Abstract

The changing times and technological developments are so fast that they change from all walks of life. These changes and terms are the industrial revolution 4.0 that we are often hearing about. This era of access to information and everything is very easy to obtain. For that we need personalities and characters who are able to be adaptive and able to survive the changing times. This industrial revolution also changes the economic, social and political patterns in our environment. No exception is also changing our education patterns. There is an e-learning pattern that forces our students to participate immediately and be adaptive to it. But there is an irony in addition to the development of this era is that not all students are able and can immediately adapt to this internet pattern. Most even abuse the freedom of access and then access the internet at this time. In fact, it becomes a weakness for us in the future, they are complacent and even cool in cyberspace and unable to socialize well in the real world. For this reason, student character education is needed, namely by learning social science. No less important is the synergy between parents, schools, teachers and the community to make the nation's successor students able to face and compete in the industrial era 4.0

Abstract

Nilai budaya merupakan nilai yang ada dan berkembang di dalam masyarakat. Karena nilai budaya adalah tingkat pertama kebudayaan ideal atau adat. Nilai budaya merupakan lapisan yang paling tidak terwujud dan ruangnya luas. Sebagai upaya dalam mengembangkan nilai budaya, dalam penelitian kali ini akan digunakan salah satu layanan bimbingan dan konseling yaitu layanan bimbingan kelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model bimbingan kelompok yang efektif untuk mengembangkan pemahaman nilai budaya siswa. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimen kuasi two-group pretest-posttest terhadap siswa dengan mengambil populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa dalam satu sekolah yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen empati. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Independent Sample T-Test dengan analisis data nilai budaya siswa sebelum dan setelah bimbingan kelompok model.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the hoax behavior tendencies among Indonesian students during the pandemic, viewed from the aspects of analytical thinking, basic science knowledge, trust in news sources, satisfaction, and action. A total of 633 male and female students from Indonesian universities were sampled used a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through the hoax tendency behavior scale (HTBS) on 30 questions using a Likert scale. Then, the data were analyzed descriptively to evaluate the hoax behavior tendencies in adolescents during the pandemic, which the results revealed to be in the medium category. Therefore, the analytical thinking skills of adolescents need to be improved, as 31.75% and 2.53% were in the low and very low categories. The study showed that adolescents with an average age of 20 years spreading hoaxes were motivated by basic knowledge of science, trust in news sources, satisfaction, and action. However, there was no significant influence of gender, parental income, and areas of residence, such as rural, urban, and suburban, on those that exhibit hoax behaviors.

Abstract

Violence that occurs in adolescents is a form of behavior that is often encountered and the trend continues to increase. One of the violence that occurs in the school environment is bullying. Bullying is violent behavior that is perpetrated by someone against a group of weak people repeatedly by taking advantage of an imbalance of power, which is done physically, verbally or psychologically. Guidance and counseling teachers have a role in providing assistance to students so they can know and accept themselves and can know and accept their environment positively and dynamically. And being able to make decisions. Directing and realizing oneself effectively and productively for the future. In cases of violence that occur, especially bullying, of course this is an urgency for the counseling teacher to be able to reduce this behavior, one of which is with the psychoeducation group. This paper will provide stages in the implementation of psychoeducation because this paper is a literature review that comes from several references.

Abstract

The development of the era of globalization has had an impact on social and cultural changes in society. One of the changes that have an impact on society is career development. The development of the times has had an impact on career choices from simple to more complex. Responding to this development, students need to carry out career adaptability so that they are ready to enter the world of work. This career adaptability includes four aspects, namely Career Concert, Career Control, Career Curiosity, and Career Confidence. The purpose of this study was to see the Level of Career Adaptability in final semester Guidance and Counseling Study Program students. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, namely final year students totaling 83 people. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with technical analysis of percentage data. The results of the study prove that the career adaptability level of final-year students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program is in a moderate position with a percentage of 90.4% and 9.6% at a low level. In general, the level of Career Adaptability for Guidance and Counseling students includes aspects of Career Concert, Career Control, Career Curiosity, Career Confidence, but there are still behaviors that do not fully reflect the four dimensions of Career Adaptability.

Abstract

Cooperative learning model that makes students work in groups can solve a problem, one of which is Think Pair Share (TPS). The purpose of using this cooperative learning model was that it enabled students to discuss, assess each other's latest knowledge, and help each other in solving mathematical problems. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the learning model applied in the experimental class on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The type of this research was experimental with Quasi Experimental Design. The population of this study were all fifth grade students of SD Kartika I-10 Padang. The technique used for sampling is Saturated Sampling. The sample in this study was class VB students of SD Kartika I-10 Padang as the experimental class and class VA students of SD Kartika I-10 Padang as the control class. The instrument was a problem-solving ability test. The collected data were analyzed by using t test. The results of data analysis obtained tcount=0.87 and ttable=1.681 with db=43(n1+n2 -2=23+22–2=4) and a significant level of 5%. Based on the test, tcount < ttable (0.87<1.68), so H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected with the conclusion that "TPS Type Cooperative Learning Model Did Not Have a Significant Influence on Mathematical Problem Solving Ability at Grade V SD Kartika I-10 Padang in the academic year 2019/2020”.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students who bully at school as a result of excessive self-disclosure on social media. This study aims to: (1) describe self-disclosure on social media, (2) describe student bullying, and (3) examine the relationship of self-disclosure with high school students using social media. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational type. The population of the study was students of SMA Negeri 1 Luhak Nan Duo using proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through self-disclosure questionnaires and student bullying. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with percentage techniques, and for normality test, linearity test and the relationship between the two variables used statistical analysis with the Pearson Product Moment technique with the help of SPSS version 20.0 for windows. Based on the research, it was found: (1) students 'self-disclosure was in the high category, (2) students' bullying was in the medium category and (3) there was a relationship between self-disclosure and bullying of high school students using social media. The implication in guidance and counseling services is that guidance and counseling teachers provide services to students related to bullying and self-disclosure problems on social media.

Abstract

Low interest and ability to read is a serious problem in the field of education continue to work on how to overcome it. One of the media that can be used to improve students' reading skills is Big Book media which can be created according to the teacher's creativity. This research aims to provide information to teachers, principals, and parents regarding the use of Big Book media to improve elementary school students' reading skills. The method used in this research is literature study or library research. The researcher traces the data, then reads and records the results needed to obtain the information. The data collected was analyzed using the content analysis method. The results of the analysis of 15 articles concluded that the use of Big Book media improved students' reading skills. This is based on an increase in reading scores from before using Big Book media to after using Big Book media in learning and the SPSS test was carried out to see the effect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari maraknya aplikasi berbasis android sebagai media pembelajaran semenjak fenomena Covid-19 yang mengharuskan pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring atau dalam jaringan. Aplikasi berbasis android ini banyak ragamnya dan bisa diterapkan hampir di semua mata pelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi berbasis android dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan studi literatur, pertama-tama peneliti merumuskan masalah, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan menelusuri penelitian yang sudah ada dan relevan untuk dianalisis. Dari hasil penelitian artikel-artikel yang relevan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh positif penggunaan aplikasi berbasis android terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini tampak pada tingginya rata-rata hasil belajar posttest kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan media aplikasi berbasis android di dalam pembelajaran. Pada uji statistik juga terbukti bahwa hipotesis nol ditolak dan hipotesis kerja diterima, yang menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi berbasis android terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa banyak pengguna smartphone yang bermasalah dapat memicu perilaku phubbing yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengendalian diri sehingga dapat meningkatkan perilaku phubbing. Ponsel merupakan salah satu bentuk teknologi yang menjadi kebutuhan umum bagi semua individu di semua kelompok umur. Phubbing adalah akronim dari phone snubbing, yang didefinisikan sebagai perilaku mengabaikan orang lain selama interaksi sosial dan malah berfokus pada telepon.
