Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the impact of software testing practices on software quality in software companies in Batam, Indonesia. It focused on identifying key factors such as software testing knowledge, software testing approach, and software testing complexity and analysing their correlation with software quality. Data was collected from 48 respondents, including project managers, developers, and QA teams, using a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms and convenience sampling. The questionnaire was designed based on related studies to ensure relevance to the respondents’ roles. Regression analysis identified significant impacts of testing complexity, approach (p = 0.000), and knowledge (p = 0.003) on software quality. The F-test result (F = 32.622) confirmed a strong relationship between testing practices and software quality. These findings emphasise the critical role of robust testing strategies in enhancing software quality. For companies in Batam, the study offers actionable insights, including adopting structured frameworks and preferable action on testing approaches. Implementing these strategies can help organisations improve software outcomes and maintain competitiveness in the evolving software development landscape.

Abstract

The era of globalization has greatly influenced various problems and challenges in the field of education in Indonesia. The quality of education management is very important in the process of improving the quality of education effectively and efficiently which can be seen from an education management process. Strategic planning is a necessity for educational institutions to prepare, carry out and implement it in all school activities to achieve goals in accordance with the vision and mission to improve the quality of education in both primary and secondary schools. Therefore, school principals must have appropriate strategies and analytical methods in making changes to the quality of education. SWOT analysis or method (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) is considered to be an approach in the context of strategic planning. The aim of this review is to analyze the impact of strategic planning with SWOT analysis on primary and secondary schools. This research is a literature study that looks for data sources in the form of information through an electronic database, namely Google Scholar. The research articles used are those that comply with previously determined criteria. The research results show that strategic planning with SWOT analysis has a positive impact on improving the quality of education in primary and secondary schools. Improving the quality or quality of education is directed at improving the quality of Indonesian people so that they have competitiveness in facing global challenges.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of environmental innovation and profitability on the risk of stock price drops in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Using quantitative methods, the research examines annual financial reports for 2021-2022. The findings reveal that both environmental innovation and profitability significantly impact stock price risk. Companies that implement effective environmental innovation strategies reduce long-term risks and enhance investor confidence, while high profitability strengthens financial performance and lowers volatility. These results provide critical insights for investors and managers to mitigate financial risks.

Abstract

This research examines the meaning of symbolic interactionism in beauty affiliate marketing strategies on the TikTok application. TikTok has evolved into a major platform for marketing, as the digital ecosystem evolves. TikTok affiliates serve as intermediaries between brands and customers by using symbols to build product perceptions. The purpose of this study is to find out how TikTok affiliates in Tangerang Regency use communication symbols such as hashtags, facial expressions, body language, speaking styles through digital trends and following the TikTok algorithm to create an image of beauty products and attract audiences. This research uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation listed to verify the truth of the data obtained. The results of this study show that affiliates not only promote products, but also create meaning through social interaction with the audience. Affiliates can increase audience engagement by sharing personal experiences, using hooks, CTAs, thumbnails, providing honest reviews. Affiliates can also increase their credibility by using TikTok features such as FYP and yellow baskets. Thus, this study provides an understanding of the role of TikTok social media in digital marketing and offers a new perspective for affiliates and brands in developing strategies about marketing beauty products on TikTok.Keywords: Tiktok, Affiliate Program, Strategic Marketing, Personal Branding

Abstract

Abstrak Pengembangan modul ajar adalah salah satu alat pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru dalam proses mengajar di dalam kelas. Salah satu kemampuan yang penting dimiliki oleh siswa dalam belajar matematika adalah kemampuan dalam memecahkan masalah. Karena itu, untuk membantu guru dalam mengajar secara efektif dengan menggunakan strategi tertentu. Salah satu strategi yang bisa digunakan dalam proses belajar matematika adalah strategi heuristik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan dari modul ajar yang menggunakan strategi heuristik untuk melatih kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada materi persamaan dan fungsi kuadrat kelas X di MA Al Qodiri Jember. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket validasi dari ahli materi, ahli pembelajaran, angket respons dari guru dan siswa, serta tes pemecahan masalah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Hasil penelitian validator materi sebesar 90%. validator ahli perangkat pembelajaran sebesar 96,36%. Kemudian diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 93,18% dikatakan Sangat Valid. analisis kepraktisan diperoleh dari angket respon peserta didik sebesar 82,97% dan angket respon guru sebesar 84%. rata-rata sebesar 83,48% praktis. Hasil analisis data uji efektifitas didapatkan dari test menunjukkan nilai dengan presentase 80,95%. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Modul Ajar dengan Strategi Heuristik untuk mengajarkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada pokok materi persamaan dan fungsi kuadrat efektif. Kata kunci: Modul Ajar, Strategi Heuristik, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Persamaan dan Fungsi Kuadrat. Abstract The development of teaching modules is one of the learning tools used by teachers in the teaching process in the classroom. One of the important skills that students must have in learning mathematics is the ability to solve problems. Therefore, to help teachers teach effectively using certain strategies, one strategy that can be used in the mathematics learning process is the heuristic strategy. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of teaching modules that use heuristic strategies to train problem-solving skills in quadratic equations and functions for 10th grade students at MA Al Qodiri Jember. Data collection techniques were carried out using validation questionnaires from subject matter experts, learning experts, response questionnaires from teachers and students, and problem-solving tests. Abstract

Background: First Aid in emergency situations is an essential skill that nursing students must possess. Adequate knowledge of First Aid is crucial in saving lives and preventing the worsening of patients’ conditions. However, many students still have suboptimal levels of First Aid knowledge. Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect of simulation-based learning on First Aid knowledge in emergency situations among nursing students at STIKES Estu Utomo. Method: This research used a one-group pretest-posttest design without a control group. A total of 43 nursing students were selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using paired t-test. Results: Before the intervention, the average knowledge score was 62.74 ± 9.446. After simulation-based learning, the average score increased to 77.29 ± 7.717, with a mean difference of 14.559 ± 1.408. The paired t-test showed a significant difference with a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), and the 95% confidence interval ranged from 11.694 to 17.423. Conclusion: Simulation-based learning is proven effective in increasing nursing students’ knowledge of First Aid in emergency situations. It is recommended that this method be implemented in nursing education curricula to enhance students’ readiness in responding to emergencies professionally

Abstract

Background:  Stress is one of the psychological problems frequently experienced by the elderly due to physical, social, and emotional changes associated with aging. High stress levels can reduce quality of life and increase the risk of physical and mental health problems. One of the non-pharmacological methods to reduce stress is lemongrass aromatherapy (Cymbopogon citratus), which contains citral and geraniol compounds known for their calming effects and ability to lower cortisol levels. Objective: To determine the effect of lemongrass aromatherapy on stress levels among the elderly at BPSTW Yogyakarta Unit Budi Luhur. Method: The study used a pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design. The population consisted of 80 elderly residents, with 57 respondents selected using stratified random sampling. The instrument used was the DASS-42 questionnaire to measure stress levels before and after the intervention. The intervention was conducted using lemongrass aromatherapy via a reed diffuser twice daily for two weeks. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: Before the intervention, most respondents experienced moderate stress with an average score of 16.7. After the intervention, stress levels decreased to mild with an average score of 11.4. The Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of 0.001 (<0.05), indicating a significant effect of lemongrass aromatherapy on reducing stress levels among the elderly. Conclusion: Lemongrass aromatherapy has a significant effect on reducing stress levels among the elderly at BPSTW Yogyakarta Unit Budi Luhur. It can be used as a complementary non-pharmacological therapy to promote relaxation and improve psychological well-being in older adults.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of digital transformation in accounting and the effectiveness of internal control systems on the quality of financial reports in an integrated logistics services company. The method used is a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), with data collected from 35 respondents who are involved in financial and accounting activities within the company. The analysis focuses on evaluating the relationships between digital transformation, internal control systems, and financial reporting quality. The research findings indicate that digital transformation in accounting (coefficient = 0.658; p-value = 0.000) and internal control systems (coefficient = 0.308; p-value = 0.023) have a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial reports. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.822 shows that both independent variables are able to explain 82.2% of the variation in financial report quality, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside the model. These results confirm that the implementation of digital technology supported by an effective internal control system can significantly improve the accuracy, relevance, timeliness, and reliability of financial reporting in organizations.

Abstract

Kecamatan Pekuncen, Kabupaten Banyumas, merupakan wilayah dengan tingkat kerawanan tinggi terhadap bencana longsor sehingga diperlukan upaya pencegahan yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kearifan lokal masyarakat dalam pencegahan longsor lahan di Desa Cibangkong, Kecamatan Pekuncen, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi terhadap 12 informan yang dipilih karena memiliki pengetahuan serta pengalaman terkait pencegahan longsor. Data dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kearifan lokal masyarakat tercermin dalam dua aspek utama, yaitu nilai dan praktik. Aspek nilai tampak pada gotong royong, kepedulian, kebersamaan, kepatuhan terhadap larangan menebang pohon sembarangan, tradisi sedekah bumi, penggunaan tenger sebagai penanda longsor, serta bronjong sebagai penahan erosi. Aspek praktik dilakukan melalui pengolahan lahan berupa terasering atau sengkedan, serta teknik vegetatif dengan menanam pohon berakar kuat seperti jati, albasia, manggis, rumput gajah, dan vetiver. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kearifan lokal berperan penting dalam membangun kesiapsiagaan masyarakat setempat terhadap risiko longsor secara berkelanjutan.
