that need to be taken into consideration. They are seen as economic saviors. The study examines social capital and how it affects Semarang college students' MSMEs sustainability. With a case study methodology, this research is qualitative. Qualitative information was gathered for the study through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Purposive sampling was used to select informants. Eight college students with MSMEs from Semarang's four largest universities UNISSULA, UNNES, UNDIP, and UPGRIS serve as the data's primary sources. Information has been from college students managing MSMEs for at least two years. Through the steps of data reduction, data display, and conclusion and verification, data analysis included interactive analytical methodologies. The findings of this study suggest that MSMEs college students acquire capital through their social connections with other businesspeople, vendors, clients, families, parking attendants, locals, and other students. The approach for maintaining student MSMEs involves managing time between classes and MSMEs, capital, manufacturing, and marketing. The technique used by college students’ MSMEs is to improve and grow their offline and online customer networks, collaborate with other traders in marketing activities, offer enticing bonuses to clients, and utilize school resources to help with financing issues.

Abstract

The role of technology in the learning process in the current era is crucial to be used in enrichment and student learning experiences. Students use the learning process through the use of technology to obtain the expected competencies. Teachers as facilitators use CBT as a tool in facilitating the learning process. In the process, the problem that arises is the acceptance of students' perceptions or CBT technology. This study aims to examine the effect of the technology acceptance model (TAM) model on the learning performance of maritime vocational high school students. The study used a quantitative approach by using SEM-PLS in testing the data that had been obtained. This study involved 79 maritime vocational high school students from Central Java province. The results showed that there was an effect of perceived usefulness on behavioral intention and direct learning performance. In addition, perceived usefulness affects learning performance through behavioral intention, meaning that behavioral intention partially mediates perceived usefulness on learning performance. This study examines perceived ease of use on behavioral intention and learning performance. The results showed that it had a direct effect on behavioral intention but did not have a direct effect on learning performance. The study results indicate a role for the behavioral intention in mediating the total effect on learning performance.

Abstract

The increase in global temperature and climate change that has occurred over the past decade is the result of increased CO2 emissions. Several factors such as gross domestic product, population, deforestation, and energy consumption are considered to be the most influential in increasing CO2 emissions. This paper uses panel data analysis to analyze the relationship between economic growth (GDP), population, deforestation, and energy consumption on increasing CO2 emissions in four ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam) for the period 2001-2021. The research method used is panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Using FEM, the results show that partially economic growth (GDP) and energy consumption have a positive effect on CO2 emissions. Meanwhile, population and deforestation have no influence on CO2 emissions. But simultaneously has a confidence level of 98.84% where the variation in the percentage change in CO2 emissions in the four countries in ASEAN is explained by the variables of economic growth (GDP), population, deforestation, and energy consumption by 98.84% and the remaining 1.16% is influenced by other variables outside these variables. Finally, the panel data results show that there is a significance of energy consumption and economic growth in the four ASEAN countries that have implications for CO2 emissions.

Abstract

The limited product diversification of the Indonesian coal mining industry underscores the imperative for the formulation of strategic business plans to navigate the intensifying market competition. This study aims to examine the market structure, the factors influencing sales, and the impact of market structure on the sales performance of coal mining companies in Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative method and utilizes a range of analytical techniques, including CR4, HHI, MES, CLR, PCM, and multiple linear regression. The CR4 and HHI analysis revealed that the market structure of coal mining companies in Indonesia is classified as a highly concentrated tight oligopoly. The MES analysis yielded the conclusion that new companies in the sector face significant barriers to market entry. The findings of the CLR analysis, which indicates that the coal mining sector is a capital-intensive industry, suggest that equity and capital factors are the primary contributors to the challenges faced by new companies attempting to enter the market. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis indicate that equity factors and production volume have a positive and significant effect on company sales. This finding is corroborated by the PCM analysis, which suggests that companies with low market share tend to set higher margins to obtain greater profits. Increasing investment levels may serve as a viable business strategy, particularly when supported by government policies aimed at fostering a secure and stable investment environment to enhance company equity and capital.
