Abstract

Pembelajaran Fisika Instrumentasi menuntut mahasiswa tidak hanya memahami konsep sensor dan sistem pengukuran, tetapi juga mampu mengembangkan alat instrumentasi serta mengomunikasikan hasil kerjanya secara ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan Project-Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis proyek pembuatan alat ukur fisika menggunakan Arduino pada mata kuliah Fisika Instrumentasi serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap pemahaman konsep, keterampilan instrumentasi, dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan desain one-group pretest–posttest dengan subjek tujuh mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan selama satu semester melalui tahapan orientasi konsep, perencanaan proyek, pelaksanaan proyek, presentasi, dan publikasi video. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep instrumentasi, rubrik penilaian proyek, dan angket motivasi belajar, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, N-gain, dan persentase ketuntasan belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep dari kategori sedang menuju tinggi dengan N-gain kategori sedang, peningkatan keterampilan instrumentasi pada kategori baik hingga sangat baik, serta motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada kategori sangat tinggi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi PjBL, Arduino, dan YouTube tidak hanya memperkuat keterampilan instrumentasi, tetapi juga memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pengembangan komunikasi ilmiah mahasiswa calon guru fisika. Kata kunci: project-based learning, fisika instrumentasi, Arduino uno, keterampilan instrumentasi, motivasi belajar Implementation of Arduino-Based Project-Based Learning in Physics Instrumentation Course to Improve Instrumentation Skills and Learning Motivation of Physics Education Students Abstract Instrumentation Physics instruction requires students not only to understand the concepts of sensors and measurement systems but also to design instrumentation devices and communicate their work in a scientific manner. This study aims to describe the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) through a project on developing physics measuring instruments using Arduino in the Instrumentation Physics course and to analyze its effects on students’ conceptual understanding, instrumentation skills, and learning motivation.. The study employed a one-group pretest–posttest design involving seven Physics Education students as participants. Instruction was conducted over one semester through the stages of concept orientation, project planning, project implementation, presentation, and video publication. Data were collected using an instrumentation concept-understanding test, a project assessment rubric, and a learning motivation questionnaire, and subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics, N-gain, and the percentage of mastery learning. The results indicate an improvement in conceptual understanding from the medium to the high category, with an N-gain in the medium range, enhanced instrumentation skills in the good to very good categories, and student learning motivation in the very high category. These findings suggest that the integration of PjBL, Arduino, and YouTube not only strengthens instrumentation skills but also has practical implications for the development of scientific communication competencies among prospective physics teachers.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge, skills, and interest of young people in traditional arts through Gandrung Dance Training in Perampuan Village, West Lombok Regency. The background of this activity is the declining interest of the younger generation in traditional Sasak dance, which is due to the dominance of popular culture, changes in lifestyle, and limited space for arts education in the community. In fact, Gandrung Dance has noble values that reflect the identity, social harmony, and philosophy of life of the Sasak people that are worth preserving. The method for implementing the activity uses a participatory approach, placing participants as active subjects in the learning process. The stages of the activity include: (1) orientation to introduce the concept and cultural values of Gandrung Dance, (2) demonstration of fourteen basic movement forms, (3) direct practice in groups with intensive guidance, (4) performance evaluation based on aspects of wiraga, wirama, and wirasa, and (5) final reflection to assess the understanding and experience of participants. Evaluation of the results is carried out through performance observation, pre- and post-training questionnaires, and reflective interviews. The results of the activity showed significant improvements in three main aspects: knowledge of the history and values of the Gandrung Dance increased from 35% to 90%; movement skills increased from 20% to 85%; and interest in preserving local culture increased from 25% to 88%. Furthermore, the training had a positive impact on participants' social attitudes, such as increased self-confidence, discipline, and the ability to work together. This activity demonstrated that traditional arts training based on local culture effectively strengthens adolescent character and builds awareness of cultural preservation in the community

Abstract

Desa Watukalangkari adalah salah satu desa di Kabupaten Bombana yang memiliki potensi sumber daya alam dan manusia yang dapat diandalkan di bidang budidaya bawang merah. Namun selama ini budidaya bawang merah yang dilakukan belum maksimal dan sehingga produktivitas bawang merah belum memberikan hasil yang diharapkan. Kegiatan budidaya bawang merah yang dilakukan masih sangat minim teknologi, seperti system pengairan yang masih manual/konvensional, tanpa dan sangat minim pengapuran, pemupukan organic terfermentasi dan belum adanya perlakuan benih sebelum tanam.  Oleh karena itu  kegiatan ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan level keberdayaan petani bawang merah sebagai mitra sasaran dalam penerapan atau melakukan inovasi teknologi dalam hal tersebut sehingga dapat mendukung pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah yang maksimal.Inovasi teknologi yang diberikan yaitu teknologi penyiraman dengan system sprinkle, teknologi pengapuran dan pemupukan organic terfermentasi dari kotoran ternak, perlakuan benih bawang dengan melakukan perendaman dalam larutan biopestisida sebelum benih bawang merah ditanam.   Adapun metode pelaksanaannya pengabdian ini diawali dengan sosialisasi kegiatan, kemudian kegiatan penyuluhan dan bimbingan teknis serta demplot percontohan. Kegiatan ini sangat membantu petani atau mitra sasaran dalam mengelola usahatani bawang merah menjadi usaha tani yang dapat mendukung peningkatan produktifitas bawang merah di Kabupaten Bombana.

Abstract

Numerical literacy, the ability to interpret and apply numerical data, is crucial for success in various fields, including computer science. Traditionally, Pascal programming courses rely on passive learning methods, hindering students' development of numeracy skills. This study investigated the effectiveness of project-based learning (PjBL) in improving numeracy literacy among 46 Physics Education students enrolled in a Pascal programming course at Mataram University in Indonesia. The PjBL approach involved real-world projects requiring students to apply and analyze numerical data within their programming tasks. Findings revealed significant improvements in numeracy literacy, with success rates of 97% for short analysis, 87% for medium analysis, and 46% for long analysis. Overall, the average learning outcome was 84 out of 100, demonstrating the potential of PjBL as an effective learning model for enhancing numeracy skills in programming contexts. Further research is encouraged to refine PjBL implementation models and optimize its impact on numeracy literacy in STEM education.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan mengkaji, mengidentifikasi pengertian pendekatan berdiferensiasi untuk pembelajaran, kemudian mensosialisasikan kepada guru SMPN 1 Terara Kabupaten Lombok Timur mengenai pembelajaran berdiferensiasi untuk penguatan SDGS Dimensi Quality Education. Akhir pengabdian ini ditargetkan telah dikenalkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi kepada para guru SMPN 1 Terara, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat sebagai salah satu upaya pencapaian SDGs dimensi quality education. Metode: Pada awal pengabdian, dilakukan peninjauan komprehensif pengertian pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Selanjutnya, dilakukan identifikasi rekomendasi-rekomendasi implementasinya. Tahap akhir dari pengabdian ini, ada komitmen para guru SMPN 1 Terara untuk mengimplementasikan pendekatan berdiferensiasi dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to understand how social constructs can shape the attitude of Male Entitlement within society. With the increasing behavior that tends to prioritize one gender, namely men, this paper seeks to further explore the relationship between social constructs and Male Entitlement itself. The author uses Cho Nam Joo's book, Kim Ji-Yeong Born in 1982, as the research object to understand how the social constructs in the background of the book can encourage Male Entitlement attitudes in the surrounding community. This research is conducted through a literature study using various books, journals, and articles that support the theme and title of the study. Through this research, the author gains perspective on the relationship between social constructs and Male Entitlement and also understands how Male Entitlement in the book Kim Ji-Yeong Born in 1982 is practiced by society through existing social constructs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan dan gaya hidup terhadap pengelolaan keuangan pada generasi sandwich. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis regresi linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan, ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan t-hitung 11,420 > t-tabel 0,195. Demikian pula, gaya hidup juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan t-hitung 3,700 > t-tabel 0,195. Secara simultan, literasi keuangan dan gaya hidup memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan generasi sandwich, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan F-hitung 27,226 > F-tabel 3,09. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,360 menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut mampu menjelaskan 36% variasi dalam pengelolaan keuangan, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan literasi keuangan dan pengelolaan gaya hidup dalam mendukung kestabilan finansial generasi sandwich.

Abstract

This research explores the themes of poverty and social discrimination in John Steinbeck's work entitled 'The Grapes of Wrath' through the perspective of Marxist theory. By using qualitative methods, including and in-depth understanding, this research investigates the content of the extent to which the characters' analytical experiences are in line with Karl Marx's views on class struggle. Findings show emotional representations of poverty, depicted through the return of a person recently released from prison to meet basic needs, and social discrimination, such as the rejection of homeless groups as local residents. This research deepens the understanding of economic structures and dominance interactions, providing insight into the complex relationship between societal forces and individual experiences in this novel. The aim of this research is to understand the various forms of poverty and social discrimination by utilizing the Marxist theory proposed by Karl Marx.
