Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dari media e-book berbasis multimedia interaktif dengan qr-code menurut validator ahli media dan ahli materi. 2) Untuk membuktikan bahwa media e-book dapat meningkatkan minat belajar pada peserta didik tingkat sekolah dasar. 3) Untuk membuktikan bahwa media e-book dapat mengingkatkan kamampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. E-book ini dirancang dengan memadukan elemen teks, gambar, video, dan animasi untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Uji kelayakan media video pembelajaran yang divalidasi oleh validator ahli media dan ahli materi masing masing ada 93% dan disimpulkan layak digunakan dalam penelitian. Uji dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dengan desain nonequivalent control group desain. Hasil asil evaluasi minat belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan e-book berbasis multimedia interaktif dengan qr-code dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik secara signifikan. Oleh karena itu, e-book ini dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The objectives of this research include: 1) To determine the influence of the teaching factory learning model on the communicative abilities of class Sampang, and 3) To determine the effect of the teaching factory learning model on the communicative and collaborative abilities of class XI students majoring in Mechanical Engineering at SMK Negeri 2 Sampang. This research is a quantitative experimental research where the researcher made all class XI TP students as research subjects, namely class XI TP-1 students as many as 32 male students as the control group and class. Researchers used communicative questionnaires and collaborative questionnaires. Based on the results of the analysis using the MANOVA analysis technique, it was concluded that: 1) There is an influence of the teaching factory learning model on the communicative abilities of class SMK Negeri 2 Sampang, and 3) There is an influence of the teaching factory learning model on the communicative and collaborative abilities of class XI students majoring in Mechanical Engineering at SMK Negeri 2 Sampang.

Abstract

Integrating services in an information system is necessary to provide services that can optimize an information system. One of the systems in PKKMB activities that will be combined with information security features is the attendance system. This research uses the Liner Sequential Model (LSM) method to integrate the QR Code attendance system with security features. This research aims to integrate QR Codes by optimizing increased security by combining the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm with base64 with a dynamic data model to complicate the QR Code manipulation process. Contribution This study makes optimization of the AES encryption model to improve data security on QR Code. Algorithm testing results include using a Character Error Rate (CER) of 0%, Avalanche Effect (AE) testing with a value of 53.05%, and response time (RT) testing of 10.26ms

Abstract

Assisted technology has become one of the primary needs for inclusive education, especially for language learning. Language learning mediated by technology can provide affordances to EFL learners with low English language skills. Therefore, an assisted technology with content-language integrated learning was developed with the ADDIE approach to producing meaningful and motivational language learning with a dual focus, namely content and language. The materials presented in the assisted technology were developed stick to the Line-of-Sight by the Branch model (2009), which covers needs, goals, strategies, and assessment. The technology and material development result were named assisted technology-enhanced language learning (ATELL) and created with a marker-based augmented reality application. The AR application is an assisted technology for reading comprehension skills that guide the students in critical thinking for critical reading activities. The findings of the study show that students who read with the AR application performed better than those who read with the traditional method. The students also reported that they have a positive perception of the integration of the AR application for language learning for several attributes such as technology interactivity, compatibility, learning ambience, and cognitive condition.

Abstract

This study explores young learners’ intelligibility of English vocabulary for young learners in the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) context using Digital Books vs Printed Books which focus on listening and pronunciation skills. The intelligibility was measured from listening tests. The research is an experimental study with a pretest–posttest control group design. Sixty-one out of 156 elementary level from grade 4th were taken randomly thirty students belonged to the control group while another thirty belonged to the experimental group. This study applied the Mann-Whitney Test. The result showed that young learners with digital books outperformed listening and pronunciation for young learners in the EFL context. In short, digital books with listening and pronunciation are very beneficial for young learners in acquiring EFL vocabulary.

Abstract

Background: Stroke-associated pneumonia (SAP) is a common and debilitating complication following stroke, typically occurring within the first 7 days of onset in about one-third of patients with acute ischemic stroke. SAP significantly contributes to increased morbidity, mortality, and healthcare costs due to prolonged hospitalizations. In Riau, the reported prevalence of stroke is 8.3%, which has been rising since 2013, alongside an increase in SAP cases. Dysphagia, defined as difficulty swallowing, is a major risk factor for SAP as it predisposes patients to aspiration, a leading cause of pneumonia. If left untreated, dysphagia can lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. Despite the clinical importance of SAP, local data regarding its incidence and associated risk factors at Arifin Achmad General Hospital in Riau Province is lacking. This study aims to investigate the incidence and risk factors associated with SAP in ischemic stroke patients with dysphagia. The findings are expected to provide evidence-based references to improve neurointensive care and preventive strategies for SAP in this patient population. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted at Arifin Achmad General Hospital, Riau Province, from August to November 2023. Ischemic stroke patients who underwent the Water Swallow Test (WST) were included. Dysphagia, electrolyte imbalance, and SAP were the key variables. Data were collected from medical records and observation sheets. Statistical analysis was performed using the Chi-square test (p < 0.05) with SPSS version 25. Results: The study found that 37.5% (15 patients) of ischemic stroke patients developed stroke-associated pneumonia, while 42.5% experienced dysphagia. The majority of these patients were aged 51-60 years (41.2%), male (58.8%), had their first stroke attack (60%), and had multiple risk factors (73.3%). A significant number of dysphagia patients had low electrolyte levels. The most common lesion locations in dysphagia patients were bilateral (66.7%). There was a significant correlation between dysphagia and the incidence of SAP (p=0.000). Patients with dysphagia had 78.75 times higher odds of developing SAP (95% CI: 9.95-622.6) compared to those without dysphagia. Conclusion: SAP is a frequent complication in ischemic stroke patients. Future prospective studies should adopt a unified definition, strict inclusion criteria, and long-term follow-up to better identify the incidence, prognosis, and related factors of SAP.

Abstract

Paradigma pendidikan telah berubah seiring kemajuan teknologi, menjadikan implementasi pembelajaran tidak terlepas dari perkembangan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap tantangan dan peluang dalam implementasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi melalui berbagai penelitian yang ada. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan data sekunder yang dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tantangan utama meliputi keterbatasan infrastruktur dan akses internet, dengan 65% responden menyatakan bahwa konektivitas internet yang tidak stabil menjadi hambatan terbesar. Selain itu, 72% guru membutuhkan pelatihan lebih lanjut untuk memanfaatkan teknologi secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran, serta masalah keamanan dan privasi data. Di sisi lain, peluang terbesar yang ditemukan adalah peningkatan akses ke sumber daya pendidikan yang luas, dengan 78% responden mengakui manfaat signifikan dari akses informasi global. Peluang lain meliputi aksesibilitas dan inklusivitas, personalisasi dan diferensiasi, pengembangan keterampilan abad 21, pengayaan pengetahuan dan pengalaman belajar, kolaborasi global, serta penggunaan alat analisis data. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat tantangan signifikan dalam implementasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, peluang yang ada dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Implementasi yang berhasil membutuhkan perhatian khusus terhadap infrastruktur, akses internet, keamanan data, serta pelatihan guru untuk memanfaatkan teknologi secara optimal.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) To find out what factors cause SMAN 2 Bae Kudus students to be late to school 2) To find out how the results of the application of behavioristic counseling with behavior contract techniques in overcoming behavior often late to school in SMAN 2 Bae Kudus students. The type of research used is a qualitative type of research with a case study approach. The subjects in this study are 2 students with the initials GR and NM from SMAN 2 Bae Kudus class XI F 11 which is a KKO class. The data collection techniques used are in the form of observation, interviews, documentation. To test the validity of the data using triangulation. The data analysis technique uses the data analysis of the miles and Huberman model. The results of this study show that there is a behavioral change in students from maladaptive behavior (late school attendance) to adaptive (coming to school on time) after the provision of behavioristic counseling services with behavior contract techniques. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of Behavioristic counseling with the behavior contract technique can overcome late school entry behavior in students of SMAN 2 Bae Kudus grade XI F 11.

Abstract

Cultivation of the seaweed Gracilaria verrucosa is necessary as a preventive measure against overexploitation. One applicable method is tissue culture, which requires special attention to nutrient needs to support accelerated growth. These nutrients can be provided through fertilization. One commonly used chemical fertilizer in seaweed tissue culture is Provasoli’s Enriched Seawater (PES). This study aims to determine the optimal PES fertilizer dosage for the production of G. verrucosa seedlings through tissue culture using a vegetative propagation method. This study used a completely randomized design with analysis of variance (ANOVA) consisting of four treatments of different PES fertilizer doses with three replicates for each treatment. The results showed that fertilizer dose variation did not significantly affect the absolute growth of explant weight, but tended to increase the number of growth points. Growth points began to increase in the second week for all treatments, and by the fourth week, the number of growth points at a 1.5% dosage showed a significant difference compared to other doses. The application of PES fertilizer in G. verrucosa seedling production through tissue culture with vegetative propagation indicates that different fertilizer doses do not affect explant growth but significantly influence the increase in growth points by the fourth week

Abstract

Perubahan desain dalam proyek konstruksi merupakan salah satu penyebab utama terganggunya efisiensi pelaksanaan proyek, khususnya dari aspek biaya dan waktu. Perubahan ini dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, seperti revisi kebutuhan pengguna, kendala teknis di lapangan, atau kebijakan pemilik proyek yang berubah selama proses pelaksanaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak perubahan desain terhadap pengendalian biaya dan waktu pelaksanaan proyek pembangunan Gudang Lawele, Kecamatan Winongan, Kabupaten Pasuruan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Earned Value Management (EVM), yaitu suatu pendekatan kuantitatif yang menggabungkan evaluasi terhadap kinerja biaya dan waktu secara terintegrasi. EVM menggunakan beberapa indikator utama, antara lain Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Variance (CV), dan Schedule Variance (SV). Data yang dianalisis berasal dari laporan mingguan pelaksanaan proyek selama enam minggu. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa waktu kinerja proyek mengalami keterlambatan dari minggu ke-2 hingga minggu ke-6, ditunjukkan dengan nilai SPI < 1. Hanya pada minggu pertama proyek sempat mengalami percepatan (SPI > 1). Sementara itu, dari segi biaya, proyek menunjukkan efisiensi karena nilai CPI selalu > 1 dan CV bernilai positif. Estimasi penyelesaian proyek menjadi 57 hari, lebih lama 1 hari dari rencana awal 56 hari. Estimasi biaya akhir proyek adalah sebesar Rp 730.429.965, lebih rendah dari anggaran awal sebesar Rp 803.415.000. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode EVM mampu memberikan gambaran kinerja proyek secara objektif dan menjadi alat pengambilan keputusan yang efektif dalam menangani dinamika proyek akibat perubahan desain.
