Abstract

This correlation study aims to determine: (1) description of learning achievement in the subject of Motor (Engine), Automotive Electrical and Power Train Systems as well as description of the ability to diagnose damage to motorcycles of students of the Automotive Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University; (2) the relationship between learning achievement in the Motor (Engine) course and the ability to diagnose damage to motorbikes of PTO FT UNM students, (3) the relationship between learning achievement in the Automotive Electrical subject and the ability to diagnose damage to motorbikes of PTO FT UNM students, (4) the relationship between learning achievement in the Power Train Systems course and the ability to diagnose damage to motorbikes of PTO FT UNM students, (5) the joint relationship between the Motor (Engine) courses, Automotive Electrical and Power Train Systems with the ability to diagnose damage to motorcycle PTO FT UNM students. A sample of 110 people was drawn by proportional random sampling from a population of 152 people. The results showed (1) the learning achievement of students majoring in PTO FT UNM in the subject of Motor, Automotive Electrical and Power Train Systems was classified as "high" while the ability to diagnose damage to motorcycles was "quite high" (2) there was a positive and very strong relationship between learning achievement in the Motor (Engine) course and the ability to diagnose damage to motorcycles for students of the PTO FT UNM Study Program, (3) there is a positive and "quite strong" relationship between learning achievement in the Electrical subject Automotive with the ability to diagnose damage to motorcycles of students of the PTO FT UNM Study Program, (4) there is a positive but relatively “low” relationship between learning achievement in the Power Train Systems course and the ability to diagnose damage to motorcycles of Study Program students PTO FT UNM, (5) there is a jointly positive and "very strong" relationship between learning achievement in the subjects Motor (Engine), Automotive Electrical and Power Train Systems with the ability to diagnose damage to motorcycles for students of the PTO FT UNM Study Program

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental research (as if experimental) by design Control Group Design Pre Test & Post Test which aims to determine the effect of learning video-based audio-visual media on improving student learning outcomes. The population in the research class XI TKR with a total of 56 students consisting of 28 experimental class students and 28 control class. The sample in the study was carried out using the technique (Simple Random Sampling) because the taking of sample members from the population is done randomly. Each student will randomly choose a roll of paper that says the experimental class and the control class. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis research to obtain an overview of the increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class obtained an average value pre test 46.25 and post test 85.36 while the control group obtained an average value pre test 49.64 and post test 67.50 after being given the highest value treatment results post test the experimental class is higher than the control class. The results of the hypothesis test to obtain the effect of audio-visual media based on video learning based on the calculation of the hypothesis test (independent sample t test) shows a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05 H0 rejected and Ha accepted. The value of t is also obtained tcount of 6,578 and ttable of 2,048. because tcount = 6.578 > ttable= 2.048 points H0 rejected and Ha accepted, which means there is an influence on the use of learning video-based audio-visual media. Index calculation resultsgain to obtain the effectiveness of the use of audio-visual media based on video learning experimental class obtained valuegain of 0.728 in the high category while the control class obtained a valuegain of 0.355 medium category. This shows the effectiveness of using audio-visual media based on video learning to improve student learning outcomes compared to conventional methods.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of student learning outcomes in Mathematics, Physics and Basic Programming subjects at SMK Negeri 7 Takalar and to determine the relationship between student learning outcomes in Mathematics and Physics subjects with Student Knowledge in Basic Programming subjects. Ex-post facto research method. The total population is 210 people and the sample is 63 people taken at random proportionally. Data collection using documentation and tests. Hypothesis testing is carried out after conducting the analysis prerequisite test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) student learning outcomes in Mathematics are in the "good" criteria. (2) student learning outcomes in Physics subjects are in the "good" criteria. (3) student learning outcomes in Basic Programming subjects are in the "good" criteria. (4) there is a relationship between learning outcomes in Mathematics with students' knowledge of Basic Programming subjects of R=0.418 and the value of Sig. of 0.000 < 0.05 with a contribution of 17.5%, (5) there is a relationship between learning outcomes in Physics subjects with student knowledge in Basic Programming subjects of R = 0.468 and the value of Sig. of 0.000 < 0.05 with a contribution of 21.9%, (6) there is a joint relationship with students' knowledge of Basic Programming subjects of R = 0.538 and the value of Sig. of 0.000 < 0.05 with a contribution of 28.9%. So the research hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) knowing the blended problem based learning model based on Moodle LMS which is effective in increasing student motivation, and (2) knowing the differences in learning motivation who take part in the study blended problem based learning model based on Moodle LMS with students following the blended learning model. The research design used is quasi-experimental. The population in this study was the second semester students of the class of 2021 who studied introductory accounting courses in the accounting department with a total of 140 people. The sample of this research is class A as many as 34 people as the experimental class and class D as many as 33 people as the control class. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The results showed that: (1) The implementation of the blended problem based learning model based on the Moodle LMS was effective on the learning motivation of the students of the Accounting Department, the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, Alauddin Islamic State University (2) The results of the inferential analysis using the paired simple t test show that the t-count value is greater than the t table with a sig value less than 0.05, which means that the implementation of the blended problem-based model Moodle-based LMS learning effectively increases student motivation and (3) The results of the inferential analysis with the independent simple t test show that the t-count value is greater than the t-table with a sig value less than 0.05 which means that learning motivation of experimental class students has a significant difference with learning motivation of control class students.

Abstract

This study aims to discover (1) the implementation of teaching factory at SMK in Makassar city based on the context, input, and process components and (2) the implementation of teaching factory at SMK in Makassar city in terms of product components based on the students' entrepreneurial skills and motivation. The study was conducted with an evaluation approach with a context, input, process, product model. The respondents of the study were educators and students at SMK with the total of 42people. Data collection techniques employed document studies, observations, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively by percentage. The results of the study reveal that the overall teachingfactory implementation of CIPP components is in very good category, which includes: the context component is in "very good" category, the input component is in "very good" category, the process component is in "very good" category, and the product component is in "very good" category. Furthermore, the implementation of the teaching factory is effectively used to improve the entrepreneurial skills and motivation of SMK students in Makassar city.

Abstract

The purpose of thisstudy isto collect, process, and describe data regarding (1) The level of effectiveness of synchronous and asynchronous learning on postgraduate students during the digital learning era (2) The level of satisfaction of postgraduate students with synchronous and asynchronous learning during the digital learning era (3) Combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning in one course according to postgraduate students. The type of research conducted is descriptive qualitative research. The population of this study were postgraduate students from Makassar State University and the University of Indonesia with probability sampling technique using simple random sampling method. The results of this study indicate that the average value of the effectiveness of synchronous learning forpostgraduate students is 4 out of 5 and asynchronous learning is 3.70 out of 5 while the average value of postgraduate student satisfaction for synchronous learning is 3.94 out of 5 and for asynchronous learning is 3.76 out of 5, and all interview respondents agreed that synchronous and asynchronous learning can be combined in one course.

Abstract

This study is a quantitative research with ex-post facto research method. The study aims to examine the influence of the implementation of online learning, learning motivation, and creativity on the learning outcomes. The total population was 58 people and the samples obtained were 58 people taken by using non-probability sampling or saturated sampling technique. Data collection employed documentation and questionnaire. The prerequisite test employed the normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. The hypothesis testing employed simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that (1) the online learning is in high category, (2) the students' learning motivation is in moderate category, (3) the creativity is in moderate category, (4) the learning outcomes in Network System Administration subject are in good criteria, (5) there is an influence of online learning on learning outcomes in Network System Administration subject of TKJ at SMKN 8 Jeneponto. The test result shows that the value of sig. of 0.020 < 0.05 with a contribution of 9.3%, (6) there is an influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes in Network System Administration subject of TKJ at SMKN 8 Jeneponto. The test result shows that the value of sig. of 0.049 < 0.05 with a contribution of 6.8%, (7) there is an influence of creativity on learning outcomes in Network System Administration subject of TKJ at SMKN 8 Jeneponto. The test result shows that the value of sig. of 0.032 < 0.05 with a contribution of 8.0%, and (8) there is an influence between online learning, learning motivation, and creativity on learning outcomes in Network System Administration subject of TKJ at SMKN 8 Jeneponto. The test result shows the value of sig. of 0.019 < 0.05 with a contribution of 16.6%. Therefore, the research hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to describe the teachers’ performance in conducting learning at SMKN (public vocational schools) in Makassar city, (2) to identify work commitment, work attitude, work motivation, and principals’ leadership at several SMKN in Makassar city, (3) to analyze the influence of work commitment on the performance of productive teachers at SMKN in Makassar city, (4) to analyze the influence of work attitude on the performance of productive teachers at SMKN in Makassar city, (5) to analyze the influence of work motivation on the performance of productive teachers at SMKN in Makassar City, (6) to analyze the influence of the principals’ leadership on the performance of productive teachers at SMKN in Makassar city, and (7) to analyze the influence of work commitment, work attitude, work motivation, and the principals’ leadership collectively on the performance of teachers at SMKN in Makassar city. This type of research is quantitative research with a correlational approach. The research sample were 116 productive teachers at SMKN in Makassar city. The sampling technique employed a cluster random sampling technique. The analysisused were descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis of simple and multiple regression inferential models. The results of the study reveal that (1) the teachers’ performance are in high category; (2) there is a positive and significant influence of work commitment on teachers’ performance; (3) there is a positive and significant influence of work attitude on teachers’ performance; (4) there is a positive and significant influence of work motivation on teachers’ performance, (5) there is a positive and significant influence of the principals’ leadership on teachers’ performance; (6) there is a positive and significant influence of work commitment, work attitude, work motivation, and principals’ leadership collectively on teachers’ performance; and (7) there is a positive and significant influence of work commitment, work attitude, work motivation, and principals’ leadership collectively on teachers’ performance

Abstract

Competence at Somba Opu Vocational School, Gowa Regency. (guided by: Muhammad Yahya and Muh Yusuf Mappeasse). This study aims to determine: (1) The effect of the level of adequacy of practice facilities and infrastructure in the TKJ Laboratory on student competence at SMK Somba Opu Technology, Gowa Regency; (2) The effect of the level of up-to-date practice facilities and infrastructure in the TKJ Laboratory on student competence at Somba Opu Technology Vocational School, Gowa Regency; (3) The effect of learning motivation on student competency at the Somba Opu Vocational School of Technology, Gowa Regency; (4) The simultaneous influence of the adequacy of facilities and infrastructure, the up-to-date facilities and infrastructure and learning motivation on student competence at SMK Somba Opu Technology, Gowa Regency. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with an ex-post facto approach. The sample in this study was 90 students. Research data obtained by questionnaire and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis. The research results show that; (1) there is a significant effect of the level of adequacy of practice facilities and infrastructure in the TKJ Laboratory on student competence of 7.9%, (2) there is a significant effect of the level of up-to-date practice facilities and infrastructure in the TKJ Laboratory on studentcompetency of 4.7%, (3) there is a significant effect of learning motivation on student competence of6.7%, there is a joint effect of adequacy of facilities and infrastructure, up-to-date facilities andinfrastructure and learning motivation on student competence in Somba Opu Technology VocationalSchool, Gowa Regency of 16.2 %

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to discover (1) the results of developing the location based service application on the Android platform that can be used to find ta'lim information during the Covid-19 pandemic, (2) the effectiveness of ta'lim information application using location based service on the Android platform during the Covid-19 pandemic, and (3) the practicality of ta'lim informationapplications using location based service during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of study is Research and Development (R&D) using a prototype model. Data collection techniques used were literature studies, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was qualitative. The results of the study are: (1) the development of ta’lim location information application usinglocation based service on android platform during the Covid-19 pandemic is declared as valid andfeasible to be used measured by the media and content experts’ validation, then tested on functionality and maintainability aspects, (2) the test results of ta'lim information application using location basedservice on the android platform during the Covid-19 pandemic confirm that the application is effective to be used from the aspects of functionality, portability, reliability, and usability, as well as validation from the content expert, and (3) the test results of ta’lim information application using location based service on android platform during the Covid-19 is declared as practical to be used measured from the aspects of portability, security, and usability, as well as validation by the media expert.
