Abstract

The level of competition in the insurance industry is currentlyincreasingly showing improvement. This is seen from the number of companiesoffering life insurance services in Indonesia, especially in Padang, West Sumatra.Therefore, to be able to survive in the life insurance industry, Jiwasraya must beable to maintain customers and increase the number of customers. One strategy isto improve service quality. Because this will be able to shape customersatisfaction and loyalty.This research will be carried out by the Jiwasraya insurance customer inPadang Branch. Research location spread in the Padang Branch Area, with asample of 100 customers. The data collection technique used is using aquestionnaire. Whereas for analyzing data, the SPSS 17.00 for Windows andSmartPLS programs are used.The results of this study indicate that: 1) service quality affects thesatisfaction of Jiwasraya insurance customers 2) service quality affects the loyaltyof Jiwasraya's insurance customers; 3) customer satisfaction affects the loyalty ofJiwasraya insurance customers, 4) service quality affects the loyalty ofJiwasraya's insurance customers through customer satisfaction.Based on the results of the study, the company must be able to increasecustomer satisfaction, one of which is to improve and improve the quality of services provided to customers.

Abstract

Business performance can be improved by implementating Total Quality Management. Total Quality Management plays a very important role in increasing the strength of the business competitiveness. Good business performance will be able to compete with other businesses in improving the quality of the product. This research aims to determine the effects of Total Quality Management practice to business performance and competitiveness as a mediation variable at small and medium business in Dumai City. Population of this research is small and medium business that produces a typical souvenirs of Riau in Dumai City, totaling 68 bussiness.The sampling technique using census method. Hypothesis testing in this research is using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS. The result showed that Total Quality Management practice have positive and significant effect on competitiveness and business performance. Competitiveness have positive and significant effect on business performance and Total Quality Management practice have positive and significant effect on business performance by competitiveness as a mediation variable. Competitiveness in this research is a partial mediation variable.Keywords : Total Quality Management Practice, Business Performance, Competitiveness.

Abstract

This research is done on Beauty Products Brand Make Over in Pekanbaru City. With the aim to know and analyze the influence of product quality and brand image to customer satisfaction and customer loyalty On beauty products make over brand In Pekanbaru City. Where in this study population is women who have age 20 to 49 years who is domiciled in Pekanbaru City Riau Province. The sample used in this research is 104 customer and data processing using path analysis method. Based on the results of the test if the data by using the path analysis can be taken several conclusions are: there is a significant influence between product quality variables on customer satisfaction, there is a significant influence between brand image variable to customer satisfaction, there is a significant influence between product quality variables on customer loyalty , there is significant influence between variable of brand image to customer satisfaction, there is significant influence between customer satisfaction variable to customer loyalty, there is significant influence between product quality variable to customer loyalty through customer satisfaction, and there is no significant influence between variable of brand image to customer loyalty through customer satisfaction.Keyword: Product Quality, Brand Image, Satisfaction and Loyalty

Abstract

Abdurrahman al-Nasir was the leader of Bani umayyah in Andalusia that famous and be a good model for every people. In his government period, Bany Umayyah could achieve the glory especially in knowledge field. In advancing the society’s need of knowledge, Abdurrahahman al-Nasir built Cordova University and library to facilitate the education system. Furthermore, education world in Abdurrahman al-Nasir government period becomes the priority and made Cordova as the center of intellectual activities, it was the same that happened in Toledo and Suville. The education center connected the education dualism of Religious knowledge and general knowledge such as Astronomy, Geometry, Health, Law, History, Language, Geography, and Science. Soon there were born Muslim scientists from any kinds of knowledge fields. With the persistence of Abdurrahman al-Nasir, he created the composure and also the prosperous Andalusia especially Cordova. With the result that Islamic government in the West painted the brilliant history and could compete with Islamic civilization in the East.

Abstract

This study aims to test the variables of total quality service (reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangibles) on customer satisfaction at PT Pegadaian (Persero) the Branch Office of Pekanbaru City. The object of this research is PT Pegadaian (Persero) the Branch Office of Pekanbaru City. The population in this study are customers of PT Pegadaian (Persero) the Branch Office of Pekanbaru City amounting to 51,134 customers with a sample of 100 customers. Primary data was collected by questionnaire as instrument to prove the result of research, to test the hypothesis in this study used Multiple Linear Regression method and SPSS program version 20. The sampling technique that has been selected is the probability sampling method with random sampling (simple random sampling). The results of this study indicate that all variables of TQS (reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangibles) have significant influence on customer satisfaction at PT Pegadaian (Persero) Branch Pekanbaru City.Keywords : Total quality service, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangibles, customer satisfaction

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kepemimpinan, fokus pada konsumen, pemberdayaan karyawan dan manajemen proses terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan PT. Telkomsel Pekanbaru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua karyawan tetap di PT. Telkomsel Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 123 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan rumus slovin sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanya 94 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS dan Uji Beda T-Test. Dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa Kepemimpinan, fokus pada konsumen, pemberdayaan karyawan dan manajemen proses secara simultan dan parsial berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawandi PT. Telkomsel Pekanbaru. Kepuasan kerja karyawan laki-laki dan perempuan relative tidak berbeda, walupun secara rata-rata kepuasan kerja karyawan perempuan lebih tinggi dari kepuasan kerja karyawan laki-laki. Perbedaan tersebut ditunjukkan dengan orientasi dimana kepuasan kerja karyawan laki-laki terletak pada tugas yang dikerjakan dan motivasi yang diberikan atasan, sedangkan orientasi kepuasan kerja karyawan perempuan ada pada besaran gaji, peluang promosi dan interaksi antar karyawan di dalam perusahaan. Pimpinan perusahaan harus memperhatikan sistem gaji dan promosi yang telah ada karena karyawan yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki menganggap bahwa sistem gaji dan promosi belum dapat memuaskan kerja, selain itu pimpinan juga perlu memperhatikan bagaimana hubungan interaksi yang ada baik itu karyawan dengan karyawan maupun karyawan dengan pimpinan sehingga kepuasan kerja dapat meningkat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) To analyze the effect of customerrelationship marketing on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction Bank Riau Syariah Pekanbaru. 2) To analyze the effect of product excellence tow ard customer loyalty through customer satisfaction Bank Riau Syariah Pekanbaru.3) To analyze the influence of customer value on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction Bank Riau Syariah Pekanbaru. 4) To analyze the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty Bank Riau Syariah Pekanbaru.This research was conducted in Pekanbaru in Bank Riau Syariah Pekanbaru which take place in September 2015. As for the population in this study were all Customer Savings Bank Riau Syariah Pekanbaru totaling 66 021 people.Sampling using accidental sampling method that is 100 Customer Savings Bank Riau Syariah Pekanbaru, which incidentally met with investigators can be used as a sample. Data collection technique used by a questionnaire containing statements based on variables studied. Data were analyzed using path analysis.From the results obtained the following conclusions: 1) customer relationship marketing positive and significant impact on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction Bank Riau Syariah Pekanbaru. 2) The value of customers' positive and significant impact on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction Islamic Bank Riau in Pekanbaru. 3) Advantage positive and significant impact on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction Bank Riau Syariah Pekanbaru. 4) That the customer satisfaction and significant positive effect on customer loyalty Bank Riau Syariah Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of Quality Management Implementation (X) on Employee’s Performance (Y) by mediating Job Satisfaction (M) at CV. Ryur Namuri Chan In Kubang Village, Guguak District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The population in this study included all employees at CV. Ryur Namuri Chan, which amounts 63 people.Primary data were collected using a questionnaire as an instrument for research results, to test the hypothesis in this study was to use SEM-PLS with the help of the SmartPLS program. The sampling technique chosen was the census method (63 employees at CV. Ryur Namuri Chan in Kubang Village, Guguak District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency). The results showed that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence on the implementation of quality management on job satisfaction at CV. Ryur Namuri Chan, 2) There is a positive and significant influence on the implementation of quality management on employee’s performance, 3) There is a positive and significant effect of job satisfaction on employee performance, 4) The mediation test show that job satisfaction provides a mediating role in the implementation of quality management on Employee Performance at CV. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence between information sharing and long-term relationships on supply chain performance and the effect of supply chain performance on competitive advantage in the small and mediumsized at rendang industry in Payakumbuh. Respondents in this study are 43 members of IKM Rendang Payakumbuh that registered at the Department of Industry and Manpower. The data collected was first tested with validity and reliability tests, then the validated data were processed using SEM-PLS with Wrap-PLS 7.0 software. The results of data processing showed that there is an insignificant influence between information sharing on supply chain performance and there is a significant positive relationship between long-term relationships and supply chain performance. There is also a significant positive relationship between supply chain performance and competitive advantage.Keywords: Information sharing, long-term relationships, supply chain performance, competitive advantage, and Wrap-PLS.

Abstract

Posisi semi fowler merupakan posisi setengah duduk dengan membentuk sudut 15-45°. Penerapan posisi semi fowler pada pasien Tuberculosis Paru mampu mengatasi masalah kesulitan pernapasan dan membuat pasien merasa nyaman.Tujuan penelitian dari studi kasus penerapan posisi semi fowler adalah meningkatkan kemampuan bernafas 2 pasien agar mampu meningkatkan kemandirian posisi semi fowler secara mandiri. Metode penelitian ini studi kasus deskriptif yang menggambarkan penerapan posisi semi fowler pada 2 responden dengan gangguan kebutuhan dasar oksigenasi di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Makassar. Hasil studi kasus penelitian yang di dapatkan adalah telah di lakukan penerapan posisi semi fowler pada pasien Tn. D dan Tn. A dan di dapatkan kedua masalah pasien teratasi. Kesimpulan dari penilitian ini adalah posisi semi fowler sangat efektif untuk di lakukan karena dapat mengurangi sesak napas yang di alami oleh klien dan dapat membuat klien merasa nyaman. Kesimpulan terjadi penurunan tanda dan gejala Tuberculosis Paru pada kedua responden dan meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menerapkan posisi semi fowler secara mandiri.
