Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Gaya Kepemimpinan Transaksional Wali Kelas di MAN 1 dan MAN 2 Pontianak dalam meningkatkan prestasi akademik dan non akademik. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Wali Kelas, Guru dan Siswa. Adapun hasil dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Gaya kepemimpinan transaksional wali kelas MAN 1 dan MAN 2 Pontianak melakukan pembinaan wali kelas secara rutin yang diadakan dua minggu sekali. Gaya kepemimpinan transaksional wali kelas dalam menggerakkan siswa di MAN 1 dan MAN 2 Pontianak juga memilki cara yang sama yaitu menggunakan metode pendekatan dan kerjasama. Gambaran gaya kepemimpinan transaksional wali kelas di MAN 1 dan MAN 2 Pontianak memiliki cara yang sama yaitu penerapan reward dan. Wali kelas MAN 1 dan MAN 2 Pontianak memiliki gaya yang sama dalam membina siswa yaitu menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan transakional dengan cara membimbing, memotivasi, dan mengarahkan secara langsung. Alasan wali kelas MAN 1 dan MAN 2 Pontianak menampilkan gaya kepemimpinan transaksional karena para wali kelas merasa gaya kepemimpinan transaksional merupakan cara yang tepat dalam mempengaruhi siswa. Kata Kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan Transaksional, Wali Kelas Abstract: This research of this study are to find style of transactional leadership made by classroom teacher in MAN 1 and MAN 2 Pontianak to increasing the students academic and non academic. The method of this research was qualitave with case study approachment. The subject in this research was head master, classroom teacher, teacher and students. The result in this research can conclude are: style of transactional leadership made by classroom teachers in MAN 1 and MAN 2 Pontianak gave guidance to classroom teachers that held one in two weeks. Style of transactional leadership that made by classroom teachers in MAN 1 and MAN 2 Pontianak has the same way to influence students. That they used approachment and cooperation method. Style of transactional leadership that made by classroom teachers in MAN 1 and MAN 2 Pontianak has the same style that is by giving reward and punishment. The classroom teachers in MAN 1 and MAN 2 Pontianak has the same way in guiding students applying transactional leadership by directing, motivating, and guiding students directly. The reasons of classroom teachers in MAN 1 and MAN 2 Pontianak in applying the transactional leadership because it was a great way to influence and affect student. Abstract

AbstractThis research entitled the influence of tutoring by Khatulistiwa Berbagi Social groups on the learning achievements of marginal children in the area of Komplek Waduk Permai Pontianak. This research purpose to find out the influence of tutoring on the learning achievements of marginal children, with the general problem is "How the influence of tutoring by Khatulistiwa Berbagi Social groups on the learning achievement of marginal children of Komplek Waduk Permai Pontianak area" is quantitative with the research subjects of 58 marginal children selected from 67 marginal children using sample random sampling method. Data collection techniques are indirect communication techniques and documentation techniques, data collection tools are questionnaires and archives. The results obtained showed the influence of tutoring by Khatulistiwa Berbagi Social groups by 68% and the learning achievement of marginal children of Komplek Waduk Permai Pontianak area is 84.5%, both are in the high category. The result of hypothesis testing shows that there is a positive and significant influence between tutoring and marginal student learning achievement with rCount bigger than rTable (0.845> 0.254) and Sig value. smaller than Alpha (α) (0.00 <0.05). Regression equation Y = 14,090 + 0,873 X showed that if tutoring increase one, hence learning achievement increase equal to 0,873. Adjusted determinant value R2 = 0.708 which means the influence of tutoring on learning achievement is 70.8% and 29.2% the rest is influenced by other factors.Keywords: Tutoring, Khatulistiwa Berbagi, Learning Achievement, Marginal

Abstract

 AbstractThis reseach entitled “The Influence of School Libraries Utilization to The Study Result of Sociology Subjects Class X Students in SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak". The general problem is "How is the influence of school librarys utilization to the study result of sociology subjects class X students in SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak?" The method used is descriptive statistics method with a sample of 182 respondence. The techniques of data collection used are indirect communication techniques and documentation techniques. The tools of data collection used are questionnaires and data recap value of sociology subjects re-examinations at class X students in SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. The technique of data analysis used calculation of product moment and to knowing the influence of independent variable to dependent variable is used "t" test . The results showed that there was a significant impacts in utilization of school library on the study result of sociology subjects as much as 72.7%. Based on these results, the teachers of sociology subject are advised to often encourage the students to more often utilize the collection of sociology books in the school library. Abstract

                                   AbstractThe title of the research was "Parenting Single Parenting (Case Study in DesaTeluk Kapuas Kecamatan Sungai Raya KabupatenKubu Raya)". The research method used was a qualitative research method with descriptive research type. The data source of this research was a single parent who is in the village of Teluk Kapuas. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation, data collection tools were observation guides, interview guides and documentation tools. The analysis in this study was presented in a descriptive qualitative manner, using 8 informants namely, 3 single parents and 5 children from the single parent. The results of his research that (1) Parenting applied by single parents is more dominant with democratic parenting patterns. Itwas proven by parents encouraging children to be open as expressed their opinions, there was good cooperation between parents and children in carrying out activities, there was guidance and direction from parents about good and bad deeds, as well as controls or supervision conducted by parents who were not rigid to children. (2) The impact of parenting that was applied by a single parent gives a positive impact; the child is more confident because it was given support by his parents, cares about the environment inside and outside the home and makes his parents a role model for him.Keywords: Parenting, Single Parents

Abstract

Abstract The title of this study is: Inter-Ethnic Prejudice of Class A Students at The State of Junior High School 3 Sungai Raya. A common problem of this research was the Prejudice Inter-Ethnic of The Students at The State of Junior High School 3 Sungai Raya. The scope of this research includes stereotypical of inter-ethnic in stereotypes, social distance and discrimination of inter-ethnic of the students at The State of Junior High School 3 Sungai Raya. The qualitative approach was used in this research study. The technique of data collecting by using observation, interview and documentation study with tool of data collection by using observation guide, interview guide, note book and archives. The results of this study indicated that stereotypes inter-ethnic, the social distance inter-ethnic and the discrimination of Class A Students at The State of Junior High School 3 Sungai Raya are very minimal. In this study, it is not ethnic issues that make them prejudiced towards certain people, but the problem comes from individual of the students. Prejudice (prasangka) menurut Horton dan Hunt (1999: 65) merupakan “Suatu penilaian yang dinyatakan sebelum mengetahui segenap fakta, yakni sikap etnosentrisme yang cenderung membuat kita menganggap baik orang-orang dalam kelompok sendiri dan menganggap buruk orangorang diluar kelompok kita. Prasangka dapat merusak penilaian kita dan membuat kita tidak mampu mencapai keputusan yang rasional”. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of multicultural education in schools seen from the dimensions of content integration, implementation of multicultural education in schools seen from the dimensions of the knowledge construction process, implementation of multicultural education in schools seen from the dimensions of reducing social prejudice, implementation of multicultural education in schools viewed from the dimensions of justice learning and implementation of multicultural education in schools is seen from the dimensions of school culture empowerment. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are interview techniques and documentation, with a data collection tool in the form of images or photos obtained during the study. AbstractThe title of this research is ?Analysis of Santri Cooperation in Life A Day in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang?. A common problem in this study is how is the cooperation of santri in everyday life in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang, with sub problems (1) how is the cooperation in the form of harmony mutual help santri in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang? (2) how is the cooperation in the form of mutual cooperation harmony santri in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang?. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui integrasi asosiasi, penyebab anggota yang pasif dan upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan integrasi sosial anggota Perkumpulan Saroha Batak Islam di Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Alat pengumpulan data adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawancara dan alat dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi asosiasi sudah baik, tetapi hanya bagi anggota yang aktif saja. Namun, untuk anggota yang pasif dalam integrasi asosiasi belum tercapai. Adapun penyebab anggota yang pasif didalam Perkumpulan ini dikarenakan kesibukan individu itu sendiri, kurangnya rasa kepedulian dan faktor ekonomi. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan integrasi anggota dengan menggunakan teknik pengendalian sosial persuasif. Teknik ini terdiri dari 2 jenis yaitu pengendalian lisan dan pengendalian simbolik. Upaya secara lisan yaitu dalam bentuk himbauan yang dilakukan secara personal dan didalam kegiatan pengajian, sedangkan  upaya secara simbolik adalah melalui undangan.   Kata kunci : Integrasi Sosial, Saroha Batak Islam Abstract: This research study was intended to explore association intgration, caused of passive members and the effort to improve  social integration of Saroha Batak Islam members in Pontianak. Qualitative research method was used in this research study. The techniques of data collection were observation, interview and the study of documentation. The research instruments were the directive of observation, directive of interview, and the documentation tools. This research showed that association integration is good for the active member’s only, but not for passive members. The caused of passive members in this organization were the bustle of the individuals themselves, lacking a sense of concern and economic factor. The effort to improve members integration by using persuasive social control technique. This technique is divided into two types. They were verbal control and symbolic control. The verbal effort was done personally and in pray activity. The symbolic effort was done through invitation.   Key Word: Social Integration, Saroha Batak Islam

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prestasi dan pengaruh motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa etnik Madura di MAS Darul Ulum Sungai Raya. Masalah umum dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana motivasi berprestasi siswa etnik Madura di MAS Darul Ulum Sungai Raya. Bentuk yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode studi korelasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, observasi angket dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan alat pengumpulan data adalah angket, panduan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa etnik Madura baik prestasi akademik maupun prestasi non-akademik yang berpengaruh sangat signifikan. Kata Kunci : Motivasi, Prestasi, Etnik Madura Abstract: This research aims to know achievement and influences of achievement motivation toward madurese student achievement on MAS Darul Ulum Sungai Raya. The problem of this research is how madurese student?s achieving motivation on MAS Darul Ulum  Sungai Raya. The form of this research is quantitative research and the method is correlation study. The techniques used in this resereach are observation, interview, questionere and documentation study, whereas tools of collecting data are questionnaire, interview guideline and documentation. The finding?s showed that there is a significant influence of achievement motivation toward madurese student?s achievement in terms of academic achievement as well as non-academic achievements. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengendalian sosial yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam mengatasi perilaku membolos siswa di SMAN 1 Mempawah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Sedangkan alat pengumpul data adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian sosial preventif, koersif dan kuratif yang dilakukan oleh guru di SMAN 1 Mempawah sudah berjalan sesuai dengan proses pengendalian sosial yang ada, hal ini terlihat dengan adanya pengendalian preventif yang dilakukan oleh guru dengan cara mengingatkan dan memberikan sosialisasi tentang tata tertib yang ada di sekolah kepada siswa. Selain itu pengendalian koersif juga dilakukan oleh guru yaitu memberikan sanksi kepada siswa yang membolos dengan cara memberikan tugas tambahan kepada siswa. Hal lain yang ditemukan yaitu adanya pengendalian kuratif yang dilakukan oleh guru kepada siswa yang melanggar tata tertib membolos dengan memberikan pembinaan kepada siswa tersebut. Kata kunci : Pengendalian Sosial, Pelanggaran Tata Tertib, Membolos, Siswa SMA Abstract: This study was aim to determine the social control carried out by teachers in addressing the behavior of students' ditching at SMAN 1 Mempawah. The method used was descriptive. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation study. While the data collection tools were a guide observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that social control preventive, coercive and curative done by teachers at SMAN 1 Mempawah been run in accordance with the process of social control that exist, it was seen from the control preventive done by teachers by way of reminder and provide socialization on the discipline in the school for students. Besides that, coercive control was also performed by teachers in imposing sanctions on students by providing additional tasks to the student. Another thing was found that the curative control performed by the teacher to the student disciplinary breaches was providing guidance to these students.
