Abstract

Warung Tera' merupakan salah satu kuliner khas Jember dan mempunyai potensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai salah satu produk wisata kuliner di Jember mengingat sektor pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor penyumbang devisa negara yang cukup besar bagi pembangunan daerah dan nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun strategi pemasaran dalam upaya pengembangan wisata kuliner Warung Tera’ Jember sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas pengusaha kuliner tradisional di kota Jember. Dengan menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari wawancara dan observasi terhadap pengusaha dan pengrajin kuliner, serta data sekunder dari instansi terkait dilakukan analisis IF/EF dan analisis SWOT. Pemasar destinasi wisata menghadapi kebutuhan baru untuk menyempurnakan dan menghubungkan branding pengalaman kuliner mereka dan strategi pemasaran untuk meraih pangsa pasar pariwisata yang besar. Artinya, destinasi wisata non-tradisional seperti Jember harus berupaya melakukan branding dan memasarkan diri agar mendapat arus wisatawan yang berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat dijadikan rekomendasi dalam pengembangan wisata kuliner di Jember sebagai upaya pemberdayaan pengusaha kuliner tradisional.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of compensation and workload on the performance of PT Dipa Puspa Labsains South Jakarta employees, both partially and simultaneously. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula and a sample of 99 respondents was obtained. Data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, coefficients of determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this research show that partially there is a positive and significant influence between compensation on employee performance with the simple linear regression equation Y= 24.957 + 0.367X1. The correlation value is 0.576 and the tcount value is 6.948 > ttable 1.985 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Partially there is a positive and significant influence between workload on employee performance with the simple linear regression equation Y = 15.317 + 0.602X2. The correlation value is 0.536 and the tcount value is 6.259 > ttable 1.985 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence between compensation and workload on employee performance with the multiple linear regression equation Y = 16.210 + 0.253X1 + 0.332X2. The coefficient of determination value is 62.3%. And the Fcount value is 30.428 > Ftable 3.09 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman terkait keilmuan wirausaha pada siswa di MA YABIKA Kabupaten Tangerang yang perlu didukung agar termotivasi menjadi seorang pelaku usaha atau wirausaha yang kreatif di era digitalisasi. Metode Pelaksanaan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini di antaranya dengan menggunakan ceramah dan berdiskusi secara bersama sehingga penyuluhan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ilmu pengetahuan khususnya materi mengenai ilmu kewirausahaan dan konsep bisnis sebagai bekal menjadi seorang wirausaha muda yang kreatif di era digitalisasi. Hasil dari kegiatan Pengabdian oleh dosen Prodi Manajemen Program Sarjana, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pamulang dapat membuahkan hasil yang positif terlihat dari antusias dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti pemberian materi pengabdian, tanya jawab dan kuis yang diadakan oleh Tim Pengabdian Dosen Universitas Pamulang.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges and opportunities for knowledge management systems (KMS) in various domains and sectors. This research explores the strategies to manage expectational knowledge in higher education after the COVID-19 pandemic. This study employed a qualitative research method with a case study design to capture the students’ perspectives on strategies to manage expectational knowledge in higher education after the COVID-19 pandemic. The participants are students at the doctoral program, Universitas Pasundan, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The interview was conducted in December 2022 using a semi-structured interview technique and then was analyzed using thematic analysis. This research found four strategies doctoral management students use to manage expectation knowledge after the COVID-19 pandemic. The strategies are codification, personalization, knowledge partnering, and knowledge harvesting. The research implications of this study provide a foundation for future research endeavors to advance the understanding and application of knowledge management strategies in the post-pandemic higher education landscape.

Abstract

This article explores the implementation of Lean Management principles to improve operational efficiency in organizations. Lean Management, with its roots in the Toyota production system, focuses on reducing waste and increasing value for customers. The main goal of implementing this method is to create a more efficient work process, reduce costs, and improve the quality of products or services. This article begins with a brief introduction to Lean Management, including its origins and philosophy, as well as the importance of operational efficiency in the current era of globalization. In the core section, this article details the key steps in implementing Lean Management, starting from Value Stream Mapping to identify inefficiencies, creating Flows to optimize processes, implementing a Pull System to avoid overproduction, to implementing Kaizen for continuous improvement. Each step is explained with theory and illustrated through applicable examples, showing how this theory is applied in real business practice. Next, this article outlines the significant benefits of implementing Lean Management, including increased cost and time efficiency, better product or service quality, higher customer satisfaction, and increased organizational flexibility and adaptability. A real case study is presented to illustrate the transformation achieved through the application of Lean principles. The conclusion of the article summarizes the long-term benefits of implementing Lean Management and emphasizes the importance of innovation and adaptation in operational management. This article concludes with recommendations for organizations seeking to implement Lean Management, as well as providing additional resources for readers interested in exploring further.

Abstract

Computer networks are one of the skills that require mastering concepts, but a weak comprehension of these concepts can cause cognitive and psychomotor challenges for students. Several studies showed that a group of information technology education students at a university struggled with basic network practical exercises, signifying the importance of addressing conceptual understanding. Therefore, this study aimed to enhance students’ comprehension of high-level abstract computer network materials. To achieve the desired outcome, a pre-test post-test control group design was conducted on two groups of 29 students each. The results showed a positive impact on strengthening the conceptual understanding of students. Consequently, the experimental class achieved higher test scores compared to the control class, with a difference of 11.6. Data processing also showed higher N-gain values in the experimental class, indicating that analogies had a positive influence on students’ conceptual understanding of computer network materials.

Abstract

Kondisi kinerja di Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) Kebayoran Baru Kota Administrasi Jakarta Selatan masih ada beberapa persoalan atau masih ada fenomena yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian manajemen, agar ke depan kinerja mampu dicapai dengan maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi dan disiplin terhadap semangat kerja pegawai yang berdampak pada kinerja pegawai Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) Kebayoran Baru Kota Administrasi Jakarta Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan sampel sebanyak 96 responden. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis statistik dengan pengujian regresi, determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap semangat kerja pegawai sebesar 36,5%, uji hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Disiplin berpengaruh signifikan terhadap semangat kerja pegawai sebesar 46,3%, uji  hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Kompensasi dan disiplin secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap semangat kerja pegawai sebesar 52,8%, uji hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05.Semangat kerja pegawai berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 31,0%, uji  hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05.Kata Kunci: kompensasi, disiplin, semangat kerja pegawai, kinerja pegawai

Abstract

This study looks at how technopreneurship and its consequent function in assisting the growth of student Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at private institutions in the Banten region are impacted by the knowledge management and skills of lecturers. The goal of the study is to better understand how these elements interact to improve technology focused entrepreneurship education. Using a survey methodology and probability sampling, a quantitative approach was used to gather data from 397 students attending private universities in Banten. Version 3.0 of the Partial Least Squares (PLS) software was used to analyze the data. The findings show that: (1) knowledge management has a significant and positive impact on technopreneurship (t-statistic of 95.378 > t-table 1.649 and a P-value of 0.00 < 0.05); (2) competence has a significant and negative impact on technopreneurship (t-statistic of 7.386 > t-table 1.649 and a P-value of 0.000 < 0.05); (3) knowledge management has no significant effect on MSME development (t-statistic of 0.974 < t-table 1.649 and a P-value of 0.330 > 0.05); (4) competence similarly has no significant effect on MSME development (t-statistic of 0.639 < t-table 1.649 and a P-value of 0.523 > 0.05); and (5) technopreneurship has a significant positive effect on MSME development (t-statistic of 34.058 > t-table 1.649 and a P-value of 0.000 < 0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing academic achievement and its impact on students' career and self-development. The primary focus is to understand how internal factors such as motivation, self-confidence, and study discipline, as well as external factors such as family support, school environment, and educational policies, contribute to students' success. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving students from various educational levels. Data were collected through questionnaires designed to measure variables related to academic achievement and its impact on career development and self-improvement. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and regression analysis to identify relationships between these variables. The findings indicate that internal factors, particularly intrinsic motivation and study discipline, have a significant impact on students' academic achievement. Additionally, family support and a conducive school environment also contribute positively. Furthermore, high academic achievement is strongly associated with increased self-confidence in career planning and enhanced self-development skills such as leadership and communication.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, mastery of the English language has become a fundamental prerequisite in the academic world, especially for students. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of mnemonic methods in improving English language learning at SMK Bina Mandiri Multimedia. The mnemonic method, which relies on forming associations between new information and what is already known, was applied to facilitate students' memory of vocabulary and language structures. The study employed an experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach, involving 66 students divided into experimental and control groups. The results showed significant improvements in engagement and academic performance in the experimental group. There was a notable increase in the number of students actively asking and answering questions, as well as applying mnemonic techniques. The average score increased from 34 in Cycle 1 to 72 in Cycle 2, indicating substantial improvement in learning outcomes. The study concludes that the application of mnemonic methods is effective in enhancing English language learning, by improving memory retention and learning motivation.
