Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Iman kepada Hari Akhir melalui penerapan model pembelajaran sharing yang dikombinasikan dengan media audio-visual. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan observasi dan refleksi pada setiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, penggunaan metode Picture and Picture/Videos, tanya-jawab (brainstorming), dan diskusi masih kurang efisien, meskipun terdapat peningkatan partisipasi siswa. Pada siklus II, penerapan model sharing dengan media audio-visual terbukti efektif, ditandai dengan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa, partisipasi dalam diskusi, serta pencapaian ketuntasan klasikal hingga 100%. Pembelajaran ini tidak hanya meningkatkan penguasaan materi secara kognitif, tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna, mendukung pengembangan kemampuan mental, serta menumbuhkan suasana belajar yang menyentuh emosi dan kebersamaan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi metode kolaboratif dengan media audio-visual dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di kelas menengah

Abstract

A couple of childbearing age (PUS) is a married couple who still has the potential to have children or is usually marked by the time when menopause has not yet arrived (menstruation has stopped for the wife). Family planning is a method that helps individuals or married couples to regulate the interval between pregnancies and determine the number of children in the family. This research was conducted to obtain information regarding the reasons why couples of childbearing age do not participate in family planning programs. This research is descriptive in nature. The sample used was 212 EFA taken according to the specified criteria. Data collection was carried out by filling out a questionnaire, then the data was processed and analyzed using the frequency distribution formula. The research results showed that the highest reason for PUS not participating in the Family Planning program was wanting to have children immediately, 68 PUS (24.82%) while the lowest was not being suitable for using family planning, namely 3 PUS (1.1%). From the results of this research, it is recommended to increase education, especially about the types of contraceptives, side effects and complications.

Abstract

Preparedness according to Law Number 24 of 2007 Paragraph 7 is a series of activities carried out to anticipate disasters through appropriate and effective organization and action. Based on preliminary studies and initial interviews with employees at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (RDMA) Palu City, information was obtained that there were several problems in disaster preparedness, related to lack of attitude, emergency response plans, and resource mobilization. This research aims to determine the disaster preparedness of Palu City RDMA officers in the aspects of attitude, emergency response plans and resource mobilization. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The informants in this research were the Head of the Palu City RDMA as the key informant, the Palu City RDMA Secretary as the regular informant, and the Palu City RDMA staff as additional informants the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data in this research consists of primary data and secondary data. Data processing using matrix techniques where to ensure the validity of research results, technical triangulation was carried out as well as source triangulation. The results of research based on interviews supported by observation and documentation show that the attitudes, emergency response plans and resource mobilization of Palu City RDMA officers in disaster preparedness are good. So it can be concluded that disaster preparedness among Palu City RDMA officers is good. As a suggestion, it is hoped that the Palu City RDMA will increase awareness of disaster planning for officers.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan terkait dengan urgensi pandangan sosiokultural konstruktivis dalam pendidikan sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literature review dengan menggunakan bahan sekunder berupa jurnal dan buku yang berkaitan dengan topik kajian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, hakekat sosial dari mekanisme pembelajaran menekankan pada pengembangan belajar siswa melalui interaksi dengan orang yang dianggap lebih mampu. Kedua, konsep kerjasama dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan sebuah mekanisme belajar yang dianggap ideal dengan berfokus pada perkembangan anak didik. Ketiga, zona pengembangan pada siswa sekolah dasar serta hakekat sosial memiliki peran yang seimbang sehingga mengalami proses belajar yang maksimal dari teman sebaya yang lebih memahami. Keempat, adanya kemandirian dan penggunaan media menjadi salah satu bentuk kemajuan dalam proses pendidikan yang kompleks. Kontribusi keilmuan yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian ini mampu memberikan gambaran objektif atas pembelajaran siswa SD yang melibatkan tenaga ahli bukan hanya berfokus kepada guru kelas

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatahui tentang manajemen perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa, kendala serta solusinya. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan obervasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data non statistik. Analisis ini digunakan untuk menganalisis jenis-jenis data yang bersifat kualitatif yang tidak bisa diukur dengan angka. Dari hasil penelitian maka dapat diketahui bahwa Pelaksanaan perencanaan Manajemen perpustakaan SD Inpres 4/82 Abbumpungeng dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa diantaranya dalam upaya meningkatkan minat baca siswa: 1) melakukan promosi perpustakaan. 2) kerjasama dengan guru mata pelajaran. Adapun solusi manajemen perpustakaan SD Impres 4/82 Abbumpungeng adalah : a. Memenuhi sarana dan prasana yang kurang. b. Diperlukan penambahan stok buku yang digunakan oleh para siswa. c. Diperlukan personil perpustakaan yang memadai

Abstract

The problem of dental caries is one of the most common health problems experienced by school-age children, so an understanding of good and correct tooth brushing and maintaining oral health must be instilled from an early age. This research aims to determine the impact of giving leaflet media and playing snakes and ladders on increasing knowledge about how to brush their teeth in students. This study used a quasy experiment method with a non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The research location was at SDN 065015 Medan Tuntungan Subdistrict. The research time started from January - May 2023. The subjects of this study were all third-grade students of SDN 065015 Medan Tuntungan District, totaling 30 people. The sample size was used as a total sampling of 30 people. The subjects of this study were divided into two groups, namely the intervention group of 15 people and the control group of 15 people. The intervention in this study was the provision of leaflet media and playing snakes and ladders. For the intervention and control groups, a pre-test was conducted before the subjects were given leaflet media and played snakes and ladders. Furthermore, both groups were given a post-test after being given leaflet media and playing Snakes and Ladders. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires before and after being given leaflet media and playing snakes and ladders. Data analysis using paired t-test and unpaired t-test. The results showed that the average knowledge of students about how to brush their teeth in the intervention and control groups both experienced a significant increase in knowledge. There is a difference in the average score of students' knowledge before and after being given intervention through leaflet media and playing snakes and ladders (p = <0.05). To the teacher of SDN 065015 Medan Tuntungan to collaborate with the Puskesmas to provide socialization in the form of routine counseling to students about how to brush their teeth.

Abstract

Dental health efforts need to be reviewed from environmental aspects, knowledge, education, public awareness and handling of dental health including prevention and treatment. But most people ignore the overall dental health conditions. This study aims to determine the correlation between tooth brushing behavior on dental and oral hygiene in elementary school children. The type of research used was a systematic review research. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the characteristics of the condition of dental and oral hygiene were GOOD, 50% of the articles with the criteria of MEDIUM dental and oral hygiene, and 30% of the articles with the criteria of POOR dental and oral hygiene. From this systematic review, it proved that the condition of dental and oral hygiene obtained data that 20% of articles with good dental and oral hygiene criteria, 50% articles with moderate dental and oral hygiene criteria, and 30% articles with poor oral hygiene criteria, so it can be concluded that Elementary School Children must further improve their behavior in maintaining dental and oral health by brushing their teeth regularly so that their dental and oral health will be better.

Abstract

The challenges encountered by elementary school students in their initial forays into reading can be considered significant obstacles to their participation in learning. This study aims to analyse the optimisation of the role of parents and teachers in overcoming the difficulties experienced by grade II students at SDN 6 Tambun in beginning reading, and to identify the factors that support and inhibit this process. A qualitative case study approach was employed to collect data through participant observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, parents, students, and documentation studies. The findings revealed a discrepancy: the role of teachers as mentors and motivators was identified as optimal through the implementation of appropriate learning strategies, motivation, and individualised guidance. Conversely, the role of parents as educators and facilitators within the home environment was found to be suboptimal, primarily due to constraints such as time limitations arising from parental employment, a lack of understanding regarding effective methodologies, and an absence of a rich home literacy environment. This finding underscores the necessity for enhancing synergistic collaboration between teachers and parents through socialisation, mentoring, and the implementation of practical strategies to provide comprehensive support for the optimal development of students' reading skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using a multiplication board as a teaching aid on improving mathematics learning outcomes for third-grade students at SDN Inpres Risa 1. The research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of all 23 students in the class, selected through total sampling. Data were collected through pretest and posttest essay questions (15 items) and analyzed using descriptive statistics, N-Gain calculation, normality test, and paired samples t-test with SPSS 26. The results showed that the average pretest score was 54.97, increasing to 79.42 in the posttest. The average N-Gain score was 0.54, categorized as moderate. The Shapiro–Wilk normality test indicated a normal data distribution (Sig. > 0.05), while the paired samples t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant improvement in students’ multiplication skills after using the multiplication board. This research confirms that concrete teaching aids can enhance student engagement, understanding, and achievement in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Membaca permulaan merupakan tahapan proses belajar membaca bagi siswa sekolah dasar kelas awal. Siswa belajar untuk memperoleh kemampuan, menguasai teknik-teknik membaca dan menangkap isi bacaan dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, guru perlu merancang pembelajaran membaca dengan baik sehingga mampu menumbuhkan kebiasan membaca sebagai suatu yang menyenangkan. Suasana belajar harus dapat diciptakan melalui kegiatan permainan bahasa dalam pembelajaran membaca. Hal itu sesuai dengan karakteristik anak yang masih senang bermain. Permainan memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan kognitif dan sosial anak. Oleh sebab itu, strategi permainan dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu strategi dalam pembelajaran membaca di kelas pemula. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode permainan dengan informan siswa kelas 2 SD Negeri 16 Enam Lingkung, Kecamatan Enam Lingkung, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, Sumatera Barat. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah pemanfaatan permainan dalam pembelajaran bahasa di sekolah dasar membuat siswa merasa senang dan riang dalam pembelajaran membaca. Dengan adanya pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa melalui pemanfaatan permainan.
