Kemampuan memahami bacaan di Indonesia sekarang ini masih terbilang rendah, tidak semua siswa dalam satu kelas mampu memahami bacaan dengan baik. Keadaan tersebut perlu dilakukan perbaikan untuk siswa maupun tenaga pendidik itu sendiri. Berbagai metode dan juga media diberikan untuk memperbaiki keadaan tersebut. Salah satunya dengan melalui gerakan literasi membaca. Demi memenuhi gerakan literasi, diperlukan adanya media yang mendukung, seperti halnya buku cerita bergambar. Meskipun demikian, tidak menutup kemungkinan bahwa masih terdapat banyak siswa sekolah dasar dengan kemampuan memahami bacaan yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian adalah (a) untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil dari pemahaman literasi membaca siswa sebelum tindakan dan sesudah tindakan; (b) untuk mengetahui keefektivitasan penggunaan media buku cerita bergambar terhadap pemahaman membaca siswa kelas atas sekolah dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan metode experiment comparative, desain penelitian berupa one-group pretest and posttest design. Populasi menggunakan siswa kelas atas dengan kemampuan pemahaman membaca rendah. Analisis data yang diperlukan berupa uji normalitas, uji hipotesis serta uji regresi. Didapati hasil berupa adanya perbedaan hasil pada hasil pretest dan posttest yang menunjukkan bahwa buku cerita bergambar efektif meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa, besar sig. 0,000 < 0,05.

Fanpage Griya Muda merupakan salah satu fanpage Facebook yang berpotensi menjadi media informasi Pendidikan Kesehatan Reproduksi dan Seksual (PKRS) bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Kota Semarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memprediksi seberapa besar potensi popularitas fanpage Griya Muda sebagai media informasi PKRS berdasarkan analisis popularitas dan analisis persepsi mahasiswa PGSD Kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan data primer berupa hasil observasi terhadap keseluruhan aspek fanpage yang meliputi Frontpage, About, Activity, Response, dan Engagement serta persepsi mahasiswa PGSD terhadap kualitas informasi berupa aspek Relevancy, Clarity, Credibility, Amount of Information, Coverage dan Usefulness. Analisis data secara kualitatif deskriptif dengan bantuan aplikasi likealyzer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fanpage Griya Muda sangat potensial untuk populer di kalangan mahasiswa PGSD Kota Semarang.

The purpose of this social service is to provide learning mediatraining based on the presentation application, Sparcol and Powtoon.This activity was given to teachers in Elementary School 9Purwodadi. The social service session consists of installing anapplication, creating an account, adding images and text, changingthe background, and saving the results that have been made. Themodel used is a workshop model with lectures, demonstrations,question and answer and direct practice methods. Evaluation is doneby distributing information and motivation questionnaires toparticipants and product checklists. In general, participants claimedthat the training schedule was right, the time sharing (lectures,demonstrations, question-answer and direct practice) was also feltpositively by the participants. Participants are satisfied with the topicpresented and feel that most of the expectations and objectives of thesocial service are fulfilled. Evaluation results indicate that thematerial delivered can be followed well.

Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikanpengetahuan dan pelatihan terkait media pembelajaran berbasisteknologi Prezi kepada kepala sekolah dan guru MIM Parakan,Karanganyar. Materi yang diberikan adalah pengantarpembelajaran media, cara mendaftarkan akun Prezi, cara memasangdan cara menggunakan pembelajaran dari Prezi. Metode yangdigunakan adalah tanya jawab, praktik langsung, dan demonstrasi.Evaluasi dilakukan dengan membagikan angket pengetahuan danmotivasi serta daftar periksa produk kepada peserta. Secara umum,peserta menyatakan bahwa jadwal dan waktu pelatihan sudah tepat.Rata-rata peserta puas dengan topik yang disajikan. Meskipunbeberapa harapan peserta tidak terpenuhi karena koneksi internetdan laptop yang kurang mendukung. Namun, ada indikasi bahwapeserta terlatih dengan baik dalam hal peningkatan pengetahuan danmotivasi. Selain itu, karya sederhana dari para peserta juga cukupbaik.

The main objective of this service activity is to organize workshops for MIM PK Tegalampel teachers in developing teaching modules for the Merdeka Curriculum. Explicitly, the results of this community service activity are expected to increase teachers' insights and skills related to developing teaching modules for the Merdeka Curriculum. Additional outputs of this program include the publication of community service articles in community service journals. There are five main stages in this community service activity, from planning to publication. In addition to the agenda, the meeting proposed the formation of a group of workshop presenters consisting of lecturers and students, with students acting as co-presenters. The results of the meeting were then communicated to the partners. The workshop will be organized by a team consisting of 1 lecturer and 3 students, with 13 teachers and 1 principal as participants. The workshop is conducted offline, with face-to-face activities during the briefing. The briefing material is delivered through PowerPoint, followed by the practice of making teaching modules. Evaluation of the success of this activity is based on the tasks done. The task of making Teaching Modules is assessed based on the suitability of its components

This study analyzed the obstacles, strategies, and results of flag ceremony activities in Indonesian elementary schools. The method used in this study was a systematic literature review. The information used contained an attitude of nationalism. The literature review process was conducted by searching for relevant articles, evaluating them using data extraction, and then comparing the literature results. The database used was Google Scholar. The results of this study indicated that (1) the obstacles in cultivating nationalism are the lack of discipline, order, and mutual respect among people; (2) the strategies used in cultivating nationalism include reminding, guiding, and explaining, as well as involving teachers and students in instilling nationalism; (3) the result of cultivating nationalism in flag ceremony activities is the formation of individuals who are moral and ethical and understand the importance of the activities. The implications of this study were: first, teachers must be able to provide understanding and examples related to instilling nationalism; second, students can make habituation through good behaviour to be applied in daily life. This study revealed the inculcation of nationalism in Indonesian elementary schools comprehensively.

This study aimed to reveal the obstacles, strategies, and results of instilling a disciplinary character through congregational prayer in Indonesian elementary schools. The method used in this study was a systematic literature review. The information used contained an attitude of discipline. The literature review process began by searching for relevant articles, evaluating them by data extraction, and then comparing the results of the literature. The database used was Google Scholar. The results of this study indicate that (1) Obstacles to instilling discipline include parents who lack or have not followed up on school programs that have been implemented in schools, students who are still unaware, and a lack of infrastructure. (2) The strategy found in dealing with obstacles in instilling disciplinary character is imposing sanctions on students who refuse to pray. (3) The results of cultivating discipline through congregational prayer can improve student worship discipline. The implications of this study are as follows: First, the teacher can set an example for their students in cultivating the character of discipline through the habit of congregational prayer at school. Second, parents can monitor the program that has been implemented at school. Third, students can become accustomed to doing good things, which they can then apply in everyday life. This study revealed the cultivation of discipline in Indonesian elementary schools comprehensively.

Education is a service that must be taken and accepted by every human being. The main objective of instilling primary education in children is to develop children's intelligence, personality, character and personality to produce children with noble characters. This study aimed to analyze the value of the cooperation character depicted in the animated film A Bug's Life. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative with analysis content. The data was obtained from the animated film A Bug's Life. This study employed a documentation technique. Data analysis was done by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The assessment technique to check the validity of the data was a credibility test with techniques of extending observations and increasing perseverance. The findings showed that the animated film A Bug's Life has seven sub-values of cooperation characters. They are (1) Cooperation with the type of activities of collecting food together, creating and flying artificial birds; (2) Helping with the type of activities of helping friends who experience a disaster, such as getting lost, falling, and saving baby ants from the blaze; (3) Empathy with activities of empathizing with friends who are crushed by leaf stems, falling, and tumbling over; (4) Positive dependence on activities of assisting friends who need help; (5) Concern with social care activities with the attitude of caring about the life of the lives of creatures around them and caring for the damaged environment; (6) Solidarity with the activity of assisting friends who are facing problems; (7) Deliberation with an activity of finding a way out to fight the evil grasshopper mob

The purpose of this service activity are (1) Providing knowledge to participants regarding the creation of teaching materials using learning media based on information technology and the internet. (2) Provide skills in making learning videos based on information technology and the internet through the Zoom Meeting application. The method used in this training is a combination of lectures, questions and answers, discussions, and hands-on practice. Given the pandemic period, the implementation is carried out according to health protocols so that participants maintain distance. The training material is divided into two, namely how to make interesting learning materials and how to record video learning materials through Zoom Meetings. Thisservice activity can support the learning process, it can also increase the credibility of the school. The implementation of the training was highly appreciated by the school. They hope to be able to practice what has been obtained in this training and still want to be given assistance

Dishonest behavior, such as corruption, bribery, etc., is often encountered. It is certainly contrary to the goals of national education. The character of honesty in elementary schools in Indonesia still needs to be instilled in students, considering that the honesty of students in elementary schools is still low. This study aims to analyze the strategy for implementing an honesty canteen, the obstacles to implementing an honesty canteen and the results of implementing an honesty canteen program in improving the honest character of students in elementary schools. The method used in this paper is a systematic literature review. The data at this writing uses articles from Google Scholar spanning the last ten years discussing the honesty canteen program. Data were analyzed using the keywords honesty canteen and honesty character. An assessment technique to check the validity of the data is carried out using source triangulation. The results of this study show that (1) the strategy for implementing the honesty canteen must involve the involvement of teachers, students, as well as all people in the school environment, (2) the lack of honest canteen management in elementary schools makes it difficult for students to return their returns. It is because sometimes there is no small money in the canteen. (3) the honesty canteen is carried out through a self-service system program; students carry out personal services at the stages of product transaction needs through this system. Students are trained to be honest when buying meals at the honesty canteen.
