Abstract

This research aims to describe students' interests and learning outcomes after using the Edmodo application. This type of research is descriptive by categorizing and using a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were class VIIB students at SMP Negeri 2 Tegalsari. To see students' interest after studying using Edmodo through data obtained from learning interest questionnaires and interviews given to students. Meanwhile, it is obtained from the quiz/test scores to see student learning outcomes. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the use of the Edmodo application in mathematics learning went according to expectations seen from student participation from the beginning of the learning activity to the end and was following the RPP, so it could be said to be quite successful. The students' learning interest results are categorized as good because they meet the three predetermined indicators: feelings of joy, attention, interest, and involvement. Student learning outcomes are also classified as having a reasonably good score so that it can be said that students can understand the learning material and solve problems well.

Abstract

21st century education requires the integration of six competencies (6C) into the classroom. Because it is important to equip students with better skills. This survey examines the problems faced by mathematics teachers in integrating 21st century pedagogic 6Cs into integrated mathematics skills, and solutions to overcome these problems. This qualitative study collected data through questionnaires from 15 mathematics teachers spread across eight different schools. As a result, low student motivation, difficulties in integrating several skills, difficulties in time management, lack of understanding of student concepts, and difficulties in making lesson plans, as well as limited teaching materials. To overcome this problem, we integrate ideas based on providing videos (it's much better if you use/design videos yourself to suit the characteristics and interests of students), group work, providing private discussion rooms by watshapp, providing short material summaries with narration so that language is easy for students to understand, use timers to manage time, and ask for references and exchanges. Make lesson plans with other teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze students' mathematics problem-solving abilities based on Polya's procedure. This may improve the math problem-solving abilities of Class VIII SMP YALC Pasuruan students. Research data were obtained from the analysis of student answer sheets, observation sheets, and student activity sheets based on indicators of problem-solving ability. This type of study has a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test design. A t-test was performed to check for improvements in each aspect of student problem-solving skills and all aspects of math problem-solving skills. The main finding of this study is that students' problem-solving ability in mathematics based on Polya's procedure outperforms students' problem-solving ability with regular learning

Abstract

The standards of education in the 21st century can think creatively. The ability to think creatively is an important aspect that must be developed and trained through problem-solving, one of which is open-ended. This study aimed to analyze students' creative thinking skills in solving open-ended problems in terms of their cognitive style. This descriptive qualitative study was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 1, Sumberpucung. The instruments used in this study were the GEFT to classify students with FI and FD cognitive styles, an essay test to measure students' mathematical creative thinking abilities, and an interview guide. The subjects of this study were students with FI and FD cognitive styles. Based on the GEFT test, it was found that out of 28 grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Sumberpucung, 39.28% had the FI cognitive style, and 60.71% had the FD cognitive style. Four subjects with different cognitive styles were selected for interviews, and the results obtained were I1, I2, D1, and D2 at level 3 of the ability to think creatively, namely, creative. The four subjects met the indicators of fluency and flexibility but still lacked the originality indicator.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a valid and practically differentiated LKPD that can be used by secondary school students when learning statistics in a data-focused format. This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) method. The tools of this research into LKPD are differentiated based on statistical materials, validation models and practical tests of LKPD by teachers and     students. The research process begins with initial analysis through expert validation, review, practical testing, and small and large-scale trials. The results of the development of differentiated E-LKPD to support students' mathematical competencies by subject experts are worth testing with revisions based on reviewer suggestions. The results showed 78% for validation of the material, 89% for verification by media experts, 83.3% for practical application by teachers and 86% for field test results by students. The carried out development of educational materials in the differentiated format of E-LKPD conforms to the correct standards and is also practical for use by high school students in statistical material.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) pada topik sifat cahaya dapat meningkatkan motivasi serta pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas 5 SDN 4 Mendenrejo dengan menerapkan model Discovery Learning yang dipadukan dengan teknologi digital, seperti video pembelajaran, Chromebook, dan aplikasi Wordwall. Model ini mendorong siswa untuk secara mandiri menemukan konsep melalui eksplorasi dan interaksi aktif. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara, video pembelajaran mempermudah siswa memahami konsep abstrak seperti sifat cahaya. Chromebook mendukung eksplorasi mandiri, meningkatkan kemandirian, serta menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab. Sementara itu, kuis interaktif Wordwall membantu memperkuat pemahaman konsep sekaligus meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Integrasi teknologi digital dalam model Discovery Learning terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi aktif, dan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan ini dapat menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam di sekolah dasar terus mengalami perkembangan. Hal ini dikarenakan materi IPA yang sangat berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu kemampuan IPA dipercaya dapat menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir peserta didik tentang perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan di sekitar. Pada kurikulum merdeka pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam dipadukan dengan ilmu pengetahuan sosial yang disingkat menjadi IPAS. Kedekatan kedua ilmu tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dapat dimaksimalkan dalam penggunaan pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual dimana peserta didik bisa mengalami pembelajaran secara langsung. Salah satu penunjang pembelajaran kontekstual dalam pembelajaran IPAS adalah praktikum dengan penggunaan media yang bisa dibuat langsung oleh peserta didk. Penelitian ini ingin menganalisis pemahaman peserta didik dalam memahami materi perubahan energi angin menjadi energi menggunakan media kertas spiral bergerak. Pembelajara dilakukan secara berkelompok dimana masing-masing kelompok beranggotakan tiga peserta didik. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran ini yaitu dengan pembuatan kertas spiral secara mandiri oleh peserta didik dan membakar ujung kertas tersebut dengan lilin. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kegiatan praktik langsung pembuatan kertas spiral bergerak berhasil membuat peserta didik paham tentang materi perubahan energi angin menjadi gerak. Kesimpulan ini didapatkan dari hasil observasi dimana peserta didik terlihat dengan jelas aktif dalam pembelajaran serta mampu mengikuti alur praktikum dengan baik sesuai LKPD. Selain itu dari hasil wawancara dan penilaian dokumen LKPD yang dikumpulkan peserta didik, terlihat bahwa peserta didik mampu menjelaskan dan menguraikann tujuan pembelajaran dengan hasil baik.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy constitutes one of the core domains evaluated in an assessment administered by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, referred to as AKMI. This assessment functions as a comprehensive diagnostic tool to identify students’ proficiencies and deficiencies across three key literacy areas: reading, numeracy, and science. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with fifth-grade students as the subjects. The research instruments included a mathematics ability test, a literacy and numeracy assessment, and semi-structured interview guidelines. The students’ problem-solving processes were analyzed through four stages: understanding the problem, devising a plan, executing the plan, and evaluating the solution. Findings revealed that students with low mathematical ability frequently encountered difficulties in the planning, execution, and evaluation stages, which collectively accounted for 29.4% of the total errors. A smaller proportion (5.88%) struggled with understanding the problem, while another 5.88% did not exhibit notable errors. Students with moderate ability demonstrated errors in the planning, execution, and evaluation phases, each contributing 25% to the overall errors; however, they showed no difficulty in identifying knowns and unknowns in the problems. High-ability students generally solved the problems without major issues, with 62.5% of their responses being accurate and error-free. Geometry-related problems posed the greatest challenge across all ability levels, resulting in a higher incidence of errors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Prezi dengan metode tutor sebaya pada materi persamaan kuadrat untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Lolak di kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket validasi ahli media dan materi, serta tes hasil belajar siswa. Data hasil validasi dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif, sedangkan data hasil belajar dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test untuk mengetahui perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran Prezi dengan metode tutor sebaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Prezi yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis menurut ahli media dan materi. Implementasi media pembelajaran menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran Prezi dengan metode tutor sebaya. Peningkatan ini mengindikasikan bahwa media pembelajaran Prezi dengan metode tutor sebaya efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi persamaan kuadrat.
