Abstract

Arabic vocabulary mastery (mufrodat) is one of the main keys to mastering Arabic. However, a monotonous learning environment often becomes an obstacle for students to achieve this mastery. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of icebreaker strategies in increasing student engagement in learning Arabic mufrodat. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that icebreaker strategies were able to change the classroom atmosphere from initially boring to more active, fun, and conducive. This strategy succeeded in attracting students' attention and increasing their participation in the learning process. In conclusion, icebreakers are an effective tool for creating an entertaining learning environment while supporting the improvement of Arabic vocabulary mastery. This strategy can be adapted as an innovative learning method to create a more interactive and motivating atmosphere for students

Abstract

Language skills, especially the ability to master Arabic vocabulary, are very important skills to master, especially in early childhood. Language learning for early childhood is expected to be taught through more interesting activities, one of which is singing. The purpose of this study was to explore improving the Arabic vocabulary of children aged 5-6 years through the singing method. This research method is qualitative research with a literature review derived from the analysis of research journal articles. The results of the study indicate that improving children's vocabulary can be applied by teachers through the singing method well and effectively because teachers have talent, ability and innovation in implementing different learning methods according to the character of students and their schools.

Abstract

Mastery of vocabulary is a crucial element in learning Arabic, particularly for young children. However, the main challenge in this process is making the learning experience both engaging and effective, in line with the developmental characteristics of 5-6-year-old children. This study aims to examine the use of the singing method as a strategy to enhance vocabulary mastery in early childhood. The research adopts a qualitative-descriptive approach, gathering data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the singing method successfully creates a fun learning environment, boosts children's motivation, and helps them easily remember and acquire Arabic vocabulary. The chosen songs feature simple vocabulary that aligns with children's everyday lives, accompanied by movements to reinforce understanding and encourage active participation. The implementation of this method also supports the development of children's cognitive, emotional, and motor skills. Therefore, the singing method has proven to be an effective and innovative approach in teaching Arabic to 5-6-year-old children.

Abstract

Music plays a central role in children's development, and the use of musical instruments such as the angklung has become part of the music education curriculum in preschools. This research aims to delve into the application of the angklung in developing the artistic abilities of early childhood. The method employed is a qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative methods, utilizing data analysis steps based on the Miles and Huberman approach. Data collection involves interviews, observations, and documentation. The research results indicate that the angklung is effective in developing the artistic abilities of children, particularly in the realm of musical arts. Children exhibit variations in their musical expressions through the use of the angklung. These findings provide a comprehensive understanding of the potential of the angklung as a tool for developing the artistic skills of early childhood.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong transformasi sistem pembayaran, di mana QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) hadir sebagai solusi transaksi yang mudah, cepat, dan aman. Namun, adopsinya di daerah pedesaan seperti Desa Kutambelin masih menghadapi kendala rendahnya literasi keuangan digital dan kekhawatiran akan keamanan, seperti ancaman QR code palsu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas edukasi QRIS dalam meningkatkan pemahaman, minat penggunaan, serta kewaspadaan masyarakat desa terhadap penipuan digital, sekaligus mengeksplorasi perannya dalam membangun fondasi ekonomi digital yang berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods) dan desain one-group pre-test post-test. Kegiatan edukasi dilakukan secara partisipatif, menggabungkan materi teoritis dengan simulasi praktis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta mengenai penggunaan QRIS. Masyarakat dan pelaku UMKM mulai beralih dari transaksi tunai ke digital, yang meningkatkan efisiensi dan transparansi keuangan. Aspek keamanan digital, termasuk mekanisme verifikasi untuk mencegah penipuan, menjadi komponen kunci dalam edukasi. Meskipun tantangan seperti infrastruktur internet yang terbatas dan variasi tingkat pemahaman digital masih ada, strategi keberlanjutan melalui kolaborasi perbaikan infrastruktur, pendampingan berkelanjutan, dan pengembangan modul lanjutan berhasil dirumuskan.

Abstract

Abstract: Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of student dedication to society aimed at addressing complex and multidimensional village problems. This study aims to describe the implementation of an interdisciplinary collaboration-based KKN program in community empowerment at Kutambelin Village. The method used is descriptive with a participatory approach through various cross-sector programs covering education, health, economy, religion, and environment. The results show positive impacts, including increased children’s reading interest through reading corners and storytelling, improved family nutrition awareness from stunting education, elderly independence in conducting health exercises, and improved MSMEs’ capacity through branding and digital promotion strategies. In addition, activities such as joint recitation, drug abuse prevention campaigns, anti-bullying education, and biopore construction strengthen Islamic brotherhood, environmental awareness, and social solidarity. The conclusion is that interdisciplinary collaboration in KKN proves to be more effective than a single-sector approach as it produces comprehensive and sustainable impacts, making it a strategic model for future village empowerment.            Keywords: economy; education; health; interdisciplinary collaboration; kkn  Abstrak: Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan wujud pengabdian mahasiswa kepada masyarakat untuk menjawab permasalahan desa yang kompleks dan multidimensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi program KKN berbasis kolaborasi interdisipliner dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat di Desa Kutambelin. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui serangkaian program lintas bidang, meliputi pendidikan, kesehatan, ekonomi, keagamaan, dan lingkungan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan dampak positif, di antaranya peningkatan minat baca anak melalui pojok baca dan storytelling, peningkatan kepedulian gizi keluarga dari edukasi stunting, kemandirian lansia dalam melaksanakan senam sehat, serta peningkatan kapasitas UMKM melalui branding dan strategi promosi digital. Selain itu, kegiatan ngaji bersama, sosialisasi NAPZA, edukasi anti-bullying, serta pembuatan biopori memperkuat ukhuwah Islamiah, kepedulian lingkungan, dan solidaritas sosial. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah kolaborasi interdisipliner dalam KKN terbukti lebih efektif dibandingkan pendekatan sektoral tunggal karena menghasilkan dampak yang komprehensif dan berkelanjutan, sehingga dapat menjadi model strategis bagi pemberdayaan desa ke depan. Kata kunci: ekonomi; pendidikan; kesehatan; kolaborasi interdisipliner; KKN

Abstract

Rencana Studi ini bertujuan untuk meneliti implementasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pengembangan karakter anak pada usia dini. Usia dini adalah periode krusial dalam pembentukan kepribadian, sehingga perlu adanya penanaman nilai-nilai keimanan, ibadah, dan akhlak yang dilakukan dengan cara yang terencana dan berkesinambungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan cara studi literatur melalui analisis sejumlah buku, artikel ilmiah, dan sumber terkait yang relevan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai-nilai Islam dapat dilakukan melalui pembiasaan perilaku yang religius, keteladanan dari guru dan orang tua, serta pengintegrasian nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam aktivitas belajar sehari-hari. Keberhasilan penerapan ini dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, baik internal maupun eksternal, seperti keadaan keluarga, pendidikan, budaya sosial, kondisi lingkungan, serta kesiapan fisik dan mental anak. Namun, proses ini juga mengalami tantangan berupa rendahnya motivasi anak, menurunnya peran keluarga, dan dampak dari lingkungan sosial yang kurang mendukung. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kolaborasi yang efektif antara pendidik, orang tua, dan masyarakat untuk mencapai pengembangan karakter anak usia dini yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan anak usia 5-7 tahun dalam mengenal huruf hijaiyah dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan tersebut di Desa Tanah Seribu, Kecamatan Binjai Selatan. Penelitian menggunakan metodologi campuran dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif deskriptif yang melibatkan 20 anak (9 laki-laki dan 11 perempuan) yang mengikuti pembelajaran huruf hijaiyah di lembaga pendidikan Islam setempat. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi tes kemampuan mengenal huruf, observasi ketersediaan media pembelajaran, dan wawancara dengan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan anak yang memprihatinkan, dimana hanya 35% anak berada pada kategori baik hingga sangat baik, sementara 65% berada pada kategori cukup hingga kurang. Anak mengalami kesulitan signifikan dalam membedakan huruf mirip (60-85% keliru) dan pelafalan makhraj (75% kategori cukup-kurang). Faktor utama penghambat meliputi: (1) minimnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendampingan belajar di rumah (82% tidak aktif) karena kesibukan bekerja sebagai petani; (2) metode pembelajaran konvensional yang monoton (65% lembaga); (3) keterbatasan media pembelajaran (hanya 15% lembaga memiliki media memadai); (4) rendahnya kompetensi guru (70% tanpa latar belakang pendidikan formal); dan (5) kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga yang terbatas. Penelitian ini memperkuat teori ekologi perkembangan Bronfenbrenner dan teori scaffolding Vygotsky, serta membuktikan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua merupakan faktor determinan yang lebih kuat dibanding metode atau media pembelajaran di sekolah. Rekomendasi strategis meliputi program edukasi dan pemberdayaan orang tua, pengembangan kolaborasi lembaga-keluarga, penyediaan media pembelajaran terjangkau, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan advokasi perubahan mindset masyarakat tentang tanggung jawab pendidikan anak.

Abstract

Economic empowerment of rural communities is an important approach in encouraging increased welfare and household independence. Kutambelin Village in Naman Teran District, Karo Regency, has sufficient human resource potential, especially among housewives, but this has not been balanced with sustainable productive economic activities. This Community Service Program (KKN) was carried out with the aim of equipping the community with practical skills through assistance in producing laundry soap as an alternative home business. The method used in this activity is a community-based research approach with a qualitative descriptive design that includes initial observation, program socialization, practice-based training in soap making, and simple assistance related to packaging and the economic value of the product, which was attended by 27 PKK mothers and the Kutambelin Village community. The results of the activity showed an increase in community understanding and skills in the process of making laundry soap, accompanied by a change in mindset towards business opportunities based on daily needs, where the implementation of soap making became an attraction in itself to make and market it, because it is easy and the ingredients are easy to obtain. The resulting soap products can be used for household needs and have the potential to be developed as a micro-scale business. Thus, this activity demonstrates that mentoring simple skills can be an effective strategy in supporting community economic empowerment.
