Abstract

This study aims to describe the challenges of Islamic Religious Education teachers in facing the changes in the era of globalization of the technology industry 4.0 at SMA Negeri 01 Bengkulu Tengah. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and refers to case studies. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. For data validity using observation persistence, triangulation techniques and sources.The results of the study show that the challenges faced by Islamic Education teachers in the changing era of globalization of the technology industry 4.0 in SMA Negeri 01 Bengkulu Tengah, there are several challenges, one of which is that teachers must be required to be digital literate where teachers must increase their understanding and knowledge in technology in order to implement this knowledge. In the teaching process, another challenge faced by Islamic Education teachers is that teachers must be able to innovate their teaching methods according to existing developments. Apart from teachers, other challenges came from students, where students' morale was eroded due to changes in technological globalization, and student social action towards their environment was also eroded, not only among students but also appearing indifferent to their responsibilities as students.

Abstract

Penetilian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan di Pondok pesantren modern Darussalam kabupaten Kepahiang. Pondok pesantren dikenal sebagai lembaga pendidikan tertua di Indonsia yang mana telah dikenal sebagai salah satu model pendidikan berbasis masyarakat karena berdirinya pendidikan brbasis pondok pesantren ini berdiri atas inisiatif dan dukungan dari pada masyarakat. Kedisiplinan atau disiplin dalam bahasa Inggris yakni discipline yang berarti: (1) tertib, taat, atau mengendalikan tingkah laku, penguasaan diri, kendali diri, (2) Latihan membentuk, meluruskan dan menyempurnakan sesuatu, sebagai kemampuan mental atau karakter moral, (3) hukuman yang diberikan untu melatih atau memperbaiki. Di Pondok pesantren modern Darussalam Kepahiang kedisiplinan tentunya menjadi prioritas yang harus diterapkan didalam pondok terutama dalam seluruh kegiatan yang ada didalam pondok pesantren terkhusus dalam kegiatan olat berjama’ah dan kegiatan bahasa.Adapun sholat berjama’ah, sholat yang dilakukan oleh dua orang atau lebih, dinama harus ada imam dan makmum, sedangkan kegiatan bahasa adalah kegiatan yang digunakan untu melatih diri supaya bisa berbahasa yang benar seperti bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa negara, bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa Internasional dan bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa Al-Qur’an.Dalam pnelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan menggubakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yaitu metode penelitian yang berusaha menggambarkan secara sistematis, faktual dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta dan populasi tertentu dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Temuan dalam penelitian di Pondok pesantren modern Darussalam Kepahiang ini, untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan tentunya kontribusi dari pada pihak pondok pesantren itu sangat dibutuhkan karna hal tersebut sangat berpengaruh dalam pengaplikasiannya terhadap santri. Maka dari itu, kontribusi dari ustadz ustadzah, organisasi santri dan bagian tenaga kependidikan lainnya sangat dibutuhkan didalam pondok pesantren.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an ideal leadership model for Islamic educational institutions based on cultural diversity. The focus of this research is to understand how the interaction between leadership and cultural diversity affects management effectiveness and the quality of education in these institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation analysis in several Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia that have a high level of cultural diversity. The results show that the success of leadership in this context is highly dependent on the ability of leaders to adapt to local cultural values, integrate those cultures into management practices, and create an inclusive and participatory environment. The proposed leadership model emphasizes the importance of flexibility, inclusivity, and respect for cultural diversity. The implications of this study show that a leadership approach that is responsive to cultural diversity can improve the effectiveness of management and the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions. The study also recommends the development of leadership training programs that focus on cultural diversity to strengthen leaders' ability to face complex challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the challenges and opportunities in implementing Islamic-based management models in educational institutions in Madura, which are rich in local culture. The main focus of this research is to integrate sharia principles with local customs and culture to create a more effective and harmonious managerial environment. The research methods used include in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and questionnaire surveys, which allow for the collection of qualitative and quantitative data. The research sample consisted of several Islamic educational institutions spread across Madura, with selection based on certain criteria such as the size of the institution and the involvement of local cultural figures. The results show that resistance to change and limited resources are the main obstacles to adopting an Islamic-based management model. However, opportunities such as community involvement in decision-making and innovation in managerial practices can be leveraged to overcome these barriers. The implications of this study show that a collaborative approach involving community leaders and other stakeholders can increase the effectiveness of educational institution management. Additionally, flexibility in policies and training programs that are sensitive to local contexts can increase employee acceptance and satisfaction. This research makes an important contribution to the development of a more adaptive and inclusive Islamic-based institutional management model, which can be applied in various cultural contexts. Further research is recommended to test this model in the long term and at different levels of educational institutions.

Abstract

The existing literacy program in the higher education has not successfully translated into effective science learning, resulting in students lacking awareness of the significance of scientific literacy in their daily lives. This study aims to analyse the validity, practicality and effectiveness of using biodiversity e-module based on socioscientific issues and local potential to improve students’ scientific literacy. The method employed in this research is the research and development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. The participants of this study are 37 fourth-semester students enrolled in the Tadris IPA Program at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu, who are taking the biodiversity course in the academic year 2023/2024, consisting of one class. Data collection was conducted through an indirect communication approach using instruments such as validation questionnaires and tests to obtain data on scientific literacy achievements. The findings of this study are the utilization of biodiversity teaching materials grounded in socio-scientific issues and local potential is highly suitable for implementation in science education. The instructional materials exhibit a commendable feasibility level, meeting the criteria for good feasibility. This indicates that the teaching materials are readily comprehensible for students. Moreover, the developed teaching materials prove effective in enhancing four key facets of scientific literacy such as the body of knowledge, science as a way of investigation, science as a way of thinking and the interaction of science and technology and society.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah proses belajar dimana peserta didik aktif mengembangkan potensinya . UINFAS Bengkulu merupakan perguruan tinggi islam yang memiliki mahasiswa dari latar belakang yang bermacam-macam. Karakter yang Dimiliki mahasiswa nya pun beragam. faktor terbentuknya karakter mahasiswa adalah keluarga, masyarakat, teman sebaya dan lingkungan disekitarnya. UKM-KI UINFAS adalah sebuah Lembaga organisasi didalam lingkup lingkungan kampus yang bergerak dalam bidang kerohanian islam. Dengan adanya organisasi ini diharapkan dapat menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter Qur’ani dalam kehidupannya maupun lingkungan masyarakat. dengan adanya kegiatan yang ada di kampus dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap mahasiswa dengan lingkungan sosialnya. tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi kegiatan UKM-KI yang dapat membentuk karakter mahasiswa di UINFAS BENGKULU. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dan untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti melakukan jenis penelitian library research yaitu mengumpulkan karya tulis ilmiah yang berhubungan dengan masalah yang dibahas. Adapun hasil penelitian mengenai implementasi karakter mahasiswa pada kegiatan UKM-KI. Dengan adanya implementasi yang dilakukan UKM-KI UINFAS Bengkulu yang melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan yang positif dan bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa dapat membentuk karakter mahasiswa menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the integration of prayer in the management of Islamic boarding school education is an important topic to study in the context of the development of religious culture and spiritual leadership in Islamic educational institutions. This study aims to explore how the integration of prayer can build religious culture and spiritual leadership in Islamic boarding schools. A qualitative approach with a case study method is used to explore this phenomenon. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation in several Islamic boarding schools in Madura, East Java. The results of the study show that shalawat plays a significant role in the daily life of students and the management of Islamic boarding schools. The integration of prayer helps create a religious atmosphere, improve student discipline, and strengthen spiritual leadership in Islamic boarding schools. The implication of this study is the importance of adopting the integration of prayer as a managerial strategy in pesantren education to form religious character and effective leadership.
