Abstract

This study aims to produce an effective Entrepreneurship MBKM model in increasing student creativity by producing lecture outputs by students in the form of business plan drafts, startups, and entrepreneurship PkM proposals. The MBKM Entrepreneurship model used is said to be effective if there is an increase in creativity competence and it produces lecture outputs by students which are statistically significant and the average n-gain is at least in the moderate category. The research design in this study used a pre-experiment with a one group pre-test and post-test design. The research subjects were 30 students of Unesa physics in the 2021/2022 academic year. The instrument used in this research is a creativity assessment to assess student portfolio results. Data were analyzed using paired t-test and N-gain to see the increase in creativity. The results showed that there was a difference in creativity before and after the model was applied and a significant increase in student creativity and the average N-gain increase in student creativity in the medium criteria. In addition, students are able to produce creative products in the form of business plan drafts, startups, and entrepreneurship PkM proposals with a minimum score of B+.

Abstract

Improvements have been made to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic through GMeet due to restrictions on crowding and maintaining distance between students, while learning must continue. This study aims to improve student learning activities and problem-solving abilities. Improvement of learning through classroom action research. Data were analyzed descriptively. The instruments are in the form of a Problem Solving Ability Test sheet and an Observation Sheet. The results of improving the use of GMeet learning in group discussions which in its implementation combined with WhatsApp and Google forms can improve student learning activities and problem-solving abilities. The increase in student learning activities in the first cycle, the percentage of student activity was 66% in sufficient criteria to 80% in good criteria in the second cycle. This shows that the percentage of student activity has increased and has reached the predetermined indicators of success. This increase in problem-solving ability can be seen in the average class value and the increase in the percentage of completeness after being given treatment. In the first cycle, the average value is 65 with a percentage of 65%, the and second cycle is an average of 80.25 with a percentage of 80%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concepts of physics in electric scooters, solar panel street lights, and water heaters as physics teaching materials. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with literature study. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of observation and documentation. Observation is done by observing directly and then documented. The data analysis technique used is to perform data reduction and then draw conclusions. The results obtained are the concepts related to scooters, solar panel street lights, and water heaters are the principles of energy conversion, direct electricity, and heat. In an electric scooter, energy conversion occurs from electrical energy into motion energy, a solar panel street light converts solar energy into electrical energy, and a water heater converts electrical energy into heat energy. That way, it can be an alternative teaching material in learning with concrete examples in the surrounding environment. So that it can make the learning process more meaningful.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to find out the trend of the author's topics and keywords that are widely used related to Virtual Lab Physics to find out future research opportunities. The research method used is descriptive analysis method research through the bibliometric approach. The results of a Google Scholar database search found 463,000 articles for 2016-2021 with the keywords "Virtual Lab Physics". Meanwhile, based on the Scopus database, Scopus-indexed articles were obtained for 2003-2021. Search results are stored in the form of RIS and CSV will then be analyzed using the VOSviewer application and Ms. Excel to obtain a visualization in the form of a bibliometric map. The results of data analysis show that the keywords often used and related to the Virtual Physics Lab during 2016-2021 are Physics, Engineering, Science, Physics Education Research, and Interest Laboratories. Indonesian researchers in contributing internationally are still lacking, this research topic is dominated in China and the United States of America with the document types being mostly conference papers. So far, research related to the topic of Virtual Lab Physics is still quiet so it has the potential to be developed. In addition, there are recommendations for Virtual Lab Physics research that can be collaborated with one of the related keywords, namely Engineering as an opportunity for research topics to be developed.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to explore research trends related to the use of Massive Open Online Courses in Learning Management Systems (MOOCs in LMS) in university environments and to conduct bibliometric analysis to understand research developments related to this topic. Online learning is increasingly popular with the MOOCs in LMS, which allows students to learn flexibly and independently through digital platforms. Method: The data is retrieved from the Google Scholar database, using keywords related to MOOCs in LMS and universities. This study uses a bibliometric analysis method using the Google Scholar and VOSviewer databases, which obtained 1,710 articles. Results: The results show that the use of MOOCs in LMS in the context of university learning has become an increasingly popular research topic in recent years, where the publication rate has increased significantly. This has the potential to be further investigated in the future. Further research related to MOOCs in LMS can be integrated with blended learning models. This is because the Blended learning model using MOOCs can improve critical thinking skills and problem-solving. This research has limitations, namely using only one database, Google Scholar, to obtain research data. Novelty: Therefore, it is recommended that MOOCs in LMS research at universities be carried out using other databases besides Google Scholar to obtain broader data.
