Abstract

Improving work productivity in public service agencies, such as the Population and Civil Registration Office of Bangka Belitung Province, is becoming increasingly crucial in line with the demands for service digitalization and dynamic bureaucratic efficiency. This study aims to analyze the influence of career development, organizational culture, and employee engagement on employee work productivity, with religiosity as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to all employees as research respondents. The analysis results show that career development has a positive and significant effect on religiosity and employee work productivity. Conversely, organizational culture and employee engagement do not show a significant effect on either religiosity or work productivity. Other findings reveal that religiosity is able to partially mediate the effect of career development on work productivity, but does not mediate the relationship between other variables. This study confirms that clarity of structured career development and strengthening religious values ??have a strategic role in maintaining stability and improving employee performance in the public service sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital technology use, market orientation, and entrepreneurial competence on the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with business adaptability as an intervening variable. The study used a quantitative explanatory approach with data collection through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to MSMEs using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to test direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results showed that market orientation and entrepreneurial competence had a positive and significant effect on business adaptability, while the use of digital technology did not show a significant effect. Business adaptability was proven to have a positive and significant effect on MSME business growth. In addition, business adaptability significantly mediated the influence of market orientation and entrepreneurial competence on business growth, but did not mediate the influence of digital technology use. These findings confirm that business adaptability is a key capability in converting internal resources into sustainable business growth. Meanwhile, digital technology only provides optimal impact when strategically integrated and accompanied by the adaptive capabilities of business actors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Entrepreneurship Education, Family Support, and Campus Environment on Entrepreneurial Interest with Self-Efficacy as an intervening variable. The phenomenon of low entrepreneurial interest among college graduates despite various strengthening programs has been implemented is the main background of this study. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through an online questionnaire from 125 students who have taken entrepreneurship courses. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique using SmartPLS software. The results showed that Entrepreneurship Education and Family Support have a positive and significant effect on Self-Efficacy. However, it was found that the Campus Environment has no significant effect on students' Self-Efficacy or Entrepreneurial Interest. Self-Efficacy proved to be a strong predictor of Entrepreneurial Interest and plays a significant mediator in bridging the influence of education on interest. This finding confirms that strengthening psychological aspects through self-confidence is far more effective than simply providing physical facilities on campus. This study recommends the need for synchronization between the academic curriculum and family emotional support in order to crystallize students' entrepreneurial mentality.

Abstract

The hospitality industry demands high-performance employees amidst operational dynamics and continuous service pressures. This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance, internal communication, and empowerment on employee performance, with employee engagement as an intervening variable, in a star-rated hotel in Pangkalpinang. A quantitative approach was used using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. Data were collected from 120 star-rated hotel employees selected through purposive sampling with a minimum tenure of one year. The results show that internal communication and empowerment have a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, while work-life balance has no significant effect on employee engagement. However, work-life balance has a significant direct effect on employee performance. In addition, employee engagement mediates the effect of internal communication and empowerment on employee performance, but does not mediate the effect of work-life balance. These findings confirm that in the hospitality context, relational and psychological factors of the organization are more effective in improving performance than work-life balance alone.

Abstract

The dynamics of the modern job market require college graduates to not only excel academically but also possess adequate professional preparedness. This study aims to analyze the influence of career motivation, internship experience, and soft skills on the work interest of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Pertiba University, with perceived work readiness as a mediating variable and Grade Point Average (GPA) as a control variable. This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to final-year students who had participated in the internship program. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results showed that internship experience and soft skills had a positive and significant effect on perceived work readiness, while career motivation had no significant effect. Perceived work readiness was shown to partially mediate the relationship between internship experience and soft skills on work interest. Meanwhile, GPA did not show a significant effect on work interest. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening practical experience and developing interpersonal competencies in higher education.

Abstract

Abstract

E-commerce has revolutionized the way consumers shop, especially in urban areas, transforming purchasing behaviors for essential commodities like beef. This study examines the impact of sales promotion, content marke- ting, and shopping lifestyle on impulse buying decisions for beef products among urban consumers in East Kali- mantan, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach with a causal-comparative design, data were collected from 300 respondents through online surveys and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicate that content marketing has the most substantial influence on impulse buying decisions, as engaging and emoti- onally resonant content fosters consumer interest and drives unplanned purchases. Sales promotion, including discounts, coupons, and time-limited offers, is the second most influential factor, creating urgency and increasing perceived value. A shopping lifestyle, characterized by preferences for convenience and efficiency, also significantly affects impulse buying, though its impact is comparatively weaker. These findings underscore the importance of integrating compelling content with strategic promotional efforts to optimize consumer engagement and stimulate impulsive purchasing behavior. This research provides valuable insights for e-commerce businesses to enhance their marketing strategies and adapt to the evolving preferences of urban consumers in emerging markets like In- donesia, contributing to improved competitiveness in the digital economy.

Abstract

This study aims to map the development of academic literature on Islamic Financial Inclusion (IFI) from 2020 to 2025 using a bibliometric approach. In the growing need for an inclusive and Shariah-compliant financial system, this study highlights publication trends, author collaboration, contributing institutions, and dominant keywords in the IFI theme. We analyzed the top 15 most-cited articles using VOSviewer software to identify thematic relationships and knowledge networks. The analysis showed that topics such as digital financial inclusion, Islamic microfinance, banking stability, and financial well-being are the primary focus of IFI studies. In addition, there is a dominance of contributions from authors from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The study also found a gap in integrating digital literacy, financial inclusion, and Sharia principles, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. This research contributes significantly to the intellectual map of IFIs. It serves as a reference for policymakers, academics, and Islamic finance practitioners to develop a more adaptive, equitable, and sustainable financial inclusion strategy under Islamic values.
