Abstract

Islamic Religious Higher Education (PTKI) faces the challenge of balancing the idealism of Islamic values with the pragmatic demands of the labor market. This research aims to explore students' perspectives on this dilemma within the PTKI curriculum. Using a mixed-methods approach, this study collected quantitative data through a survey of 99 students and qualitative data through in-depth interviews. The findings reveal a significant perception gap: a majority of students (41.4%) feel the curriculum is imbalanced and overly theoretical, with 54.6% considering it irrelevant to current job market needs. This critical view is significantly more pronounced among students with internship experience (62.5%) compared to those without (33.3%). Despite this, an overwhelming majority of students (96%) do not desire a dichotomy but rather support an integrated curriculum that explicitly combines Islamic values with professional skills. The study concludes that the current theory-centric curriculum model is inadequate. It is recommended that the PTKI curriculum be reconstructed towards an applicative hybrid model that integrates theory and practice, thereby producing graduates who are not only professionally competent but also possess strong moral integrity

Abstract

This study examines how neoliberal control mechanisms, driven by knowledge capitalism, shape the management of Islamic secondary educational institutions. A descriptive, qualitative approach with a single-case study design was used. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, indirect observation, and document analysis, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The findings reveal that government policies, such as accreditation, national assessments, supervision, and performance-based reporting, act as neoliberal control mechanisms that significantly shape the institution's managerial practices. Knowledge capitalism is reflected in an achievement-oriented culture, branding strategies, and the commodification of certificates as competitive capital. Despite this, the institution maintains its Islamic values through routine worship, character development, and exemplary behavior, creating a form of "soft resistance" to neoliberal pressures. This study concludes that Islamic educational institutions can adapt to modern managerial demands while preserving their spiritual identity, proposing the concept of managerial soft resistance as a theoretical contribution.

Abstract

The integration of science and religious values in madrasah education often remains dichotomous and lacks deep epistemological unity. This study aims to describe the implementation of Biotheistic-based Biology learning and to reveal the essence of students' spiritual experiences at MA YPI Cikoneng, Bandung Regency. This research employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies involving 10 purposively selected key participants. The results indicate that: (1) The implementation of Biotheistic learning is structured through the 'Webbed-Theistic' planning model and the execution of 'Scientific-Spiritual Inquiry,' integrating qauliyah and kauniyah verses; (2) Phenomenologically, students experience a paradigm shift where biological phenomena are viewed not merely as material mechanisms but as theophanies (manifestations) of God's greatness; (3) The essence of students' spiritual experience evolves from cognitive understanding to a sense of awe, culminating in a consciousness of servitude (being). This study concludes that the Biotheistic approach effectively transforms Biology learning into a means of ma'rifatullah (knowing God) that enhances students' spiritual awareness, despite constraints regarding time allocation.

Abstract

This article discusses the integration of knowledge by Jabir Ibn Hayyan in teaching chemistry at schools based on Islamic perspectives. Its background includes the importance of integrating science and Islamic values in education. The research aims to explore whether knowledge has been integrated with other sciences in teaching chemistry at madrasah schools based on the perspective of integrating Jabir Ibn Hayyan's chemical knowledge. The method used is descriptive qualitative using questionnaires distributed to three chemistry teachers at madrasah schools. The research findings indicate that the integration of chemical knowledge based on Jabir Ibn Hayyan's principles is not uniformly used in teaching at madrasah schools. The conclusion of this study is that the understanding and application of Jabir Ibn Hayyan's knowledge integration principles in the context of teaching chemistry vary among chemistry teachers. The research's contribution highlights the need for further efforts to integrate Jabir Ibn Hayyan's concepts into the chemistry curriculum at madrasah schools to create a balanced learning environment between intellectual and spiritual aspects.

Abstract

The content of critical thinking should be possessed by teachers because it benefits not only students but also the teachers themselves. Teachers play a crucial role in achieving the educational goals in developing students' critical thinking abilities. Many teachers fail to formulate the construct of critical thinking, assuming that understanding the development of critical thinking assessment is challenging, such as what will be measured. The purpose of this research is to measure the content of critical thinking in the Meta-Theoretical Aristoteles approach in Acid-Base Learning in Islamic Educational Institutions. The method used to compose this article is literature review (library research). Aristoteles values the importance of observation and experience in learning. In the context of learning, critical thinking should be based on careful observation and meticulous analysis of real experiences. By using critical thinking principles inspired by Aristoteles, educators can help students develop strong critical thinking skills, understand how to make strong arguments, and deepen their understanding of various subjects in the Acid-Base concept in Islamic educational institutions

Abstract

One of the learning objectives of science, especially in the last few curricula, is to gain belief in God Almighty based on the existence, beauty, and orderliness of His creation. But why do many scientists, especially natural science scientists, manifest themselves as a group that does not believe in the existence of God? The purpose of this study is to show how much connection there is between science and religion, especially to reveal how much real evidence shows the existence of God as the creator of the universe. The analytical tool used in this research is the falsification technique initiated by several philosophers, especially Karl Popper. The results of this research show strong evidence of the existence of God as the creator of the universe, which is doubted by many world scientists. The results of this research make it possible to open the barrier between science and religion, especially Islam.

Abstract

Artikel ini memberikan tinjauan komprehensif tentang teknologi bayi tabung, mengkombinasikan pandangan dari sains, moral, dan agama, serta mempertimbangkan penerimaan dan pemahaman teknologi ini dalam masyarakat yang beragam. Studi ini tidak hanya menelaah dampak ilmiah, etik, dan agama dari bayi tabung, tetapi juga menilai sejauh mana pendidikan mengenai bayi tabung efektif, terutama bagi siswa SMP kelas 9 . Metodologi yang digunakan adalah gabungan teknik kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan pretest dan postest untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang bayi tabung mulai dari segi ilmu pengetahuan hingga kesadaran etis dan keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa, menandakan keberhasilan metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa, menandakan keberhasilan metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Artikel ini menyoroti perlunya pendekatan yang holistik dalam pendidikan bayi tabung, yang menyatukan aspek sains, etika dan agama. Ini menegaskan perlunya dialog lintas disiplin ilmu untuk memahami dan mengelola teknologi reproduksi, mengajukan strategi yang lebih inklusif dan reflektif untuk menyeimbangkan kemajuan teknoologi dengan nilai-nilai sosial dan moral, serta mempersiapkan generasi muda dalam menghadapi kompleksitas teknologi reproduksi.

Abstract

Perkembangan artificial intelligence (AI) telah merasuk dalam berbagai industri, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Kemudahan AI ini berdampak pada kurangnya eksistensi manusia dalam pembelajaran dan pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menginterpretasikan eksistensi manusia sebagai subjek pendidikan di era artificial intelligence. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi pustaka dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan referensi artikel, jurnal, dan buku-buku terkait. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga pendapat Jean Paul Sartre terkait pandangannya akan eksistensialisme. Berdasarkan pendapat pertama Sartre, pemanfaatan AI dalam dunia pendidikan merupakan suatu bukti adanya kesadaran akan kebutuhan ilmu pengetahuan. Pada pendapat kedua Sartre, penggunaan AI dapat membatasi kebebasan manusia. Pendapat terakhir Sartre adalah penggunaan AI sebagai support system dalam eksistensi manusia menentukan esensinya. Peranan guru tidak dapat digantikan oleh AI. Hal ini dikarenakan AI tidak dapat mengajarkan moral dan esensi kehidupan, seperti kejujuran dan kerja keras. Hal ini juga diikuti oleh dampak negatif AI seperti plagiarisme dan cheating. Dengan demikian, diperlukan peranan guru untuk dapat menengahi dan mengarahkan manusia dalam pemanfaatan teknologi AI.

Abstract

k: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan literasi halal terkait penggunaan produk bioteknologi melalui penerapan pendekatan pragmatisme Ibn khaldun di pesantren. Didasarkan pada pemikiran praktid Ibnu Khaldun yang menerapkan pengetahuan dalam praktik nyata. Metode eksperimental, melibatkan peserta didik di pesantren. Pengambilan dari pre-test dan post -test tentang literasi halal terkait penggunaan produk bioteknologi. Sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan pragmatisme ibnu khaldun. Data tambahan dilakukan dengan wawancara kepada asatidz dan asatidzah yang mengajar di pesantren. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan setelah implementasi pendekatan pragmatisme ibnu khaldun. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi positif untuk perkembangan dunia pendidikan islam di pesantren. Pendekatan pragmatisme Ibn Khaldun terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi halal di lingkungan pesantren, memberikan sumbangan berharga terhadap pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang relevan dengan konteks keislaman.

Abstract

This study examines how financial knowledge, financial self-efficacy, and financial attitude affect capital budgeting decisions in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bandar Lampung. MSMEs play an important role in the Indonesian economy, but currently MSMEs still face challenges in financial management, especially in terms of capital budgeting. A quantitative method was used in this study, and primary data was collected from 398 MSME respondents selected through purposive sampling. The data were tested for validity, reliability, and classical assumptions before being analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that all three variables, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive impact. These findings support the Theory of Planned Behavior and emphasize the importance of improving financial knowledge, financial self-efficacy, and financial attitude for MSMEs to make rational, strategic, and sustainable decisions.
