Abstract

This study is a pseudo-experimental research that aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on self-efficacy, learning motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students. The population of this study is all students of class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 11 Enrekang. The sampling technique uses a random sampling technique to select two equivalent study groups out of four study groups. The research sample used was class XI BIO 2 as an experimental class with a PBL learning model with a total of 25 students, and class XI BIO 3 as a control class with a conventional learning model with a total of 25 students. The research data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with covariance analysis (ANACOVA) using SPSS with a significant level of 0.05. Based on the results of the Anacova test, the P-value of students' self-efficacy perception was 0.000<0.05, the P-value of learning motivation perception was 0.000<0.05 and the P-value of cognitive learning outcomes was 0.000<0.05, so it can be stated that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is significantly different from the perception of self-efficacy, learning motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students in class XI of MIPA SMA Negeri 11 Enrekang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low digital literacy of biology of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Luwu Timur. This study aims to determine the effect of android-based digital poster learning media on students' digital literacy in ecosystem material. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of this study was all class X with a sample of 2 classes selected randomly. Which consists of 1 experimental class taught using android-based digital poster media, and 1 control class taught using wordwall-based open the box media. Data collection using a questionnaire given before and after treatment in the experimental class and control class. The results of the hypothesis testing at the digital literacy level showed a significance value of 0.023. This shows a sig value <α (0.05) so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is a difference in the influence of digital literacy of students taught using Android-based Digital Poster learning media and wordwall-based Open the Box learning media in class X Ecosystem material.

Abstract

One of the common issues in the learning process is the low learning outcomes of students, which can be caused by various factors, including low emotional intelligence, learning independence, and learning motivation. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence, learning independence, and learning motivation with the science learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at public junior high schools in Panca Rijang Subdistrict, Sidrap Regency. This is a quantitative study using a correlational approach. The study population consists of all eighth-grade students from four public junior high schools, with a sample size of 153 participants selected using simple random sampling. The research instruments include a Likert scale questionnaire to measure emotional intelligence, learning independence, and learning motivation, as well as a multiple-choice test to assess science learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used was path analysis with the assistance of SPSS 25.0. The results of the study showed a significant direct relationship between emotional intelligence, learning independence, and learning motivation with science learning outcomes. Additionally, learning motivation was found to act as an intervening variable that partially mediated the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning independence on science learning outcomes. In conclusion, strengthening emotional intelligence, enhancing learning independence, and developing learning motivation simultaneously can positively contribute to improving students' science learning outcomes. Therefore, a holistic and character-development-oriented learning approach is needed.

Abstract

Abstrak: Luka diabetes merupakan salah satu komplikasi serius yang seringkali menyertai penyakit diabetes melitus. Luka ini umumnya terinfeksi oleh berbagai jenis bakteri. Untuk memastikan pengobatan yang tepat dan efektif, identifikasi jenis bakteri penyebab infeksi secara cepat dan akurat meanjadi sangat penting. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, perkembangan teknologi molekuler telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam cara kita mendiagnosis dan memahami infeksi pada luka diabetes. Metode-metode seperti next-generation sequencing (NGS), PCR-DGGE, dan 16S rRNA sequencing memungkinkan kita untuk menganalisis komposisi mikroba (mikrobioma) yang ada di dalam luka dengan tingkat detail yang jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Artikel ini akan menyajikan tinjauan mendalam terhadap berbagai penelitian terbaru yang telah memanfaatkan teknologi molekuler untuk mengkarakterisasi mikrobioma pada luka diabetes, Informasi yang diperoleh dari studi-studi tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk mengembangkan strategi pengobatan yang lebih efektif dan personal. Pendekatan pengobatan yang berbasis pada karakteristik mikrobioma individu dapat membantu meningkatkan keberhasilan penyembuhan luka, mengurangi risiko komplikasi, serta meminimalkan penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak perlu

Abstract

Buah Pedada (Sonneratia caseolaris) ialah salah satu jenis tanaman mangrove yang memiliki banyak kandungan yang bermanfaat untuk kesehatan manusia. Asam urat adalah adalah salah satu penyakit yang paling banyak dialami karena disebabkan oleh purin yang tinggi di dalam tubuh manusia atau karena faktor makanan. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh ekstrak etanol buah pedada dalam menurunkan kadar asam urat. Penelitian menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan jumlah mencit 15 ekor yang dibagi dalam 5 kelompok perlakuan dengan ulangan 3 ulangan yaitu P1 diberi ekstrak etanol buah pedada 150 mg/kgBB, P2 diberi ekstrak etanol buah pedada 250 mg/kgBB, P3 diberi ekstrak etanol buah pedada 350 mg/kgBB, K+ diberi alloporinol 0,26 mg/kgBB, dan K- diberi pakan standar. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan Skrining Fitokimia untuk mengetahui senyawa-senyawa yang terkandung didalam ekstrak etanol buah pedada yang dapat menurunkan kadar asam urat pada mencit. Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi. Hasil uji Skrining Fitokimia ekstrak etanol buah pedada didapatkan beberapa kandungan senyawa yang positif yaitu alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid, saponin, dan tanin. Hasil pengujian pada kadar asam urat menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pemberian ekstrak etanol buah pedada terhadap penurunan kadar asam urat pada mencit (Mus musculus) jantan. Pemberian ekstrak etanol buah pedada dengan dosis 350 mg/kgBB memberikan pengaruh yang paling tinggi untuk menurunkan kadar asam urat. Abstract

Bioremediation is a sustainable approach to environmental restoration; however, its effectiveness is often constrained by limited understanding of molecular mechanisms and complex microbial interactions. This study aims to systematically review the transformative role of integrated multi-omics approaches including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics in enhancing bioremediation efficiency. The review was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines across 10 empirical studies published between 2019 and 2024. Data were collected from Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed databases using the keywords “bioremediation,” “multi-omics,” “microbial interactions,” and “environmental restoration.” Data analysis employed a qualitative thematic synthesis approach to identify key patterns and contributions. The findings reveal that multi-omics integration enables the elucidation of key catabolic pathways, identification of critical degradative enzymes, and characterization of synergistic microbial dynamics that drive pollutant degradation. Furthermore, integrating multi-omics data facilitates the rational design and engineering of synthetic microbial consortia with significantly improved bioremediation performance. In conclusion, the multi-omics framework represents a paradigm shift from descriptive to predictive and engineering-based bioremediation, providing a strong scientific foundation for more precise and sustainable environmental recovery strategies.

Abstract

Air sumur yang layak dikomsumsi harus memenuhi berbagai kriteria. Biji kelor menjadi objek penelitian karena memiliki banyak kegunaan dan dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai industri dan obat karena memiliki potensi bakterisida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh pemberian biji kelor (Moringa oleifera Lamk.) terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Escherichia coli pada air sumur. Sampel diambil dari air sumur pondokan yang mengandung bakteri Eschericia coli yang melebihi ambang batas yaitu > 2400 sel/ 100 ml air. Air sumur yang diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan serbuk biji kelor dengan konsentrasi antara 0,05 gram, 0,1 gram dan 0,15 gram dicampurkan dengan beberapa tetes air sampai berbentuk pasta. Air bersih yang diperoleh, diambil sebanyak 100 ml lalu diuji secara bakteriologis dengan metode Most Probable Number (MPN). Pemberian serbuk biji kelor sebanyak 0,05 gram belum mampu menghambat bakteri dengan nilai total MPN masih mencapai > 2400/ 100 ml air sedangkan 0,1 gram mampu menurunkan jumlah bakteri sekitar 460/ 100 ml air dan 0,15 gram sekitar 210/ 100 ml air.

Abstract

Sagu merupakan salah satu sumber bahan makanan bagi masyarakat di Tana Luwu. Pengolahan pati sagu menghasilkan limbah cair dan limbah padat yang jika tidak ditangani dengan baik dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan. Ampas sagu dan pucuk batang sagu adalah limbah padat yang dihasilkan dari pengolahan pati sagu yang masih mengandung selulosa cukup tinggi. Kandungan selulosa yang tinggi merupakan potensi yang besar untuk dapat diolah dan dimanfaatkan kembali sehingga dapat mengurangi jumlah limbah yang dibuang ke lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan potensi ampas sagu sebagai media pertumbuhan ulat sagu berdasarkan berat dan panjang ulat sagu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan penambahan ampas sagu sebanyak 25 gram (P1), 30 gram (P2), 35 gram (P3), dan 40 gram (P4) dengan pengamatan selama 20 hari. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan metode Regresi Linear. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ampas sagu berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan berat ulat sagu (Sig. 0,007 < 0,05) dan panjang ulat sagu (Sig. 0,009 < 0,05).

Abstract

This study is research and development. This study aims to obtain a practical HOTS-oriented module based on the implementation of the module and the response of teachers and students as practitioners. The research instruments used were module implementation observation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. Practical data collection is carried out by providing implementation observation sheets to observers and response questionnaires are given to teachers and students. The results showed that the implementation of the module had an average score of 4.59 with the category carried out very well, the results of the teacher response questionnaire analysis had an average value of 4.58 with the practical category, and the results of the student response questionnaire analysis had an average value of 4.54 with the practical category. The conclusion of this study is that the HOTS-oriented module on biology material in the even semester of class X high school / MA developed has met the implementation criteria with the category of very well implemented and the response of teachers and students shows that the developed module is practically used in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between learning motivation, learning attitude, and adversity quotient with biology learning outcomes of eleventh grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Makassar. The research method used is ex-post facto with a correlational nature. The population of this study consists of all students of SMA Negeri 1 Makassar totaling 1212 students. The sample of the study is the eleventh grade science class determined using the Slovin formula, with a sample size of 132 students. Data collection involved instruments measuring learning motivation, learning attitude, and adversity quotient comprising 90 items of statements and documentation. The research findings revealed a correlation coefficient of 0.809, indicating a strong relationship between the variables.
