Abstract

This study examines the interaction between halal and conventional tourism in Lombok, which has emerged as a leading halal tourism destination in Indonesia. Using a mixed methods approach and sequential explanatory design, the study maps levels of compliance with and perceptions of Muslim-friendly tourism and analyses the dynamics of the interaction between the two paradigms. Findings indicate that although the majority of the tourism industry in Lombok has adopted halal tourism principles, their implementation remains variable, particularly in the micro and small business sector. Furthermore, tensions exist between global market needs and Sharia principles that may impact Lombok's image as a Muslim-friendly destination. This study proposes an integration model that emphasises flexibility in service delivery and market segmentation to achieve a balance between halal and conventional tourism, which is expected to strengthen Lombok's competitiveness as an inclusive global destination. These findings provide an important contribution to the development of more adaptive and relevant halal tourism in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan sari buah kurma terhadap yogurt susu kambing. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan: P0 (kontrol/tanpa sari kurma), P1 (15 ml sari buah kurma), P2 (30 ml sari buah kurma), dan P3 (45 ml sari buah kurma), dengan volume susu kambing yang sama pada setiap perlakuan yaitu 250 ml dan dilakukan 3 kali ulangan. Parameter pengamatan meliputi rasa, warna, aroma, tekstur, pH, keasaman, dan viskositas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan sari buah kurma memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap rasa, warna, tekstur, dan viskositas yogurt susu kambing. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi untuk rasa 0,00, warna 0,00, tekstur 0,00, dan viskositas 0,00 (P<0,05), yang berarti perlakuan berpengaruh signifikan. Namun, penambahan sari buah kurma tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap aroma (0,09), pH (0,18), dan keasaman (0,34) (P>0,05). Nilai pH berkisar antara 3,83–3,96 dan keasaman antara 1,37–1,52%, masih dalam rentang standar SNI. Produk yogurt susu kambing dengan penambahan sari buah kurma, khususnya pada perlakuan P3 (45 ml), berpotensi menjadi inovasi olahan yang lebih disukai konsumen karena memiliki kualitas sensorik yang lebih baik dengan kandungan gula alami dan bahan yang mudah diperoleh.Kata Kunci: karakteristik yogurt, susu kambing, sari buah kurmaAbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the addition of date fruit juice on goat milk yogurt. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments: P0 (control/no date juice), P1 (15 ml date juice), P2 (30 ml date juice), and P3 (45 ml date juice), with the same volume of goat's milk in each treatment which is 250 ml and 3 replications were done. Observation parameters included taste, color, aroma, texture, pH, acidity, and viscosity. The results showed that the addition of date juice had a significant effect on the taste, color, texture, and viscosity of goat milk yogurt. The analysis showed significance values for taste 0.00, color 0.00, texture 0.00, and viscosity 0.00 (P<0.05), which means the treatment had a significant effect. However, the addition of date juice did not have a significant effect on aroma (0.09), pH (0.18), and acidity (0.34) (P>0.05). The pH value ranged from 3.83-3.96 and acidity between 1.37-1.52%, still within the SNI standard range. Goat's milk yogurt products with the addition of date juice, especially in the P3 treatment (45 ml), have the potential to be a processed innovation that is preferred by consumers because it has better sensory quality with natural sugar content and easily obtained ingredients.Keywords: characteristics of yogurt, goat milk, date juice

Abstract

Permen jelly susu kambing adalah permen yang memiliki terkstur kenyal terbuat dari campuran susu kambing, gula, sirup glukosa, creamer, air, dan bahan pengental. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik organoleptik permen jelly berbahan dasar susu kambing dengan pengental yang berbeda, yaitu agar-agar Nutrijell dan agar-agar Swallow yang sesuai dengan standar SNI No. 3547-2-2008 tentang permen jelly. Kajian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium pengolahan hasil Pertanian dan Peternakan di Kampus 1 Polbangtan Gowa. Kajian ini disusun secara eksperimental dengan parameter yang diukur rasa, tekstur, warna, aroma dan kadar air dari penggunaan 2 (dua) jenis merek agar-agar yang berbeda dengan 2 perlakuan dan 15 ulangan sehingga terdapat 30 unit/satuan pengamatan. Pengujian menggunakan Uji Tukey (T-Test). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik permen jelly berbahan dasar susu kambing dengan pengental yang berbeda menghasilkan permen jelly susu kambing yang tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar air, rasa dan aroma. Namun berpengaruh nyata terhadap warna dan tekstur. Warna terbaik diperoleh dari penggunaan agar-agar Nutrijell dengan skor 3,93 (kuning) dan tekstur terbaik diperoleh dari penggunaan agar-agar Swallow dengan skor 4,00 (sangat kenyal).Kata kunci : Permen jelly susu kambing, pengetal yang berbeda, karakteristik organoleptik,

Abstract

Achievement motivation is part of the affective domain which also determines learning success. Motivation is an incentive for individuals to do better and tends to assess themselves to measure the progress that has been achieved. Researchers intend to conduct development research to produce appropriate achievement motivation instruments. So that it can be used as an instrument for evaluating achievement motivation in students. This research is a research and development (R&D) with 4D model namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. In this study, only the develop phase was carried out, namely expert validation and limited trials. The instrument developed was a questionnaire with 4 Likert scales. The sample used was Physics Education students at FKIP Mataram University. From the results of the study note that as many as 74% of students who have high motivation, and as many as 11% of students who have moderate motivation. For the results of the feasibility analysis, achievement motivation was obtained from the results of the validator assessment. Based on the validator's evaluation, the achievement motivation questionnaire has an average eligibility of all aspects of 3.37 with a very good category and a content validation value of 0.85 with a valid category. So it can be concluded if the achievement motivation evaluation instrument is appropriate to be used in the assessment of achievement motivation in students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of problem-based learning model assisted by PhET simulations on problem solving ability and mastery of physics concepts of students. This type of research is Quasi Experimental with non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study were all students of class XI IPA SMAN 4 Mataram with sampling technique using purposive sampling technique, because there were four classes XI IPA, so it was determined that class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as the control class. Based on the results of the study, the average value of physics problem solving ability of students in the experimental class was 45.09, while the average value of problem-solving ability of the control class was 39.61, while the average value of concept mastery of the experimental class was 70 and the control class was 51.15. Data on problem solving ability and concept mastery of both classes are normally distributed and both are homogeneous. Data on problem solving ability and concept mastery were analyzed using the polled variance t-test at a significant level of 5% and obtained  of problem solving ability of 2.24, while concept mastery obtained  of 6.18 and obtained  of 2.00, with hypothesis testing criteria if  is greater than  then  is rejected and  is accepted. Based on the results of this study, it shows that there is an effect of problem-based learning model assisted by PhET simulations on problem solving ability and mastery of physics concepts of students.

Abstract

The outbreak of Covid-19 has severely disrupted the education sector, highlighting the urgent need for disaster mitigation literacy to enhance student preparedness and awareness. However, there is a lack of validated evaluation instruments specifically designed to measure students' understanding of non-natural disaster mitigation. This study aims to analyze the validity of a Covid-19 mitigation literacy test developed as a learning evaluation instrument. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), with a focus on the expert validation stage. The instrument was assessed by three competent validators comprising a lecturer, a teacher, and a health professional. Data were collected through validation questionnaires and analyzed using mean scores to determine validity categories based on established criteria. The results revealed that the test achieved an average total score of 3.24, falling into the valid category. The highest score was obtained in the alignment of test indicators with basic competencies (3.67, very valid), while aspects such as test identity, instructions, and standard language usage scored 3.00 (valid). These findings indicate that the developed instrument meets academic and pedagogical standards, making it suitable for use as an evaluation tool to measure students' Covid-19 mitigation literacy. Consequently, this test can be effectively integrated into classroom instruction to support evidence-based learning and strengthen student preparedness against non-natural disasters.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the critical need for effective disaster mitigation literacy among students, yet awareness and adherence to health protocols remain inadequate despite available information. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a student-oriented learning model in enhancing disaster mitigation literacy regarding COVID-19, focusing on virus transmission, mask usage, handwashing, and social distancing, while also assessing student responses. The research employed a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) and was conducted with Class X MIPA 1 students at SMAN 2 Mataram. Data were collected using pre-tests, post-tests, response questionnaires, and observation sheets, with knowledge improvement measured using the N-Gain score. Results showed that the student-oriented disaster mitigation literacy education was effective in significantly improving students’ knowledge of COVID-19 transmission and health protocol implementation, yielding an average N-Gain of 0.60 (moderate category). Furthermore, students responded positively to the learning process. These findings indicate that student-oriented literacy education can successfully enhance both knowledge and behavioral readiness toward health protocols in school settings during the pandemic.
