Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to examine how the financial performance of agricultural sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2020 and 2024 is impacted by liquidity, leverage, and profitability. Return on Equity (ROE) is the dependent variable used to measure financial performance, while Current Ratio (CR), Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), and Return on Assets (ROA) are the independent variables used to measure liquidity, leverage, and profitability. Using secondary data from 24 businesses over a five-year period of observation, panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach is the analysis technique employed. The findings demonstrated that ROA has a positive and significant impact on ROE, whereas DER has a negative and significant impact. In the meantime, ROE is not significantly impacted by CR. With an R-squared value of 0.6922, which indicates that 69.22 percent of ROE variation can be explained by CR and DER, the three independent variables simultaneously have a significant impact on financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilisation, marketing creativity, and response speed on the marketing performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bangka Belitung Province, with customer experience positioned as a mediating variable. Employing a quantitative research design, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to MSMEs actively engaged in digital marketing practices. The data were analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to test the proposed relationships. The findings indicate that marketing creativity and response speed have a significant positive effect on customer experience, whereas AI utilisation does not show a significant effect on customer experience. Furthermore, customer experience significantly influences marketing performance and serves as a mediating variable in the relationship between marketing creativity, response speed, and marketing performance. Specifically, marketing creativity and response speed contribute both directly and indirectly to improved marketing performance through enhanced customer experience. These results provide important theoretical contributions to digital marketing and customer experience literature, while offering practical implications for MSME managers and educational institutions in designing technology-oriented marketing strategies and entrepreneurship learning that prioritise creativity, responsiveness, and customer-centred approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the work environment and human capital on employee performance. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through structured questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, involving 47 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine both simultaneous and partial effects of the independent variables on employee performance. The results indicate that the work environment and human capital simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Partially, both the work environment and human capital individually show a significant positive effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination reveals that 75.6% of the variation in employee performance is explained by the work environment and human capital, while the remaining 24.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The findings imply that organizations should prioritize creating a supportive work environment and strengthening human capital development to enhance employee performance. Strategic policies related to workplace conditions and employee competencies are essential to achieve optimal organizational outcomes.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve product packaging quality and enhance understanding of food safety among MSME actors and vocational high school students in Tukak Village, South Bangka Regency. The main problems faced by local MSMEs include the use of simple packaging that does not meet food safety standards and the limited understanding of hygienic production practices. The activity was carried out through lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice involving 50 participants. The pre-test and post-test evaluations showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge, rising from an average of 45% to 85%. In addition, technical skills such as selecting food-grade packaging materials, sealing techniques, sanitation and hygiene practices, and designing product labels also improved substantially. The attendance rate, participation, and enthusiasm of the participants demonstrated that the training methods implemented were effective and relevant to the needs of the MSMEs. This program contributed significantly to enhancing the competitiveness of local businesses while preparing vocational students as competent young entrepreneurs. The recommendations include the need for ongoing mentoring, improved access to quality packaging materials, and advanced training related to food product licensing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of internship programs, soft skills, and work motivation on students' work readiness, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable. The study was conducted on Pertiba University students using a quantitative approach using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. Data were collected through questionnaires with 178 students as respondents. The results showed that soft skills and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on students' work readiness. Conversely, internship programs did not show a significant effect on work readiness, either directly or indirectly. In addition, self-efficacy was shown to significantly mediate the relationship between soft skills and work readiness, but did not mediate the relationship between internship programs and work motivation on students' work readiness. These findings confirm that students' work readiness is more determined by internal factors, particularly interpersonal skills and self-confidence, than by internship experience alone. Therefore, universities are advised to place more emphasis on the development of students' soft skills and self-efficacy through collaborative learning, self-development activities, and meaningful practical experiences to improve students' readiness to face the increasingly competitive world of work.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of signal quality, package price, and ease of administrative procedures on customer satisfaction among Telkomsel prepaid card users, with customer trust as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was used through an online survey involving 209 active Telkomsel customers who had experience using data packages, assessing network quality, and carrying out administrative processes such as SIM card replacement. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate the measurement and structural models. The results show that signal quality has the strongest influence on customer trust and also has a significant direct impact on customer satisfaction. Package price has a positive effect on customer trust and satisfaction, although its contribution is lower than that of signal quality. Ease of card replacement is proven to have a significant effect on customer trust, but does not have a direct effect on customer satisfaction. Customer trust is proven to play an important role as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between the three independent variables and customer satisfaction. These findings emphasize the importance of reliable network quality, fair pricing structures, and efficient administrative services in increasing customer trust and satisfaction in the competitive telecommunications industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, promotion, and digital marketing on purchasing decisions with consumer satisfaction as a mediating variable among TikTok Shop users among Generation Z. This study uses a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis techniques. The results show that product quality and promotion do not have a direct and significant effect on purchasing decisions, but both have a significant indirect effect through consumer satisfaction. Meanwhile, digital marketing has a direct and indirect effect on purchasing decisions. Consumer satisfaction is proven to play a significant role in bridging the relationship between independent variables and purchasing decisions. These findings emphasize the importance of digital marketing strategies that focus not only on product presentation or promotion, but also on improving consumer experience and satisfaction to encourage purchase conversions, especially in the Generation Z segment that is highly responsive to digital experiences. This study provides practical implications for business actors to prioritize building consumer satisfaction in improving purchasing decisions through optimizing product quality, promotional strategies, and utilizing targeted digital marketing.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of service quality, marketing strategy, and distribution efficiency on sales performance with consumer trust as a mediating variable in the beef sales business of MSMEs in Toboali Market. The study used a quantitative approach involving 160 respondents and was analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that service quality and distribution efficiency had a positive and significant effect on sales performance, both directly and through consumer trust. Conversely, marketing strategy did not have a significant effect on consumer trust or sales performance. These findings indicate that in the context of traditional markets and fresh food products, consumers prioritize service quality, product consistency, and smooth distribution over conventional marketing activities. This study confirms the role of consumer trust as an important mediator linking operational practices with sales performance and provides managerial implications for the development of fresh food MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational behavior, inclusive work environment, and career development on the performance of Gen Z employees in Indonesia, with work engagement as an intervening variable. Given Gen Z's dominance in the modern workforce, understanding the factors that drive their productivity is crucial. The research method used was a quantitative explanatory method with a survey technique through a questionnaire to 111 Gen Z employee respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the structural relationships between variables as well as the moderating and mediating effects. The results show that an inclusive work environment is the most significant driver of work engagement, which then has a positive impact on improving employee performance. Career development has a positive effect, but on a smaller scale. In contrast, organizational behavior does not show a significant influence on work engagement or performance in the context of this study's respondents. These findings confirm that work engagement is a key variable that transforms organizational resources into tangible performance. Therefore, organizations are advised to prioritize the creation of an inclusive work climate to optimize the potential of young employees.
