Abstract

This research was conducted at the Novotel Grand Shayla Hotel in Makassar, with the aim of identifying and analyzing the experiences of marketing staff in marketing venues through digital media, as well as analyzing the extent to which the optimization of these strategies is able to effectively reach the corporate segment. The method used was a qualitative descriptive approach, employing data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews with Sales and Marketing staff, as well as documentation. The research findings indicate that the Sales and Marketing team has implemented seven main digital strategies, including: creating visual content, utilizing social media (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp), e-mail marketing via Mailchimp, the CVENT marketplace platform, strengthening SEO through Yext, analyzing data insights, and paid advertising through Meta Business. Although digital approaches have been actively implemented, the content strategies applied remain general and have not been specifically segmented for the corporate segment. Additionally, TikTok has not been utilized despite its potential as a promotional channel for venues targeting young professional audiences. Therefore, the findings of this study are expected to provide insights for hotel management in optimizing more effective and focused digital marketing strategies tailored to the corporate segment.

Abstract

Titanium and its alloys are widely recognized as preferred materials for dental implants, particularly in orthodontic applications, owing to their superior corrosion resistance and mechanical performance compared with stainless steel. However, certain limitations remain. In acidic environments, titanium’s corrosion resistance tends to decline. This issue is of particular relevance in West Sumatra, where local dietary habits include frequent consumption of acidic and high-fat foods such as rendang, gulai and various fried dishes. Hence, it is important to evaluate the corrosion behavior of titanium and its alloys under acidic conditions. In this study, four titanium-based materials were investigated: Ti-12 Cr, TNTZ-ST, Ti-64 ELI (Extra Low Interstitial), and Commercially Pure Titanium (CpTi). Immersion tests were performed in Kokubo’s Simulated Body Fluid (SBF) at pH 5.0 for four exposure periods (1, 2, 3, and 4 weeks). The corrosion rate was determined using the weight loss method. Results revealed that CpTi exhibited the highest corrosion rate (0.0985 mm/y) after 4 weeks, while Ti-12 Cr demonstrated the lowest (0.0515 mm/y). Regarding hardness, CpTi reached the highest value (365 HVN at 1 week), whereas Ti-12 Cr recorded the lowest (130 HVN).

Abstract

Hikayat Patani is a literary work born from the Patani community that describes its social and historical conditions. This qualitative study examines social and historical transposition in the Hikayat Patani using Julia Kristeva's intertextual approach. The research data source is Hikayat Patani, with data collected through text reading and mapping, systematic recording, and contextual analysis. Data analysis includes suprasegmental and intertextual techniques. The study reveals the following social transpositions: 1) Patani port center; 2) Patani trade center; 3) Patani community is prosperous and prosperous; 4) development of Sungai Tambangan; and 5) treasurer in the government. Historical transpositions include: 1) Patani kingdom of the Islamic sultanate; 2) names of the sultans of Patani; 3) Patani led by a female king; 4) female monarch names; and 5) Patani kingdom maritime kingdom. The research reinforces Kristeva's intertextual theory in Malay literature analysis and underscores the role of Hikayat Patani as a source of history, culture, and Islamization. These findings support the development of local culture-based teaching materials and the strengthening of Patani Malay identity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the elements within the Fraud Hexagon theory on fraudulent financial report in construction companies. The Fraud Hexagon is an expansion of previous fraud theories and consists of six key dimensions: pressure, opportunity, rationalization, capability, arrogance, and collusion. This research adopts a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The variables used as proxies for the Fraud Hexagon elements include asset growth, monitoring effectiveness, audit opinion, board of director changes, CEO duality, and political connections. Data were obtained from annual reports of IDX-listed construction companies during the period of 2019-2023. The results show that several elements of the Fraud Hexagon have a significant effect on financial statement fraud, particularly within the construction industry, which is characterized by operational complexity and vulnerability to manipulation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of differentiated learning at MI Darul Ulum 02 in Kudus and at MI Rodlotus Syubban in Pati within the framework of the Independent Curriculum. A qualitative field study with a multi-case design was conducted to collect data through interviews, documentation, and observation. The data were analyzed using multi-case analysis, beginning with an analysis of each case individually and then synthesizing the cases to identify patterns and distinctions. The findings reveal that differentiated learning at both madrasahs not only accommodates students’ diverse needs but also cultivates the Pancasila Student Profile through contextual learning. Differentiation is implemented through three dimensions—content, process, and product—supported by creating an inclusive and ethical learning environment, developing students’ personal and social competencies, and conducting diagnostic assessments for each subject. Practically, the study provides madrasah teachers with insight for designing and managing differentiated learning aligned with the Independent Curriculum. From a scientific perspective, this research contributes a contextual model of differentiated instruction in Islamic elementary schools by integrating national curriculum values with Islamic educational principles.
