Abstract

Students' metacognitive skills can be developed through implementing learning designs that are consistent with students' learning needs and progress. The WE-ARe (Warm-up, Exploring, Argumentation, Resume) model is a learning model that can be used to accommodate students' increased metacognitive skills. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the WE-ARe model on the metacognitive skills of biology students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone. This research uses a quasi-experimental research design, pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample was students from the Biology Education Study Program Semester III (three) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone, totaling 41 people in two classes. The research instrument uses essay questions and questionnaires. The data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The research results show that the Fcount value is 2470.273 with a significance value of 0.000. The significance value is smaller than the alpha real level of 5% (0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a difference in metacognitive skills between the experimental group and the conventional group. The research conclusion is that there is an influence of the WE-ARe model on the metacognitive skills of biology students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone.

Abstract

 Paya Guci is a village located in Tangse District, Pidie District, Aceh Province. 75% of the population's livelihood as farmers. Tangse became the center for Liberika coffee (kupi panah) in Aceh. Liberika coffee the early 19th century was brought to Tangse by the Dutch. One of the factors to support crop productivity is through fertilization, but the Gampong Paya coffee farmers have relatively never fertilized their coffee plants. Therefore, we need "Training of Fertilizer Application Methods for People's Panah Coffee Plants in Gampong Paya Guci, Tangse District, Pidie Regency". The aim is to transfer knowledge and skills on how to fertilize coffee properly. The method used in this service is counseling and training. The activity was carried out in two stages. The result of the service activity was that the extension activity was attended by 61 participants (members of farmer groups and community leaders). The community advocacy team assists and teaches community leaders and farmer group leaders in carrying out fertilization practices directly on farmers' kupi panah plants. Community leaders and farmer groups asked the Unimal service team: (1) the Unimal service team became the coach and companion of farmer groups in Paya Guci on an ongoing basis, (2) the Unimal service team in the future checked the soil pH of the Paya farmer's farmland jars so liming and fertilizing can be carried out according to soil conditions, (3) the Unimal service team is then willing to become a companion for the formation of farmer group cooperatives. Simultaneously with this dedication activity, there was also a signing Memorandum off Understanding (MOU) document between Unimal and Gampong Paya Guci

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kemampuan koneksi matemtais siswadengan menggunakan model PBL dan pendekatan saintifik Adapun pendekatan penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Sedangkan jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen dengan non equivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel terarah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Matangkuli. Sample dalam penelitian adalah VII-4 kelas eksperimen dan VII-5 kelas Kontrol. Teknik analisis data diperoleh dengan tes kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. pengujian data menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Berdasarkan hasil uji U nonparametrik Mann-Whitney diperoleh signifikansi 0,0045 = 0,05. Ini berarti H0 akan ditolak, sehingga: Disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan keterampilan koneksi matematis siswa dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih unggul daripada peningkatan keterampilan koneksi matematis siswa yang mengandalkan pendekatan saintifik tentang materi sistem linier kelas VIII pada SMP Negeri 1 Matangkuli.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the mathematical thinking ability between students who are taught with a Realistic Mathematics Education approach and students who are taught with a scientific approach. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type and non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Nisam with a sample of two classes, the experimental class which was taught with a Realistic Mathematics Education approach and the control class which was taught with a scientific approach. This sample selection used purposive sampling technique and the instrument used was a test of students' mathematical critical thinking skills. Data analysis used the t-test after the normality test and homogeneity test. The result showed that the significance value of 0.000 was smaller than 0.05, so H0 was rejected, meaning that the mathematical critical thinking skills of students who received Realistic Mathematics Education learning were better than students who received scientific approaches.

Abstract

Pada era revolusi industri 4.0 Indonesia mengalami peningkatan teknologi dan keterampilan sumber daya manusia melalui pendidikan dengan melahirkan analis muda untuk kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Sumber daya manusia saat ini selalu dituntut untuk menggunakan media digital, kebutuhan media digital sudah menjadi kebutuhan utama. Pada saat ini pembelajaran matematika sudah menggunakan model media digital. Namun, sering kali matematika dianggap pelajaran yang membosankan sehingga siswa sukar dalam memahami materi yang dijelaskan oleh guru. Kesulitan yang dialami siswa tersebut dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis digital yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan Flipbook Maker Pro. Sehingga solusi yang ditawarkan berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan Literasi Digital Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Matematika Berbantuan Media Space Geometri Flipbook melalui Kegiatan Lesson Study. Metode yang digunakan dengan Langkah: Tim pelaksana mempresentasikan, survey baseline, pendampingan lanjutan, menentukan research lesson, Plan, Do, See: Redesain, Mengumpulkan bukti-bukti dan dokumentasi, Pendampingan dan monitoring selama kegiatan berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan PKM bahwasanya dengan melaksanakan pelatihan, pendampingan dan penerapan pada saat pembelajaran menggunakan media Space Geometri Flipbook melalui Kegiatan Lesson Study maka kemampuan kompetensi guru mengalami peningkatan dan kemampuan literasi digital siswa semakin menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan profitabilitas (diproksi dengan return on equity) dalam memediasi pengaruh struktur modal (diproksikan dengan debt to equity ratio), pertumbuhan perusahaan (diproksi dengan pertumbuhan penjualan), dan ukuran perusahaan (diproksi dengan logaritma natural total asset) terhadap nilai perusahaan. Populasi penelitian adalah sektor infrastruktur, utilitas, dan transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2013-2015. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisa jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Struktur modal dan pertumbuhan perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap profitabiitas dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Struktur modal dan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Pertumbuhan perusahaan dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Profitabilitas tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh struktur modal, pertumbuhan perusahaan dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

The new method, known as nanostructured lipid carrier (NLC) in drug delivery systems, has the potential to increase therapeutic efficacy, stability, and bioavailability. This systematic literature review aimed to provide a detailed summary of NLC technology in drug delivery systems, including routes of administration, preparation methods, characterization, and utilization for the delivery of anti-aging active ingredients in cosmetics. To collect scholarly articles on NLCs, we employed a systematic search method using Google Scholar and PubMed. After the screening process, 53 pertinent papers out of 102 articles were chosen for descriptive analysis. NLC exhibit significant promise in many drug delivery applications, including oral, topical, parenteral, and transmucosal routes, with many benefits, including improved bioavailability, stability, and drug penetration through the skin, cornea, and brain. Moreover, NLC technology has been effectively applied for the administration of drugs, including anti-aging drugs. Topical anti-aging preparations generally use synthetic or natural active ingredients. However, synthetic ingredients are often less stable and can irritate skin. NLC can protect and control the release of active ingredients, thereby reducing the risk of irritation. NLC can also improve the penetration of active ingredients into the deeper layers of the skin, allowing it to reach the dermis layer, which is responsible for most skin aging. The efficient absorption capacity of NLC technology in topical preparations presents new opportunities for anti-aging cosmetic product development owing to its effectiveness in skin penetration. Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Muslim women’s dakwah outside the home in the context of the al-Ḍarar al-Asyaddu Yuzālu bi al-Ḍarar al-Akhaf rule, with a particular focus on the activities of Muslim women engaged in dakwah outside the home. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, eschewing statistical analysis, and focuses on case studies derived from field research. The study employs a normative and phenomenological methodology, with a qualitative descriptive analysis. The findings revealed that the Muslimah Wahdah Islamiyah Tanralili Branch exerted a significant impact on the dissemination of da’wah in Tanralili District. Through the active organisation of religious activities in Tanralili, the Branch facilitated a gradual understanding of Islamic law among the community, enabling its practical application in their lives. With regard to the activities of Muslim women in the field of da’wah, if we consider them in the context of the rule al-Ḍarar al-Asyaddu Yuzālu bi al-Ḍarar al-Akhaf, we find that the situation of Muslim women engaged in da'wah today is one that entails certain risks. These dangers are lessened when compared to the dangers of Muslim women not preaching in the community, namely the spread of shirk and the distance of the community from Islamic law. The findings of this research imply that women are permitted to leave the house for reasons outside the home, such as preaching, but they must still adhere to the principles of modesty and decorum that are expected of them as Muslim women. They must also fulfil their domestic responsibilities before leaving the house.

Abstract

One's Computer shop is a shop that sells various kinds of laptops and other laptop equipment. This study aims to determine the effect of marketing mix on laptop purchasing decisions at One's Computer stores in Krueng Geukuh, North Aceh Regency. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods and obtained 97 respondents as a research sample obtained from the Lemesshaw formula. The data analysis method used in this study is simple regression analysis, instrument test, classical assumption test and hypothesis testing and the coefficient of determination with the help of the SPSS 20.0 program. The results of data processing that has been done previously show that the Ha hypothesis is accepted. Through the t-test with a 5% error rate (a=0.05), the value of Thitung is 19.079 and the value of Ttabel is 1.986 so that (19.079> 1.986) or a sig of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the Marketing Mix variable (X) has a positive and significant effect on the Purchasing Decision variable (Y) at the One's Computer Store in Krueng Geukuh, North Aceh Regency. Based on the research that has been done, it means that consumers think that the One's Computer store implements the marketing mix well so that it can improve purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Di era sekarang ini, Pembelajaran bahasa asing menjadi materi yang sangat penting di sekolah. Hal ini terlihat pada negara kita sendiri, yang mana kurikulum pembelajaran bahasa asing telah di implementasikan pada hampir semua tingkat pendidikan. Tujuan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Asing kepada anak-anak di Desa Kabita adalah karena Kabupaten Wakatobi merupakan sebuah daerah dengan sektor pariwisata yang luas menjadikan Wakatobi salah satu destinasi wisata yang kunjungi oleh turis sehingga pemahaman Bahasa Asing menjadi sangat penting dalam mengenalkan kebudayan dan kearifan lokal yang dimiliki oleh Kabupaten Wakatobi khususnya Desa Kabita. Metode yang digunakan dalam pendampingan ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode ABCD (Asset Based Community Develpment) dimana kami mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh Desa Kabita dalam hal ini meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang ada di Desa Kabita. Pendampingan pembelajaran Bahasa Asing memiliki hasil yang signifikan dengan anak-anak Desa Kabita yang sudah mulai mengenal Bahasa Asing seperti Bahasa Arab dan Inggris dalam berhitung, bernyanyi, serta pengenalan kosa kata yang banyak.  Berdasarkan pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa dalam memberikan pembelajaran Bahasa Asing, kami memberikan tawaran kepada para pemerintah Kabupaten Wakatobi untuk memberikan ruang dan sarana dalam peningkatan Bahasa Asing bagi anak-anak Desa Kabita.Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan, Anak-anak, Pembelajaran Bahasa Asing
